Although i dont really think one is "forced " to guest another server ( seems like an excuse to screw someone else ) I do agree that overflows should be on the same clock as the main server so if you get put in one you dont miss said event . How doable said solution is however i have no idea
Adine, I actually like the idea, though soldier classes also come with a stipulation (which ANet themselves put on them) that they all have access to hammer/mace and are the only ones able to use those weapons (yes that means medium and light armor wearers, if ANet sticks to this plan, will never see mace or hammer weapons available…which sucks as they fit with Engineer style).
Easy fix I’ll just add a mace off hand and a hammer so the weapon lineup for it now looks like this

Offhand
Dagger,Shield,Sword,Mace
With the mace only being an off hand it makes it a little more unique

Its interesting the OP talks about Killroy as a later addition "as the game matured " seeing as Killroy was there nearly from the beginning of the series . The fact of the matter is that Guild wars has always had comedy in it . Other examples might be Eve’s pet skull named Adam or Oink in the mission Gates of Kryta
My idea is a "tactician " class ( heavy ). This class would use offensive and defensive skill sets per weapon set up kind of like attunements . each set up would also grant the chance at boon or to inflict a condition depending on your set up.
Weapons would be as follows
Main
Sword,Axe,Longbow,
Offhand
Dagger,Shield,Sword
A possible example might be
Sword Dagger offense grants a chance at poisoning a foe on dagger strikes and is purely offensive where as Sword Dagger defense grants a chance at stability every so many seconds and has more block/evade skills
Even if I was given the 120 laurels I was owed for the 80s I already have I would say no to this its just a bad idea all around as its too exploitable . I would much rather have weeklies on top of the dailies and monthlies for more laurels
Honestly i think they should drastically raise the price of T1 and T2 . At least that would change the mentality of the way people look at the price of T3

Im the complete oposite i think GW 1 with its 20 levels henchmen system and completely instanced game play was catered to a more casual player
How is it forced? No one is making you go to FoW or UW if you dont want to it would simply be an option after you cleared the appropriate temple . ( it should be noted FoW and UW were ment to be groups of 8 in GW it just got turned into a farm later .)
I think it would be interesting what FoW and UW look like so many years later . I would suggest that you pay a fee to enter after the temple event has been cleared for said god. Maybe even add a realm for Lyssa , Melandru or Dwayna where we can now travel as well .

Funny you say that cause i almost used that in my example but figured too few people would know what it was over a D20
it can be any tier as long as the level armor it makes ends in a 5 essentially ( should go without saying ) .

I’ll probably regret this but make the them harder weather it’s more things in each tier or objectives themselves . I can guarantee you by the end of tomorrow I’ll have events done and i already have crafting and vets leaving only dailies to get my monthly .
Queensdale is another good spot and theres a champ oakheart event that spawns in the forest with all the vet oakhearts too so you can knock out events and vets at the same time
No its not a bug , it has to be masterwork so you have to make Embroidered insignia or Plated Dowels of whatever level you’re crafting

Heck make 20 and level them all strictly through the Maw and Shadow Behemoth if you wanted. I don’t see why others should be punished for their hard work .
You guys probably never even tried the weapon swap glitch. It was a lot of fun to do when you were just hanging out in LA or something. It didn’t have any effect on gameplay, and removing it only made the people who liked to use it sad. The people who didn’t use it probably didn’t even know it existed, so why would it even bother them?
Not all glitches need to be fixed. There are sometimes happy accidents.

I disagree . If you port to a zone and end up in an overflow thats a risk you take when you know an event is happening there . its not like 3 or so silver is that hard to make

If you dont trust someone enough that you think they will kick you after putting them in a position to do so then dont put them in that position to begin with its that simple .
it doesn’t mean that what’s happening in the market cant hurt the economy no matter what its called .I fear the price of ectos will drop too sharply . As it stands now I’m all but guaranteed a rare at chest events and can hit them all day
Now that you can only loot event chests once per day, i was wondering if the lockout resets 24 hrs after you last looted a specific chest? Or does it reset at a specific time, if so when?
Its not 1 chest a day its 1 chest a day per character so as long as your characters have the area you should be good on getting the chests all day .

At least you admit your lazy that’s the first step to recovery after all. Getting to level 80 is a little time consuming but i would hardly consider it a grind . a grind was the Voltaic Spear Farm getting to 80 is cake in comparison

Salvage rares for ecto and sell like there’s no tomorrow . You can also take you chances on the unided dyes via the laurel vendor and hope you get lucky . There are also several events in Orr that have a good profit margin as well
Lots of people bypassed the trade channel in GW1 through inventive means so their trade spam was always in all chat
Cuts down on possible scams, most people would use it over the TP to avoid the fee , and of course cuts down on the unneeded spam in town and map chat
In GW2 raid=temple events in Orr. Guild missions are going to be coming . as for “guilds being more active using teamspeak” find one that does .
Quite frankly it sounds lazy cause it is . Its not like you need to port back to LA or Divinities Reach to grab money in the TP there are more than enough places in the open world. As far as bouncing around to alts , it takes a max of what a min to get on all of them and store the gold .
