At this point the only thing this thread has shown is that Excalibur is the definition of a scrub. Apparently he picked a class whos primary strength is stealth and refuses to use it and complains he cant beat another class head on without adjusting his start therefore that class is op. Guess we should all play by his imaginary rules lol

There was one Ebay guy, I guess he was a warrior or guardian, one of the two. Anyway, in last weeks matchup he was trying to take SBI’s N camp. There were a few of us trying to bring him down. He killed me, of course I die lots. So, I wp back and run into N camp again. Now there are 3 CD players trying to kill him. So I get on the ballista and target the CD guys, cuz I am a horrible WvW player. I lack the co-ordination it takes to play against other people. My point is, I truly commend this Warrior/Guardian for his ability to take on so many ppl at one time. So Kudos to you Ebay player, and if you read this you know who you are. Oh and I am getting better at using siege weapons. OH and I killed a thief today in BP BL one on one. Finally I found someone who plays WvW worse than me. Yay ME. :P

Personally I am much more of a solo / <4 man roamer, so I judge a server’s worth based on their players skill, which BP doesn’t have a whole lot of.

It’s too bad Anet disagrees with you. You should be playing spvp, your railing against people playing this part of the game the way it was designed to be played and then calling them bad is just silly.

Zerglings are bad though. Aside from small group/solo roaming to flip camps, I’ve been having fun baiting the people out of zergs to see who overextends looking for an easy kill.

Really have grown found of EB, very good server, very balanced for us. CD was overpowering for us, but aside from that they were a class act. BP, however, I personally did not miss at all. Time after time of running to siege and running away from engagements. I know, you play for points and siege. Still makes for a boring match. Will be interesting to see who falls where after the weekend, I know we have just recently lost another guild and quite a few players, how about BP? Still same population pretty much?

It was probably MACE + shield, not sword. The stun is melee range so just don’t let him get close.

lol they can just use a gap closer then use the stun. besides most of them pack a long range weapon too.

Warriors can’t be mace/shield GW and range common now.

Sounds like you encountered a good player it happens from time to time.

Funny thing is the other day i was in tpvp and a thief just land a backstab on my char taking away 80% of my health in a single hit and then use another skill wich i suppouse was Heart Seeker, and i was downed, he did this 2 times, and i didnt have the chance to land a single skull crack on him.

This cheese mechanics are known from a long time now and the devs didnt nerf them, and i guess they ar not going to do it. But actually this is OP because these has nearly 0 counters it depends totally on luck because you cant see this coming, even if you block we all know what happens when you block an attack that comes from stealth… yes NOTHING.

COUNTERS: … if you cant use a stun break, a teleport a blind or anything that makes you invulnerable, then that is totally your fault and deserve to suffer the 100b damage, if you can manage to get rid of the stun or negate it by any of those many counters then you will have a really good amount of time to destroy the warrior completely because he has nothing, read, NOTHING to do, this build relies on other people stupidity, to land a full 100b, its their main source of damage, in the meanwhile they do nothing to you, and guess what?, in order to this build do good damage he needs to be using a berserker amulet that would hurt but if you manage to counter the stun it will die so fast that he will not have a chance to land another skull crack.

If the warrior is tanky, then the damage of the 100b will be a lot more forgiving and will not get a lot of your hp, unless you are a glass canon and then HOW IS THAT A WARRIOR PROBLEM in the first place, that is YOUR CHOICE.

I have been using this build to some extent and good players use teleports, stun breaks, chill,cripple to stay away, mesmers shatter to make themselves invulnerable or daze to interrupt, thieves spam blinds and makes you fail docens of skull cracks, elementalist use a lot of stability and of course stun breaks, necros and rangers put fear on you, i one time met a thief that put fear on me (idk how he managed to do that really), other warriors use stability or endure pain, guardians have aegis and a lot of blocks actually, the fact is that all classes have stun breaks, evasions, teleports something to make this build suffer a lot, you just need to exploit them.

