I would expect a repeat offender to get banned yes. Even the most careful of guilds could be deceived into giving an individual access who doesn’t deserve it
you can always go the gold/gems route
Did i like playing my rit sure it was fun but do i miss it no . As for bringing them back i dont see it happening anytime soon .
1 ) it was strictly a Canthan class
2 ) there is still a lot of tyria to be opened up
3 ) many of its mechanics have been moved to other classes
4 ) not only has Cantha gone isolationist again but the DSD kinda creates an issue too .
People keep spamming sale offers on chat. This often leads to scamming on one, or presumably in some cases, both sides, and is annoying to everyone else. A commonly offered reason for this is because the listing fee for an item on the TP is a fraction of the final sale price, so if you get a really good item, one you know sells regularly for over 100 gold, the listing fee might be well more than you own.
So store the item until you have the money to list it . If you get scammed using the mail system its no ones fault but your own .
Ive never had a clone/phantasm not attack my target , I mean sure when i shatter them i may aggro a non hostile or it may spin through my target and aggro a non hostile but they were still attacking my target from the start .
Confusion is best described as the replacement for hexes such as Empathy or Backfire from GW1 . It puts you in a position where you have to decide weather it better to back off perhaps taking a few hits in the process or to take the damage from Confusion by attacking and hoping you can heal through it .
While im sorry the OP missed the last ship out of Sanctum Cay today maybe you can catch it s tomorrow they always have goodie bags
If your asking if its worth it to switch from Rare to Exotic then Yes it is
There is probability. Almost everything in universe is based on probability if you consider quantum physics.
Probably but until i can make heads or tails of that im sticking to good ol’ fashioned superstition and luck
Im not sure those pictures help your point…… Im going to back away slowly now ( bolts for the exit )
Heroes killed gw1. You ask fora party and the common response was get better heroes. In addition outside of dungeons this game faceroll easy to solo. So i’m completely against them
Agreed …..Henchmen on the other hand would have you begging for real people so add them all you want
Im just gonna cut and paste what i said in another thread on the topic
If we’re going to have this discussion honestly then lets . Is guesting part of the problem yes but there are other things as well.
1 ) The introduction of bounties . You may not think about it all that often but if a guild triggers a bounty and gets one in an event zone there could be a swarm from 1 guild at the other end of Frostgorge or Sparkly right before or as a dragon pops .
2 ) Map population reduction. Its my understanding that the population allowed per map has been reduced. This of course will cause more frequent overflow
3 ) Guaranteed rares . Do you honestly think that only the guesting population is increasing the event mobs? Have you ever thought that since you are guaranteed a rare or better that people on your own server might be hitting the chests that didn’t bother before?
Now discuss
As big a fan as i am of games like The Sims where you create a family and all that i don’t think adding such elements to GW would work . Besides I know at least in the Human story-line there’s a line of quests involving what happened to your sisters unit so i cant see this happening .
You need to map all 3 borderlands and EB for map completion and your complaining about the badges………
The fact is if you want to to get a legendary your gonna have to work for it and that means doing things you may not like to do
it seems like one of those things that would of had to of been considered and developed pre-release.
As a GW1 player who doesn’t miss it im emphatically not signing . I might also say how dare you try to be a spokesperson for all GW1 players .
It would be pretty humiliating for your PvP opponents if they turn to flee but find that a turtle is somehow keeping pace with them and nipping at their heels.
Not if it was a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle . I would definitely have to name mine Leonardo .
so you’re saying rares are rare in fractals. How shocking .
well of course . They are made time efficient though because you will always have a reliable group and timers are more oft than not correct
you do know ArenaNet IS a company right? I’d rather be treated like a customer. A friend doesn’t always treat you nicely but a company will always try to make a customer happy so they get repeat business .
The reason why guests don’t do temples is simple . The timers are always off and you cant rely on a group showing up .
the per account idea has been one of the more viable ( if not more resisted ) ideas floated out there so im somewhat open to it .
it
1) Would reduces rares and ectos making them mor valuable again
2 ) Would reduce the amount of overflows
however some of the cons are
3 ) it would reduce the number of temples open at any given time on a server ( no chest = no incentive for alot of people )
4 ) reduced numbers at an event inevitably means its going to take more time which not everyone has a lot of .
Im not really opposed to the per account thing but i can see how it might have a negative effect .

