Not sure if it is a bug, but anyway, it says everywhere that the decoration limit in the halls should be 2000, but it seems that we have hit the limit with only 1000 decorations.
It does not give any error messages, but just does not let the item be placed after having 1000 decorations.
So, question is, is it a bug or stealth nerf or is the limit tied to level (we’re lvl 32 now)?
Or is the 2000 mentioned in Wiki even correct information?
Yes, those shoulders are THE thing for reasons unknown to me too. :P
So no, you are not missing anything.
dun u get annoyed when you get thrown into a game that has ended?
Patience. If you end up in a game that’s almost ended simply wait a minute and you are guaranteed to end up in a brand new instance. One extra session of the one minute free-style over the course of however many sessions you want to go through isn’t that big a deal in the long run.
Except it’s not guaranteed. It very often gives the “game you are trying to join is full” notice and only choice is to leave the old map and try again. Took me 7 tries yesterday to actually get into bells. 3 times it threw me immediately back to DR and 3 times ended up to ending instance and after waiting the free play minute it gave that Full notice. :P
I don’t mind bosses that are difficult or hard to kill or even ones that are not on specific timers.. In fact, I like a challenging boss fight. Karka queen is frustrating for the opposite reason: she is too easy and dies too quickly. I never know where or when she will spawn, and by the time I get there, she is usually dead.
I decided to get there ten minutes early today and, after waiting for 8 minutes or so, she spawned near the one waypoint I didn’t have on the character I was on. So I went to the closest one I did have, and by the time I got there (literally 30 seconds later), she was dead.
This is probably the 5th or 6th time in a row I’ve gone to fight KQ and missed the event altogether. Anyone else extremely frustrated by this? I can’t think of another boss event where the boss dies this quickly.
Ways Anet could improve it to give more players a chance to participate:
-Give people a warning 2 minutes before she spawns, saying where KQ will be spawning.
-Increase her health, to keep up with the power creep currently in game.
-Add another phase to the fight.
You can see the boss spawn times at all kinds of timers around the net, for example this one:
http://guildwarstemple.com/dragontimer/events.php?serverKey=204&langKey=en
That should be enough early warning as you can follow the events many hours before they happen.
Then when it’s time for this boss to spawn, there will be 15 minute window to actually get her to appear. That happens when the camps are 4/4 in player control. That is also an early warning for you and helps you keep track when she appears.
The fight really should not be made to take longer only so you don’t have to unlock the waypoints.

Bounties and Races both bugged tonight, so we could do only Trek and Puzzle.
My settings have not reseted today anymore.
Am i the only one who highly doubts the OP didnt know this already and is just trying to start the same tired old argument of “ohmugerd why i pay twice?” And attempted to disguise it as something else?
Because i am very much getting that impression
No, you’re not the only one. First thing that came into my mind too and that impression is probably right since according to post history he has been around at least over a year already.
I was hoping to restock my tool supply this year as I’m starting to run out of them, but looks like I’m not going to. Guess they were too convenient things to have around.
Agreed. I play 1 or two hours a day if I’m lucky and I just did my dailies and worked on the festival achievements. Got just under 1k drinks, so yeah, 10 more days and I should be there.
I also like that not everyone will put in the time to get it. I don’t raid, so there are items I’ll miss out on, but this one I can earn, even with carpal tunnel and a busy schedule.
Could you please share how exactly you manage to get over 1000 gifts in 1-2 hours?
Those tips might help others on this task too.
Yeah no idea why this information is not available. Would be nice to know.
Yes you can. Just copy paste the whole GW2 directory. No need to even reinstall or anything.
I’m confused, why are Arenanet staff posting about this in that reddit link above? Isn’t this the official bug forum? Without Cindas posting that, I never would have known they even knew about the issue.
Indeed.. almost all information these days is only in reddit or twitter.
Look for sold items around value of 48,9s
Or if someone for some reason is selling things to your buyorders for 44s less than what you have offered :P
maybe a full group would be able to jump in and kill all of them at the same time, would be fun to watch
Little tip if you are making it in a group. Be sure to tag every one of them. There is a hidden counter that you have to tag almost all of them to get credit for the achievement and it does not count the ones your group members (or their pets) kill.
Scribing should be tied to the guild hall’s workshop instead of any individual player and use the treasury donation system as the source of materials. Rights to use the workshop could be set up with the ranks like other rights in the hall too.
That would make it more of a guild crafting skill and remove the risks of anyone suddenly quitting or leaving. Also it would take off the pressure from the individual player to feel the need to level the impossibly expensive scribing.
I also have a feeling that members could be more willing to donate materials to the treasury than just send them directly to any player.

