crazy people are crazy, some of them also play games.
pretty much yea . Its just easier to blame a game than to actually look for a real reason .
this was the only reliable thing said in the article
“clinical psychologist Craig Prince said there was no evidence violent online games created killers.”
then they wouldn’t be exotic would they ?
sometimes i want to know what gear or weapons another player has
then ask . I’m more than happy to tell you what skin it is or where i got it if i remember. Inspection however is something I’ll pass on .
no because the ranger is a low tech class and the crossbow is a high tech weapon.
Urge to kill rising…………
gotta love Simpsons references
I would love to see both new armors and weapons that used GW1 skins
I could see this on Engineer Thief and Guardian as new 2 handed weapons .
I agree. Currency, gems, and laurels are all account bound…why not karma, too?
Because Karma by nature is a persons deeds whether good or bad . The Karma system is fine as it stands now .
Speaking of Legendaries wouldn’t raising the level cap make them obsolete since they are level 80 weapons?
Let me think about it…No.
I agree with weeklies and it should work the same way dailies will work soon a set of 9 or so objectives that you can pick between 5 to complete it . Perhaps for weeklies it should be more like 8 of 12 or be tiered since its a longer period though
Wow. Just wow. I wonder how the Jewish community feels about their religion being classified as a dirty word. That in and of itself is offensive. But I understand they have good intentions.
It’s not considered a “dirty” word by the filter. You can’t use a name that contains Christ or Mohammed for example either. It’s because if they did allow it, someone would be sure to make up some sort of inflammatory name. For business reasons, it’s better for ANet to cut such names off at the character creation screen. Even if it blocks perfectly innocent names like Jewel.
At least they allow names with the el ending that would be taking it too far if they barred those

Australia is a continent… South America is a continent… North america is a continent…
Earth is the world.Elona, Cantha and Kryta are continents. Tyria is the world.
I really don´t see your point here.
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Elona
Read this:
“Elona, often called the Land of the Golden Sun, is a continent that is found southeast of Tyria and northeast of Cantha and the Battle Isles.”http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Cantha
“Cantha is a continent in the world of Tyria that was first introduced in Guild Wars Factions”Like I said… CONTINENTS far apart. When you have a point please elighten me.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Tyria
Very first line "Tyria is a continent in the world of the same name. "
evolverzilla.2359 its Tyria not Kryta . Kryta is only one of the nations on the Tyrian continent
And? Where did i said Kryta instead of Tyria?
I don´t see your point here.
Then you should proof read your posts you called Kryta a continent and referred to Cantha Elona and Kryta so you made the same mistake twice in the same post.
evolverzilla.2359 its Tyria not Kryta . Kryta is only one of the nations on the Tyrian continent
Ive seen quite a few red and purple Sylvari
As much as i loved GW1 GW2 will always be more of an MMO because once you stepped outside a town in GW1 it was your own instance.
I don’t suppose it crossed anyone’s mind since this game isn’t a representation of earth. If it was, there wouldn’t be Asuran, Charr or Nord races in it.
Except that Elona Cantha and Tyria are distinctly African Asian and European
If you do the human storyline you’ll actually notice a few races at your and Minister Wi’s partys . The Canthan sector of Divinity’s Reach as i take it was taken out at last minute so we lost the Asian influence there . You will also find a mix of races around the city .
What bugs me is that the skin tone of the Krytans should actually be darker than it actually is as opposed to those in say the Ascaonian settlement or the Rurikton sector

Im a pretty casual player and ive got a fair amount of cash on hand simply by salvaging the yellows and selling the ecto i get from them .
What they should really do is raise the cost of T1 and 2 and add a 4th Tier . This would change the psychology of the way players look at the price of T3 cultural armor .
as i said earlier Sylvari are born fully grown therefore its impossible to implement lorewise
If i had to fathom a guess i would say Lime Ice either Pastel Lime or Pastel Mint and maybe Sprig or Mintay for the slightly darker colors . Those however are all guesses based on dyes ive played with in game on different armors
This is a nice to have not a need .
A lack of Giants is rather irritating considering the abundance of everything else on the slayer tracks . I am hoping when the Crystal Desert opens up the sand giants down there will count for this title though when it will open up is another question entirely .
I assume you mean the Laurel items cause Laurels HAVE to be earned in a day/month as they are a reward for dailies/monthies
Id rather just have the ability to watch my party members fight back since that was in GW1
They can’t do the dailies more easier then this except giving laurels for just logging in
Isn’t that the the laurel vendor daily?
From the sticky at the top of the forum:
“Please note that you should not expect a personalized, individual response to your suggestions, due to the massive volume of posts that the Suggestions sub-forum will generate.”
The truth is, there’s simply too much traffic on this forum for us to try and respond to everything.
While this may be true, I think I speak for many people who feel that the participation in all of the forums is way below par.
you’ve never visited an EA forum have you……
Sylvari are born fully grown /Endthread
Cultural armor is just a cosmetic skin that you apply over your own armor. So why make it so expensive and hard to obtain?
Because that is the point.
Just like Obsidian armor in GW1, which had no benefit over anything else and yet cost a fortune, because people either liked the skin a lot or used it to show off how much money they had.
Agreed . If you think about it Obsidian was more expensive than T3 too . The price of T3 is perfectly fine if anything they should raise the prices of T1 and T2
Its a valid complaint . Why shouldn’t we be able to watch the battle from another party members point of view after we’re dead? Face it if you get flung off a cliff and die or die at an odd angle/spot you could be twiddling your thumbs for a long time being bored in a tight battle . Sure its easy to say don’t die but even the best players die on occasion and with the new system long waits get very boring .

