Fractals based on LS1 events have been requested by players. If you don’t like it then you don’t have to play it.

I’ve also asked for that but not Tower of Nightmare because it was the worst part out of all old stuff, in my opinion.

It’s fine that there is a new fractal, finally! But after Chaos again no real new stuff so it is not illegitimate to ask for what they are doing the whole time and why there hasn’t been any extraordinary new fractal when raids and LS3 are delivering.

Lazarus killed of a bunch of Caudacus’ sumpathysants, but they’re not out of the field yet. Caudacus fled with his elite, and propably a pretty big troupe somewhere else. Lazarus will (I think) try to unite these two groups under his banner, and will also propably kill off those who continue to defect him. This is all speculation though.

He burnt all those at the colleseum because they were all Caudacus’ sympathysants.

In short for your question, There are two groups now, one loyal to Caudacus and one loyal to Lazarus (or the mursaat in general). How these two will collide in the future is all speculation. But tensions are high.

Starting to seriously doubt we’re getting Ep. 3 this year. The “likely” time I stated earlier in the thread has basically come and gone (was thinking mid-November at the latest, and given the lack of teaser I think we can safely say its not coming this week). Thanksgiving “officially” starts the holiday season and we won’t get another patch before that. And with that comes busier schedules for Anet employees as well as vacations. Which makes getting a major release which would probably require at least a good week of bug fixes increasingly unlikely. Even if they released the content within the first week of December, that would still take them halfway through the month once you consider the inevitable fixes that would be needed, and that’s cutting it awfully close.

Calm down, they still have till december 20 to stay on their 2-3 month schedule. Lets judge after then, shall we.

It’s not only accessible to people with linked Guild Wars 1 accounts. Any player in this game can go there by getting a portal stone from one of the 2 vendors in game that have free portal stones. (See post above) The stone will port you to the HoM building. It will be empty of the ranger pets and Kimmes won’t sell accounts without points anything but all the NPCs will be in there.

even though its a trollpost, I want to clarify that the mystic coin issue is not with the legendaries, but rather, the many collections that are affected by it. Mystic weapons are one example, needed for the specialization collections.

Right now, they’re at a price I can manage, but if it climbs any higher I can see why people think crafting with them becomes impossible

So this evening we were doing the pylons.
It was a big an active map with 3 commanders, we were focussing on the Eastwatch because we wanted the Primetooth. So we went through all the effort of fixing the east pylon. Then we got the Primetooth down to 10% and.. suddely.. loading screen.. what?

over 100 people got thrown out and spread out over several other maps.
And what world is this even acceptable? This kind of thing is gamebreaking and needs to be fixed ASAP! over an hour of work thrown down the drain because an ACTIVE POPULATED MAP closed!!

Posting on another topic, an asura of mine, I just noticed all other asura pictures had full set of teeth, but mine only had 2 center teeth, missing one on both sides, and then continuing the teeth.

Is this normal?

Firstly I’m not sure what you mean by “stakeholder share”, the tooth is an object, it can’t be a stakeholder in anything.
Secondly the norn legend that it will be time to fight Jormag when someone breaks the tooth is just that – a legend. (And possibly a way to discourage overconfident young norn from marching off to find the dragon.) There’s no reason to think it has any basis in fact. We didn’t need any sign that it was time to go after Zhaitan and Mordremoth except for deciding we were ready.
The tooth could be a good way to test any weapons we plan to use against the dragon, but apart from upsetting some norn I don’t think it would be a big problem if we ended up fighting the dragon without someone breaking it.

I meant that as a plot device, or story object. I know the legend says that breaking it is a means to start the war with Jormag. But right now Jormag is being pushed into the picture, so I’m urging anet not to forget about this.
Also, it’s a body part directly of a live elder dragon. I’m assuming there’s still magic inside it, so maybe the Sons of Svanir could start a fight inside hoelbrak when Jormag moves south. Use the tooth to directly make a big magical event or something.

The Inquest weren’t introduced for LS2, they’ve been in the game since the beginning and are mentioned at numerous points throughout the storyline. There’s even an entire dungeon (Crucible of Eternity) about them, as well as several asura personal storylines, Fractals, world bosses etc. Like all the other enemy factions they come and go from the storyline/s based on what’s going on and where we are. Just because they didn’t follow us into the Maguuma and haven’t been involved in Season 3 so far doesn’t mean they’ve been forgotten, just that the focus is on a different threat for now.

I owe an apology here, I meant to say ‘reintroduced’.
But I felt like they were building up a presence during LS2 and suddenly they were out of the picture. I personally thought that was a shame. And even now, I think we shouldn’t neglect them. Kudu wasn’t their leader/boss, and they’re still moving ever up.

Actually we know for a fact that dwarves aren’t extinct. Ogden was believed to be the last one on the surface (until we found some in the Fire Islands) but we’re told repeatedly that the majority of them are deep underground fighting the destroyers and that’s why we don’t see more destroyers on the surface.
Since they’ve just been re-introduced to the story in the most recent chapter and there’s a lot of hints we’re going to go after Primordius too it seems highly likely we’ll see more of them.