Wvwv bonuses probably, you noticed the drop when there was a reset.
Why oh why did you destroy the best instrument in the game!
There should be a toggle to choose between old and new effects.
All icons, titles and everything unneccessary clutter should be toggleable.
+1
Seriously ugly nerf.
I would also love to see all the changes listed in the notes, including bug fixes.
Yes could not update with the 64 bit. Updated with 32 bit, tested if I could log in after that with 64 bit but could not. 32 bit works normally.
Our whole mine had disappeared yesterday in gilded hollow. Was kinda surprising when I went to check the upgrades there. :P
Luckily it appeared back later.
I wish they would at least remove the challenges from the mission rotation until they’re fixed. It really is annoying to get two undoable missions.
They were added to the game some time ago because there was a lack of low level back items and to serve as a little almost free bonus item for the crafters themselves to upgrade and use while leveling their craft. They are not really ment to be a pure craft skill leveling item and you don’t need to make them at all if you don’t want to actually use one.
I’m not paying even 1 gem for something I don’t want or need.
And it’s again in the list for this week.
oh yay… :/
Scribing should be tied to the Workshop in the hall, not any individual player.
We also fought this guy like 10 minutes yesterday as he cannot be knocked back anymore. Luckily we had time, would have been annoying to fail the three target bounty only because of this issue.
Yep was bugged yesterday. Couldn’t start it so missed that mission.
I bursted laughing when I saw the new firepebble. :P
New direction indeed worries me too.
GW2s style felt wonderful after spending so many years for raiding in MMOs. Never going to start again all that what raiding requires and causes to the game. I will keep on playing with my own style like I have done the past three years, but I really am afraid that the new style leads to direction where it is no longer possible.
Problem with the guild halls is that there is no reason to spend time there. There is nothing to do, no TP, no crafting posts. You just have to go somewhere else if you need any of the common services. Only vault is available at the scribe station, but I’m not sure if everyone even realizes this.
I was wondering the same yesterday after making the first furniture, even made a bug report, but it indeed goes into that mystical machine in workshop and not your inventory.
Yeaah just noticed this, unlocked them all yesterday, today they are all locked. I sure hope it’s a bug and not ment to work like this.
I’ve noticed that the bugs start when you die during the final fight with Mordy.
My first instance was buggy as hell because I died a lot there.
Second instance was with another person, we wiped once and there were some bugs but less than the first time, yet we managed to finish it.
My third instance was completed with only one death at start (Eir killed me) and there were no bugs.
So until all bugs are fixed, I’d suggest you OP to be as careful as you can be in order to not die. If you managed to not die and still had bugs then my bad
Didn’t die, we were both solo-ing separately, endless bugs – amazed at how 12+ hrs of resetting and repeating between us wouldn’t yield one single workable instance for either of us.
I have to ask.. are you absolutely sure that they all really were bugs and not just some of the fight’s mechanics that you possibly did not figure out? I mean that bad luck really sounds odd.
Here is their stated philosophy. In case you didn’t know, you didn’t really like the old system, so they’ve fixed it for you.
The broad category of guild boosts—upgrades that give a benefit to guild members for a limited period of time—felt invisible and unengaging to the average guild member. We’re replacing these with permanent unlocks. Some, like the waypoint cost reduction, will apply permanently for all guild members without any need for interaction. Others, like the World vs. World fort enhancements, will apply permanently in the appropriate situation—the fort enhancements will always apply to the region of any WvW objective your guild claims as long as you hold the objective. Those attached to specific modes of play, such as the WXP or magic find boosters, are being replaced by a new guild-effects slot that functions like food and utility effects. Once your guild unlocks them, these effects will be available from a vendor in your tavern. Each guild member can only have one effect active at a time, but they’re free to swap and effectively never expire.
Oh true how nice of them to fix it! Especially the fix that even when we never do WvW, we still get to build that bonus just to get regular XP bonus higher!
Sounds like I’ve been very lucky. Done it on two characters now and it bugged only once.
Yeah, you do not seem to be able to stack the guild buffs anymore. Also it’s kinda annoying uneccessary material sink that you still have to build them all, since every buff increases all other buffs by 1%. So have to build all those useless ones too to get the good ones higher.
Puzzle rewards bugged for our guild too. Had something like 15 people doing it and only couple got rewarded.
Used the 64 bit client the whole evening yesterday, about 8 hours, and did all kinds of things that often caused crashes like Karka queen. Not a single crash. 32-bit would have crashed 2-3 times in that time.
Maximum memory usage I noticed was 5,7 GB at Karka.
There is still some kind of problem that also excists in the 32-bit that it starts to get choppy after couple of hours.

How many free glider skins you should have received to make you feel happy?
Unless you have actually read the thread, don’t comment. Your ignorance does you no justice. No one, not once, asked for anything for free. They simply asked to add glider skins to the game so we can earn them, instead of putting them on the Gem Store (as day one DLC at that).
We paid 50 bucks for this new expansion, and all we got was a couple new armor skins, couple new weapons, and one glider (two if you got the collector’s edition). I mean, really?
And now, right after the expansion releases, they are already throwing up new items in the gem store. Hey a new outfit, new gliders, several new weapon sets in the Black Lion chests, etc.
Just feels like we got a bum deal/shafted on the expansion. I get Anet loves money, but to release all this new stuff for the gem store after we just paid for an overpriced expansion (my opinion), just feels like a slap in the face.
Sounds to me that at least some of the writers are complaining that there was not enough skins included in the price of the expansion, so my question was, how many glider skins there should have been to make you feel happy? 2, 3, 5?
How many free glider skins you should have received to make you feel happy?
Guild hall costs are insane for small guilds

Coarse sand is much more trouble than Flax. Flax gathers up almost automatically while playing in thenew areas , but for coarse sand you actually have to spend hours after hours in Dry Top or Silverwaste farming it and it is needed in crazy amounts too. Thousands and thousands of sands.
Yes. New guild currency that replaced influence (Favor) cannot be bought.
Made me sad having to kill my old friend.
I always ress people when it is possible, but the dead should also understand that if they are laying dead under 30 Chak zerg or some funky champion mushroom boss, they won’t get ressed immediately no matter how often they spam “reeessss heeeeeeelp”.
New maps have felt much less populated than the old ones even when the swarm was here. They are much bigger and more going on all the time. Even at launch it felt like the player cap for these map could, and should, be raised a bit.
60 flax and 50 coarse sand just to turn one basic chair/table into simple one and that is the only thing that gives XP..