Transmutation stones, amirite?
Yup, spot on.
@Deimos ;
The system you are refering to was added late to GW1 life. There were people in high end armors that were “locked in” to stats and builds of previous versions of the game and had to be catered for. Hence the prefix switching in Nightfall and EotN.Its one extra step in GW2 for the same effect. With it tied to mutation stones it gives the gem store a product it can sell to satisfy those that want it. That combined with the player getting basic ones as rewards for map exploration and sometimes fine ones as BL chest items, everyone is catered for.
You can change prefixes at will using mutation stones. So the game already has this feature as standard.
yes, but it requires the usage of expensive fine transmutation stones. this was not the case in guild wars 1.
some people (like myself) will just avoid doing so all together.
only the fine ones are "expensive " and even those can be gotten as dayly/chest rewards or even convert gold to gems to get them
The low level chest events and pre events need buffed for sure . SB and Maw are the worst offenders . Maw especcaly as he dies in a min of the last portal going down and ive seen some people leave things such as turrets by him just to get a hit in
Earlier tonight, someone in Queensdale asked what Behemoth was. Of course, I gave them the info: “Behemoth” was the name of the big celebrity chef cook-off!
Ahem… In announcer voice
Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s the time you’ve all been waiting for! Welcome to BEHEMOTH! Only the biggest and baddest Celebrity Chef Cook-Off this side of Lion’s Arch.
Who will win tonight’s big prize? Will it be three-time champion Logan Thackery with his famous Karka Cakes? Will Eir Stegalkin’s Bison Brisket Surprise cause our judges to marvel at the surprise of it all? Or maybe underdog Trehearne will blow the competition away with his Lemon Pepper Orian Chicken! You’ll have to stay tuned to find out!
Also on the program tonight is a special appearance by Zojia, who along with Mr. Sparkles will dazzle us with new confectionery creations!
And don’t miss a special guest appearance by Mrs. Lionguard Lyns herself! Will she upset the competition and take it to a whole new level? Stay tuned to BEHEMOTH for all the action!

The NPCs lost their items during their travels from X to Y, which is basically somewhere inbetween the zone portals and the city. Some were attacked, which basically means they ran off the direct path you would normally take. It is also mentioned that some don’t follow the road and instead cut across.
Unfortunately for ANet its not as fun as going back across the scenes in Where’s Waldo to find everything in the check lists after you’ve found Waldo . If we had alot more items or things to do it would make it more interesting .
What I feel Anet has done wrong with end game armour, is have only limited sets to choose from, unlike Elite armour in GW1.
Im not quite sure where you get this . When Guild Wars 1 came out you had a total of 5 Elite armors to choose from and the look of them as you may remember was limited by class ( and determined some of your stats till a much later update ) . You had 2 in citadel 2 in grotto and 1 of course in FoW . At the very least GW 2 matches this with orders armors named exotics and of course the 3 Cultural armors never mind dungeon. If anything GW2 is more diverse . Cultural is fine the way it is
I am buying your soul, just 6 gold
Too late i sold it to ANet years ago when GW 1 came out
What good is a riding outfit without a crop?
What good is a crop, if there is no mount to use it on…
Eating .
I agree with you 100%
It took GW 1 a while to get its sea legs so theres no reason not to expect the same for GW 2 .
well from a skill synchronicity standpoint Asuran Mesmer would be the way to go .
Yea actually you DO have a choice and the new dailies although they spread you out dont really force you to waypoint at least not thats any significant cost .
why are you spending 4 silver to waypoint to begin with ? I havent spent that much in on a waypoint in Lyssa knows how many months on my 80s. Waypoint fees are a nessesity so stop the griping people and figure out how to make up the cost, how to spend less on your waypoints or better yet how not to hit overflow to begin with
I’d hardly call myself rich , most gold i make gets burned after its made stating up the 80s i have . However its not exactly hard to make back the silver i used to hop to a place and I rarely spend 4 silver to go anywhere. Repairs are my biggest cost not waypoints and that’s only because i wait till most of its damaged or 1 beaks before i repair .
why wouldn’t it ? one is a sigil and one is a rune
The only job of a waypoint is to get you from point a to point B overflow or not and thats exactly what it does . its not like you cant make back the cost in 2 seconds anyway or that events wont spawn in an overflow . Take a chill pill and fins somthing to do there like kill
Actually those bus rides are incredibly cheap . Sounds like you’re just lookin for somthin to complain about to me .
I don’t know what your on but i want some . This is never gonna happen , it would be like removing clones from Mesmers or pets from Rangers .
All a samurai was was the Japanese version of the knight and we already have a warrior so i dont see this happening. On top of that the whole seppuku mode thing makes no sense seppuku was ritual suicide . The other issues such as PvP locking it have already been covered so i wont go into that .
i will put this simply you can go look it up, top exotic weapon damage is 904-1000, while legendary’s have a base damage of 980-1083 thus higher base damage. also the stat boost is slightly higher 98,70,70 opposed to 90,64,64.
You must have looked up different types of legendary and exotic weapons (like sword to greatsword) or something, because if you look at two of the same weapon side by side (like kudzu and the Pearl Stinger) exotic and the legendary have the same stats and strength.
this was for short bow specific
Oh well in THAT case
Legendary
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Dreamer
Exotic
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Trosa%27s_Short_Bow
Show me the difference in damage
This comes from the fact that the legendary’s have a base weapon strength 80 higher than exotics.
Legendary

Exotic
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Khrysaor,_the_Golden_Sword
I don’t see the difference in damage
it already is separate from being in combat . if it weren’t your armor would break when you died from falling damage .
Played GW1 since the beginning and I like GW 2 so please dont broadly assume things about GW 1 players . Oh and many things you said about GW 1 is actually wrong .
A:No we have waypoints.
I prefer being forced to make choices on how to build my class
If your level 24 and go into frost gorge you will still be level 24 and mor than likely get stomped even if it is easy to run to the Earthshake Waypoint for Claw of Jormag.
