If i had to sum it up in one word it would be variety. Both in skills and in armors
What i really want to make a come back however is Profession based armors though . Weight based is all well and good but it would still be nice to have some really distinctive armors for each class where you could say “thats an Engineer” or " thats a Mesmer" just by looking at them.
no it doesent . if it has 5K posts chances are they’ve seen it and have at the very least discussed it . there is no reason for them to actually post in a thread .
I agree that doing dailies is becoming too much of a chore. I think they should cap the number of points you can get at 10 per day. This way, we would still have some freedom to only do the things we enjoy.
The only thing stopping you from doing the things you enjoy is you. If you feel you must do every single daily that’s on you not the devs the system is perfectly fine the way it is
Ice vs sapphires
Krakenn Eyes Vs rubies
ah yes the good old days when scams ran rampant .
The trading post works fine fees and all. If your using the mail to avoid the fees and get scammed that’s the risk you take plain and simple.
I call it the tactician
A Heavy class that “attunes” itself to either offense or defensive roles. Its class mechanic would be to have an offensive and defensive attunement that would switch weapon skills based on it . It would have a medium base health and have the following weapons
Main hand
Sword,Axe,
Off hand
Dagger,Shield,Sword,Mace
2 hand
Longbow,Hammer
An example of offensive vs defensive attunements might be
Sword Dagger offense grants a chance at poisoning a foe on dagger strikes and is purely offensive where as Sword Dagger defense grants a chance at stability every so many seconds and has more block/evade skills
and thats the Truth
42 .
Theres already a precedent for ANet doing just this . Although i would rather they not have done it the first time there is at least some hope that you’ll get your goodies
A lot of things are needed in Guild Wars 2 . This is not one of them
Add me as Adine Kara
Same goes though im usually found in GW 2
Greatsword Mesmer is awesome but tends to be a slow leveler at first . At least it felt that way for me .
As has been mentioned the Engineer is another good ranged class but has a very unique feel to it that not everyone can get into .
As long as Dueling is kept to an arena setting im fine with it but no open world dueling.
I personally actually like not having inspect, it makes it feel less critical to check your party members and their gear, and makes you more likely to trust them.
I didn’t mean to put inspect for that reason, that is something else and in this game its not really that important for dungeons that are lower than lvl 80.And since nobody can kick you from WvW or some events..Reason is up and you can read it again
but thats how it would be used and you would be naive to think otherwise . Also just because WoW has it doesnt mean all MMOs should have it . Thats flawed logic

Id rather see Asura Punting
I’ll be willing to help ya with some stuff sure but im pretty rusty
IIf a new class is seen i would suggest somthing a long the lines of
a class that would use offensive and defensive skill sets per weapon set up kind of like attunements . each set up would also grant the chance at boon or to inflict a condition depending on your set up.
Weapons would be as follows
Main
Sword,Axe,Longbow,Hammer
Offhand
Dagger,Shield,Sword,Mace
A possible example might be
Sword Dagger offense mode grants a chance at poisoning a foe on dagger strikes and is purely offensive where as Sword Dagger defense mode grants a chance at stability every so many seconds and has more block/evade skills
This would give the class a unique mechanic and weapon set that neither Heavy has nor does it trample on either of their strengths
One problem . they relied on the power of the 5 gods for their strength . That would clearly create issues with the other races .
Guardian .
Profession armors
More Emotes
Killing off all Charr
I’d love crossbows . I could see them on Engies and Thief for sure
No you cant link your GW1 account to 2 accounts .As far as unlinking i dont know but i highly doubt it that just seems way too abusable .
I’ll pass on inspect. never liked it never will .
More armor models and Profession armors i agree with( including back piece ) . I would even suggest that Profession based armors be spread out at vendors across the world and depending on where the vendor is it would have a different look .So for example Krytan armors for professions would look different than say a vendor located in the Shiverpeaks
More craftable armors? Agreed, I would change the craftable exotic for each level to a different skin since right now it seems to all be the same
Yes because making classes less unique is a good thing….
Need is too strong a word in my opinion. Sure it would be nice but i expect more areas to be added through living story over time such as the Crystal Desert, RoF , Maguma Wastes, EoTN maybe even the Isle of Janthir . These will of course take time so one shouldn’t expect them any time soon but i do expect at least a few to open up at some point .
