Prev. I’ve complained about the lack of epicness. Well now its Epic, but here is a common problem of GW2:
OVERDESIGN
When players already looks like 120W lightbulbs with 10 different effect item, how would it make sense in the lore? Whenever something new cames out, its an overdesign. More shiney, more effected, more freaking dishousting, or just has a visual that doesn’t even fit in the unique GW2 design, which is already a hard candy.
AION & TERA is still more serious, but thats not a reason to follow’em…

I am not understanding this then do you or do you not have to have explorer regions done for this? This was not needed before. as my son had gotten his items months ago without.
What I mean is Krytan Explorer, Maguuma Explorer and Shiverpeak explorer.In my situation, I’ve got Krytan Explorer Maguuma Explorer Shiverpeak Explorer and Ascalon Explorer blah blah blah.

Misty, I think Akatan simply meant that yes, all the [Location] Explorer attainments are on the account. The “blah blah” wasn’t dismissive, it was just like saying “etc.” in that comment.

Mesmers used to be able to clone-dodge while wielding a bundle. The resulting clone would use whatever the Mesmer’s main hand weapon was before picking up the bundle, if I’m not mistaken. Haven’t used that trait in awhile, though, so I wasn’t aware it was broken. I think all these bugs are worth considering, though. However, Anet have their hands full with the ambitious releases they’ve been pushing out and fixing Mesmer bugs only appeases a fraction of the community, rather than wowing everyone like the destruction of Lion’s Arch does. I don’t think these will be looked at until the programmers at Anet get a second to breathe.

Also, not all places have all services conveniently near each other as LA had (like TP near a crafting station). The only place I saw like this too is The Grove, but not sure if other maps have too.
Rata Sum’s actually the most convenient for this, IMO. It’s not laggy at all like LA was, and the bank, TP, and crafting stations are all in one small area. Much faster than running back and forth to the TP in LA.
I don’t particularly care about the crafting stations, though I can see why some would. The laurel vendor/guild commendation vendor really should be there, though, since it’s supposed to be the new hub for everything. Kind of feel like they took advantage of this to implement a cash grab by making certain things very inconvenient for us if we don’t buy passes to the airship.

I find sad and pathetic that Anet still considers more important to create kitten LS content, instead of fixing bugs and broken things.
So yes i am disappointed that yesterdays update only has new LS content.

9. warrior still gets buffs and other classes nerfs (it should be considered a thinking-bug rly)

Well, I guess I have my answer, I posted about 3 weeks ago. New living story released today, no old bugs fixed, no response from a dev to even acknowledge that they might be working on them. This honestly makes me feel like dirt.
Anything being done about the bug that causes you to die from walking down a slight slope as if you had jumped off too high a cliff?? This is a big problem for WvW’ers…
Gettin real tired of watching my guild mates die for no reason & need a rez, slowing up group play in a realm where time is of the essence.
This doesn’t happen to me personally bcs I use the falling trait & I jump around a lot while I’m running along. However it does annoyingly put me in combat run-speed occassionally.
Also, when the new masteries come out, this is going to be an even bigger problem….
They are in the Airship. You need to do the LA events to get the pass, or buy it on BLTP. Can you guess why they did that? :P
TBH I notice clones don’t activate using any trait standard skill when holding anything other than an actual Mes weapon…maybe intentional but for instance when gathering/ carrying items to complete Openworld quests with spawns around you, using those right hand UI skills like decoy or mirror can be useful and ultimately they are skills that are there for a reason not just for show.
Yeah, it seems to be linked to whether or not you start the race at the start of the track. The process seems to work like this:
1. Race starts. All people who were present at the start of the race will get a reward if they make it to the end.
2. Race in progress. People who join in now still start at the beginning of the track will get a reward if they make it to the end. (Not terribly hard since people who are last tend to get a lot of Light Travel power-ups.)
3. Race almost complete. One or more players have already crossed the finish line. Anyone who joins in at this point will start further down the track and are not eligible for a reward even if they reach the end (you get a “This is a practice round” message if you join in at this point), although you will still get credit for the Daily Activity if that’s what you’re after.

Yeah, that drives me crazy. I don’t even understand how people manage to play in PvP with such reliability… It even looks like a bug-nerf – “Let’s brake it and not fix it because it’s too OP!” Same as Warden (and the fortunately fixed exploding illusions).
At this point I’ve played with it enough I usually know when I’m about to cast it whether I can reasonably expect it to reach its target in a timely manner. I tend to try to save it until I’m on fairly flat ground, but even then it will often bug out. Losing a kill because of this inconsistency is infinitely more frustrating than being outplayed.
My Warden is starting to put on weight just standing there, she needs exercise!!
The only “good thing” about this bug is that I didn’t craft the legendary focus before it was introduced.
For my playstyle iWarden is going the way of iMage: use it as a filler if I don’t have anything better to cast, maybe I can use the phantasm for a shatter or it will randomly body-intercept a projectile.
I used to love focus, now it only makes sense for the pull (and that one has been nerfed hard, too) and the occasional swiftness (that doesn’t stack with any other swiftness source after more than a year).

- report bugs
- test reported bugs and provide additional info
- tell us in short why a specific bug is seriously affecting your gameplay (thus bumping the thread)
But please:
- try to keep calm when commenting on bugs
- try to stay on topic and not to derail the thread
We all know how annoying those bugs are, but we don’t want the thread to get locked for a silly reason.
I’ll test some bugs and update the 1st posts tonight.
I really wish a mod or someone who is in the know could tell us how fixes are decided (hint, hint)?
The function of “Select Closest Target” does not work like in Gw1 – agreed. The Tab or Shift+Tab options do work – but in the wrong order of what is closest to furthest. The “Select Target” works as intended. Auto Target is just stupid and will target various random things.
In general the targeting system needs improvement.

I have been running wvw lately on my mesmer (since i have to hit lvl 30 wvw suddently to craft another legendary)
OMG can focus 4 PLEASE stack time on speed boost… its freaking killing me… mesmers are always the back of the bus unless we are sporting blink….
yeah my guild leader wants me to use focus for the pulls, but with this broken phantasm i simply am crippled in my dmg output. id rather use pistol or torch that i can trait to give me protection and stealth and condi cleansing….man iwarden was my fave phantasm before they changed it.
i loved it i could just cast it infront of omega golems and watch them hit them self. and it was also great that it didnt move as i would cast it in he middle of a zerg and it would give some nice aoe dmg…
i vote for reverting the change!

I would love to take my focus into edge of the mists, but with the warden broken and the switfness not working correctly its just depressing.
Love the design of the maps, although whoever designed them clearly never plays a mesmer with main hand sword! I’ve yet to find a place where the sword clone will actually work! :-)
If they “acknowledge” that there are 20 threads on this, then they “acknowledge” there is an issue…. Good luck with that!

I think 20 separate threads is also better than 1 long thread, they almost have to see all these threads on the issue, whether they acknowledge the existence of the issue or not, its stares them in the face multiple times…
It’s pretty kittened up they keep changing the mesmer skills and not fix the bugs.
