At the very least, someone should manually promote FA and demote DB next week regardless of what the randomizer pops up.
WTB this.
I would love to see this too. Would like to have a DB, SBI, CD match. That would be interesting.
FA, I just wonder how many of these guilds will stay with you, when season 3 hits? Will they enjoy last place in gold league, or will they jump ship for first in silver again?
I think I speak for FA when I say we couldn’t possibly care less. FA has a very solid WvW community that isn’t going anywhere. If others want to join and leave, that’s fine, but most of us have been here a very long time.
I would also request that seasons bandwagoners & server transferring gypsies not come to FA. This wouldn’t be the right fit for you or us. FA is a very stable server, we have been rank 5-8 for most of if not all of our entire existence. Alot of our people have been here since launch (including yours truly). I would only recommend FA to whomever wants a stable server with great people and community. We do not want seasons trinket hunters or people seeking easy wins. Instead we want loyal, dedicated players to join our family, and to kick kitten in T2. Our server is a true fighting server, we fight the fight!
See, a man that understands what I was trying to say. Bandwagoners are not good for servers. Getting guilds that want to come to your server, and actual be part of the family is the important thing. Hired mercs, and bandwagoners really hurt a servers stability.
FA does have a great core, and it is that core that has kept them stable. I just don’t want to see that core get rocked some, like HoD just did (and SBI and YB was after season 1).
FA, I just wonder how many of these guilds will stay with you, when season 3 hits? Will they enjoy last place in gold league, or will they jump ship for first in silver again?
If they joined FA knowing that we’re looking to go to tier 2 and they’d rather bandwagon away, there’s nothing we can do about that. Everyone knows what our goal is. People been worrying about our server’s stability for months now, just let it go. Worst case scenario, people that don’t belong in T2 helped people that do belong in T2 get there. The biggest issue for season 3 is that if it is anything like season 1/2, not just FA but how many people will play WvW period.
Season 1 and 2 brought tons of people out in WvW (some acheivement hunters, some people who were burned out on wvw, and some who just like to compete for the honor of placing high). I would consider that a success for the seasons.
The bad part of them is the mass transfers so people can get an easy win, but it is kind of like free agency in sports (many athletes do that). The free transfers a week before the season, should not be allowed again. That was rubbish.
Guilds would revolt if their members were ever forceably placed randomly across multiple shards with a restrictive way to rejoin on a single shard.
Totally agree.
What many people aren’t seeing as well, is that anet could do something to please x group, which ticks off y group, and when they try to please y group they tick off z group, and then they try to please z, and tick off x…etc…etc.
So, anet cannot listen to every little complaint, and they (and only them and NC Soft) need to decide on what they are going to do. Because, at the end of the day, it is their jobs on the line, and if they kitten off the wrong group or groups, then they lose their mortgage money.
Look at it from their eyes right now. People are playing, a lot more are liking it than not liking it, so why should they make crazy changes that could backfire. Usually the known, is better than the unknown.
Everyone here has a solution to the problem, but no one knows if their solution is really viable. They see it through their own eyes, and while some will agree with their solution, others wont.
Also, don’t forget that the majority of the wvw players do not bother reading these forums.
Only way anet could keep wvw from losing players (cause almost all games lose players), is to make it into a sport like LoL, and have some money involved.
Other than that, numbers will decrease til they stabilize with the players who actually want to play the game for what it is.
Just remember, we used to have match up volatility, and people complained. So, Anet made the random matches less volatile. Now, we have people complaining about matches being stale.
This is why anet should not listen to everyone.
As the saying goes,
You can’t please all the people all of the time, only some of the people some of the time.
Still looking for some good people to join our SBI/OCX core group. Plenty of fights to be had with FA, and soon DB (and maybe CD).
Come join the server that doesn’t back down from a hard match, and a hard fight.
Because My server HOD imploded so bad, I did make the jump to FA. The only reason I did so, is I can find others on the map at the hours I play WvW. To say buyer’s remorse is a understatement. I have no desire to be part of a team that simply steam rolls everyone. I want a nice close fight. Blow outs are no fun for anyone. Its a Lose/Loose situation. In my defense, Been more than a few times while in a tower, seen a enemy zerg getting ready to cap it, Not only did not I not defend it, Said nothing to my team mates about it. Its just a game, I want everyone to have fun, I don’t wanna steam roll some small zerg, I been on the other side of that fence, its frustrating and no fun………
Oh, I forget to mention….you server didn’t implode that bad. They are still, at least t5, which is where they started.
Imploding bad is HoD after launch, Ebay, and SoR recently. AR last summer. Those were bad implosions.

You make me lol.
HoD basically went to what it was before all the transfers. I don’t know if you transferred in during the free transfers, or you were already in HoD before that, but I kept saying that I felt bad for HoD because of the transfers.
