Why does this not work for Engineer Flamethrower skill #1, Flame Jet, if channeled attacks are supposed to follow stealth? As soon as the enemy is stealthed flame jet breaks aggro, and fires off in the original direction, and requires manual aim to sweep the area for possible damage. If the enemy takes damage, stealth does not drop, so why does Ranger get to continue to attack, but Engi cannot?
It’s compelty different… Flame thrower 1 acts as a cleave attack and therefore it can shoot through walls. That doesn’t happen with rapid fire obviously.
It also doesn’t make sense that blind, being a condition which I should be able to transfer to the enemy, instead makes me miss… So the tool tip is actually incorrect and should read something like transfer conditions except for blind…. But as OP said this wouldn’t be as much of a problem if it casts the correct cast time.
The immobilize condition stacks and the root is pulsing it.

This sounds like to a bad server that is also being reported for plains of Ashford and some pvp maps. It’s not so much the story itself just an issue with their hardware. If you wait awhile hopefully the instance you are trying to get into changes IP and servers so you can do it
You don’t have 3. One is for underwater combat. The bottom 2 slots are for undwater
You can also have 2 pets active at one time so when one dies they switch out or if you want to switch them out you can during combat. So that’s why you see it switching “models.” You are hitting the f skill or whatever it is (small arrow near your pet bar) that switches the pet.
I’m having the same issue on legacy of foefire unranked pvp queue…. I still think this is a bad server poping up.
I was able to log in fine on Black gate. Try guesting there. My IP is 64.25.38.160:0
Try guesting before logging in. Most likely the shard you are loading into is on a bad server. Of course they need to fix it but this could be a work around
Edit. The problem with guesting is, it’s kind of random luck if you end up picking a server that isn’t tied to the broken ip shard that your server is tied to. So if you try guesting and it does not work please reply with the server you are from and the servers you tried guesting. Then people will know not to choose those servers. If you find a working server please reply with that as well.
If that doesn’t work then I really have no idea what to tell you except hopefully they read these and fix them soon.

Happened to me earlier when I was bored and zooming my camera around a lot. When my camera was up against a wall and I was spinning it around really fast my charater went invisible. I wasn’t able to replicate it though. And a tonic fixed the issue.
If you’re curious I was at fire ele. It happened to me there once before tho I can’t recall if I was spinning my camera around that time. I was standing near the spot where you jump up into the platform that’s hard to get on to. It was actually that wall of that platform that the camera hit when I was spinning it around. This also happened before fire ele was even close to spawning as the golem was being escorted.
As others have discussed it happens to be relatively often in uncategorized fractal. Other than that I don’t have problems usually

You no longer can save chests up to open them later. They automatically open and the items go into your inventory.
Once outside max range the damage is zero so there is an addition the same as what it will be at 1000+ and I don’t care if my arrow is arcing or dropping like a lead balloon.+
I main a ranger and have noticed this as well so maybe its worth a check out all the same.

Are you saying you do more damage once you go past like 1500 range?
Or maybe you are saying since it’s hard to hit people at 2000 range you should have a damage increase. There are a lot of people that would disagree with that. But that is something you would address in another forum as that is not a bug.

This happens to me when my internet is is crap. I will use blink at a spot ahead of me. It will go off sometime later, at this point the spot I chose to blink to is behind me so I end up going backward.
As far as the sky hammer bug goes. If you run into sky hammer there is indeed a bug where it will automatically take you right back out. If you pause a split second before running in this won’t happen.
It seems like OP is saying he picks up an ice now and no longer can run. Like he is stuck in walk mode or something. If he is referring to how you have to stop to pick the weapon up then yeah it’s always worked like that. Maybe I’m confused but either way the OP could be a little more specific that would clear things up.
Technically it’s their gold they own the game and own your character. If you are giving them greif such as opening alot of tickets and just being rude then they have every right to not fix this issue for you.
I agree with other responses that you clicked sell. Maybe you had lag when it happened and you were clicking too fast which resulted in it selling for so cheap as you clicked sell but your screen hadn’t loaded the sell icon yet. Lag isn’t exactly Anets fault as it can be due to so many different things. Maybe it was on their end you’ll never know but regardless if you have lag and have something for that much gold in your inventory then you should be careful to take it slow.

I’ve never had this happen. Are you able to reproduce the bug consistently? If so how?
Yeah don’t rush into the weapon testing room. Wait for the npcs to go in first. If you go too fast the npcs will not do their dialogue which will bug them out and result in a complete loss of progression.
Yes the in game is not so much a ticket. You can’t track it or get in touch with anyone regarding it. The website one will give you a number and you will get a response
I am just saying it’s too early to report this as a bug. We can’t weild shields yet as Mesmer. It’s likely once the expansion hits this won’t be clipping. If it does then a report would be appropriate. In my opinion it’s just junping the gun and making a problem out of something that may not even be a problem.
Yeah I agree it has nothing to do with HoT.
I just made clovers a couple days ago and it worked fine. Try the suggestions here hopefully one works. Maybe get on a different charater.
You can try contacting customer support though most likely they won’t be able to help. Opening a ticket is done by following the support link on the top left of this page.
Yeah there was another post last week about this and an Anet staff responded with something clever. I am not going to dig for it but they know haha
If it is a server issue everyone on the map will also have the same problem, which is why asking in map chat is good because you can find out if it’s just on your end. Although from what you’re describing shadow that is what I experience when I have internet issues (around 6-10pm my internet is terrible because the only internet provider I can get sucks and it takes them forever to run more fiber to our area). When I am near the Zerg I lag out especially in world Boss events and this unfortunately leads to a DC. If you experience this your best bet is to hit him a bit and go defend turrets since there’s less people.
It also makes sense that when you crashed you didn’t experience lag on the map you zoned into because that map would not have been soft capped. Meaning you got placed in there without having to join on a player who was already in the map. However the map you were in previous to your crash was most likely over the soft cap (otherwise there’s not much of a chance to win anyway) and possibly nearly hard capped meaning more people in the map and a larger Zerg.

