Just wondering, are you waiting til the timer runs out at the end? I think the achievement doesn’t pop until the timer runs out and you are ported to the next zone.

It’s been awhile since I’ve seen a community so divided about an issue with developers such as this, so I thought I’d also put my opinions all over this mess.

WvW should never be account-bound. It makes no sense for them to be! I play a multitude of characters in WvW and I like to think each and every one of them plays a specific role in my server’s success.

-My warrior is my tank (he’s sort of close to the guard defense trait).
-My guard is another frontliner (also sort of close to that trait).
-My thief enjoys sitting on an AC all day (but he doesn’t have enough WvW ranks to get AC mastery sadly).
-My mesmer is excellent at ramming doors and the flame ram mastery was excellent for him (except I’ll need to designate some time for him to rank that trait line up).
-My necro loves LOVES catapulting walls (however needs considerable more ranks before he can use that trait line fully).

Now, it would be great to combine all those wvw ranks into one account bound rank so all my toons could get what they want, but that goes against the whole spirit of Guild Wars 2.

Is the gold I earn on a specific character used on my other characters? No.
When I run a dungeon on one of my characters, can I use those tokens to gear the others? No.
Even karma is soul bound to character! If I want those temple trinkets, I diligently grind out the karma on my new 80 so I can get them.
All the components to a legendary are soul bound.
Badges of Honor are soul bound.
WvW Ranks are per character.

Everything I do on one character in this game cannot directly help my other characters gain levels or gain gear.

Except, all of those things ARE account bound, except for WvW ranks. WvW ranks should be account bound as well.

WvW ranks should not be an exception. Everything in this game is about sharing between your account. We even have a free wallet now to more easily do this. Why are WvW ranks any different? If the reasoning is that they give a direct benefit over other players, then all account bound anything should be removed from WvW as well.

Picking WvW ranks to be soul bound out of so many other aspects of the game are account bound makes absolutely no sense and kills players ability to swap between alts.

I get the impression that you haven’t played GW2 for 3 months, as gold is now shared amongst your toons and you don’t have to earn it on one toon to spend it on the other, and so is karma. And not to mention, the achievement system and bonuses help all of your alts and not just one, and that excludes WXP.

1. All your gold is added into a “wallet” so that means your chars will share the same gold. Your gold earned on char x can be used on char y.

You’re pretty much wrong.

most of your arguments are wrong by now.

I say again. Karma was soulbound, but with the wallet, it’s acc bount. all share the same karma.
BoH was acc bound before wallet.
Tokens was acc bound before wallet.
And even before the wallet, you could deposit gold in bank, and withdraw it from another char, with the wallet they removed that function.

According to these arguments WvW ranks should be acc bound.

I have to say I’ve been a little disappointed with some of the turn out on Yaks. Do you (some, not all) really need to /dance or /laugh after a group of 8-10 of you kills 1 person?

I wouldn’t mind it if it was similar to grinding to 80….you can hit 80 in one day of crafting…you can get to 80 pretty easily in a week or so hell lets say a MONTH….how long does it take you to get 14,000 WvW levels to max out ONE character…you could log into WvW everyday for a month and still not get to it…..in fact as of the release I have not heard of ANYONE maxing out the cap on WvW levels….GW2 had people hitting level 80 in 1 day through crafting.

I don’t mind them making it a character progression, but they made maxing it out WAY too high for character progression (just like they did for some WvW achievements that would take years to kill enough yaks to achieve…lol) and the dribs and drabs of WxP and the boosters are STILL not enough to make up for that…

If they want the grind to get to max wvw level to be this long it needs to be account bound…..if they want it to be character progression they need to make it much more achievable, and much more than they have been..

I think the average people have reported is about 1 level per hour. If you take that into account it will only take about 19-20 months of 24h playing to max out on 1 character.

Add another 10 months if you want to actually sleep/bio/eat (8 hours/day)….

As stated by a QA team member in https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/MF-items-NOT-account-bound-but-soulbound/first MF items were always meant to be soulbound if they already were prior the patch, and that the fact they wrote otherwise was “miscommunication” on their parts, one which they decided to clarify only after the patch even if they knew there were a lot of people which misunderstood the situation.
Since that last response we hadn’t anymore.

