Madness Rises [Rise] – Banners Hold.
Don’t argue with idiots, they pull you down their level and own you with experience.
They dont even bother fixing forum search so dont hold your breath on ingame fixes.
gonna make it short, the torment trait on mesmer, maim the disillusioned , deals same dmg to moving target according to tooltip
Don’t care how they fix, but they need to.
Nerf it would be one way, but I would prefer that the event is changed so wurm is immune to feedback skill and all damage is reflected back at mes that initiated the feedback.
BTW, I do firmly believe that mesmers use it solely to grief others during the wurm event. kitten trolls think it’s funny to stop others from getting rewards. Why should it damage the mesmer? That makes no sense. Just make it so the wurm can’t one-shot itself by getting hit with feedback from its own attacks. It’s just that simple.
I threw that in just to see the response. Way too many (I know—not all) are using it now JUST to grief the event.
It would only kill the mes that used feedback during the event, so if you didn’t use it during the event—you have noting to worry about.
Ok, pick a side. You either:
a) Just threw that in there to see the response (which is really trollish), or
b) Actually want them to make a change so that any mesmer that uses Feedback against the wurm dies.
If they’re going to make any change, make it so that Feedback functions against the wurm the way it previously did. Why make it so a whole class of players dies if they try to use a viable skill just because a few griefers exploited it when it was bugged against one single enemy in the game?
You really can’t blame all mesmers for doing this. You don’t have a zerg full of only experienced level 80s doing world bosses, and given that this is in a starter zone, it’s even more likely that you’ll have new mesmers trying out skills. Add that to the fact that megaservers blob us into maps of 100+ people on a single boss, and you get a lot more newbies, thus compounding the problem.
Yes, there are trolls, but not every mesmer is one.
With any luck (okay, seriously a massive amount of luck. With fingers crossed. And lucky kittens on top), they’ll fix this issue in next week’s patch.
A while back my inventory kept resizing, and it’s been happening again. I position my items along the side of my inventory window so that they’re always in the same place, relative to everything else. I keep moving them to fit the window, but then the window is resized. It’s really annoying.
I always keep my inventory configured to be 10-slots wide. Since the 15 April update, whenever I open the game, it’s setup as 9 wide. If I fix it on one character, that seems to fix it for all of them; if I don’t fix it for one, then it will also be 9 wide on the others until I do.
Every so often, the window is shrunk to its default (small) size.
I know there is an intermittent issue associated with the inventory panel adjusting to fit the interface, so I’m always careful to make sure that all four corners are well within the boundaries of my screen before swapping characters.
Indeed, I saw others mentioning its return, but I was not affected by it. Then I happened to move my inventory from where I had it for the first time in months and from that point on I’ve been dealing with the resizing issue on login as well.
Getting really, really old having to (again) resize it constantly.
Update: Still happening. It’s incredibly annoying, and not even a mention from someone associated with Anet.
I think I might take a break from the game until it gets fixed. I can take a lot of things, even balance issues, but I can’t stand my inventory being screwed up. It’s remarkably annoying.

who wants to bet the next update (may 20th) offers no fixes but tooltip changes?…..while at the same time, breaking some other weapon/skill/trait?
There’s supposed to be forum maintenance today… or at some point soon. PLEASE put this at the top of the fix list.
… Or hire Arc. I’ll pay their salary.
Do you still love us Anet? I know you’re busy especially with the China release, but would love to get a status update on if there’s any progress being made fixing these bugs.
There is no point in having any status updates from Anet when they just tell us that bugs are fixed without actually fixing them.
RIP in peace phantasmal warden.
To be honest It is a fair mechanic that was working fine before the patch all that should happen is that the poison darts are blocked and the worm should get a bit of damage. However it is bugged atm causing the worm to insta death. So instead of removing the mechanic just fix the insta death part and in the meantime mesmers should just hold off on feedback till its fixed
Should hold off, but they do not. I have come across too many trolls that find it “funny”.
I saw this bug for the first time yesterday and the Mesmer in question started laughing and saying in map chat “I guess I am too OP”.
Would be great if this could be stopped, the instant killed part of it.

good thing i stopped using my mesmer when it was getting faceroll easy
seriously though, i wasn’t aware of this until today.. i won’t be doing that event anytime soon.. also, if you were a mesmer playing around with this, why would you be so inconsiderate to initiate the skill immediately into the boss encounter
The amount of /sit i see in tpvp is quite saddening.
I hope there are some people working on hot fixes because i don’t think many people can bear to wait for a next feature patch to get all het bugged things from the previous patch fixed.
And if that will be the way it’s gonna be, it shall be bye byecommunity after a while.
One major bug is that when you take a waypoint there is a chance that you will get stuck inside of it unable to move from the spot until you take the waypoint again costing you 1 silver in pve and i know it cost nothing in wvw but some times you only have 1-2 seconds for that wp to be open and then become recontested which means your stuck and if the enemies are inside the keep and tag you your nothing but a free bag
The second major bug is that when you are on a one map and you waypoint directly into a keep on a different map you do not get the buffs put on you ie +5 supply buff ect ect the only way to get them is if you waypoint to the citadel and then back to the keep to get the buffs
Okay, so this is a something that is really annoying. According to the feature pack, every contestable waypoint should appear contested when you’re not on that map. Since the patch though, it has been somewhat of a gamble.
