I miss this feature every time I try to find nice looking weapons
Player housing is a lot higher on my wish list too than guild halls.
One reason might be that I don’t have a guild :P

I am not a huge fan of flashy weapons with dripping particle effects and prefer more elegant, simple and detailed skins.
The best pistol skins I have found are the Ebon Vanguard Pistols and they are honestly not that great.
On my main I use Imryldeen/ Khrysoar and I love them to bits, the detail on that GS is just astounding.
Have you checked the Lionguard pistols? They’re quite nice
Hall of Monuments portal stone is a great way to get in a safe AFK spot. It’s free, you don’t have to logout, it teleports you to a safe place and teleports you back right there where you were when you are back.

Of course that does not help the situation when you are unable to even touch your computer anymore, but helps if you have few seconds to prepare for your afk.
Indeed, I too would like to see it stay as a permanent mini game activity.
Speed is the problem. Some players simply cannot do a jumping puzzle quickly, so making them timed automatically eliminates us from ever completing them. I can do the other jumping puzzles because they’re static and I can take my time on them to line up each jump. I still fall multiple times before completing any given puzzle (they are the worst part of the game bar none), but when they simply do not give you time to line up a jump at all, that is just bad design. Twitchmasters and Counterstrike players can pull it off no problem, I’m sure. Then they sit there and offer patronizing comments and explain how easy it all is. Well for some of us it’s not, and invalidating our experience by explaining how it’s so simple and our problems must be because we’re bad players is insulting and offensive.
Yeah speed is the problem for me with these JPs. My reaction time and mouse accuracy are not good enough for these anymore so they’re pretty much impossible for me to complete. Fun to try this one too of course but will be left uncompleted for me just like the clocktower.
have you tried increasing the mouse speed or even getting a faster mouse?
Hehe mouse is fine. With mouse accuracy I ment my own accuracy, not the mouse’s. Faster brain might do the trick

Providing the option to hide the commander icon reduces a significant reason for getting the commander status in the first instance.
What do you mean? That a significant reason to buy commander status is to show up on everyone’s map in towns and out in the PvE world even if they are not grouped or doing the same thing with the commander(s)?

Water is so huge part of the world.
As far as we know Sylvari don’t age like humans do, and if they do its probably super slow. Even the firstborn look fine, not withered at all.
The whole Sylvari race is only 23 years old so we cannot really say how they age.
How have you managed to fill your guild with people you do not know? If they don’t know you, it means that you don’t know them either.
I have had my share of running guilds in the last ~10 years and even when I’m not running one in this game, I can agree that the guild system is different here than in other more traditional MMOs. I’m not saying that it is worse, just different.
One main difference is that people have much more freedom to choose how they want to play and do they even want to be in a guild. It may sound a bit harsh but in traditional MMO guilds are pretty much forced on the player even if they do not want that. If you are not in a guild, you pretty much cannot play the game. It is much harder to switch guilds in that kind of system because there is a risk that you may lose your ability to play the game, so people tend to stick around even if they would not like to.
Here it is not like that. You can enjoy the whole content even without a guild at all. As I see it, the main reasons here to join and stay in a guild are the buffs and purely the social aspect.
If player is only after the buffs, he will be in a guild that offers the best. If the player wants the social aspect, it is pretty much guaranteed that they will continue to look until they find one they like. They are free to do so. There is zero risk to switch and try other guilds if they are not enjoying themselves in some.
Nice social atmoshpere is much harder to create than objective based system. Leaders might be able to make people achieve some objective, but they cannot make people enjoy each others company. It happens almost by accident, if at all, just like in real life.
In some ways the chances of it happening can be improved by carefully planning on what kind of people you are trying get together. Is it the age? Nationality? What is the common thing between your members. You simply cannot just invite everyone.
Ok, enough rambling. :P
What does it matter what character people play? Just assume that everyone is male like probably 97% of players are. MMO is not a dating site
Some play human male, some female, some are charr, some are asura, some are tauren, some are undead, some are elves and some are dwarves. Characters do not have to be a mirror images of the players themselves. Shocking, isn’t it?
I was just wondering what are you planning on doing with bank tabs and bags full of inscriptions and insignias. You aren’t supposed to hoard hundreds of them unless you’re planning some kind of trading post thing. Usually those things are used immediately after making them since they are only one component of the final product, like 1) craft insignia, craft blade, craft hilt 2) discover/craft new weapon out of those.
Raw materials worth of hundreds of insignias are a lot easier to store because they go into collectibles and as you have noticed, insginias does not.

How many more slots would you like to fill with insignias and inscriptions? 10? 100? 1000?
This “punishing PVE players” thing is confusing me a bit..
I guess I’m doing something wrong then because I have never changed server or felt the need to.
What am I missing here?
Do I need to redownload/reinstall GW2 for new computer or can I just copy the files from my old hard drive?

AS long as there is a toggle where I don’t have to see my game view cluttered with them, I’m all for it. I don’t want to be forced to see my own nameplate, etc either.
This. It’s very annoying to have your screen filled with “Player X, the Bringer of Uneccessary Clutter On Your Screen” -titles
Sure I’ve collected titles in mmos just like everyone else, but never used any and always turned other people’s titles off if possible. Titles are my personal accomplishments and I really doubt that anyone actually is interested to see what titles I, or anyone else, have.
Soo if they add this, please add an option to not see them too.
Titles here are exactly the same as they are in other mmos too. Cosmetic and only meaningful for yourself if even that. Except that they need much more work to get here. Do you really think that titles in other mmos really cause that “ooh and aah” reaction to other players?

Wait, karma jugs are a guaranteed reward for dailies? I thought they were just added to the pool of special items you had a small chance of getting(like the BL-kits and boosters).
Yes they are guaranteed.
Make tools have a lower chance to break when used on lower-quality nodes

Very good idea
So far I have bought only bank / bag slots and some lvl 80 transmute stones. Going to buy a character slot when I need one more.
I’m not a big fan of gamble-boxes or anything non-permanent like boosters are so it’s going to be only permanent stuff for me
