I just think people need to respect each other in both directions.
If you go down during a fight, hopefully someone will be there to rez you before you are fully defeated. Do your best to tag a mob/add with low health and steal a revive, or spam your healing if you’re out of damage range of any other mobs. That is, help yourself as well. Only expect someone to help you if it’s safe for them to do so – no point you both going down.
If you are in combat and you see someone go down, rez if safe to do so. It takes all of 2 seconds, then you are both back in combat and contributing. Once you are rezzed, dodge out of any damage that might be coming, heal up and get back to the fight.
Now, if you end up fully defeated, sure, hang around a few seconds and see if someone comes to rez. It might be safe, and three or four ppl may stick around to help rez you and that’s totally fine. Just say thanks to them and be on your way.
DON’T keep screaming “REZ” at people. They KNOW you’re there, probably they’re busy. If it’s dangerous to rez, you can’t ask them to do that knowing all that will happen is they’ll end up dead too. Nobody’s helping anyone that way.
If you see someone down who hasn’t immediately way pointed, DON’T scream “WP” at them. It’s just rude, and all it encourages is them not way pointing just to spite you. A polite request that if people are downed and there’s a wp nearby, perhaps they might do so is fine. If it’s not safe to rez them, leave them. If it is, rez them if you want. They really aren’t scaling the fight up so much that it makes all that much difference. If they insist on staying where they are, then let them. Someone will rez them soon enough or they’ll have to eat the wp fee at some point anyway.
It’s really quite simple.

I don’t wanna quote now.. since I might be quite alot of you but.
I hate to rezz dead people in zergs atleast near WPs.
- Dead people near WP’s are just lazy and it is not about a few silver (If it is you die alot).
- Dead people may be AFK and die again.
- Some people just can’t dodge and dies again after a rezz.
- Rezzing dead people takes away my effort to the battle in a DPS-race (Zerg battles with timers).
- people who type: ‘rez pls’ in the middle of a zerg is totally ignored for the rest of that battle.
Why I rezz dead people
- Dead people are very far away from a WP.
- I assume that the dead player is good.
- It is my friend and is far from a WP or else I tell him/her to WP.
- I see someone in downed state and I try to rezz but there are a stupid corpse in the – — way (Ofc I stop to rezz that lazy mother but when many players do that it gives the —- lazy ones hopes of getting rezzed).
- I am out of combat and away from danger.
I do on the other hand rezz people during the Knight’s becouse so few players go down and usually many others rezz and it takes no time at all. And WP’s is not very far away but IMO it’s far enough away. I myself though WP’s and run back.
Another point to that; What happens if everyone stops typing: ‘Dead people WP!!!’, ‘WP kitten dead kitten WP you kitten kitten kittens you only kitten for the rest of us kitte… um… people!’ and starts rezzing people instead. Just what I mentioned above, when many helps to rezz dead players it takes no time at all, it would almost take more time to type and tell people to WP.
The things I dislike most in party and group events are people who constantly go through the downed-rally-downed-rally-dead cycle. Which is not that uncommon, especially in suboptimal PuGs, especially in places like mid-level fractals or Living Story group events.
Source? Zee meta of berserker’s builds which do not always work when party is not coordinated enough to provide enough DpS to finish the fight fast or enough support to carry glass canons, paired with lack of personal skill to survive with such a build.
Result? Lying dead half of the fight making your party finish for you, or wiping and retrying stacking X times, or spending X tries to finish the dredge fractal with some of your party members totally naked by that moment.
Current state? If you die, you know you will be punished; it may not be a lot, but 1) it is significant for new players, 2) it accumulates over time and 3) no matter how small it is, the psychology tells you “it costs”. You understand that staying alive is at least a bit more profitable than not.
After patch? #GOROLLAZERKLOLIDONTCAREIFIDIECAUSEITSFREEYOLO! Translation: there is almost next to no motivation to stay alive in the group fight because as long as you hit the target a couple of times, you get your credit, and your party/the zerg will take care of everything else. So, more people will be eager to risk – new players because it doesn’t cost them money anymore, old players following nerfs to damage. Thus, more glass canons will start playing, more dead body will start falling, more content will turn into discontent to players who’re tired of spending half of the fight reviving downed zerkers and wiping in process.
TL;DR: removal of repair costs is a step away from “facilitating friendly play” and “build diversity”.

