they do have world boss events but the timer isn’t always going to be in sync with the server you came from

I dont know i like the blue gold combo on that armor . I might try that on my guardian since i somehow got a makeover kit ( didn’t buy it ) . I agree however that the glow can be a little limiting on color choice and that an on/off switch would be nice

I see no reason not to have a guild name change that can be once per guild . The thing is though when forming a guild the name is vital so you want one that you’re not going to tire of or that will get out dated so you need to picky .

I dont really miss guild halls from GW1 but they would be nice to have back at some point .
As for the Guild Halls shouldn’t be instanced argument virtually all of GW 1 was instanced and it worked fine .
Although i dont like how it turned out either you may as well take the when in Rome theory of things and join in .
I have never understood why fishing was in any rpg or mmo. First I encountered it was in a Korean game. So I thought it an Asian quirk.
I would ignore fishing probably. All implementations I know so far are mindless and dumb. Even killing white critters is more interesting.
to be fair RunEscape was the first rpg i ever saw it in. The thing is theres no reason for it in GW not even crafting . I guess they could add some sort of mini game involving it but not as a main feature
Could you be more specific ? Saying something doesn’t look cool won’t give them much to work with. WHY doesn’t it look cool? Is it because most medium armors are trench coats and cowboy hats? If so ask for medium armors that dont have that look . Oh and you may want to rethink your thief looks like a ranger argument as it doesnt hold up
fix the armor sure but the only thing the char need is a good genocide to wipe them out . Never liked em never will.

all classes have s a speed buff of some sort its just that some just plain suck
Armor skins are harder to make than weapon skins . I agree though new armor sets would be great . I want the return of Profession armors . Maybe give us one or 2 look per area ( kryta , ascalon etc ) at vendors . So a vendor at Ascalon settlement would have a different look than one at Granite Citadel or Butchers Block or even at Yaks Bend .

Iim in the if a precursor drops then i’ll consider going for a legendary camp.
Think of it like a D&D ranger which is just as ( if not more ) adept at melee combat as it is at ranged .
Personally i look at the ranger as a class that would thumb their nose at black powder weapons seeing as bows were more deadly and more accurate at range .
If anything needs more weapons its the engineer

I find this odd too . i had 2/4 and now have 0/4 which is somewhat upsetting
theres no need for mounts . Not only are there waypoints but virtually all classes have a viable speed buff
made me jump when i opened the first one . I think im going to save the rest for when i dungeon when i know i cant win a fight and need to "get out of combat " so the party can rez .

Yeah, I agree. The short story about Scarlet made her sound actually dark and menacing. In-game she’s closer to a Disney villain.
If you take a close look at Disney villains they are actually pretty frikin dark . the Imagery used in lion king for the song be prepared mimicked WWII german propaganda films, Cruella De Ville wanted to make cloths out of puppies and Maleficent ( darkest of all ) sought revenge for being snubbed from a party essentially .
My guess is that they are from a rival tier 1 server and they are sabotaging Blackgate.
ive seen this kind of thing done on my server and they are indeed sabotaging you . what you need to do is catch them bragging about it and report them .
Go Mesmer . Its a slow leveler at first but once you get going its a great class

Its only the biased people from games like WoW, Aion and Co. from games with terrible implemented mount systems, which made bad experiences in those kinds of games, where the game developers gave a kitten about, if that feature destroys the game balance, as long as it makes fun for many players and keeps them playing the game for as longas possible..
So many people are way too much biased against mounts, cause of their bad experiences from crap games like WoW, Aion & Co which truly totally ruined the feature for making just only pure profit out of it with their players, because alot of people are just fearing only, if Anet could ever bring Mounts, that their system could just end up like the so feared mount systems from those other stupid games.
I can naturally understand, that people don’t want that ANet should repeat specific mistakes from other games. I don’t want that too.
But I am at least open minded enough for any kind of new feature that has potential for becoming something real great, to give Anet at least the CHANCE to proof, that they are able to do better, than any other MMO before them.Waypoint Travel has neither no style, nor is it prestigeous, its just plain CHEAP!!
Ive never had an issue with mounts in other games but they simply arn’t needed here. Bar mesmer every class has at least one decent speed buff for shorter distances and the waypoint system for long ones . Weather or not the waypoint system has style is irrelevant to the conversation as its still a means of getting from point A to point B faster. Besides are you REALLY going to ride a mount from Queensdale to Timberline Falls if you had the choice of waypointing there instead? Of course not .
