It will show area healing but no actual healing.

Also, when I choose streamlined kit, equip a kit, and choose other trait, streamlined kit icon will appear after swiftness is worn off. Streamlined kit icon wont disappear unless i select streamlined kit again. Equipping and unequipping a kit without streamlined kit will have no effect, but the icon will stuck on my screen above my skills.

It does have glowing particle effects, but it does not emit its own light. You can see it, dimly, in darkened areas (such as Sharkmaw Cavern), but it won’t illuminate the area like a Torch weapon or Fiery Dragon Sword.

Could you please attach a screenshot of its particle effects? Thank you.

Does emissary’s staff glow in dark? I can’t find the answer anywhere.

Just did Dragon Stand again and treasure mushrooms with no pop up chest left unopened, no more pop up chests from treasure mushrooms. My treasure mushroom chests went to the void in space.

Here is what happened to me in Dragon Stand:

1. Finished towers, got 2 chests. Did not open.
2. Finished Mouth of Mordremoth, got x number of chest, did not open.
3. Quickly sell junks, and head to trophy chest and got loots.
4. Start to hunt treasure mushrooms, successfully killed all three. Thinking treasure mushroom chests are hiding behind those unopened chests.
5. Having some inventory spaces for noxious pods, so I farm them until map kicked me out.
6. Clear everything/bags in my inventory, and start to open chests on my screen.
7. I only have 4 chests.

Where are my treasure mushroom chests?

What do you do with all those specialization collections accessories?

27 accessories found through out Tyria and Maguuma Jungle.
9 accessories traded from end of Dragon Stand.

That’s 36 slots total taken from my inventory.

Also for those novice’s/recruit’s/initiate’s pack, what do you do with it? Those are soul bound and not salvageable.

Revenant chest is not included in daily login reward, as title said.

One of my character is stuck at prologue as well, can’t exit the instance.
I was finishing “torn from the sky” story when yellow update message pops out.
I quickly finished it and restarted the game. When I came back, that character is stuck in prologue.

In short, keep on waiting, it will be applied, eventually.
I closed my ticket, for now.

I didn’t receive extra slot either, I upgraded on Oct 20th.
Sent a support ticket, hopefully to hear from them soon.

I think it is important that A.net adds the veteran slot sooner than later.
Some people who used all slots won’t be able to play revenant if they only pre purchased standard edition.

I am unable to play GW2 after windows 10 update, it says I need to install DirectX 9.

I had Dx9 with Vista, I think Windows 10 upgraded mine to Dx12.

What should I do?

Not sure if it is a bug. When ranger’s pet activates F2, the pet becomes aggressive even when it is in avoid combat mode.

I only need boons from certain pets and want it to stay avoid combat when F2 is activated.

Is gem store HoT deluxe upgrade exactly the same as deluxe edition?

My account is pre Jan 23rd:

If I prepurchase standard HoT and upgrade it to deluxe with 2400 gems before it launches, I will get 2 character slots(one vetran slot, one deluxe slot)?

If I purchase standard HoT after it launches and upgrade it to deluxe edition with 2400 gems I will get 1 slot(deluxe slot)?

If I prepurchase standard HoT I will get 1 slot(vetran slot), and I upgrade it to deluxe with 2400 gems after it launches I will get another slot(deluxe slot), for total 2 slots?

Guardian’s sword 1 skill, 3rd skill in the chain, sword wave, does not trigger/activate/do zero damage under following situations:

TA forward path, killing 4 Nightmare Court Archer protected by a Fire Shields

CoF path 2, killing 4 Acolytes when they are under a fire shields.

1. Will revenant have specialization?

2. Will each profession have more than 1 specializations? Like secondary profession in GW1, since a.net mentioned that specializations as sub classes.

3. Is specialization pve only or both pve and pvp?

4. Will people with specializations have advantages over people without it?

bug 1:

When I slide field of view slider to maximum view, upon returning after log out, FOV resets to normal view unless I slide the slider again to maximum.

bug 2:

Upon death after I quit from a dungeon, I can not enter to a new dungeon unless I way point alive. Upon way point, game tells me I need to download additional contents(which I know I already have it). Upon accepting to download the contents, I then able to enter a dungeon.

I need help on Warming Grawnk’s Heart.

Received the letter with my Charr, went to the spot letter directed me to, can not find Seimur. Check dulfy’s guide, and looked for Grawnk/Orphan to tell me where Seimur is, can not find Grawnk/Orphan.

GW2 is too confusing.

Also, my Charr does not have many maps discovered, can I complete Warming Grawnk’s Heart with multiple characters?

Will GW2 have controller support soon? Played GW2 too much, my right hand index finger starts to have joint pain.

At least for combat moves we can use all our fingers with a controller. Inventory, BL windows, LFG windows, WvW windows still use keyboard.

Is devil horns town cloth or helmet skin?

I bought one a month ago during last Halloween(a month ago), it is still in my mail. Plan to use it, checked on wiki, and it says it is town cloth, which can not be used during battle.

Also, are the horns placed on a character’s forehead or hover above a character’s head? I checked Google image, got different results.