Nothing good comes from it. It happened to my server, SBI, for season 1. A lot of guilds joined, we finished 3rd in the season, stayed in t3 (even made it to t2 for 1 week) then we had an exodus. Ironically, we still had our core players, and some of the people that transferred stayed, so We didn’t really drop.
The mass transfers just hurt a server, and FA will be the next to get hit. Drama follows mass transfers, and that is the truth.
If you jumped off because HoD imploded so hard, then you didn’t really know what HoD was. Everyone knew the people that bandwagoned for free 1st place rewards would leave (cough Kome cough but many others have done so as well. Now, a lot of HoD transferred to FA. It is a shame, that HoD had to suffer from the free transfer non-sense.
FA, I just wonder how many of these guilds will stay with you, when season 3 hits? Will they enjoy last place in gold league, or will they jump ship for first in silver again?
The OP suggested closing wvw “server names” down to only 2 tiers ( 6 servers)
It would be unfair to delete only lower glicko ranked servers so ;
Close all WvW server names,
Create 6 new server names,
Place all players on a server of Anet’s choice ( for gross numbers balance)
Allow one for one server swaps
( ie player A from server 1 can swap for player b from server X, once)Monitor all servers for active wvw play hrs and readjust by forced transfers.
OR
add incentives to wvw
It is an interesting idea, like many of them, but this would really kitten off a lot of the user base.
What will getting angry accomplish?
ANet has proven for almost 2 years straight now, that they will do what they want, when they want with this game, for all playstyle modes, regardless of customer experience and customer feedback/suggestions/testing.
It is their game, and they do get to do what they want.
Accept, tolerate or vote with your feet/wallet are the choices left to customers in response.
I would post more, but again, there’s no point.
Ironically, people bought this game because Anet did what they wanted to when they developed it. Somehow, people feel empowered because they play the game, and believe they should be able to dictate what the company that makes the game is doing.
We live in such an entitled society, and the reality is, no one is entitled to jack kitten in life.
Anet has to consider a lot of factors when they alter the game, not just 1 persons views. They do research, they pay attention to what is already popular in the game, they listen to people, etc. Also, whether the WvW team wants to do something or not, they have to get approval from people above them, who might not even play the game. And, in the end, it all goes back to NC Soft, who published and funded the game.
So, yeah, people can get angry, people can cry, but they should just take a business class, and maybe some game development classes, or read some articles on www.gamasutra.com about how the game industry is ran. It is always easy to be an arm chair developer, but the actual process is anything but easy.
Enjoy the game for what it is, and what you bought it for. You didn’t buy GW2 when it came out, to boss around the developers, and to make them bow down to you. No one buys a single player game, or a console / PC shooter, to boss around the company that makes those games.
Get real people. If you don’t like the game, if it is really causing you this much unhappiness, then play something else. It isn’t a job (unless you are a gold farmer), it is entertainment. If I am watching a crappy movie, I just stop it and try a different movie.
I’m not angry, because I play the game for what it is, not what I wish it to be. I don’t make the game, or work on it, and I bought it for what it was, and still play it for what it is. If the game takes a direction I don’t like, then I stop playing. It’s not like this game is my life, and my livelihood depends on it.
Well, I know server merges will eventually happen, anet can’t turn a blind eye to the problem forever, and every mmo goes through merges. They just merged all of PvE, now all we have left is our “world” for WvW.
They are trying to avoid the press about merges (hey, every troll would be all over that), but who cares at this point. Pay attention to your customers. Question is, how many will they upset. Some lower tier players have pride in their servers, and do not want to leave.
Do they just say “x server will be shut down” or “x server will not be able to accept futures transfers or new accounts” and then allow free transfers off that server til it is empty?
Do they just close some servers and merge those players into other servers?
I personally would just take worlds 13-24 and merge them into 1-12 (24 goes into 1, 23 into 2, etc, 13 into 12) so that the populations are about as equal as you can get them. Sure, coverage would always be an issue. But, that would just upset lower servers that do not want to transfer.
Allowing us to destack isn’t going to work, ever. And it is clear that lower tier servers have die hard players that don’t want to leave their servers. That is very clear.
But, the one thing that is more clear, than anything, is that the wvw population cannot support 24 server BLs, 12 EBs, and multiple EoTM maps.
Too many people on the top population servers. Solution? Merge the bottom ones, where people already enjoy playing! More misery all around!
T1 isn’t as populated as you might think. T1 now, is the pop T2 used to be last year. They don’t queue all maps each night, etc.
I know, merging those people from t8 wouldn’t make queues pop all the time. But I do see your point, because a lot of people on lower tier servers like the smaller fights. But no matter what tier you are in, zerg vs zerg is what takes place the majority of the time.
