It was destroyed before Tami made the device. Her device only stopped progression whatever Mordy was doing to WPs with sucking their energy. Her device didn’t “fix” the WP in LA because it was completely destroyed so her device couldn’t prevent the destruction… Since it was already destroyed….. Chunks of it are still laying on the ground last I checked.
Also the tentacles are gone because of her device. Or for the WP in LA you could argue they are gone because it sucked up all the energy so there’s no reason for it to stick around.

If you are talking active accounts (login past 30 days also subtracting the increased RMT advertising accounts with the 75% off sales). I would argue much more than 1% have legendaries.
Of course there is no data on that and it would be too hard to determine with throwing in RMT accounts or accounts people bought to just get extra daily login rewards because of the sales.

I did world completion 3 times so far. I know people who have done it on all their charaters. Same with personal stories. I guess they would have to delete a charater then in order to get access to these points if Anet would implement OP’s idea. Seriously that’s terrible.
It is your opinion that it would be more fun to experience the this new system from scratch. I for one don’t want to do another map completion/ world completion.
If you really want to experience it this way then buy a new account. You could even go with the precursor mastery and sell the old precursors while using the other on your account to craft or something. Or you could also get that twice told legend title this way. Either way this is your opinion and there’s a way for yoh to experience this tho you will have to spend a little extra money.
I think the chest piece and leg peice armor box drops are broken too. maybe it’s just me but I have only gotten head hands feet and some shoulders over the past like 6 months.
Why keep people saying you need more mobilty vs mesmers, GS or longbow etc.. ?
You can kill them with melee only aswell, as long as you see were the mesmer is going its fine.

This mesmer was pretty bad. Did he even use blurred frenzy? I don’t see him trying to use ileap either. Watching on my phone so it’s hard to tell but obviously he was using GS too much while running away…. he also didn’t mass invis and I didn’t see him use decoy either. He should have timed his interupts better as well. The time he does get magic bullet off he does nothing to take advantage of that except to run away some more lol. Between distortion, blurred frenzy, blink (stuns break) and decoy (stun break) hammer CC is pretty useless.
I agree that it is harder for mesmer to deal with LB. That’s you’re best bet to counter it.

Nope. I would also like to know if ascended armor boxes for chests and legs are more rare. I have so many feet/hands/head boxes… Seems more rare to me anyway but could just be RNG
They could do that but there would be no profit margin. Look at Cragstone there’s no profit to be had there. Even items like Infinite Light… By the time you buy the lodestones and other materials you are already fast approaching your sell price. Of course if you can get a good deal on those mats (which would be a rare occurrence) then sure. Or just make a legendary.
Really when it comes down to it they are too easy to get. Most won’t bother “paying” for them. I don’t see the value of them going over 1silver each ever. And I don’t mean selling them On the TP. I mean doing the math and adding up all the actual cost to make an item that uses them, and subtracting it from the profit then dividing that amongst the amount of shards used or skill points used as well.

Yeah. Transmutation charges. The first use of it is free as in no transmutation charge. After that it’s going to be 1 charge each time.
Yeah you have to drive your camera into the ground to shoot up. Of course it’s hard to tell where you are shooting then. But maybe first person view would be a decent work around? I haven’t tried range in first person. But worth a “shot”
It would be nice to have sigil’s to be “unlock able” on legendaries. Its expensive to change certain sigils around when you change the stats. Of course I don’t bother with it as it’s just a waste of gold. So kind of makes the legendary stat change feature mediocre. There was a thread created about this awhile back but there were a few people who thought it was too OP for some reason. Still would like this tho as its only horizontal progression nothing vertical.
The cook is still around. Grawnk is not… You can’t do it until maybe next time. Again the letter does nothing.

Yes! Lol. Idk if this is a thing but I would love to “join” a guild that no one reps but is just a list of players who are veterans and run meta. Maybe even have them choose which class they prefer when “joining” and making different symbols/ranks depending on the class.
I saw someone doing this the other day and he asked me to join their “veteran” fractal guild which you don’t rep and is just a list of names… But they sucked.

You should read the thread. Dev response 2 days ago that they they are working on it but it’s a hard fix. And I don’t think they have the resources to go trough all those accounts to check all that. It would take a very very long time.
Letter does nothing. You had to log in and talk to Grawnk (sp). You could complete the event without ever opening your mail.
If you want to actually get this fixed you’re going to have to be more specific where you are having these issues and include screen shots if you can. They will not roll these changes back. I’ve actually seen a great improvement with blink in PvP because of these changes. But yeah you’re going to have to specifically tell them where this occurs so they they can reproduce it or they won’t fix it.
Also, no offense, but you come across as being rude and if you want them to fix this issue being rude isn’t going to get you too far. You will most definitely get infractions for spamming but they also aren’t going to look into the issue at all if you’re being rude about it.
Last tip. Make a post about this is the theif forum and see if other thieves are having the same issue and tell them to comment on this thread. The more people who report and confirm this problem the more likely you will get a response. That’s the route to take if you actually want to get a response. I understand you are upset but making angry posts about a bug isn’t going to get it fixed.