It’s the equivalent of FoW armor in GW1 and FoW was more expensive when you think about it so as far as I’m concerned the price is fine . I was able to raise 25 gold in a few days for exotic armor so if you really want to get it its not that hard and i dont bother playing the market either .
1 ) i disliked the trade spam and people always circumvented the trade channel making all chat annoying as heck so I’ll pass on the trade spam.
2 ) I’m kind of meh on voice chat I only really used it in Warbirds III and AH and that’s only because my squads didn’t have TS or Vent . I can see how it could be useful if implemented properly but its not really something I’m gonna cry over if we don’t get it .
3 ) it’s kind of assumed this will be coming out at some point it’s just not knows when or how
4 ) this is needed for guild management agreed .
5 ) i disagree with this downleveling is fine .
6 ) i really don’t WANT to know this , in fact it would frighten me .
Its the Norgu’s set
Dear Lyssa no . The last thing we need is ammo for ranged weapons . Do you really want to carry extra ammo in your inventory or find out that your engineer has run out of ammo in the middle of a dungeon or fractal run? Ammo systems have never and never will be fun .
I mean, they’re Legendary. They’re the most powerful weapons in the Guild Wars 2 Universe.
actually they are on par with exotics and what your asking is ludicrous
Have you checked the patch noted at all in the last month?
Heres a hint
“Dynamic Leveling
Attribute calculations for dynamic level scaling have been rebalanced. In general, this means weaker when adjusted down, stronger when adjusted up. Rewards when adjusted down have been increased to compensate. It is now possible to receive your own level of loot from any level of enemy.”
(edited by Adine.2184)
I usually tell people the best place to get the dodger daily is Jormag . Dodge sideways through the wall and the air attacks you’ll get at least 2 evades if not more per dodge and the air attack is super easy to dodge .
Count to 2 and dodge for the spikes 1 and dodge for the wall for anything else i its a red circle skedaddle
“Stop, drop and roll”
Isn’t that what we learned in school?
Just sayin’
(I hope I don’t get banned for this)
people also learned to duck and cover to survive a nuclear attack . just sayin…..
You make the false assumption the working man/woman cant get a legendary do to time constraints and they may not like to do dungeons . This is in fact a false assumption do to the trading post . The Gem/Gold ratio is far better than the other way around and being someone with a job you would easily be able to afford that legendary if you wanted to put real money into the game. This is of course your choice but keep in mind that having a legendary wont actually make your character any stronger as its simply a skin with a shiny effect (some not even that good ) .
Honestly the best way to get rid of beggars is to not react to them . to them the reaction is half the fun of it .
Lol it happened in GW1 if anyone remembers going to Random Arenas and seeing dancing naked females with the names “Tip me plz” and “Tips pls”. They exist in almost every MMO I’ve played..
I did this on my ele though it was more for reaction than for the money itself and i used a real name for her . She did have a back story for doing though . Her parents died during the searing when she was young ans she couldent get a job so this is the only way she had so make money .
You mean other than the fact Black Powder is not the power of nature?
Just tell them that you would like to help, but have no money to spare.
Mention the Claw of Jormag destroyed your home and you have a wife and two little kids to look after.
Ask them what is to become of you and your family.
Hitting them with RP on a non-RP realm usually has them quietly backing away.
Oh I’m sure . Although if i begged my Ele would beg in RP mode so that really wouldent work on her she’d just roll with the punches .
From the Wiki
“Rangers are flexible and durable—proficient with the bow, yet surgical with the sword. They rely on a keen eye, a steady hand, and the power of nature to slay their targets.”
as i said before a Ranger would shun technology such as back powder as its not something close to nature .
I disagree. When I think of the Ranger I think of a class close to nature that would want nothing to do with inventions such as black powder .
For the record Caromi is the tribe Tengu is the race . Avicara would be another example of a Tengu tribe but they were in the Shiverpeaks .

Sparkfly Fen, the Frog village in the center of the map… done. Easiest daily “chore” other than visit a laurel vendor.
.
OMG that Laurel vendor one is SO TEDIOUS isn’t it? I say keep the healer daily