Like i said, this build relys on other people mistakes, if the warrior is wining then for sure he is outplaying you and thats it, you need to learn to loose, and learn how to use better your class and abuse it.

Is this a joke? Rangers and ele’s have plenty of access to stability, which mixed with stun breakers completely counters the skull crack build. Both also have far better sustain than a warrior and both have access to protection.

That is a common misconception because of big numbers, we actually do damage on-par with other classes.

Yeah, sorry, I’ve put 2.5k hours into my warrior, I don’t think there’s any “misconceptions” left.

Because we clearly don’t do enough damage in PvE already.

I have absolutely no sympathy for any thief crying about this build. None. Zero. Thief has got to be the most ridiculous noob class this game has to offer and people who manage to die as one against a class with such obvious tells when they have that much access to teleporting and total invisibility are losing exactly like horrible players should.

Are people trolling about this being OP or is everyone taking crazy pills? 100b is so bad… If any of you happen to be on BG/TC happy to show you whats up in WvW, bring all the -condi duration food you want because it won’t make the slightest bit of difference.

Excalibur if you are fighting SOR craft your war to 80 and lets do this, you will either see the build is actually bad or claim w/e class is OP. Though I can’t really argue with the second part as my only other 80s are thief and necro right now. =/ (Also not trying to call you out for whakittens worth, video proof would be good)

If this spec doesn’t get nerfed next patch, I’m taking my warrior (currently lv2) to lv80 in WvW and I’ll stream/make some videos with him to show how easy mode it is.

I was levelling my warrior earlier, but then I remembered with next patch comes account balance so I’ll be able to level my FotM warrior much easier.

You do the videos for spvp and show us how OP it is, really i want to see, you dont need to lvl up for that, just enter the mist, show us how much of a talker you are by not doing it or puting some excuses or not even answering this post.

Man, it has to feel very bad to not beign able to be carried by the most op stealth class in the history of mmorpg, you should stop playing video games for the sake of your dignity.

First of all, I don’t really use stealth so I don’t know why you keep bring up that “most op stealth class” thing. Secondly, feel free to show us how op thieves are in sPvP with some videos since you keep saying that and I doubt you’d be able to back it up. 3rdly, I never said the build is OP in sPvP, it’s a very different dynamic in sPvP.

When i said stealth class i was refering to the class not only the actual stealth, thieves have a lots of ways to be cheese, want evidence look at the videos i posted in here:

And it dosent matter if its WVW or SPVP a stun breaker or a teleport is the counter to this build, HELL YOU ARE A THIEF you can spam blind and shut down a warrior completely… just try to use one of the dosens of teleports thief have or a stun breaker and stop with this nonesense.

All he is doing is pointing out a possible bug (which may be true, because 4500+ Heartseekers seems a lot) and you all unload the standard ‘L2P complain more noob’ responses.

To the OP, you won’t get any help here, as you have noticed. If you want, go test it out in Heart of the Mists with a friendly Thief and, if the skill is bugged (wouldn’t put it past Anet) send a bug report.

Edit: If you all keep moaning that Heartseeker is so bad, then surely it being able to do the amount of damage mentioned is indicative of a bug, no?

Well I got annoyed with thieves and glass cannons in general so instead of complaining I decided to go in the complete other path and stack toughness like a monkey.
ended up with just over 4000, SS shows base without food buffs and no thief can kill me ever, never ever. I drew a picture for visual help.

My only complaint about those builds or blind-reliant builds is that even if you block a move that applies blind, you still get blinded. Makes about as much sense as thieves not getting revealed when they get blocked.

We are playing thief of wars here remember, with the most broken stealth class in the history of mmorpg.

I think protection should be nerfed, toughness buffed. This way we will be finally able to see a difference between light and heavy armors.

Behind that protection doesnt not fit warrior, and personally i would like to see greater access to weakness on every weapons set, burst skills alone should cause it