I’ll explain. Say I’m on Cursed Shore, and I want to waypoint to Malchor’s Leap. I look at the map and see that every contestable waypoint is contested as it should be, and this is the case for every person on the Cursed Shore instance that I’m on as well.
Now, say I leave Cursed Shore and then re-enter Cursed Shore again. This time, I end up on a different instance of Cursed Shore. I again want to waypoint to Malchor’s Leap, so I look at the map. This time, every single waypoint on the map appears uncontested.
This can lead to bad situations such as what happened to a friend of mine. I was in Cursed Shore at the temple of Grenth, and the priest of Grenth just spawned. I gave a heads up in guild chat that Grenth was up, and that friend tried to come into the instance with me. The waypoint at Grenth appeared uncontested, so she map-traveled there. When she got there, everything seemed fine, until suddenly, before she could even hit the priest, she was teleported to Meddler’s Waypoint, which is miles away. As a result, she missed the priest-event, and thus the event that would get her the trait-point.
On a related side-note, there’s an issue on Southsun Cove with Owain’s Refuge Waypoint. Most of the time when I want to go there, every waypoint in all of Southsun Cove appears uncontested, and I can just move there freely. However, on the off-chance that all contestable waypoints appear contested, why does Owain’s Refuge waypoint also appear contested? This waypoint could be contested way back during the Lost Shores living story update I believe, but has since then not been able to be contested anymore, so there is no reason to make this waypoint in particular appear contested to us.
The heart quest in Iron Marches in Hellion Forest, “Fight life-stealing minions in Hellion Forest.” is completely bugged out.
You are supposed to talk to displaced spirits and help them recover their bodies and fight ghosts/shades that are attacking them. Not only do the few spirits that you can talk to do nothing but stand there after talking to them (instead of walking to their bodies), but most of the spirits are standing in mid-air in the trees where you cannot reach them.
Please fix! Trying to work on map completion.
The Megadestroyer event was bugged (judging by mapchat – at least twice) at the stage of protecting asura. All pres done, and then simply nothing happened.
This is an issue that has been popping up quite often. When I’m in a large group, all of us taking out a single champion or legendary enemy, more than often me and numerous others of the group won’t get any champion loot box out of it.
Now, it’s no problem if this happens only once or twice or something, but this has been happening a few too many times for it to be just a simple glitch.
It only seems to happen when in large groups of people, which is basically every single world boss encounter with champions that drop loot since the megaservers started.
Another thing that’s also noteworthy happens at the claw of Jormag. When in phase 2, there are some champion icebrood that spawn. I’d be hitting these champions non-stop, and while the icebrood trolls and icebrood kodan go down quite fast, the icebrood wolves and the icebrood goliaths have quite a bit more health. Usually, before their health drops to about 50%, Jormag becomes vulnerable, causing all of the champions to die. Now, on a few rare occasions, I still get loot from these only half-killed champions, but more than often I’m left with nothing. I don’t know if this issue is related to the above, but it is also something I don’t quite understand.
I turn off friendly name plates in pvp so it’s clearer to me who is the bad guy because it’s difficult to distinguish. Also, damage you take is in a red color which can also be challenging for colorblind people – game could really use a color blind option that changes colors of things like these.
I know this is not technically a bug but I did not see a more appropriate forum to post in (suggestions is in “Archive” and last post 3 month ago)
Mesmers and bugs: together till death do us part.
And naturally, it’s evil mesmers who are to blame, and not devs who hotfixed something after the patch and then abandoned the still broken post patch game for China because new buyers are more important than people who already paid for the game, and not devs who seemingly forget to test anything they add on mesmers (be it outfits on clones or reflectable projectiles on world bosses).
i hope devs actually start working on these, cause the list is getting longer and longer.also next time dear devs: these are bug fixes, not buffs, so please dont try to camouflage a bugfix as working on a class. working on our class, improving things that arent well right now like being viable in wvw raids for example is separate from this.
these bugs here dont need to wait till next balance patch. we have waited long enough for many of these to be fixed. so please next patch try to fix a few bugs.
I’ve been for weeks struggling with this issue, it’s hard readability and I think it’s a usability bug/issue.
What is happening is the bottom border of the inventory window is too transparent behind the gold and makes readability extremely difficult.
I find myself constantly squinting or moving the window around and it’s just not a good design, needs to be made more opaque or some other visual change so you can read it better.
I have good eyesight, but I’m sure there are some that can’t see this even at all. For me it’s difficult, and it shouldn’t be to read it.
Hope the devs realise this post is still valid, despite having “not updated anymore” in the title…..
Considering the current Heartbleed exploid you should overlook your current website’s security. There are some weaknesses you better fix:
I attached a screenshot of Calomel SSl Validation tool where your site just gets a score of 46% (very weak) compared to another audit 100% score which I attached here, too.
Please, use the time to improve website’s security for the better.