They also Soulbound a number of items that were not soulbound before (I, for example, have souldbound gear in my bank that non of my characters can take out. I have never deleted a character other then my open PvP character slot…who has never bought or crafted any kind of gear (or taken anything from the ah). The 2 tickets I have submitted so far (as well as that post that was closed) has only been answered with

Because players are lazy, I said it in a different thread, if you make an alt it does not start at 80? Just because you put time into 1 character does not mean all characters should reap the benefits, new character, new progression. Should a fresh 80 come out rocking Guarded leech or Applied fortitude because you spent time on another character ? The answer is no.

I really do blame WoW for the ever growing laziness of players as it seems this is when MMO’s went laughable ez mode. Does anyone remember when you actually had to work at your character, its what gave players a sense of accomplishment for thier time invested.

So what you are saying is titles should also be character bound. In order for you to show “Golden” on your fresh new toon, you first need to earn that gold on that toon. Giving your new characters access to all your titles just doesn’t make sense right? They didn’t earn that title. /sarcasm

If the ranks offered nothing but a title, I might agree with you. But they boost your effectiveness in WvW (sometimes greatly). If WvW experience was capped at like 100 ranks, I might agree with your laziness idea, but the fact that you can get 1000s of ranks…and that you benefit from having at least 1300 ranks (1315 points at the moment) leads one to believe that this was never ment to be an alt friendly system.

Working for account progression translates to laziness, again if it should be account bound why do alts not start at level 80 ? And yes getting the ranks and points on all characters is ez mode. You did the work on 1 character you should be rewarded for that 1 character, you did not do the work on 2, 3, 4, 5 ect character so why should they benefit.

Its disgusting how lazy players have become.

My alts (if I ever choose to start more) will start with all skills and be lv 20. Am I being lazy? Should I ignore these items and just start from scratch? Should I not buy/craft my alts gear as that makes the leveling process faster and easier. And while getting ranks might be easy, do you know how long it will take to get over 1000 ranks on multiple alts? (or to simple get the first 230 levels for leaching abilities?)

How do you make a crit bigger? More power.

How do you get more power? By increasing your vitality and eating +6% vitality to power and +4% toughness to power. You use a bloodlust sigil. You use dragon’s breath bun type food. In this way, I don’t care if you’re ranger or thief. You will get more power and do more burst on that 1 shot. This is the 1 shot build whether you believe it or not. Notice I never mentioned a specific trait here besides the grandmaster that lets you get the free crit. Besides that, I only said to build in vitality, use maintenance oil and dragons breath bun, and wear Valkyrie. Any profession can do that but thieves get a free crit for stealthing. So they should be able to pop out, to a 10k or 15k burst, then stealth again. This is the build that is upsetting players and why we’re getting anti stealth.

You do realize any class can do what you described above? (valk gear with 100% crit)

Title says it all.
Anet/devs/whoever in charge, please refund all commanders while taking their tags and make the requirements for a commander tag to be more than having 100 gold.
Maybe amount of captures in WvW for a special WvW commander tag?

This policy of giving anyone who wants it to command in WvW, creates chaos as many of them don’t know what they’re doing.

If you’re looking on improving WvW, start with increasing requirements for a commander tag!

While your heart is in the right place, upping the requirement on having a commander tag (and I’m assuming this would also split the requirements for wvw commander tags from the pve commander tags) is ultimately useless. It is far to easy to get captures/kills/set up siege/build siege/man siege/stomps/yak kills/yak escorts/whatever else you can do in wvw that can be tracked by a system. By adding on the requirement that you need to capture x towers simply means all you need to do is follow the zerg for a little while.

Also, would these requirements be account based? or character based (like current WXP is)?

I also disagree that the first thing that needs to be improved in WvW is commander requirements. If you know a commander is bad, or don’t recognize him right away, don’t follow him. Others will do the same, unless they don’t know any better, in which case you can try to educate them (or better yet, try to educate the “bad” commander).

Because it is progression.
It might also be due to the fact that some people uses different character for different things, and thus would want different abilities unlocked in WvW.
As far as we know they can’t have account-bound ranks but character-bound unlocks.

Why isn’t s/t pvp “experience” character based to give us progression?

The different traits on different characters argument never made sense to me. A new character gets the first 5 lvs faster yes, but then every level after that takes the same amount of experience. So 2 characters to lv 100 takes the same time as getting 1 character to lv 196 (4 points different). 2 characters to lv 200 takes the same time as getting 1 character to lv 396 (still only 4 points different).

Basically this means you could have multiple alts, each specializing in something different….or 1 meta character with everything (less 4 points). So why not let us choose which character we want to play without punishing us because we like playing more then 1 character? What they have in place for WvW is almost the same as telling s/t PvPers that their rank is now tied to their character and not account.