There was a title for slaying giants, fire imps etc. etc. etc. in PVE and the last one was for 1000 giants (God I hate those giants now) and at the time there was a title when you accomplished all of them Now the list has been added to. I know I checked it maybe a month ago and there weren’t any added kills for added enemies, now there is. I’m just bummed for the time I put into that.
This guide says nothing about a title. I think you are really confused. Please read my previous post and check the link. You need 2000 PVP kills for this title.
I have the slayer title and killed maybe 30 giants….

They aren’t going to ban people for this. The guy advocating for this is out of the loop in how this “exploit” happened. In my opinion it wasn’t an exploit as much as it was just a bug and people don’t get banned for bugs happening to them. Its Anet’s fault and displacing your anger unto the player base isn’t going to get you anywhere.

Most likely if this is true the staff skills will be melee where guard is mid Ranged. I’m hoping for running hammer for ranged & staff for melee just because that seems neat.

Most of the bad player base comes on during the weekend. Consistently my pug dungeon runs are at least 20-40% longer. Teq and VW are also harder as people are lazy and don’t WP when they die. Last night I had 2 VW fail back to back because most of the players at South died and didn’t WP. Then they decided to afk while the other lanes carried them only to lose too much siege when they failed again as 80% of the lane was afk.
I’ll admit people have gotten much better at might stacking at Teq. But how long did this take them to figure out lol. I still get some guard light fields tho once and awhile on my fire fields.

Everything just freezes for like 20 seconds then loads all at once. Happens on all applications using a connection, don’t know what the deal is.
This sounds like a latency issue. In other words people in your area are all getting on at this time and it overloads the available bandwidth in the area. So the company you have has to run more fiber optics out to your area (I think) in order to fix this. I might be using some terms wrong here but that is the general idea. If you call you’re provider and tell them what’s happening you might be able to convince them to up your speed for free or try to fix the issue in the area.
For real check the patch notes. If you hold fire up to your monitor in the blank areas and make your monitor hot enough… Eventually you’ll see glowing gold words which describe the stealth notes. Or your computer will catch Fire. But it’s probably worth

You’re on a new character. Completion is character bound. They will be unlocked on whatever character you did them on.
If you blacked out all player names in the picture you would be fine. Granted the people you would be shaming only have the name JQ invader or whatever…. But yeah that is what you are getting infractions for.
500 pristine means 500 days unless you’re doing multiple scales a day, when most people don’t even do besides 50 and 40. Even with 2 scales that’s almost a year of grinding fractals, it’s a stupid grind.
Why should a tonic or a simple skin take longer to obtain than an actual legendary weapon?
Yep this is very true. I do on average about two fractals a day since soon after they were released. I crafted Eternity before I got the GS skin. I crated Bolt before I got the sword. I crafted Kudzu before I got the Longbow… All through dungeon/champ/world boss grinding (still no precursor drops… The RNG loves me)
The truth is, everyone that got lucky with 19 fractal weapon skins and a tonic is going to have a massive outcry if it becomes accessible without the roll of the dice. There’s no pleasing everybody here.

Why? I don’t see a problem with 1000 pristine relics giving access to a skin or something. Honestly I would argue 500 is enough. There is no prestige associated with the skins or the fractal tonic. I’ve ran with a guy once who only started doing 50s that week and he got the tonic (and yes used it to show us so it wasn’t chat link code). At least with legendaries there is a way to grind them out even if it takes a few months. At 1000 relics that’s like at least 667 hours of fractal grind if your average run is 40 mins long (about the time of 28 RL days or double that if you would account for sleeping… Also 40 mins is generous for most people). If you keep getting fractal spearguns I think you deserve at least one skin of your choosing for that much time and effort. Everyone is entitled to an opinion I’m just not sure the reasoning behind not having some system like this is place. For the record I don’t have the tonic and I’m missing only the pistol and spear fractal skins (which I don’t really care about either)
And side note the system was already changed with Fractured. When skin drop rates hit a all time low. Then they kept bugging the drop rates for everything multiple times and it took them months and months to fix. So even the RNG system has been changed already multiple times and sometimes even in error….

