That mean Anet wont sell finishers for WvW player…, also being stomped in gw2 its a feacture, players need to check if will rez up downed allies or kill hostile target part of the strategies of the game.
I find pvd(iojing ^.^) reinforced doors in a matter of seconds way more problematic.

It’s because of wvw tournament. Guilds are mass-transferring to other servers.
Not really, i ’ve seen some guilds with 100 to 300 members and just 10-30max play the game.
High population means the value of accounts registered on that server, it can be the most ghost town but still as high population.
It’s so sad to see all the ignorants who post without reading even first page. It’s been stated multiple times that server caps have been raised and argumented by sale, sudden change of status, and status depending on account bound to server, not their activity.

GW2 is quite the oposite of that, its the same of the other games pretending its defirent by call stuff other names, and thats the game problem way to much placebos instead of be adaptive and add more mechanics with LS system.

Guardians are dammn strong if run in a pack.
less powerfull alone, but way more powerfull on group while most classes are the oposite.
Well i agree trinity is bad, but having instagib pvp mechanics and one gear towards pve that make other gear ignored is a bad design to.

Its purely meant as a cash grab. It doesnt do anything good for the community and competetion in general.
Except that they gave away free transfers, and charged more money to go to higher servers in an attempt to discourage transferring there.
And, from looking at HoD, I think most of the transfers were free ones. Plus, it looks like NSP got a few as well.
The players we have are mostly the same tags and same names as everyday, if u fight with us in a few months will be the same players also.
I imagine the numbers of gain equals the number of losses some went to HoD to.
We might had one or two small guilds, not entirely sure but must be a small number.

Something like how GW1 was able to somehow do 16 different guild hall maps for GvG?
Imagine that on a much grander scale for WvW!
Could have Pros/Cons for each world map or put it on a rotation with lower rank servers having a slight advantage & higher ranked servers having to fight a little harder to stay on top.

Imagine there was a voting system where guilds could be elected for a political council system on each server, where guilds/groups could select or vote for the borderland model.
Guilds also could try to be elected to admin the keeps.
Guild could select the design of several camp’s towers etc by guild rank
Would have a better community, lower server could try to get more players from top servers to create more guilds due pseudo sandbox model and maintainance of the map and server BL would not reset.
A.Net sold the game as a game builted by the community and IMO making player taking care of their server and their Tyria, while Anet could expand those option would be a very good game model.
All i see are the placebo updates.
No it’s just when does skill matter in WvW? it doesn’t.. it’s purely #’s…. why?
That makes me think, on wvw just need to play certain classes with a certain build and press 1, its the zergfest of copy pasta builds.
@OP WvW is all about numbers, and that is what makes some servers stronger than another and makes WvW what it is, not allowing players to play if their server has the power to output big numbers is not good also, it is as bad as have 1 mega blob in each side.

What i realy want to see is a sandbox mode. We place and build towers, supplys etc
u wish… game engine not compatible with that stuff (gw1 fork), gw2 is almost a pure tablet game to be played on PC , be happy to have skin fest.
P.S there are sandbox mmos arriving europe and usa.

The dueling classes are mesmer/thief and engi if you play on a closed field like spvp. And no they dont need to be nerfed, being strong in 1v1 dosent mean they are broken.
Guardian has the best team support in the game, does it need to be nerfed to match the thief support? No

I guess WvW isnt what any player wanted, or turned to be a very messy system in terms of design and changes, for some reason “most pro” guilds from gw1 already left.
Its hard and takes time to develop a good solution to make wvw a better game mode, they are testing the megablob server even that they need to create faction(to maintain server/guild pride) and a new map/continent for wvw, but like u said, “World vs World is a difficult ever changing environment”.

With the mega server update being released for PvE server balance, this change to WvW would relieve even more stress on servers as there would be no need/desire for a single server to be overpopulated as Blackgate is. Also, no one server would then dominate over the other, creating a happier gaming experience for all.Essentially, this would be like combining the EotM gameplay with the server guesting system and megaserver matching system.
That would result on a full stacked server VS full stacked server wich IMO would be a kill for WVW .
I’d be all for making GS more worth using in combat, at the cost of reducing its mobility.

I don’t see why it should be buffed with its mobility being so good.
Also burst damage, “if well placed and timed” will almost down any other classes and instantly down most light gear zerkers, i cant find any problem with warrior greatsword.
Let me give you an example: when playing my high hp and armor Guard, when i find myself rooted a well placed 100b heat up 70-80% of my health with protection boon on, so it means its burst its fully working with excelent mobility.
I would dare to say 2h sword have to much damage for its mobility, but i imagine ferocity will balance more this weapon in terms of damage vs mobility reward.

vs 1 thief whenever he was downed recovered from auto state about 2, 3 times, proly tag mobs from all arround the map, and i just had a bad luck momment.

Pretty much agree with OP, game feels dead and LW/LS feels disconected, overflow system helps that disconection, in my opinion is not helping how most of players can feel the Tyria "alive ", zergling(1 key spam) events and lure for a reward do not feel confortable gameplay, reason why i stoped pve.
One thing that i’ve said many times are the lack of mechanic improvements but that is for the whole game, not only PVE side, i can imagine housing system as the OP said, there could be also a system of guild points as ranking guilds at eyes of a certain Tyria faction or city wich allow to get a better hall/house or in a richier zone.
Also GvG are easier to be introduced in LW/LS, i can see Queen Salma err... Jena opening the games on the distric where scarlet apeared on DR, it was funny to see players fighthing mobs on that map same system could be aplyed for old GvG style while other players room freely and observe the matches.