It’s like everyone forgot that there was a number between 2 and 4… This would make it 1-8, 9-16, 17-24. Ideally, I’d like tiers of 6 so there’s less face-stomping, but I’d think 1 vs 8 would be far less bad than 1 vs 12. Likewise, 1 vs 6 would be less bad than either of the two, but what can we do?

Oh wait, we could try fixing the wvw population distribution. But we’ll just keep masking the real issues with fake new issues that nobody really cares about.

I don’t know where you got 8 being a multiple of 3. There are 24 servers. 8×3=24…

And I’m not seeing Devon actually responding to anything. He’s kind of just dodging questions. We want to know how the player distribution disparity is going to be dealt with. Either fix your servers to top tiers aren’t such lag-fests, or find a way of encouraging a mass exodus from tier 1.
And in order to not guarantee that a rank 12 server will come last against a rank 1 server, has Anet considered taking score evolution into consideration? That’s the closest thing we have to an actual measurement of skill (in that it shows that we do better or worse than the system expects you to do). Taking the total score evolution from the 7 (or however many weeks) period, maybe a server ranked 12 can actually compete against a rank 1 server… Probably not, but it becomes less about the score of an individual matchup and more about how you score against the system’s predictions.

Matchups in a league of 8 would be 3 servers, 3 servers, 2 servers. Do NPC’s just man the empty slot until it’s capped?

They closed it after that reply, so I decided to wait and see if anything were to come forth. Guess I’ll just have to open a new ticket come Monday. I don’t know about others, but I haven’t had the greatest experiences with ticket customer support in this game

I agree with Sandra here. You are claiming arenanet changed your name, while the reaction of the agent is the policy that arenanet has on this. So I do understand their reaction as well. I would advise you to update the ticket with more reasons why you think it was changed by arenanet and why you disagree with the change.

Wilow is as far as I know not a violation of the naming policy (or I would be in trouble cause I have a character called Willow Genini).

So please update your ticket and be persistent, I’m pretty sure it will result in a more likely answer.

If you think you are totally stuck with support and you are running circles or they given you a ‘final’ answer you disagree with then I would advise you to ask an arenanet senior official to look into it. She will always need a 12 digit ticket number.

I was persistent in my original ticket, but decided to give them some time. Now we are 7-8 months later, so I’m bringing it up agin.

In my tickets, I provided a link to a post were people were quoting me, but the name in the quote, and the name of the poster were different (forum name changed, quotes with my account name were not). I guess they didn’t look at it because I could not convince anyone that my name was changed by them, and all I wanted was for them to change it back

A while back you guys (anet) changed my account name (was Wilow, now is Topher….). This was not done as a request by me and I opened a ticket about it (original ticket was on Dec 30 2012). After an initial confused response, I got:

Hmm well I am very sorry for the confusion with the previous GM. Regardless though I’m afraid we are not currently able to change your display name for you. As the previous GM mentioned we may allow players to change their own Display Names in the future, but it’s not possible right now unless the name violates a naming policy. If this changes at any time in the future though and we are able to offer this as a service will be sure to make an announcement.

It’s been over 7 months now and I have yet to see anything bout this subject come up.

Could I get someone to look into this (I’m assuming 7 months is enough time that it’s okay that I post about a ticket I submitted). I’m sorry if this comes off as rude, but it’s actually coming from a building source of frustration.

Why can I choose Assassin’s and Apothecary stats, but not dire/rabid/celestial? Correct me if I’m wrong, but Assassin’s was one of the last stat combos added to the game…

This depends on the MF stats type rather than where you got that piece of equipment, from my understanding:
If it had Power, Precision and MF (like the set which could be crafted) then the selection is limited to the stats combo obtainable from a crafting profession, if it had other combo (like the set from CoE which had MF, Condition Damage and another stat I can’t recall, dunno if there were others) then any from all the stats combo could be selectionable.
As for Assassin’s stat combo being selectionable in the “limited list”, it depends on the fact that Assassin now overwrite the old MF crafting recipe and stats, I guess.

I was kinda thinking something like that…but you can craft celestial gear. I simply don’t understand why they wouldn’t just give us the option to choose any stat combo available to us (this is more towards rabid gear then letting me get celestial gear).

I still have ascended MF on a character that doesn’t need a second set of ascended zerker trinkets. WTB account bound for usefulness.

PS: Is Drakevenom still coming out the Mystic Toilet as soulbound because it used to be MF stats? It surely was before Tuesday.

