Chickens. So many chickens.
Or perhaps roosters this time of year?
Chickens. So many chickens.
Additional suggestions:
1.: Broomstick and Flying Carpet glider skins
2.: Build options like in the guild hall, but for your home instance.
3.: underwater helmets dye options
4.: command options for necromancer minons just like ranger pets. ( attack this enemy/come back)…same goes for guardian spirit weapons and engie turrets aso.
5.: why are necro minions permanent, but every other minion temporary? i would like to have permanent spirit weapons <3
6.: account wide gathering tool slots
7.: add the list of dyes to the wardrobe preview in the bank. it is anoying to search for dyes on the trading post to apply them in the preview
8.: permanent gathering untill the node is empty…not stop after 3 slashes
9.: a second armor slot to switch outside of combad instead of having to carry 2 armors in the bags.
10.: give us an orange dye, just like the hellfire skins! every orange is just dirty instead of clear and bright.
11.: high resolution screenshots
Addition to Commanders UI and display.
Please add a single line text box to the Create Squad function so that a brief description of the squad purpose can be entered. This text line would show when you mouse over the Commander tag on a map along with the Commanders name (which is already shown). This should help make it clearer what a squad is doing, and would benefit all game modes.
For example:
- “Guild Missions, closed”
- “pug havoc, open”
- “Guild Raid”
- “Hero points”
- “Meta events”
These are all self explanatory and would help players recognise the purpose of a tag and therefore whether they wish to (or are able to) join squad.
Everyone who has ever tryed to play as a healer, be it druid, ventari rev, ele or engie knows the confusion you face when you try to keep your team alive. you may see the heath bar of every member of your team in the group window, but you can´t tell if they are standing right next to you, or are on the other end of the map. if you hover with your mouse over a teammate in a fight, you briefly see the health bar under their names, but in a 5v5 battle in pvp it is quite confusing with everybody flipping around all the time, teleporting from one end of a capture point to another and it is literaly impossible to tell WHO the F needs healing. In raids with 10 men groups it gets evan more complicated, and don´t get me startet on a 50 men zerg in WvW or in Dragon Stand.
so PLZ PLZ PLZ SHUGGER COATED PLZ give us an option to permanently show the healthbar under the names! <3 <3 <3 <3
instead of asking for a redo of the UI to have another Barbie doll panel for mix and match armor that acts like an outfit, why not simply ask that T charges be removed from the game?
In some other games I’ve played, I’ve seen it done where you basically have 2 slots side by side, one for armor and one for skins. Some take it a step further by having multiple pages, allowing you to store multiple outfits. Something like that would be better because the skins aren’t actually tied to your gear, so not only are you more likely to skin while leveling, it also prevents cases where, for example, cultural armor prevents you from transferring ascended.
The simple solution is of course removing the charges, but if ArenaNet did this, they could instead compensate by making them more rare, so maybe people would actually buy them.
This game had 4 years of easy, no effort PvE.
That’s not 100% true because some of the LS1 mobs, and other mobs that appeared after release, like young karka, were actually more challenging opponents. It was sad that the LS1 mobs were removed so this illusion that the game “was always easy” is what remained, but truth is, even during LS1 there were more than enough challenging open world pve mobs in the game.
Not sure what objectives you are trying to get done outside of PvP, but most of Tyria is quite easily soloed.
Even a lot of the newest maps can be soloed, with the exception of some Group Events, of course.
It may just be a matter of time for newer players, such as yourself.
Welcome to Tyria, and good luck.
Edit: Removed a superfluous word…not sure where that came from. Lol.

a more organized system to use your own music, a simple playlist doesn’t do when there are so many situations and just 2 battle options….
increase the custom music volume, even when i use a filter program to increase the volume of the music it still goes almost mute while the normal GW2 music almost screams trough my speakers.
It’s kinda trivial, but .. in the Sylvari home instance, the NPCs in the room just past the first entrance are super-negative. They play the “uh-uh” (or “mmm-mmm” negative) voiced emote over and over and over.
It’s a bit miserable, honestly. Feels super-negative to listen too all the time.
aww! youre of the opinion that you can do something about kitten overlords!
We all have our favorites, but the Kittenizer™ has been with us for years, and I’m not sure we’re willing to move up to the Skritt-o-Matic 2000 quite yet.
The skritt just hit the fan…the dream is dead…kitten everything!

