There has essentially been no real/proper dungeon or fractal content updates since launch.

Fractured! was a complete disaster which nerfed Fractal Skin drop rates into the gutter and rehashed a few old instances from Dead story.

I was advised by a friend that order of operations messes up people who are otherwise very bad at the game. It mostly works. Something like 5^2-2^2 ought to be sufficient. You’ve now excluded everyone who can’t or doesn’t read, or who doesn’t have a high school or better (or in some countries, middle school) education, or that they know how to use google/some similar tool to solve the problem for them.

I’m so glad that people are actually doing this too now. Since a few months back i started using this and it proved to be highly effective in sorting out terribads and told my buddies to do this too, though i usually just put really easy problems like 5+5*5 or something similar.

And yeah, you’re definitely going to want to have a buddy to second your kicks. Otherwise you’ll most likely just end up leaving your own group because of BHBs and PHIWs filling it up without reading or anything.

Another upside to this is you often get angry people whispering you for kicking them because they didn’t answer the math problem right and tell you “l2math” or other angry stuff.

…But most of the time i don’t bother gearchecking or anything and just join random pugs anyways for the hell of it.

Eles should have used Glyph of Renewal(mainly Earth for 3 people) and it would have saved their groups from a lot of deaths.

Your definition of “PvE” does not equal “dungeon PvE”. I can safely say that most of the playerbase playing this game is either too inept, scared, lazy, dumb or just too bad for dungeons and would rather mindlessly zerg in open world.

“We”(the toxic dungeon elitist players) despise anything open world PvE(aka. mindless zerging+afk ranging). It doesn’t help anet literally forces us to do open world boss zerging to get Dragonite ore(which is a component in Ascended gear) and a LOT of it(500 per weapon, 1500 per armor set), so don’t put us under one carpet, please.

But yeah, i agree with most posts here. We definitely need new PVP game modes, new challenging small group(5-10) Dungeon(or even raid) content. Fractured hardly counts as new content for that matter, before some people come in here and scream how “PvE” gets all the content, since it nerfed loot drops hardcore and only recycled a handful of past living story stuff, except the thaumanova reactor.

Of course it is, you can find an almost solo (downed due to a lag in rapidfire) on youtube.com/sylarscreed. I did that somewhen around january 2013 in rare magic find equipment, though, so don’t expect anything breathtaking. Has also been within my first half hour of playing engineer.

Just showing you how kittened the idea of removing fgs without giving elementalists something as refund is, at least seen from a balance point of view.

And while at it, please take away all warrior blocks, the 8 second cooldown evade, reduce healing signet to 1/3 of its current, take away 8k of their base health and reduce their armor by 300. Why? Oh, now you’ve got an elementalist without fgs.

But lets not forget about guardians, you must surely agree they make content too easy. Remove protection, aegis and their stability from the game. And do something against purging flames too. Make it so that allies burn while in it.

And mesmers, of course. I mean, they’re fine, just take away any single reflection ability they have, of course including the removal of phantasmal warden.

And thieves, remove their shadowsteps and more importantly stealth. Also take away their perma blind, it trivialises content.

And engineers? Man, their blocks! Screw them.

Rangers are fine, necromancers too. Wouldn’t this be a perfect gw2 world? Everything’s on the state of an ele now, risk/reward wise.

I’ve got kittenloads of Stargazers Pendants, Ghosteaters Hides, Colossus Fangs and even a Bloodstone Fragment once. But yeah, didn’t see a single recipe dropping this year.

With the no rez rule of the tourney in place, what kind of team comps and strategies do you expect to see in the tourney. The same old meta or teams taking a bit more defense as some assurance?

We took a guardian, thats more defense than we usually have.

We use stealth for skips in TA all the time, something like that never happened to me in 1,5+ years of playing.