Drakevenom is still account bound. I got it as a drop with Assassins stats….and Account bound.

Sorry guys. We know it’s unfair. I feel for you considering we were just there last week.

It is actually a great thing, because at the end of the day it shows ANET:

1. How ridiculous the server imbalances are even from 14-19 for instance.
2. Why PPT is a ridiculous system for measuring success.
3. How awful this new league system is going to be.
4. Why having only 2 leagues will be an awful mistake.
5. Why buffing teams/servers that have the ability to hold and maintain the new capture points will backfire….

(That is assuming they actually are paying attention and care)

Unfortunately, all they will probably see is “Wow, Kaineng much have played really really well this week”…and not take into account population/coverage. They have flat out told us that a ranked very low ranked server can beat much higher tier servers by skill alone

(I’m in no way saying you guys aren’t playing well, but for this match up GoM and us (SF) are just outmanned, outclassed…and now outbuffed)

If you really think the server that is ranked 12th at the start of this stands any chance against the top servers you are delusional.

I never said they did. However, I’d argue that they do in fact stand a chance against the 6th ranked server and the 5th ranked server. We are not trying to only ever match you up against your closest comparable server. That was what was happening with the system before and it was bad. If you are saying you don’t ever even want the chance to try and show your skill against a higher ranked server, then I don’t know what to say.

We will continue to look into ways to change scoring to try and even out some of the population based imbalances, but that is not an easy task and it won’t happen during the season.

So I remembers that slightly different (they never said word for word “by skill alone”) :S

But ya, rank 12 stands a chance at rank 5/6…

TL,DR Please don’t cry on the forums cuz your server is full of people wanted to do the ‘new’ world boss.

I have the right to tell Anet and get support for things that I don’t believe is right in their game. Just because I’m not afraid to say what I want or hope for doesn’t mean I’m crying. If everything is perfect in Guild Wars 2, please get off the forums and play your perfect game, because you’re definitely not on here to point out a flaw in the game if you think everyone who does is crying.

You absolutely have the right to post what you think it right. Just as other have the right to post when they think you are wrong. If you would read, I never once posted about what I think the state of the game is. If you have a suggestion, I would post it in the appropriate forum.

Seems that a lot of people are guesting to BG just because we beat him (first), and it’s rather annoying to me that, as a Blackgate member, I’m always stuck in the overflow.

Sorry, but I really think something needs to be done about this; it’s bad for both Blackgate and their original server. Tequatl doesn’t need a nerf, other servers just actually need to work together and stop server jumping just to improve your chances.

Suggestion: Make world boss rewards unavailable unless you complete it on your server.

I don’t want to be stuck in overflow with a lower population, mostly made up of afkers and people who plain just don’t listen (and sit on the floor dead), while people from other servers are taking up spots to “leech” off of our success/coordination instead of working to help their own server.

Edit: I just want to make it clear that in no way am I trying to be mean, it’s just frustrating as a member of Blackgate that I can’t even play with my own server because other people don’t want to play with theirs.

Baseless accusations. You have no way of knowing if your own server is full of BGters or Guests. This comes off as pure Elitism, plain and simple. Others (on your server) did the hard work, and now you are upset because the rest of your server wants to “leech” off THEIR success.

Unless they get rid of servers for PvE purposes and just go to the (in my opinion, superior) district system that GW1 had.

What does guesting have to do with guaranteeing your spot? I’m on SF and I have yet to try teq in a non-overflow from day 1. You do know you have many more people on YOUR OWN SERVER then each zone can hold right?

Quote once where I said guaranteeing a place for me…please. If you would read, I’ve said most of the difference would do is lower queue times for people trying to get into their home server…not to mention, (randomly picking numbers) if there are 50 guests and 100 home server players left in overflow, that means 50 of those home server players would get a spot. That makes a difference. 50 players are happier and everyone has lower queue times.

“Home server” players have priority over guesting with regards to overflow ques (search function is not working, else I would provide the thread with a dev response to this). I wasn’t directing the “guarantee” part at you, as their are others posting in this thread. If I had been talking to you, I would have used @ or quoted something you said. Try not to take everything personally. For the next while, if you are placed in overflow and Teq is about to spawn, you will most likely not get it. The best thing you could do is to find someone in your home instance, join their party and hope you can join that way by spamming “Join their instance” (or whatever it’s called).

