I was hoping this would be part of the ‘legendary update’ last month.
PLs Dear Devs make Aegis effect invisible(maybe in options) because it destroys the appearance of all shields in game.
I love when I lose a 1v1 fight against a warrior who has 8k more hp and his passive healing is 3 times what mine is and I think “Ya know, even after we got nerfed into the ground during the beta events, we still didn’t have that much damage and passive healing”

I think Ascended gear is a bad idea, PvE doesn’t need it (why couldn’t you just infuse your gear for agony resistance like GW1) and WvWvW sure as kitten doesn’t need it. And guard stacks on top of that, they added an insidious power creep.
So now we get op thieves that play without pieces of armor on to show how they can win with 1 button.
When are they going to nerf that stupid class already? I left the match immediately when I saw that trash.
It depends what you want to do.
Zerging:
Warriors are the strongest class, followed by guardians. Mesmers, eles, and necros are really important. The other classes aren’t too important. Should engis get aoe stability as rumored, they will immediately jump to crazy OP.
Roaming:
Thieves, mesmers, warriors, and eles are the best.
my GM annoys the hell out of me to reroll guardian or necro…
but i love my thief except they suck in zergs :x
I hates thieves on 1v1 encounters…too op.

I can always find a spot/role for every class in my groups.
Guardians can tag the most ppl in a large fight(read: easy to get loot). They are very durable and overall can be versatile. You can never have too many.
Underplayed and needed? Mesmer and to a lesser extent staff ele on the server/timezone I play.

Cause Anet current design = Damage > Everything else. Horrible PvE design in my eye’s but dosen’t seem like they are going to change it anytime soon.
Side note:
Even defiance as it is behaving now is really really bad and actually punishes people for using most of there CC against bosses, if there is someone in the party with a longer duration cc. One easy way to fix is, "defiance is timed x3 on the duration that the current cc had. Meaning if you stun them for 10 seconds, they will gain defiance for 30x where 10 of those will be during the “stun”. Would motivate alot more CC ability’s. Then we are only started on way to design good PvE. Sadly, it seems like no interest has been given to the PvE content although it has been updated alot since release so atleast it is bether than it used to be.

1. Not everyone plays PvP.
2. “L2P” is not applicable when the mechanics are favored poorly towards Guardians. L2D (or Learn To Deal [with it]) is more applicable.
3. Although I personally think some things on the class need bufferage, that’s not what most people are asking for. The conditions meta is horrendous. Sure Guardians have lots of condi removal, but those go on cool down rather quickly. Since we don’t have access to conditions like the other classes, we have to resort to condi defense, and, well, it’s just not there. It’s only logical then that conditions need nerfing.
4. I think it’s safe to say most of us are talking about more than just single 1 vs X or small group skirmishes here (ie less than 5 in a group).
5. Zerg frontlining used to mean something for a Guardian. Condi-spam negates that. Now zerg frontlining is suicide.
6. More than one Guardian in a group is often frowned upon. One is needed, but that’s typical it. Got two Warriors coming in? Heck yes!
7. Other classes do it better. What specifically? Just name it. One exception: Aegis…. wow…. that’s real game changing there.
IMHO, it’d be easier and better to just cut the cost by half and call it a day.
If we want to get more complicated; remove Supply Capacity as a line. Add another 5 onto Supply Master;
10: Increase supply capacity by 1
15: Increase duration of the 2 and 3 by 50%
20: Increase supply capacity by 2 (3 total)
25: Have a chance to grant yourself and nearby allies (1-2)Supply when depleting supply
30: Increase supply capacity by 2 (5 total)
Laurels are time gated and the only way to get ascended trinkets. I suppose some players will have extra laurels after fully kitted alts but WvW levels seem to be a giant waste of laurels.

They had a chance to give some value back to BoH and failed (Laurels really?). But lets be honest did anyone really believe that they would do it right?
Very disappointed about that. A dev already mentioned on the forum that we would soon be able to buy liquid WXP with badges. Looks like he forgot to mention that this will require laurels…
So in the end WvW badges are still as useless as they have always been.

Actually that’s one blob teleporting between maps.
Laurels aren’t difficult to get, they just take time to accumulate. It won’t be long before people have enough laurels they can easily afford all the infusions they want and still have some left over.
It looks more like a golden avocado to me… The oval in the center certainly looks like some sort of large seed. I would have expected something more rectangular.

Except not in GW2. And GW2 is the game we are playing. Old games mean nothing to what happens here.
There a ton of great matchups you could have with 2 servers head to head via the ratings. But it is very hard to have a great fight with 3 teams. And more than not when you do get 2 teams in a match that are even, the third team is wildly weaker or stronger which actually ruins the match, based on who they decide to focus on more.
3 Faction warfare in this game has been an utter failure. It’s more of a harm than good actually.
Ideas have been suggested to Anet on how to encourage 2v1 vs the top team to bring about natural balance, without the unrealistic dream of every server evening out in population. But so far, it seems there is no action and no one listening on this front.

Warrior is by far the king of roaming atm….. with huge damage and survivability ( if built correctly)

It’s all a perception problem. You don’t have to do a single bit of the living story ever. You can always jump into living story if you like what’s currently on offer. It doesn’t matter if you miss some achievements or dailies. This really is a case of looking at a 3/4 full cup and saying it is almost empty.