Pretty sure the team that works on the living story isn’t the same one knocking out bugs
On a side note using all caps as a header could get it deleted
I wasn’t even counting temple runs mostly do to the fact you have to get lucky on if people are doing them when you’re there they are the easiest of all to join in on though
There’s already a 30 something page on the topic. ArenaNet knows we want Cantha. I’m sure it’s just a matter of time. They need to flesh out Tyria first.
Flesh out Tyria? Please expand. Do you mean fill the gap between them implementing a Canthan zone and now?
They haven’t opened up RoF or the Crystal Desert ( i want revenge for Glint ) so until they do that I can wait on Cantha
The Easiest to join in on would be Jormag, Shatterer, and Teqatl as they die the slowest and even at that Teqatl goes down pretty fast .
I can understand where the OP is coming from. Being a GW1 player I have access to certain skins that others don’t so why shouldn’t beta players have something since there is already a precedent for it ?
Why not Adine,
Dueling=PvP=PvP zone
Open World=PvE=Not in the mood for or dont care PvP
Like i said i mind dueling in and of itself as long as its kept in a PvP zone . heck even give the dueling area observer mode so people can watch fights like a Colosseum
As long as its restricted to a PvP area I’m fine with it but no open world dueling.
You should read the trilogy that have come out . As for in game stuff its all over the place in Ebonhawke , Divinities Reach, the different orders HQs , and Orr just to name a few places .
Roll a greatsword Mesmer then
Guardians actually have less base health but have an all around more defensive skill set .
It is better not to use curse words than to rely on someone using a filter .
Well characters do get birthday presents so there’s that .
the longer you’ve played the more titles you’ll have and they’ll always be more coming out ( and rare event ones )
As for actually displaying the age I’ll pass there’s no real need .
I never thought I’d see the day when people asked for DR.
the rifle having shorter range than a bow is really ridiculous.
Kentucky Long rifle effective range with experience? 200 yards.English Long Bow effective range with experience? 400 yards .
As far as the whole marksman class flesh it out more with traits ,skills other weapons, utility skills etc then i’ll get back to ya on it
As i recall that would lead to Ettins Back and Bloodstone Fen would it not? RoF is to the south
If your going to give examples how about these

I doubt there will be one any time soon . I do expect one for the Crystal desert at some point as there does seem to be an Asura Gate for it
My guess is the second tree is in the Echovald Forest in Cantha. Although i wouldn’t mind seeing living story stuff for Sylvari I WANT REVENGE FOR GLINT!!!!!!!! Besides there seems to already be a portal to the crystal desert but just not open
this culling on steroids is almost as bad as ARod….almost.
Supporting something against the TOS is a good way to get banned . Griefing should never be endorsed much less endorsed as a way to improve the game .
As for the itemization that’s not a bad thing in my eyes . Guild Wars has always had more of a skin based economy anyway.
As far as bragging rights we can leave that to titles, achievement points, minis and skins people worked hard to get ( yes im counting GWAMM ).
Ok on to dragons . I agree there should be a chance to fail . I would take it a step further actually and have a zone wide effect if you fail depending on the area. Maybe in Spark Fly it would set off a series of events starting in the north end and ending back where Tequatl spawns . Since Teqatl won however there are more risen on the map and poison on the map you have to deal with in the immediate zones around Teqatl and the zone he’s in. This not only is a fail state but one with rather annoying consequences .
Engineer would be very fitting for the charr
As for names some from their history were
Bonfazz Burntfur
Pyre Fierceshot
Seer Fiercereign
Cowl Fiercetongue
Roan Fierceheart
Bonwor Fierceblade
Gron Fierceclaw
Swift Fiercejustice
Some Charr boss names from GW 1
Drub Gorefang
Blaze Bloodbane
Elmohr Snowmender
Rrrack Whitefire
Scaar Sternclaw
Smoke Kindlefist
Tyndir Flamecaller
In part to remove gold from the economy if people feel they need to retrait .Its not like the majority of items are soulbound until they are used anyway so big whoop there.
Players should be able to complete all PvE dailies in the same zone.
Lol? Says who?
lazy people apparently .
Maybe I want more player in higher level zones. So there are events to play in.
that’s perfectly fine but there are a lot of high level zones out there . Staying in one zone however is lazy.
Players should be able to complete all PvE dailies in the same zone.
Lol? Says who?
lazy people apparently .
Still i doubt they have the numbers to back up the statement . Who knows how many players playing GW2 played GW1