You mentioned that you were placed in Overflow after the recent Update. That sucks, but at the same time, your “Home Instance” is probably full of other BGters, not Guests…

Teq is the new thing in this game, everyone wants to participate, and since your server is one of the few that have completed it, your whole server (those interested anyway) is going to be trying to get in on the action. The BG server is Very High/Full server. You guys get qs for everything. If this is your first time experiencing it, I wouldn’t suggest trying to WvW during prime time.

TL,DR Please don’t cry on the forums cuz your server is full of people wanted to do the ‘new’ world boss.

What does guesting have to do with guaranteeing your spot? I’m on SF and I have yet to try teq in a non-overflow from day 1. You do know you have many more people on YOUR OWN SERVER then each zone can hold right?

They had a break steamrolling DR and ET last week, so its ok.

On a serious note, the orbs don’t seem to be as important as just the absurd matching system. Its basically whoever has people in off hours, 3x more people on the field etc.
And as long as this issue is not addressed, no amount of buffs will be able to help.

Don’t worry. Once the league starts, we will be matched up against these kinds of servers on purpose (we don’t be able to blame the match making system anymore).

Yeah that’s a matchup that simply never should have happened. We’re in a similar situation over on HoD where we’re fighting DH for second place against a larger IoJ force. Anet’s terrible matchup system is bad enough, but adding the bloodlust buff just makes it way worse.

Our guild group is used to fighting larger numbers; fighting 2-1 is expected. But fighting 2-1 where they ALSO get 100-150 more stats? Not even interested in playing the game at that point.

I remember 2 weeks ago when it was HoD and SF vs IoJ, sorry to hear you guys get to face that 100% coverage steamroller again :S

Yup, this is definitely what i wanted to see in wvw! (I’m GoM btw, y’know the non-existent server in this matchup) At least we managed to grab our bloodlust back from kain, not that it will last very long T.T

Wow, haven’t seen Kain pull 660ppt since War Machine and Cryptic Omen ruled the server there. Of course, we pulled 695’s in those days…

Obviously this has nothing to do with the buff. Kaineng was doing this to you guys over the weekend as well. You have a rank 14 server going against a rank 19 and 21. It would be like Blackgate going against Dragonbrand and Maguuma. Kaineng also barely broke 100k last week while Dragonbrand almost hit 400k.

Although this seems like another Orbs of Power (OP) situation, it’s more of a place for sPvPers to hang out other than kitten island.

Over the weekend and even Monday SF was semi able to hold our own during our prime times. Neither SF or GoM stood a chance this week, that’s true, but we could at least go out and have fun for a few hours every night. That’s a thing of the past now.

They told us in an interview that they didn’t give them a reward on purpose. The stat buff alone is more then enough incentive for people to go cap them (plus atm they are a good source loot due to massive zvz(vz) – dependent on your match up obviously.

…PvP Helm of Divinity is the basic armour right? The basic set can’t be deposited (you can get new “basic” pieces from the merchants for free). As for the other items you said you got from your reward chest, do you already have a copy of those pieces in your PvP locker? The PvP locker can only store 1 of each skin. So if they are double, and you don’t want to use that skin on your toon/alt, I would recommend using a PvP salvage kit.

Marnick, common sense in video games is “the set up does not matter, what matters is interaction”. Allow me to just talk about my play style a bit just so you would see how I play. I am a guardian, the first week of release I came up with a build I still use.

I got 30 points in a talent tree that said applying boons heals you. I added 15 in a another that allows my F1 to reset on kills and blind mobs in aoe. 5 in another so that same f1 would apply around 12 boons every time I press it. The outcome is that every time 1 mob dies I heal for around 2k and prevent next attack of mobs. I supplemented it by using weapons that apply boons, the little circles on the grounds guardians place. You can invest remaining 20 points in talents to allow those circles to heal as a their own source. Now I can place a symbol with my mace and it will have 3 healing sources, their own, boons = heals, and the healing boon it gives. Best use is using a hammer who places them on auto attack as well as providing best boon you got, 30% damage reduction 100% of the time.

My post argued the interaction of stats, less power less use from crit, less crit less use from crit damage, less toughness = less use from healing/vit, even condition damage interacts well with precision. Some games have soft caps and that becomes really hard to work around and its no sin to not be aware of it. But in gw2 scenario they made it very simplistic.

So you are attacking people, calling them bad, for taking “tanky” gear, yet almost half your traits (and most of the traits you bothered to mention) are based around “tankyness”…did it ever occur to you that maybe these players might have a more aggressive trait line then you? and make up for it by having more tanky gear?