The past couple of years I could reliably get a jackpot vendor item every few days at least, so my gold only rose. This year, even buying a few extras on the TP, I’ve gotten not one jackpot of any sort.
RNG is a meanie pants.
Since this is not a real discussion but more a subjective personal statement, I think this game is great because of the Asura.
Yeah. Excelsior.
and politically highly incorrect. (#Asuracist)

I have to agree. Often does not equal always.
I hope the Devs use their time and resources for something….else.
You can preview all dyes in-game by checking ‘show locked’ in the dye menu. So if anyone wanted to see how it compares to other black dyes they can do that before buying it.
Meh, I will never understand this obsession with black dyes, they are so boring.
It depends what you do with them. I agree it’s boring if you just dye your whole outfit black (and I say that as someone who often wears all black in real life), but if you use them with other dyes it can look really good.
Agree. I need to get a true black to go with my orange for Halloween.

I see a lot of Chinese themed outfits (imperial) and items (pet, back pieces like the monkey, lanterns, etc.) But I have yet to see anything save for one sword that looks inspired by other Asian cultures like Japan.
I am still waiting for that Samurai style outfit to come along. The closest we can get is the ninja looking outfit. That awesome sword needs an awesome samurai outfit to accompany it!
BDO has them, ESO has them, waiting on you guys ANET!
I don’t agree that this is a problem, particularly since I rarely use a sickle, axe, and pick in the same spot. As long as there are roughly an equal selection of flashy, quiet, and fast variations of each, I prefer having more variety.
I embrace the growing asymmetry.
I’m with IWN on this. I love the variety and variation. Not everything has to be part of a set.
There’s a Karka Helm out there that lets you wear a karka on your face, like a facehugger from Alien or Half-Life 2. Should there be a full karka set, with karka gloves and karka leggings and..? You get the idea.
Variety is good!
I’d love to see the Storm Bow be brought back.
If each color is just a code ID, then doesn’t take up that much room.
Yah. My guess is wardrobe would have to be redone also. The current version has the slots remembering one set of colors. I suspect it would need to be changed so that each outfit for each of your chars have a separate memory of the dye selections assigned to it instead of the slot.
ANet may give it to you.

2 years ago condition builds were useless (and I say this as someone who played them anyway). IF you were the only person in that fight using conditions you might be able to contribute meaningful damage but anyone else using conditions actually reduced your damage because everyone was sharing the same stack limit.
And since it’s pretty much impossible to avoid using conditions (even on a pure power build some skills will still trigger conditions) you were better off just using power, unless you were playing solo in PvE and willing to accept that if anyone else showed up they may reduce your damage.
Now condition builds basically work the same way as power builds – you do your damage, everyone else around you does theirs and if you’re attacking the same target it all adds up.
Yes it does mean that in PvP you need to use condition removal, but in many cases you can get that from traits so it happens automatically and you don’t even need to do anything.
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Comes back after 2 year break, dies against people who have been active, calls everyone noobs and asks everyone to be nerfed.
That’s a shame, Lake Doric is one of the areas I’d really like to visit. Admittedly I’m curious about ALL the areas we can’t currently get to, but the fact that it’s in between maps we can visit makes it more frustrating that we can’t go there.
If they do Lake Doric it would be nice if they would just connect it with core Tyria without gated access. They had us pay for shared slots but they are eating them up with portal scrolls. They need to replace those portal scrolls with something that pops up a menu of destinations.
There already is a menu of destinations – it’s called the world map and waypoints. You can get to any map you’ve previously visited from anywhere in the world.
OK you have to pay but the fee is minimal, especially for going to the new maps – mine a couple of nodes once you get there and you’ll likely make a profit. Between the cost of the scrolls and the fact that they take up an inventory slot I just don’t see the point in having them.
(Although it would be nice to have new maps which we can just walk to.)
“Life’s a journey, not a destination.”
Pretty please bring these back to the store once more:
> Aetherblade Armor
>Chain-Whip Sword
P.S. I wish there was an option in wardobe to buy armor/weapon/outfit skins that used to be in the store historically, but for a higher gem price than when they were on sale for example.