I may be in the wrong about that, though. Its just that because Primordus is moving, there’d been a lot of talk on the forums that Primordus moving and the dwarves still being alive are mutually exclusive events. But that may be completely wrong as that was only speculation.

If thats true, wouldn’t it be nice if the grand courtiers actually start infighting for the title of Grand Duchess? getting fractured Nightmare Courts that start rebelling and plotting for the Duchess title. Could actually be a nice story, where Caithe gets pulled in.

Not cute, but asura don’t necissarily need to be cute. They can still be intimidating, or cool, or spiteful.

There is nothing valuable in AP chests imo, the skins arent that special, the gold is neglible and the rest is very useless. Whenever i get one its more that i think, "oh god what do i do with this sh… and how do i get rid of it. I suppose the 1-2% are nice in the long run, but not hugely significant. (Also a reason for the cap I suppose, you dont want that stuff run out of hand.)

When people here argue that somehow players playing more easy tasks and coming back like some addict and that the game then somehow becomes better, Just because of something very very little as 10 AP, I start to lose faith in humanity. The 2 gold that comes with it is much more valuable than the AP.

It would be better to suggest that the daily gold amount goes up to 3 gold once you hit daily cap ( or whatever fits) because that actually i can see make sense.

The heavy-only chest-only is the only acceptable piece. The rest has no fire or shows skin. Same with the flamekissing wrathwalking stem store pieces. They show skin. The point is to look like a destroyer so I cant have skin shown. But until now Ive settles with the heavy flame legion chest for that cause

The inquest. Theyve been researching the dragon minions for power usage for quite some time. They were actively introduced during LS2 but disapeared/forgotten as soon as you move to the silverwastes. They still have too much potential to waste.

The dwarves, sure, things are dark for them, but they were closest to Primordus before his exodus. Even if there are none left, it would be a waste to not at least look for them. The PC doesnt know if they’re extinct. At least, I dont remember any npc guaranteeing they’re dead. I wonder if Ogden could tell if he was the last.

And with our hands full on the elder dragons, and the black citadel in political distraction, isnt now a good time for the flame legion to make a comeuppance?

Upgrade all base chests to medium, all medium to large. Now you have approximately 2.5x more big chests on one map. Now disable the map travel, by giving a boon on your map thats required to be inside. And you lose it when map or server traveling.
That way the ecto market gets a small debuff, but not so much that players will consider the event no longer worth it

I actually always found this fight hypnotizing: long, moving in circle, the colours… I think I killed her twice only (every time someone died so no title for me ) and we moved on to next wing. Try to mix trials on Sloth in between those on Sabetha, it is relaxing to change a bit.

As for OP, yes there will be new raids. It was confirmed. The question is when. It would make sense to release it when the legendary armours will be finished (somewhere early next year) but I still hope for a 2016 release for one wing (we are one month away from Wintersday)… time will say.

I’m a story junky, so I kinda wanted to do everything in order, but I’ve been stuck on Sabetha for so long, i might as well move on for now..

I guess its each to their own. I find VB by far the hardest to farm currency for.

In verdant brink the flow is much more steady. If you do events you get lots of tokens and crowbars for chests with lots of tokens. Where you get 3-30 airship salvage for a crowbar in VB, you only get 0-3 in TD

you can always at any time click a player, and then at the top of the screen click their icon and then click ‘send mail’ of after they’ve said something in chat, click their name and ‘send mail’. But this will only work if you’re physically near them, or have their name in the chat.

I anyone else having the same problem as me?
When I do Verdant Brink or Auric Basin, I get hundreds of the map currency (aircraft scrap and aurilium) but I can do events in the Tangled Depths for hours and make a meager 20-30 crystals at best.

I feel like only the chack gerent event and the crystallized chests drop the crystals. Is there something I’m doing wrong? I’m doing the meta, but hardly earning any crystals. and I need 250*9 tokens for the collection weapons..

AFAIK the solid (physical/retail) copies of gem cards were discontinued. But you can still buy digital codes.

The problem is that retailers aren’t going to sell that many, so the average store with limited “shelf space” isn’t going to order a lot. Consequently, they tend to sell out without being replenished.

If you want to buy them in stores, your best bet is to call your local store, make sure you get a supervisor (your first tier of retail help isn’t going to realize the supply chain issue), and ask for them to call around to other stores and/or order new ones.

Even stores that don’t normally carry them can order them from the same suppliers of other game-currency cards; you just have to be persistent.

It’s really easy atm. Like, the difficulty of traversing heart of thorns content should be the difficulty of level 1-25 zones (make thiefs do pocket raptor dmg), and it should get harder from there. You wouldn’t even need to balance anything else, the price of tough to get goods would go way up.

Right now open world is mostly a waste of time and not an accomplishment. The only thing hard is finding the direction you’re supposed to go for new users, outside of that its 80 levels of auto attacking trashmobs.

Did you do raids, Migraine, completed fractal Ad Infitum?
If you want difficulty, do some of that. If you find that easy, come back and complain to your hearts’ content.
