Yeah, but all those slots are used everywhere in the game so there is a way to use them all. :P I mean that he can use the skills in 6 and 7 slots (and every other slot too) in normal gameplay but suddenly it’s impossible to use them in bell choir

Body blocking.. oh yeah that would be absolutely horrible Imagine all the possibilities to grief people just about everywhere. Blocking the market, blocking the bankers, blocking the portals, blocking the resource nodes, blocking the jumping puzzles.
If there is a way to grief other players, people will do just that.
It reminded me a bit of one little incident that involved a ring and some lava..
Yes, it does have some strange parts and it is very lag sensitive.
For example that part where you jump across multiple platforms/towers with 3 skill very often resets you back to the previous waypoint without any obvious reason. It has happened to me many times without any fake power ups to be seen and even with grounded buff on so possible invisible fake power ups would not harm me. It helps to have a little pause between jumps so the server/client/whatever can keep up with your real position.
If you seem to have lag, you have to take it a bit slower and try to make every jump “clearer” to prevent the rubberbanding. The lag is there even if you have not noticed it in other parts of the game. Sprint has A LOT more moving, jumping, running, dashing, flashing and dodging obstacles than anything else.
I don’t like the look of the cultural gem store armor skin so I don’t buy it. Does this mean that now I lose?
I did buy the heavy Braham skin set for one of my characters so I guess I won that time.

1. personal story – You may occasionally encounter the mentor of the instance starter
2. Race – You may occasionally encounter the destinies edge member who shares your race
3. personal story? – You may occasionally encounter traeherneNon “secret” bosses include the spider (both veteran and champion) the watchworks, the aetherblades, and possibly even the molten bezerker (who I encountered on a character that have never even existed during the molten factory segment)
The mentor is obviously based on what order the instance owner created. As far as I can tell the destiny edge people you face are those that mirror your race. My charr ele has fought rytlock, and my norn guardian has seen Eir/garm twice. But Ive yet to encounter any of the others. Im not sure if there’s a trigger for traeherne, but one assumes youve probably had to at the very least complete forging the pact (as he refers to you as commander)
Sounds correct. My Sylvari vigil warrior with completed story has seen Caithe, Forgal and Trehearne
So presumably one could become a “Gladiator” by playing lots of fantasy rugby? What is the point in that? I don’t PvP, so would be convenient, but no, ty. I am glad to hear they will remove it.
Why not? Real gladiators were also just attending activities, not real wars and battles.

You can’t cater to only one culture. Like was said, Thanksgiving is an American holiday. If you make a whole holiday in game for it, then you’d have to do the same for other cultures as well to be fair. It’s like saying why don’t we make an event for the Qingming Festival (my apologizes if I spelt that wrong)? Because it isn’t a shared holiday amongst all cultures.
GW2 is a worldwide game. As much as other cultures would like to have their special holidays in game, Anet has to limit it to shared holidays or Krytan holidays to be fair. Otherwise, there would be events going off almost every day for everyone’s holidays and it would be chaos.
Hmm i thought Halloween was purely an American holiday, yet we’ve had 1 month worth of it. I know some places have taken up the idea as well but as far as i know it’s an American thing.
Well, yes and no. It’s mostly American only in this form that we see in games and movies etc, but it is a holiday pretty much everywhere. It just varies a lot how it is celebrated, if at all. After all it is originally ancient Celtic festival so it has been around here in Europe in a form or another long before it spread to America
This is like your next door neighbor griping when you ask him to turn down his obnoxiously loud music. “If I’m not disturbing my neighbors then how will they know how great a stereo I bought?”
Nope this is more like you worked hard to get a nice stereo and when you play music on it your obnoxious neighbour doesn’t ike the music so complains to the police incessantly about it.
That is why a toggle would be great. You could play the music as loud as you want on your awesome stereo and the neighbour could click the toggle and enjoy the silence. Both would be happy
