There will always be Zerker elitists. No matter how hard the game is, there will always be someone saying “Yeah, this game is easy, so I roll zerker because I know how to dodge!”. The sooner we all realize that there are going to be elitists and move on, the better.

I don’t understand. As a guardian, you have just as much chance of getting silk (or any other mat) as any other profession. You don’t need to level an alt to get what you need for crafting. Silk is used across all professions, so you wouldn’t need to have a light or medium armor character to get silk.

Go read today’s update. They are making it more likely to get equipment you can use, meaning I will be getting more Mithril from salvaging heavy armor and less Silk because I’ll have less light armor.

No skins. Let’s keep some exclusivity between PvP and PvE. If PvP has all the skins PvE does, why should PvP get exclusive skins?

As a guardian, lemme just say I go down plenty in the tower. The only “class-ism” I’ve felt in the game is from other players and their Warrior only groups. I’ve never felt rewarded for playing a Guardian. I can see why you’re frustrated, but if I get attacked I’ll still go down to those torments in a couple seconds. You’re overestimating the Guardian by a lot. Most of my DPS reduction comes from dodging.

I hate people who use knockback while a zerg is taking down a champ in WvW. Seriously, our combo fields don’t help if no one is in the field!

In Guild Wars 1 Campaigns you received 2 free Character slots (total of 10 if you bought ‘em all) so it’s possible. It’s worth noting however, that Guild Wars Eye of the North, the only expansion for Guild Wars did not include a new character slot, though it did not include a class either.

Kicking someone should require 50% or more people. In a group of 5, 3 votes would be required. In a group of 4, 2 votes would be required. In a group of 3, 2 votes would be required, in a party of 2, you can just leave the party.

Giving the Lionguard every weapon he owned and now paying all the repairmen so that players still learning the game won’t have to. What has Kiel done again? Ruined the reactor with Scarlet and given you a temporary discount on waypoints.

Not sure about Necros, but Elementalists already can swap between 4 different attunements, if they could use multiple weapons they’d have waaay more versatility then other classes.

So wait, the problem here seems to be everyone likes to have a full list of every exotic craftable in their little tab? You’re complaining because of your Uber-OCD? Sounds like your problem. You can still craft them in the discovery tab, so all this really does is not make them show up.

Except it totally screws up balance, and their have been plenty of suggestions on how to get around the server limit. People say that more than 25 bleeds would be a death sentence, but if those same people rolled Berserker’s it would be a death sentence.

Before today Guardians were screaming how much they wanted longbow. They get a longbow that works like a longbow. Now everyone is complaining.

What exactly did people think Guardian Longbow was going to be?

1. Not all of us were screaming for Longbow. I wanted mace personally, or off hand sword.
2. The problem is the utilities. They are all traps, something that isn’t super useful on other classes. For example, since the healing skill is a trap, you’re reliant on your enemy to trigger it for you to get healed. It will be absolutely useless in a ranged fight, something that a longbow Guardian will be doing.

I’ve played the game for two years now, so my bday box better include 8000 gems, 1000 gold, and every legendary as well as a stack of 250 of every crafting mat, and scrolls that turn my alts to level 80 with full ascended equipment. If it doesn’t, by god, I’ll whine on the forums for an ungodly amount of hours!

It is in the context of them removing armour repairs and the cost of retraiting. Whether it’d result in more gold, less or the same amount in the economy we can’t say yet.

I think it’s gonna reduce the amount of gold in the economy. Repair costs and retraits (at least for me) cost me maybe a gold or two in my lifetime of pugging dungeons. Champ farms however make up a huge part of the economy. On the bright side, this means inflation may slow down a little, though with less outs for money in the economy it could just skyrocket.

I run a Guard so i’ll worry about the projectiles and stability.

I’ve found my long lost twin! Same goes for me. Know what you’re doing and I don’t care what you’re running, every class has a use in FotM. I don’t play high level FotMs but low level (10-19) volcanic fotm is probably my favorite so far. All my reflects keep the slimes dead (group ’em up and throw down a wall of reflection) and then melee the boss.

Instead of donating gold, we donate bloodstone. Depending on the amount, we get new vendors!

I hate to say it, but I’m pretty sure ANet knows this. Just about everyone who’s rolled a Charr complains about the clipping issues.

I can so see that happening. Some troll making 30 million eternities and sending them out to everyone in LA and the entire playerbase being banned.

I think it would make the game worse. I enjoy the action oriented combat, and imo Zerker being to powerful isn’t the problem, it’s the other sets not being worthwhile. I ran Knight’s for a good 8 months, but I found I was at almost full HP the whole time and since it didn’t do me any good to have full HP, I started cycling in Zerker gear. I originally believed I was drawing more Aggro, but now since I have full Zerker I’m still drawing the same amount of Aggro, if not more. Until Toughness draws more Aggro than DPS, and a certain portion of damage is undodgeable (I think 90% of the damage should be mitigated by dodging, but 10% should still be done), Zerker will remain on top not because it’s just too powerful, but because the others are pretty redundant.