If it is a town cloth or it is not attached on forehead, I will contact customer service for refund, since I haven’t used it.

I had similiar experience, though not exclusive in fractal.
Here are some of my thoughts:
1. Be considerate when you join 4 members in a same guild group. I was kicked in cm p1 once when the group was at the final boss at 50% health. They are just trolling for not letting you to get the reward.

Also got kicked in ac p2 once in a group with 4 members in the same guild, one member with 11k ap, one with 7k ap, one with only 2k ap. I thought they are in the same guild the experienced one probably telling the non exp one how to play on TS, so I kept my mouth shut. In the spike trap room, exp members and I stacked at a corner and let the non exp player pull the trigger on top, but non exp player was on the wrong one and his guild members somehow didn’t tell him where to stand. So I went up the the correct trap trigger, and showed them how would this trap work with the position they stack at, and ask non exp player to stack, thinking his guild members would cover his kitten . The exp player then telling me to stack and let non exp player to pull the trigger since I have higher dps. I said fine, we finished the room quickly.

Until the group was at the final boss, where we need to set up traps for ghost eater. I suggested 2 traps since there was non exp player in the group and dps was low. The exp player in the group started yelling that he has legendary weapon he knows what to do. So I suck it up and didn’t argue with him since I already spend 30 minutes on this dungeon and it was almost toward the end. I said fine, tell me what to do, one, I didn’t want to argue, second, I wanted to see if he really know what to do. The group set one trap, failed, everyone started to run around in chaos, instead of running to second trap and preceed to set it up. I didn’t say it because legendary wielder told me to shut up. Some died in the process and i tried to stay alive because I figure they probably wont res me or will blame my death for their failure. They start to res each other and one of their member was still attacking while ghost eater was in ghost form. They took too long and the game reset, ghost eater health went back in full. They kicked me.

Luckly the next group I joined everyone was exp and finished ac p2 in 10 minutes. So really, it is wasting time to show courtesy and helping players. Nowaday I don’t join 4 guild member group and I don’t talk in dungeons. If I sense that this group would fail, I simply quit and find another group.

2. If you see some one request to kick some one, don’t second it if there is nothing wrong. Some people are so bossy they start to rampage towards anyone who didn’t exactly what he wants, maybe the boss was killed few seconds slower, maybe an obstacle was failed once, they start to kick everyone. If you second it, you will be the next one on the list.

I too wish to replay season 1, maybe in a form of past memory.

From one of its comment, someone explained how he gained swiftness on heal without healing skill, but instead, using tonic and skill 6.

Here is the quote:

“He’s not getting swiftness on weapon swap, he’s getting swiftness on heal (or more accurately on activation of skill slot 6). Notice he’s got the quaggan tonic in his inventory and activates it several times in the video. When he uses the quaggan tonic, the exit tonic form skill replaces the heal skill (slot 6). I don’t use the words cheat or exploit, can A.net confirm is it a bug or does it work as intended?

According to wiki, unlock one weight of gloves will unlock other ones. I finally reached to the top today and unlocked the gauntlets of madness, but other ones doesn’t unlock. What went wrong?

If your mail is full, e.g. more than 10 messages, you won’t receive your order by mail from a.net until you delete at least one message.

Once you receive the mail, accept the item, double click it. It will be unlocked account-wide.

You can get Deluxe Edition upgrade from gem store for 2000 gems.

As for heroic edition, you can get Legacy armors from gem store for 500 gems each armor weight. You can make your own Mithril Box for 2 gold plus crafting materials. 10 Experience Boosters is useless if you are already level 80.

1. right click a name in a party, select kick from party
2. while it await for a 2nd vote, cut scene stars
3. cut scene finished or skipped, green 2nd vote check mark disappeared
4. right click the same name in a party, kick from party option disappeared

Just type “…\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -autologin in target area when you right click gw2 short cut and select properties.

Since there’s a distinction between soul-bound items and account-bound items already in place, I doubt they would make soul-bound transferable between characters in the same account (since that’s what account-bound items are).

Correct. There are several types of items, and the configuration of each item is made as a conscious decision. So it doesn’t seem likely that that the request would be fulfilled, so that soul bound items — things that are tied to the soul of a single character — would become something that could be shared across all characters. That’s not to say it could not happen, but as a general concept, it seems highly unlikely.

The toilet doesn’t care who the gear is bound to, or who throws it i, as far as I know.
Put the parts in the bank, take them out on the character doing the flushing, and fill your boots.

Mesmer can put her armor in my bank.
Engineer can not take out mesmer armor from my bank.

Souldbound items should be transferable between characters in the same account.

I have 3 soulbound exotic armors from my engineer and 1 souldbound exotic armor from my mesmer. All are from leveling reward or karma. I can not salvage, except sell it to vender.

I plan to throw it all in mystic forge but can not because one piece of armor from my mesmer can not transfer to my engineer.

I already know I need to claim it in time. The question is, I only got 100 claim ticket this week, and I don’t have anything desire to trade at this moment. Can I keep those 100 tickets for next week and combine the next week tickets to upgrade one of my hero weapon to mistfirged hero weapon?

