After some experimenting, it seems that the minis aren’t put away because of high populations, but because you are in a combat zone. i was in a super flooded LA earlier today and my mini was still out, but every other map, it had to be put away.

If they didn’t want us to use minis in combat zones they should just say so…

P.S. this is kinda dumb after getting my miniature collector title, i want to show off my minis.

umm Warrior. I have seen a warrior running full signets die 67 time on Honor of the Waves STORY MODE. Story Mode. let that sink in for a minute. Mind you, he never activated his signets a single time… and blamed the rest of us for not supporting him. -_-

It’s still sitting in Rata Sum, i’m sure they will bring it back eventually with more levels to boot!

Like the title says. Most cultural armor gets used by various NPCs but i don’t recall seeing this one, i was looking for color inspirations.

Anyway, from what I have seen, people farm the Aetherblades due to those events always spawning like 5 or so champs, given enough people, while the others only spawn one or two at most. Loot tables also have something to do with this as people keep saying the minions give crap loot compared to the others and to not bother.

I think an easy way to spread the farmers out is to have all event types, Minions, Aetherblades, and Molten Alliance, spawn very similar numbers of champs with very similar loot. This way there would not be as much bias from the farmers, and the people who want to actually do the event still can in a timely manner.

Just my 2 cents.

Just to follow up with actual info, the sylvari people tend to have names that are inspired by Celtic, Welsh, Irish, and Arthurian naming conventions. Taydis sounds authentic enough though.

It was mentioned off-hand by the Whispers rep in the human personal story that Jenna may not be the only person with claim to the Krytan throne. Not sure if it’s Scarlet… but who knows, the leaves could just be an illusion…

+1 all over the place, I’m not colorblind at all, but some friends are so i support this. Some fights (coughLiadricough) are downright impossible for them and I believe it should be easy to implement.

As it stands there are many players that are colorblind to the point where they can’t differentiate the red circles from a brown or light green floor. The ‘movement’ of the circles that was introduced not long ago was very helpful, but there are still times when this color is too light to be seen, or the floor it is on blends too well.

So, my suggestion is the ability to change the color of these AoE circles, even if our only option is purple, it would solve many problems for colorblind players. Please consider this or at least some attempt at helping the colorblind see these circles.

Apparently someone at Anet has the idea that guys don’t want to glow.

Only light female T2 glows. Tier 1 and 3 don’t glow either.

Even more reason for us all to glow!

I know this has been discussed before, but darker lighting at night would be great. As it stands it’s barely noticeable in most areas, I just had to look at the sky to make dure, I mean if it weren’t for the crickets in the background noise I would not have guessed. So please make the lighting at night a bit darker all around.

hmmm I just tried it with different armor, and it’s not proccing fear. Moaning Marv and Phokus, are you wearing Transmuted TA armor, or TA armor with different runes like I am? as a side note, while wearing my transmuted TA armor and using my 1h sword clones, fear does not seem to apply.

This needs to change! I am male and want my expensive, expensive armor to glow like the lady’s do. -_-

Ok, new question. You don’t appear to be wearing TA armor. Did you get your armor set fully from TA and then transmute it to something else +put in new runes?

I’m wearing Whispers armor with TA stats and runes of the mesmer, but I transmuted it like a year ago lol and it’s not from me being hit. Also, it’s not a problem with the rune of perplexity, cause i don’t have those yet.

There! almost missed it, it’s only a one second fear, and my attacks don’t seem to do this, only the clones. And it doesn’t seem to happen very often.

I noticed on the outside of the shrine’s walls that the stained glass window for Grenth is missing while it is indeed between Balthazar’s and Lyssa’s on th inside. What’s up with that?

I don’t mind that they are all female, however I do not like that they appear to have nipples. just my two cents here.

Actually in an interview, i forget where, they said that now that they have all of the seasonal content done they can now focus on pumping out more meaningful content per release.

Yes you need to complete the daily that pertains to the Queen’s Jubilee for the last points if the meta-achievement. I was supposed to get mine today but I guess the torchbearer one did not credit properly, so tomorrow we can bask in the glory of our nipple robots.

Alright, This has gone on for far too long. My poor charr engi likes to use a shield but when he draws his weapons it looks as if he punched through the middle of the shield and is wearing it like a bracelet… please please please fix this. I don’t know anything about programming, but it can’t be that hard. T.T

Ok, for all of you who are saying you need zerker gear and build, let me say that I am a mesmer, My traits are 10/10/10/10/30, my gear is precision, power, condition damage, with trinkets for healing, toughness, cond, and I beat all the bosses so far bar Liadri. I did not ever retrait or change gear, I changed my weapons and slot skills, tried different things and figured it out, it’s not Impossibe.

This content and all other temporary content is optional………….. There is still the rest of the game. If you don’t want to put in the time , you won’t get the rewards. This is by far the best update they have released. Seems like every update that is tied to LS keeps on improving.

Also if you don’t like the whole Living Story concept , then just don’t participate in them. There are many players out there that don’t give two craps about LS, at least they don’t come on the forums and cry about it.

Totally agree, besides this ‘themepark’ feeling won’t go on forever. Anet said in an interview (can’t remember where :x) that now that they have their core rotation of holidays scripted and done, they can start adding different things with each release. Some of ya’ll need to chill, it’s still fun if you just relax.

I agree on the odd camera, it really needs to be able to go through walls or fixed above or something.

Well it’s a good thing it’s not mandatory… I don’t get why so many people are upset that THEY can’t do it, many people can’t but it IS possible, I’ve seen it.

There’s knockdown? I didn’t notice and I’m a mesmer and didn’t use stability. I took out Stiches, then First Mate, then Captain, then the Sniper, and yeah you have to kite a lot.

For all the whining and complaining about all this stuff, this release has proven to be really fun. The wait times for the Queen’s Gauntlet arent bad because they are restricted by the tickets, the challenges are difficult (sometimes infuriatingly so) but CAN be done. The other stuff is cool too, with the huge events and whatnot down in the pavilion in conjunction with the new champ loot bags. I for one really enjoy all this. Thanks Anet, can’t wait to see where this goes!

I like to pick weapons and skills that are fun or interesting to me and building my traits around that style. I don’t know, I played mesmer first and have all the other professions at 80 now but still love my mesmer’s playstyle.

I agree with the OP in general, and would like to see more in this already rich world. I mean I don’t know very many games where i want to just listen to the npcs talk to each other.

in each of the races cities, you’ll find asura gates which are big purple circles on your map. these gates will take you to Lion’s Arch, the main city hub, from LA you can get to the other racial cities. To get out of Rata Sum (the pyramid) you have to take an asura gate out, when you walk up to it it will be titled Metrica Province, this is that city’s starter area.

I’m assuming that since they didn’t mention the token rewards or bags of wondrous goods, then they won’t be changed, I don’t see why they would ever do that.
