As frustrating as it is to have so many good items turned into tonic junk, I gotta admit: The customer service on refunds has been on the ball.

I’ll add my voice to this as well. I’ve been a harsh critic of some aspects of this game, and most especially of certain decisions made that were a complete turnaround from the game that was marketed for years. That said, this is my 4th MMO, and I’ve never dealt with a better or more responsive customer support group than the one Anet has.

I voted with my money too – just bought a whole load of gems. Why? Cause as I was wondering around the world yesterday, finishing off my Monthly Jumping Puzzles, I came to the southern Diessa Plateau one (the one on the wall), now, around 10 new players were all attempting to do it, chatting in map chat about it, helping each other – that’s when I realised, this system is brilliant – so what about the Mega Bosses, whilst really annoying, a community like this is far more important, not just to me, but to everyone else too. If you don’t want a community like that, caring, giving, participating together when changes are made to make that happen more often – I’m sorry but I think you are playing the wrong game.

Actually, I think it’s very simple to understand. Anet changed the way password reset is handled, and the new security seems harder to break for Gold Farmers. This thread is obviously a scam posted by them, to (laughingly badly) make it look like players want the old system back.

Hence why everything seems awfully translated from a language without latin roots (otherwise the sentences structure would make more sense even after a passage to google trad) But.. I won’t name a country, I think we can all guess, right ? and also why all the ‘totally posted by somebody else aggreing with me" messages have been posted minutes if not seconds one after the other.’

And the funny/sad thing is that you probably made this thread expecting people to sympathize with you.

If they just ‘fixed’ it as you desire, I guess that would leave those that enjoy the new town clothes implementation out in the cold. They aren’t really mind-readers. It takes very little effort to request a refund, and quite generous of them, as well.

So hey guys some real cool information I wanted to share with you all on farming real quick. I really think GW2 hasnt changed in the last two years in terms of anything. I mean you look back on two years what have we got? Really nothing, new skins… Some weapons… yeaa… No dungeons nothing but:

The farming has been really bad in a lot of areas but I wanted to share on how you can get over 30 gold every 2 hours. Please read this look it over and consider. Dont troll because I have been doing this for the past year and a half now and I am consistent with 30 gold every 2 hours.

First off this is obviously a no brainer: Get as many characters to level 80 as possible. Get your gear on them get the essence and do dungeon runs first off. COF P1, P2 and do all of the dungeons as fast as you possibly can, get a good group and do a ton of runs. I do all of my characters on COF 1,2 and that is roughly 600 carvings within an hour (I speed run with a great group of guys.) 600 carvings on 5 characters with 2 runs each on 8 mins.

Take those 600 carvings and then buy the level 70 yellow armor for 30 a piece. Then salvage with your best kit and collect the ectos. 3 Ectos= 1 gold easily and I have been getting roughly 40 ectos every hour or more! yes it is a gamble but ectos are more frequent than you think! You do COF then Sorrows with all your accounts then your roughly at 30 gold every 2 hours with drops. You get a gold plus per run with each character so get it up there. That is one way

2. Check your items. If you look on TP the fine materials like linens and other soft items are going for 2-15 silver a piece. They are uber easy to get you are garunteed them non stop and I have been getting roughly 100 soft items per hour which you do the map averages around 5 gold.

IDK I have given up faith on the toilet, and other items that we are never garunteed to ever get. Keep some noms on you get that 300 MF and get finding guys. It is pretty rough for some of you but for others its going to go well. Good luck and ill see you later

Um, it’s one chest per path/boss per day in the dungeons.

There’s 25 different dungeon paths in the game to choose from, not counting the fractals. Rather than repeating the same dungeon path five times, go do five different dungeon paths. That’s better for money anyway, since the bonus gold reward is already once per path per day.

I like it – got the 1000 skin archievement on the first log in^^

but archievments for 1500 skins 2000, 2500 and so on

or have 50 axe skins 50 greatsword skins 50 rifle skins ……. (later with 75 and 100)

or have complete (armor + weapons) collection from:
CoE set, Ascalon ….. all dungeons
Pact set
Whisperer, Prior, Vigil set

and so on

I was playing just now and realized the game feels like launch. Especially in spvp. I feel really great about spvp now. It actually feels integrated into the game instead of totally separate

I’m sorry to see that you don’t know how to earn gold in game to get optional items from the gem store you want. It seems after reading many of your posts the “gem store is evil” button on your keyboard is worn out and boring at this point. I suggest you buy a new keyboard and learn how to make gold. Or you can keep mashing that button and continue to bore the heck out of all of us.

Yep, one of the perks of playing GW2 is not having those huge maintenance downtimes that many other MMOs have so regularly. =)

Guild Wars Support has, is and will always be the Best in the Business. It is my only wish that you would know that there are players like myself out here that appreciate all your hard work. Remember it when seeming to drown in the constant stream of complaints that is the role of support.