Yep it’s easy to work around this. It relates to your underwater skills.
It’s always worked like this for me. Not so sure it’s a bug as much as it is intended or was never a “feature” to save the color.
I thought this was kind of intended. It happens when you do different instances of the map several times after mineing the rich nodes. So if you mine a rich vein once and then try to mine the same one in another shard it won’t work as a rich vein.
I’m not going to dig it up but probably 3 or 4 months ago this was well researched. Apparently it looks wrong but it is working.

Almost all other MMO’s have incentive for using authenticators as it can be somewhat of a bother in setting up. It would be great if you would offer something like free or reduced WP’s or Increase percentage to MF, Xp, or Karma. Wildstar offers XP boost if I remember correctly. Final fantasy has reduced home point costs for 2 points and one free home point. Im sure there’s other example as well.
Either way I will always use the authenticator. I put too much time into my account to risk a compromise but still just a thought that might get more people using them and less resources you have to spend in recovering accounts.

Your graphic settings are set really low or you are in a larger group fight…
You need to re do them. If you had dungeon master before the reward track was implemented those story modes unlocks didn’t count.
Are you talking about the red circles and harpy projectiles that knock Back? I’m assuming you are. Most likely you not seeing the red circle and there’s a couple of them. As in, you see one circle and get away from it. However, there is another red circle where you moved to but since it is so large it often doesn’t show up on the platforms. So you end up getting hit. It’s possible to get hit when there is no red circle on any platform because of how large the circle is, it is too large for an edge of it to be on the platform.
You need more reflect or stability
Guardian: wall of reflection, shield of the avenger, stand your ground, hallowed ground.
Mesmer: feedback, traited focus for warden reflect and curtain reflect (note put the curtain right down on where you are standing to make it reflect back for harpies)
Ele: swirling winds
Thief: that smokey line thing I can’t recall the name lol.

Side note… I only find this item useful for when you create new characters and “tome of knowledge level” them to 80. If you want to do CoF and don’t want to run there you could have a friend WP to Fireheart and use this item to unlock the WP/ map for running CoF or some other dungeon. Outside this very specific situation its pretty much useless.
It will work in PvE and WvW if your charater was created after sometime in spring of last year. The update that increased staff AoE (for both traited and untraited staff) was what broke the PvE traited staff aoe ground target size.
So if you have a new account or charater it will work in PvE WvW.
I agree with OP it is very annoying in PvE when trying to land static field in a specific spot to stun. You have to guess and hope for the best.
@moonstarmac: not sure what you are talking about you might be thinking of some different trait? Blasting staff does increase the aoe radius. Wiki it.

Most likely this bug relates to the Thurmanova Reactor Fractal. There has been a bug that has been “fixed” several times where you would die and go invisible for the rest of the shard. However this has yet to be fixed it just gets stated that it has been in the patch notes. It seems this current PVP bug also happens on death and respawn. Maybe just a coincidence but something I thought I would point out.
Also for anyone having this bug happen to them. (Or if a Dev or person here wants to go back in the forums and find people who have this bug happen to them and email in the forum):
Did you change your charater appareance to the new faces introduced in the 3/16 patch? This may be how it relates to the fractal bug I previously mentioned.

Settle down it is a known bug. This has been reported at least 10 times now over the past 2 weeks in the forums. About half those threads were created by people who were invisible. How it happens is rather unknown. Now if someone is continuously invisible every new match then I would be inclined to believe that they figured out how the bug works and they are now exploiting it.
But since it can randomly happen you can’t say everyone who has this bug is exploiting. It can happen to anyone. Again if you search the forums several threads were made by people who had this bug happen to them. They wouldn’t report it if they were using it as an exploit.
Edit: OP you can get forum infractions for posting videos that include the players name. If anyone is going to get into trouble here it is you. Please remove the video or black out the name or remove that part of the video. It is against forum rules.

It’s not a new feature he was just saying it might be a bug related to new content that is coming. It is similar to how you can link new weapon skills for ele and revenant right now in game and the link code looks something like (4726374)
This is already reported. And is in fact a bug that somehow happens on death and respawn. There really isn’t a way to fix it beside leaving the game and coming back. It is unknown how this bug/exploit can be reproduced so you can’t tell whether someone just had the bug or if they are abusing the bug which would be an exploit. Still the way you present this post and thread is shaming the said engi which has his name in the video which is against forum rules. Shadow was being helpful in trying to prevent you from receiving forum infractions for violating the rules. The beginning where you show the engi’s name is not allowed so you should remove that part of your video.
It’s also not engi specific it can happen to anyone.