Most of the time maps will reach max player limt and “hard cap” for teq if you are in a good map. This happens regardless of whether or not he is the daily. So it really has nothing to do with the daily. However it’s hard to pin down what your issue is. It could be your graphic settings, computer overheating, low mbps, or several other issues. If it is server side you should ask the rest of the map if they are also having the issue. If so then post the shards IP address as most likely a server is going bad. This is found by typing /ip In game.
Switch weapons or zone or go to log on screen and back. This should fix it.
Sorry just checking, but are you sure you went trough every poi and hovered over it to make sure it was named and not “undiscovered point of interest”? It would be easy to count one that looked like you discovered it but hadn’t. You may also want to reference the wiki for that zone to go down the list of poi’s and just double check you have them all.
They can see you this has happened to me as well at mark II Golem on my Mesmer. However I mostly play Mesmer so I’m unsure if it is class specific or not.
They do not drop at world boss chests. I’ve run world bosses for a week and have not had this happen.
The thing is you would have had to choose the same finisher twice from 2 gifts for this to happen unless you somehow had a bug but your post is rather vague. Reading your post literally, then you received 2 finishers from one gift which is indeed a bug. You are only supposed to get one. In that case they aren’t going to change the extra one you got to one you don’t have as you would have had to run the reward track again to receive another finisher. If you wanted all three finishers you would have had to run the track 3 times and select a different finisher each time from the chest.

I’ve never heard of this as well. Maybe you should mess with your graphic settings. Are you using windowed mode?
I was just saying to try transmuting it to something else if it somehow relates to the exotic armor you transmuted it from which you talked about a bit in the first post. I doubt it relates to being transmuted from that particular exotic skin it came from but it’s worth a try to transmute it to something different, then back to the cultural just to see if that fixes anything. However if you do this, when you transmute it to something different don’t change it back to the original exotic skin. That’s what I was trying to get at. I have tons of charges so that’s what I would do however if you don’t have a lot I wouldn’t bother as more than likely it won’t fix it.
My guess is the exotic armor you obtained from the level up chest is bugged. It’s coded differntly than regular armor because you are unable to salvage it. They probably have something messed up as a result of altering the code which blocks salvaging it.

If you have extra charges try changing it to something else (a skin that was not the previous exotic skin) and back. Just a thought I am rather doubtful that will change anything but worth a shot.
Well it seems this isn’t a bug for many people or there would be responses or other threads created on this topic. You could try running a repair or full re install. You could also open a ticket by contacting customer support which is done by following the link in the upper left of the page for “support.”
Yes I continue to get it in Shaman fractal as well as other jumping puzzles.
I also noticed this however it only happens for me when I am in combat. I wasn’t able to reproduce the bug while out of combat. It is even more apparent when you are making multiple players invisible.
I haven’t heard anyone else experiencing this problem. Perhaps you are using some type of game pad? Can you try using some other type of method to make your charater run such as holding both left and right click on the mouse? Does the problem still persist?
Yeah this has been reported like 4 or 5 times now. Hopefully we get a dev response on this eventually.
Sorry as soon as you accept the chest it becomes soulbound to that charater. If you delete the charater it is on without opening it you will not be able to get another one. Although this will not mess up your progression, that chest from today’s daily is gone and you will be unable to get it back.
Yeah it’s hard to say… You definitely had the revealed before you cast mass invis but there doesn’t seem to be a source for it.

I’m not seeing this. Most likely something else was going on that you missed. Perhaps a treb or some other damage such as theif who stealthed. Or maybe you are used to PU mesmers or cele mesmers… But anyway there isn’t any apparent damage increase to Mesmer that you are describing.

If you guest it should fix it. But I agree this needs fixed ASAP. I would a new player know to guest to fix this bug? They might decide to post here in this forum and they’d find out eventually the work around. But in all honesty I don’t think a lot of new players are going to do this. They are going to ask for a refund because the game obviously has issues from the start.
Some type of major issue going on. Lots of posts like this are piling up but it’s a bigger thing than just this point of no return reward. It’s happening across most maps.
There’s another thread with a dev response on this. Its every aura when being in a large group of players or NPC. I’m too lazy to find the thread tho haha. But they just said they would look into it.

This sounds like the usual interaction with the underwater bar.
For example if you use #7 then whatever skill you have set at the #7 underwater will also go on the same cooldown.
I’m not sure what you are saying. So for example: if I put all signets on my Mesmer underwater bar I wont have the following happen? —- when I use portal, it goes on a long CD as usual> I switch decoy out for feedback utility> feedback now has the same long CD time as portal.
