They should just add achievement exclusive skins (fused gauntlets, fervid censor, sceralite shell, horns of the dragon, SAB backpack covers, tequatl wings, the list goes on) to achievement reward withdraw pool and be done with it.

If being melee, which restricts a foe from using ranged-only attacks, is exploiting, then staying at range to keep enemies from hitting you with melee-only attacks is exploiting. Nerf all longbow exploits!

Keep in mind that the next balance patch, whenever it comes out, is going to have a both 1) the change to crit damage, and 2) the results of the rune/sigil rework.
You may want to just use Ruby Orbs for the time being, before committing any substantial amount of cash.
They definitely need better entertainers to do the streams. The last one I tried to watch, the guy just kept say “umm” every couple seconds, which was rather annoying.

I understand the need for a tax for Listing an item and the tax for the actual sell. I do not want to remove these as I see them as necessary.
When you are selling to highest buy order, you the seller have to come up with a listing fee and you do not list the item at all.
If you are lucky enough to come across a high end item you want to get rid of quickly, you are punished and sometimes have to come up with an a very large listing fee just to complete the buy order.
I am suggesting that they keep the listing fee price for all Buy Orders, but move the fee to the end of the transaction. So if you have a item and see a Buy order that you want to sell to, the transaction will take place and then all taxes removed and then you can pick up the difference from a BLTPnpc. So it will not reduce or remove any fee that you are already paying, just place it at the end of the transaction removing the fees from the gold that you get in the end instead of fronting gold.

I love the idea of the royal terrace. I love the ease at which I can go from Bank to Trade Post to Mystic Forge and over to my crafting station. I like that it is an opt in system, that it provides nothing more than an improved convenience over Lions Arch which offers the same thing. So it’s actually an unnecessary extravagance in many respects.
Right now I’m flipping a lot of items, so the convenience of doing this in a confined space has halved the time running back and forth from the tp to the bank, or the MF that I spend in Lions Arch, not to mention the loading times.
But why oh why do I keep getting kicked every time I log out? I’m not even allowed to walk back in either. The tyrant of a bouncer/guard outside says no pass, no entry. I have a pass, an unlimited one, yet you won’t let me in. It’s like a bad night out when a bouncer turns you down even though your sober with the proper ID, just because he doesn’t like your shoes or something.

I don’t understand why GW2 relies on so many pre-determined stat-combos instead of providing players with the ability to create their own.
Currently we need almost a dozen incarnations of every item just to cover all the stat-combos and more are coming.
It has created an awfully bloated and non-intuitive crafting system instead of giving us something far simpler, flexible and intuitive.
Here’s what I mean:
Imagine there were jewels of every stat. Power is red, Precision is blue, Ferocity is yellow, Vitality is green etc.
Every exotic items has 3 sockets available to these gems. If you socket a stat into the primary socket, you get +101 to that stat, it you socket into a secondary socket, you get +72.
Obviously you can only socket each color once.
The end result is items exactly like ours, except that we can:
- Create any stat-combo we like. Developers wouldn’t keep needing to add more. If certain combos are undesirable for balance reasons (Toughness, Healing, Vitaility maybe?) then simply bar them specifically from being created.
- No more need for transmutation stones. Since armors are nothing more than skins really and independent of stats there’s no more need for transmutations.
- Easy to adapt. Ferocity is getting nerfed? Simply re-socket those jewels. No need to re-craft all you ascended gear.
- Jewels would feel like a nice reward (if dropped) as they’re always useful to somebody, unlike most random exotics.

Extension: I might even be interesting to have jewels with slightly random stats. So a jewels might provide anywhere between 95-105 when put into a primary socket, depending on the quality of the jewel. A perfect (105) jewels would be very desirable, while a flawed jewel (+95) would not.
Anyway, considering the direction gear is heading in GW2 this seems like a far more sensible approach than what we’ve currently got.

I run all 3 CM paths fairly often. It’s a pretty fun dungeon.
Turmaine is kind of annoying to fight because invulnerability is a stupid mechanic.

There is absolutely nothing here that is new information from the Ready Up stream. Please tell me there is more? Do we really have to wait a few months for just this?
And what happened to all the “good things” for Thief?

Flat out no. Keep the power creep out of the gem tools. Cosmetics and minor conveniences. Bonus harvesting is a horrible idea and I really want to see it removed from the current tool, not added to others.
I have to agree here. Usually I defend Anet against the unreasonable fanbase, but I think this new pick is enroaching on P2W territory. It doesn’t matter that the sprockets are cheap, but the fact that it does give you extra items over your standard pick is not good.
Unlimited picks are convenience, which is fine. Unlimited picks which give out extra loot which is not accessable by normal picks is not.