And your last point is just wrong. Condition damage is not affected by crit at all. Your build might have interactions with crits causing conditions, but Condition damage itself has no (zero/0/nil) interaction with critical chance or critical damage.

I was going to read through it my self, to correct spelling, but then I saw how much I wrote so I figured I’ll pass… I’m pretty sure majority of players will just read a few lines and start defending gw2. I’m really looking forwards to some constructive responsive telling me why I’m wrong or some opinions that would say what else is wrong with the game.

Um…if you can’t even be bother to read your own post….why would you expect anyone else to?

World Bosses / Overflow

Sorry if this has been brought up (which I’m sure it has) but the search isn’t working (again…)

Lately I’ve been seeing more and more overflow events for the world bosses. Can something be done about this? (maybe something like what you guys did with the invasions?) ATM, for about the first 3-4 hours after reset, unless you are their prior to the event triggering, it’s next to impossible to get into the main world instance (non-overflow). With the new boss vamps and new rewards/achievements incoming, I can only imagine this getting worse.

you think it’s bad as a regular prof, try a necro.
you might be fast enough but one hit against a minion and you slow down, it makes exploring more a chore and less a fun experience.

remove it, i can see why it’s there in the case of JP’s but please, remove it from battles.

Sorry for the double post, but as a necro in WvW, using Locust Swarm and killing a moskito/rabbit/critter and then being slowed down for 30-40 seconds -yes, I have ran that long while “in combat” (as Locust Swarm was able to recharge) with nothing around me – is just plain stupid.

Lol unrealistic? Have any of you tried running with a giant sword in your hands? You are slowed down because your character goes " in combat" and pulls out their weapons giving up faster sprinting for the ability to defend themselves, makes perfect sense. Think through your suggestion instead of whining out loud in the suggestion section.

Let me rethink it for you.

Only apply combat slowdown if you choose to bring out your weapons and defend yourself and not when you choose to escape your enemy. This also gives the sheathe weapons keybind a better purpose.

Simple, just try to think for a few seconds before posting a complaint instead of a suggestion.

Giant sword…valid point.

Tiny dagger? Slingshot skin? Pistols? Bow (short or long)? Rifle? Axe (smaller hatchet, not big kitten war axe)? Certain swords (rappier like, slender swords)?

You point would make sense if the system slowed you down to combat speed after taking x% damage. As is stand now, if I’m running through the woods and I get hit in the face by a bug, I don’t slow down to defend myself.

I do like your suggestion about the sheathe weapon option.

Do you have a legendary in your main hand too? The main hand legendary will nullify any visual effects your offhand legendary puts out (flames around your character, footsteps…)

If you were lagging then the game could have thought you were in once play, showed you in another, then when the game tried to correct itself you took “falling damage” equal to the difference. It’s kinda the same when you die or almost die from walking down an angled sloop…this has happened to me a number of times.

Item became Soulbound without equipping it

Unbound items with MF stats became accountbound, regardless of afterwardly (?) chosen stats.

Soulbound items with MF stats stayed soulbound. (as intended but misunderstood at first)

So sorry, but this is wrong…at least for many (most?) people. If you were not one of those, you got lucky. Most MF items (that were not soulbound prior) were indeed returned to you as Accountbound, however when you chose a stat on that piece of gear, it becomes soulbound it to the character choosing the stats (to be fair, they did put in a warning on this part).

As to the second point, it was not misunderstood (or if their was, it was an internal one with ANET). In every instance of patch notes/coming soon (at least 3 different posting from ANET staff) that they posted (some have since been altered long AFTER the patch hit) they said that mf items were to become Account Bound. It MAY have been intended from the start, but it was not what they communicated to us at all.

You can’t make blue versions of any of the weapons from the first time through. You can still buy the skin of the tp though. As said, you can however make green or yellow versions of the sword via tribulation mode.

So tonight, with the help of a very patient and kind guildie, I got through World 1 Zone 1 Tribulation Mode. Not being the most proficient of jumpers, this was quite an achievement for me to say the least. About 4 hours of play. At the end, with the boss killed I started to collect the mass of baubles that drop and was then zoned out to Zone 2 in about 5 seconds much quicker than when you play normal mode…and without having had the chance to loot the glorious chest. And therefore did not get the first component of the skin. Is this as intended?

And yet you need to wait like 30-40 seconds after killing each worlds zone 3 boss…when you have NOTHING to loot. This imo should be reversed (or do what fractals does and let you choose when to move on).