This is going to sound really sad. But, well, earlier, I had a friend hit me up for some sPVP, having to head out to dinner soon and not wanting him to rag on me, I decided to switch to ‘Invisible’ status while I finished off my dungeon.
Although I haven’t tested this myself, my creepy friend informed me on Skype that he could tell I was on ‘Invisible’ status as when he hovered over my name, it only shows my name and the fact that I am offline, while for legitimately offline friends, their achievement score and area where they logged out continues to be shown, (and proceeded to rag on me for being a jerk, and okay, I kinda am).
I haven’t tested this myself, but generally, for social features like this, going invisible shouldn’t look any different from someone who’s offline, that’s kinda the point. Maybe people are gonna flame me for being an anti-social pooper, but I still think it would be nice if this was fixed, if it actually is the case.
TL;DR – Looks like maybe(?) people can tell when you go ‘Invisible’ making it a pointless feature.
EDIT: Thanks to EmissaryVex, a helpful player who noticed my post and decided to test this out with me. These were our findings.

Could you please say what you were doing when that happened? If tell us what you were doing up to the point the bug hit, the devs have a starting point for reproducing the issue and in turn, finding a solution.
What you have posted here is frankly useless.
Definition of swifness, where it says that stacks on duration, it is not debatable, so why a skill that provides swiftness is not stacking duration? to me its a clear broken mechanic on that skill.
I fixed my own issue! I have windows 8 so it was pretty easy. I didn’t have to reinstall anything, just re adjust my settings for touchpad by hitting the:
1) Windows key + X then I pressed P to be brought to control panel-
2) Then at the top right I clicked where it says “View by:” I clicked on Large icons which then showed me every available thing. The one you want is MOUSE. You will then be brought to Mouse Properties.
3)There should be several tabs with a + box beside them, click the one that says “Pointing” then it will drop down & you’ll see “Sensitivity” – the one you want is called Touchcheck or Palmcheck- either way it has a scroll bar when you click on it. Change the scroll bar all the way to the left then hit APPLY.
My issue was that I couldn’t rotate my camera while pressing movement keys & I use a touchpad.
No reinstallation needed! But this is just for people who haven’t checked this option & that is their problem.
This is coming from a girl who doesn’t know jack about computers so I feel pretty accomplished!

3. Complicated, technically terrain related bugs. All classes have this issue to some extent.
While I’m sure there are terrain issues for everyone, this problem is far more severe for mesmers; unless on a 100% flat surface this illusion can fail up to 50% of the time.
4. Working as intended. Good topic for debate on changing in the future.
I believe you when you say this is intended. But I do not believe that you fully comprehend the situation. Mesmers essentially do not even receive swiftness; as it does not only not stack with itself, but it does not stack with any other classes swiftness. It is constantly being over-written by other skills and other cooldowns/timers. If the developers wish to completely disconnect mesmer swiftness from every other swiftness in the game then please change the boon to a unique one so that it reflects that.
9. Intended, follows standardized shadowstepping rules. No repro otherwise.
Surely you must be joking when you say you cannot reproduce this. I can show you THOUSANDS of places in the game where the spell shows you a green target and does not work. All we are asking is that it be changed to stop telling us its ok to cast when it’s not.
12. Intended. Those skills bounce to allies and only grant the POSITIVE effects “boons” its not attached to reflect. (Trick: use your reflect to grant extra bounces
:D:D)
I don’t think you understood this at all; they are not giving boons because they are being reflected by the players they are supposed to land on.
15. Intended. This is how projectile/missile “tracking” works.
This is absolutely not true. If that is how projectiles work then why can ranger arrows track me down after I not only turn invisible but change directions while running.

28. Illusion of Life. Separate thread.
Those affected by Illusion of Life will instantly become downed after killing something, instead of staying alive. Only applies to PvE.Fixed in feature build
Nice! Reported it in the respective thread.

What is the feature build “logged”?
It means it will be fixed in the next release the skills and balance is directed to ship, barring any issues that prop up and push it back.

New Major Trait Unlocked: Tyler’s Feedback
-snip-
Thanks a lot, that’s a very useful list! Basically, I see that fixable bugs are being addressed now, while some are a result of underlying game-wide issues (shadowstepping, pathing) and may need another LS season to get sorted out.
Some of the points in the list are debatable or confusing (“intended, but bug”), but I guess it’s best we just wait for the feature patch itself and see how it works without forcing answers at this stage
I’ll put a notice at the top of the first post and update the list post-patch.
Just wanted to add my voice to the thanks: It’s great to have some feedback, and I’m really happy to hear about some of these fixes (wardens will reliably reflect again!). Thanks!