Title: A type of players who are immuned to suspension:

Casual players, who only play 2 days a week. A three days suspension doesn’t make any difference to them, because they only play on weekends.

Is it possible that someone put a minimum bid on his item by placing a bid on his own item? Maybe not the rares(a.k.a. yellow), but for those low supplies items.

For example: item A lowest seller sells for 350g, only 3 available. People only bid it with 117g, and bidders out-bid with each other by 1 copper. The seller doesn’t want to sell no less than 280g, so he bid his own item at 280g. Whoever want this item must bid higher than 280g. Someone bite, and bit 280g0s1c. The seller then outbid it by 5g, and back and forth, until the bidder grow tired of it and buy it 350g or when the seller is satisfy with the minimum purchase price.

Another example is low cost dyes, a dye normally cost 75s, highest bid starts from 48s. The sellers keeps outbidding bidders by 1kittenil bidder grow tired of it and buy it at 75s.

Possible?

WvW has lots of champs, and the map is intended for players to capture spots by killing champs. Why not a.net make it so the champs in WvW drop the same bags as the champs in pve. This is win-win-win situation.

WvW needs zergs, lots of it.
farmers needs champs, wvw has lots of it, champs are close to each other and repeatable.
pve doesn’t need aggressive champ farmers.

As titled, miniature dismissed after applying a dye.

Very simple to try, apply a dye, click apply. Miniature disappeared.

If I purchase delux edition upgrade from gem store(2000 gems), will I get 1 legacy armor skin of my choice unlocked or will I get all 3 weights of legacy armor skin unlocked?

Another update, after I’ve done 2 paths separately and only left the groups after completions, the system lock me back again.

Often I joined a group, I found a low level character in the group, or low achievement points(under 1k), and found out this is not the group I want, so I quit.

Or, I want one particular run, I joined an all path group and asked them if they mind doing the path I want first, if they say no, I change to another group.

In those situations, I can not see the levels of characters in the group, or achievement points they have, or whisper the group leader what my intention is. Only I have to be in the group first before I can make my decision if I want to stay, or communicate with them.

So by join and leaving a group 3~4 times quickly, system locked me out for joining new group for quiet a while, maybe for an hour. This created a barrier for me to enjoy the game, and there is very limited time window that people are playing dungeons. After the peak hours, it is difficult to find dungeon groups.

Could a.net polish the LFG system with better filter system so people can find a right group easily?

About 5 hours ago, I was in a AC path 2 speed run. Before I enter the dungeon, I had to travel several way points to get to the dungeon to save some silvers, I kindly told them I was on my way (it will take under a minute the most). This necro was already impatient and said that this is speed run and they shouldn’t be waiting.

The group preceded until we were in the trap room. We were stacking at a corner to lure gravelings to one trap. We succeeded with some knocked downs. This necro then start to bossing around saying why guardian didn’t use “hallowed ground”.

Being a guardian, I kindly told him I was using “stand your ground”. He replied disregardly: “I am talking about Hallowed ground.” I questioned him if he play guardian, he said he has level 80 guardian. I then questioned him “stand your ground” has same functionality as “hallowed ground” which both offers stability. This is my guardian so “stand your ground” is the choice of my skill. He then said he didn’t see me doing it. I replied I did, and it is not my fault that he didn’t noticed it, I suggested him to turn up his volume to hear me shouting “stand your ground”. He replied that I couldn’t stop talking even thought he is the one who started it and the one who made fool of himself.

At this moment we were defending for Detha for her to set up traps, in another word, we were almost finish the path. At this moment, he kicked me out.

I have to say his behavior is very abusive since the beginning, and he took advantage of other players to do the dungeon for him without getting the reward, I wanted to report him for verbal abuse or LFG system abuse, not sure which reason is more appropriate, or if I do report him, will it back fire me for abusing the report button.

Case 1:
Had a fractal party, at the end where chest spawn, before any one click ready, party leader quitted, kicked everyone out of the game, most of the people didn’t get the reward chest. I am the one who died trying to beat the game. I didn’t get the reward as I was running back from check point.

Case 2:
Had a random CoE group, two of them are from the same guild, but they are not the party leader. At the end of the dungeon before the reward screen, two of them from the same guild randomly voted to kick me. I messaged back to party leader not to leave early. It turned out that they are not the party leader, and they intended to kick one of the other player but instead clicked my name. They reimbursed with some money afterward but I was after the token.

Case 3:
In one of my CM dungeon, party leader had to go, not sure if his mom was yelling at him or he had to go to work. He said “got to go” right after the final boss died. No single person gets the reward screen, I am pretty sure he himself didn’t get it either. He didn’t want the reward doesn’t mean other people in the group don’t want it.

Solution:
Everyone gets full reward automatically when the final boss killed, even when they are not in the same instance. It is only fair that everyone who contributed gets the reward.

That’s another thing I don’t like, A.net should find a way to make the paths more rewarding rather than make the game so boring people are paying to skip it.

When you see people skipping certain part of the game, that means there are some flaws in a game design that people don’t find it enjoyable.
