Probably not the worst, but definitely the most recent; Pugged a Lv40 fractal on my guardian to kill some time. Generally i run guardian when i pug since it’s easier to not have a run ruined by silly pugs when i’m on it, and it proved to be a great choice.

This kitten warrior kept flaming me for running GS/hammer/mace/whatever instead of sword, saying that it was by far the highest DPS/utility a guardian has, and i’m gimping my party by not running it for every encounter. He also used his apparent mystic powers to deduce that i was running defensive runes/armour too (i’m not), since i was managing to not take much damage most of the time. Apparently not sucking automatically means i’m full tank…

Halfway through the third fractal he then decided to not run PS because he was “tired of carrying us”. We then got to Mai Trin, where he decided that standing as far away from the rest of us as possible was the best decision to make, so we spent longer than we needed to get her stacks off. The other party members then died in the second cannon phase, which led him to start abusing them instead of paying attention to the fight, which then saw him being smashed by Horrick. He shouts at me rez him, calling me names and telling me that without him we’d have to redo the entire fight, and that he doesn’t have time to waste on us….etc…etc.

By this point all the other members of the party were massively kittened off too, so i said to them that i could drag the fight out solo for as long as they wanted, just to kitten the guy off, which they agreed to. So i spent 20-25mins kiting her around with the warrior going mental in the chat, telling me to die so he can kill her himself. The other party members were obviously having a great time watching him get more and more frustrated, when i told him that i could probably kite her all day without dying, and intentionally not killing her.

He then left the group, which caused us no end of amusement. Good times.

Grabs popcorn great job on that, wish I could have seen that :P

You could change your trinket to adapt your build. They are far cheaper.

I’m sorry but if you have a mix of zerker and celestial and your character is too squishy for you, then you are not a really good player. Why did you went after ascended gear if you didn’t master your profession yet? I mean AC is already super easy on an Elementalist in full zerker so I can’t imagine any profession with some celestial gear.

Maybe you 2 should go 1 on 1 in PVP..see who is right about being a good player ?

I’ve played the revenant in the Beta..I must say it is not yet convincing.
Ofc we have only a limited items to our disposal, but so far I feel the following:
- The animations of the skills are rich..maybe too rich for my taste, blurring the environment
- Skills execute quite slow imo
- Working with a revenant has similarities to necro, ele, engi. A lot of possibilities and switching between stances, making revenant a challenging class to play. (but thats really personal)

Isn’t defending objects like a supply camp suppose to be “working as intended” ? I really do not see why this is a con (regarding the OP). It demands more strategic planning if the need to speed up upgrades arises..if this choice is not made, well, upgrading takes a bit longer. more a matter of choice then a con IMO

Maybe unrelated, but this weekend I solved perfomance issues with my wife’s laptop. It seems that on win7 64 bit, ServicePack 1 is causing a problem with the SVCHost.exe Hope it helps in some cases

I really do not see the problem to make the direct targeting appear on the mob you have currently tagged..I still wonder why this is not implemented yet.

Downside of this is that there is a kind of witch hunt going down..I was roaming wvw for daily purposes, evaded with Shortbow skill 3 upon stumbling on an enemy but dc’ed after that. Upon returning (yay for ssd drive ) , I got this whisper from someone who’s name shall remain hidden (although my fingers are itching to place it here!!) that he has reported me for speedhacking ! I explained to the player this was not the case, but sure enough, player blocked me..
How is ANet dealing with false allegations ? Any of you encountered this ?

Extra tip: For OBI shards, you can go on a treasure chest farm in the silverwastes too. they drop as loot and also you can buy those with bandit crests

Yes. You can get these nodes at a laurel vendor.

Also, OP, if you aren’t averse to buying stuff with gems and you really want sprockets, get a watchwork mining pick. It has a chance to give sprockets when in use.

2. Henchman to be able to run instances with your own 5-piece group

depends..if you use the basic infusions, there is a limit. If you however manage to find infused ascended trinkets (those have 2 infusion slots) , you can create your own infusions and go up as high as you like although it is not neccessary..I think that 70 is enough. Be aware though that self-crafted infusions ONLY work with forementioned infused trinkets !
So, you could use the simple infusion slots for stat raise and the infused trinkets for added AR

Very, very rarely, at least for me. I think I got one in the last year.

Map completion does often provide a key though, not only drops. You might want to have a better chance creating a new char and explore. And it is totally independent of what level map you complete (expect they dont drop from city maps)

First of all..you will never steal XP..the system doesn’t work that way.
Second, if someone accuses you of this, ignore the player and even block it.

About the events, there is a huge Wiki available in which all events are explained. I am sure you will find what you are looking for there. It is not we do not want to help you but describing the vast amount of events to you would take up a lot of forum space (eventually ending in another wiki :P )