10-30 players fighthing a queued and stacked server , its not a mater of quit and i doubt CD has quited to, just theres no point of defend, just need to cap fast or when mega red blob isnt on map becouse with low number of players on the field gets harder to take a keep from a queued and stacked group, that melts a reinforced door in few seconds by pvd (just making a litle critic to game wvw mechanics and values).
It was requested, even though I don’t have a screenshot, for queue numbers on reset night. On HoD, we had 220 for EB, and a little over 100 for each borderland.

You do know that with the current state one ele lavafront is able to deal 7k to 15k DPS, yes damage per second.

Full zerk ele with maxdps dungeon setup and 25 stacks of might will do a lucky 6k lava font crit on another ele without gear and traits. Considering around 80% of WvW players play heavy classes amd the average armor for a player is around 2.8k the best you can do is 2k per second per target which is 10k AoE dps if you get 5/5 crits. Considering random aegis, protection and evades 15k is not possible. And then ofc your ele will die from 3 guardian staff autos.
On 3.7k armor some eles do 2k -5k(max i noticed was ~7.3k meteor ) per hit on me while on wall.
After checking them out, they are either:
a) garbage
b) in the wrong trait line
c) should of been passive (300vit added to base hp)
Or at least placed on grand master passive instead “plus damage on low vigor”.
I play on HoD and welcome more active wvw servers. More bags for us.
As a NSP player if u guys find servers with same coverage of yours, i dont think u will win that much, but i imagine hod on top 5/6

Altruistic healing does scale with healing power. This build editor knows it and I know it,
Nice build, except you can take out clerics and do much better with less healing power. Which makes no sense right? All it serves is to cripple you with you turning into a mobile buffing turret. You are going to hold the majority of the aggro (toughness, lol), and can only hold yourself up as long as you aren’t being steamrolled by mobs (or players in wvw).
Really. Healing power was intentionally made so bad that you could have all the same traits, weapons, and utilities and do better in full zerker.
Pretty much this^, players are mislieded with “placebo” builds and their pseudo efectivness since not all armor stats work or perform well.
Note: players who invest that kitten Healing power should be rewarded for the massive stat sacrifice.

Since every class is getting overbufs over time compared with guardian that even got nerfed on the frist months, and Anet is suposed to nerf boon duration (for what players talk in forum) they could overbuff AH to, since the 3k health isnt passive stats.
Guardian should be the class that makes better use of healing power for personal use (due low health) and have beter surviabillity to protec allies.
All we have is hammer 1 spam and 2 for waterfield. GG

Indeed only positive update was the 3k trait, even that it wont change much, guardian gameplay is all messed up, might change to warrior or elementalist.
The new traits do not worth invstement imo, hammer build with 2h sword for control and aoe will be always better than other weapon skills, hammergaed train will be even worse and more effective due low boon effect they are planning.

Can’t complain after tonight. Some solid oceanic guild transfers on NSP now providing good coverage. Very happy to be having fun again. NSP is going places (and not being flooded with zerker pve karma train passengers).

I dont play ranger but would make sense to increase ranger lonbow range and a option drop pet more like gw1.
What version of WvW are you guys playing that conditions are good? In my version of WvW there are 20-30 AOE cleanses per second. I don’t think i’ve ever managed to even get 3 stacks of bleed on someone for longer than 2 seconds. Conditions are SO bad in WvW that you would literally be better off not attacking at all because many times the conditions get converted into boons…

Hammer train is being abused like the guardian blob was at gw2 realease time, and guardians got nerfed and never got a decent buf after that.
The thing that disturb me now is AOE attacks have no limit what so ever were it can hit and then Siege they set limit on so aoe attacks can hit were ever you place a AC, Cat, Treb, Balista. So simple remove Towers, keeps they have no purpose now.
Yet that is impossible to rework, since would put server on heavy load plus lag the game.
I don’t think it’s end of the world but I don’t see a reason to placate the lowest common denominator either. Perhaps you don’t mind being told how to play because you can’t handle the stress of making gearing choices but if that’s the case, the change won’t incentive you to stack runes anyways.
This isn’t the same as bugged PoV. It’s a change that assumes we are all idiots because runes are so complex and we need Big Daddy Anet to hold our hand and tell us what to do.
Think you’re stretching. It’s probably just cleaner game design. There’s a certain flavour to putting 6 alike runes together for greater synergy as opposed to what do monks, water, and travelers have in common?
If they are fixing that and creating several boon duration runes, im all for it also gives more diversity.
If that happens we have guardian overflow, IMO Anet likes to control the classes population, thats why they overbuff some classes.

Raw hp is meaningless, especially after already putting 30 points into Honour and already having +3000 hp.
Real survivability comes from healing, condition removal, protection and dodging.
you already have those atributes on guardian, well sort off, all i imagine this +health is like a HP buffer, this is like one of the known updates we know they might have other new traits at realease.
I imagine alot of guardians that use 30 pts on honor will have it.