Crucible of Eternity should have 1.5-2 gold reward in my opinion. Ascalonian Catacombs is a pretty mind numbing dungeon, and takes little skill to complete at higher levels. Crucible of Eternity requires more skill, and isn’t always as mind numbing. I’m also a little biased that higher level content should be more rewarding than low level content. It doesn’t make sense to me that the lowest level dungeon should be the highest rewarding.

No. We don’t need another reason for legendary weapons to become more and more common. They’re already becoming pennies in a coin jar at this point, but we dont need more of them because you no longer need to buy sigils.

It would only make them equivelent to ascended. Right now they are effectivley worse because it costs more to make a legendary than the several ascended weapons you need for multiple build. Not to mention each ascended weapon gets a good sigil for that build.

At one point Legendaries had the same stats as exotics. Let’s keep that in mind.

What point are you trying to make?

You said that legendaries were effectively worse than ascended weapons because for the same price you could have multiple ascended weapons with multiple sigils, and it wouldn’t be as expensive. The thing is, legendaries are supposed to just be skins. You could get plenty of exotics for the price of a legendary, yet players still went after it for the skin. It’s always been cheaper to just get a bunch of different weapons than to get a legendary. I’m not sure why you want to change that.

I haven’t played GW1 but normally with things like this, isn’t there some super ultra rare minipet where 99% of people couldn’t even dream of affording while the special 1% gets to show it off?

The game was great, until I hit 80….now its boring, nothing to do.
I love crafting in any mmo, I usually horde mats and such. GW2 theres no reason to, why waste my time when all crafting is for is the nicest gear, but there is no reason to have it unless you want to run a 5-man fractal (5 MAN!?, might as well call it an expert dungeon)
There are too many games out there that have everything gw2 has and much more.
Devs need to figure out a way to keep people engaged at 80, fractals and playing barbie dress up is not it.

As long as Agony Resistance is the way you progress, I’m okay with it. I don’t want to be able to come back to Arah in Tier 76 gear and one shot all the enemies. IMO Agony Resistance is a good balance between grinding for stats and a lack of stat grind.

Everything acquired on a Revenant will be lost at the end of the beta, even if it’s put in the bank. Log in as one of your other characters and try getting the Ascended Armor chest from the bank. From my understanding, it shouldn’t be there.

At first I was really upset at the length and quality of this episode. Then I realized the only person to blame here is me; I expected quality content.

I’m having clipping issues with my Human Male Guardian’s Greatsword and Luminescent Armor. Whenever I run, my Guardian decides to sheathe the Greatsword in his back. This is really disappointing after working so hard to get my luminescent armor.

I guess in terms of the game I soloed the final boss of SE Story having no idea what to expect. 3 of my party wiped and the 4th guy was running through the entire dungeon to get to us (he joined after we had a drop out). I didn’t read any guides or whatever so I had no idea what to expect and got him to 50% HP before the other guy got there and we took him down. My party members were all cheering me on, and when we beat him one shouted “I want to have Valder’s baby!” at which point I left the pug.

@Raine I was told that the reason for bleed limits was to reduce strain on the servers. I think we can all agree that the 25 limit stack on bleeds was, and is, a horrible idea, I was just trying to work around the limitations. It would be easier to just remove the 25 bleed limit, so I agree that would be much better than implementing my shoddy attempt at reworking conditions, or reinventing the wheel.

I hope it’s done on an activity basis on the rollout. It’d be pretty ironic if over half the players that were put in the beta weren’t actively playing the game.

If there weren’t gold sinks, people would accumulate more and more gold devaluing the currency. Eventually you would be paying gold just for copper ore to start off. If the gold wasn’t removed from the economy, then inflation would be through the roof, which is very unhealthy.

Wasn’t Flame and Frost a Charr/Norn thing that went for 4 or so updates? If you average it out, the Humans will have had 2, Charr will have had 2 (if they split Flame and Frost with the Norn), Norn will have had 2, Asura have had 1 (the Super Adventure Box) and the Sylvari have had 0.

I’d like a whole lot of specific dailies than a few vague ones. I didn’t like just getting my dailies while doing my routine.

Even if you would to do something else there are no skills for that.

Guardian Hammer auto-attack gives permanent protection, reducing all incoming damage by 33%. There’s a “tank” skill right there.

I just want to get an exotic aqua breather with the right stat combos.

I haven’t even done LS2 yet – I was hoping for more zones to be opened, but when all w got was Dry Top, I was disappointed.

People want expansions. ArenaNet has said that they going to do the Living World instead of an expansion. People still expect expansion-like content. What’s wrong about that?

The Living World focuses around story instead of new maps or new things to do.
Sadly the story is very bad. Many people are not pleased with the outcome and insist that if ANet would’ve done expansions instead, the game would be better.

What’s wrong is that he was saying he wanted new zones, but then went on to say he hasn’t even bothered playing the new zone because Anet didn’t add enough new zones….

If that’s not what he meant, which I sure hope it wasn’t, then I apologize for misunderstanding, but on face value it sounds like a case of “looking a gift horse in the mouth”. If you are familiar with the saying.