On the other hand, you don’t actually have to PvP in lower tiers, in off hours, like you would have to in a higher tier.
I agree that their plans for combining guild unlocks will remove a big obstacle for smaller guilds. Unfortunately it sounded like they won’t have that “feature” available for another 6-9 months!
And yea, if rewards were better, more people would play WvW.
Nah, a lot of PvE people just do not like PvP. I don’t really like arena stlye pvp, I like the more open, large scale kind. I liked it in WoW (back before they had battlegrounds, and open world pvp was what we had), WAR, but didn’t care for it in TESO.
Even when seasons have awards, the majority of PvE players still don’t hop into WvW to get thos rewards. Some people just do not like pvp.
WvW is losing population, because only so many people that play games actually like that feature in games. GW2 has to compete with all the MMOs that have pvp, MOBAs, and Shooter games, for the PvP crowd. Tough market, and it gets tougher every month as more games enter it.
Shame that people keep burning out. People need to take breaks, and come back, and not play GW2 like a job (which is rather hard when you are competitive).
Best of luck to you, who still play. Go out and just have fun.
But again, as far as DB rolling a match with HoD, well, HoD didn’t have that population until FA dropped to T3.
Before the start of the season, HoD certainly had the population for T2. They were queuing maps all hours of the day and probably would’ve been able to take the sixth spot in Gold above DB. And SoR’s slow decent locking them into the bottom of Silver where they had no business being… All due to glicko being unable to adjust to large population changes quickly enough.
That was because of free transfers. They didn’t have those people til then. When free transfers were announced, people looked at who was 13, and just waited to stack it. The free transfers actually went live the Tuesday update before the last week of the season, and that is why they queued maps everyday til the season started.
Well, I know server merges will eventually happen, anet can’t turn a blind eye to the problem forever, and every mmo goes through merges. They just merged all of PvE, now all we have left is our “world” for WvW.

Map cap isn’t going to help. Maybe in T1, so you can get the constant Map queue 24/7 and say it isn’t a numbers game (and T2 a little) but for the rest of WvW, map caps wouldn’t be beneficial, and would actually tick off some people on servers who would be able to queue multiple maps during primetime and not be able to play much.
Contantly queues on the stacked servers would likely force these people to move somewhere else unless they like waiting everytime they want to play. That may would make people go to lower population servers, but at this point, I think they would just quit doing WvW or the game entirely….
Didn’t happen for season 1, why do you think it would happen now? They would just stop playing the game before transferring, because many people in the higher tiers see T3 and below as inferior.
To Moderators: this is about less and less players in WvW – NOT a match-up thread. Thank You!
JQ is still alive, but not “overstacked”. It’s all relative; compared to our rivals, we look like that in SEA timezone, and almost outmanned during NA. That’s because they have even less players active lately… when we have 2 maps almost empty (except scouts) during SEA.
Most (or all) our WvW guilds gets smaller and smaller day by day, with lots of inactives, and we play less than ever – mostly logging in to meet each other and help our community. Even our “enemies” are dear these days, since good WvW players are “rare commodity” lately, and without them, “good fights” are gone. These are facts, not a “WvW is dying” cry. New players still come to WvW, but their numbers are less. This is normal sadly, and was expected. If outmanned is at home in T1, MOST of the time, then the rest of tiers are barren lands. Maybe in your timezone there is some activity from time to time, at least on one of the maps.
Also I won’t blame Anet devs… and those above them, who had the power to change things, maybe were not interested to invest more in WvW and turn it into a working RvR + GvG gamestyle. It’s about money after all, and that’s not bad in itself. We had much fun in WvW in the past, and sometimes, we still have, thanks to our great rivals. Salutes to WvW players from everywhere, for bringing life into this WvW.
This person speaks the truth. All the tiers have less players, as every mmo loses players during its lifetime. This is just natural. There will eventually be a server merge for WvW, there has to be. How Anet handles it will be interesting, cause they don’t really apply logic to some of what they do.
WHY? WHY ? it makes my heart so sad when you see someone one on one say leaving a camp and they see you….. and RUN. This is WvW its about fighting other people… are you really only here to PVE camps and pretend you are a big bad WvWer? I can understand running from a group but a one on one fight is just silly. don’t run. you will only die tired…
As someone else mentioned, some of us are built for zerg fights. I guess you feel good, being built for roaming, and killing people who aren’t. Why don’t you join the zerg fight, and see how long you stand.
lmao, SBI would triple CDs score. YB would triple CDs score. FA would triple YBs score (and will this week).
Look at how close CD and HoD are right now, and you think that CD could compete with YB?
Seriously, the tiers haven’t sorted themselves out post season (with transfers happening, and the people who only play for seasons disappearing). FA will move to t2, they certainly recruited enough of HoD and other guilds to get there. SBI will stay in T3, the question is, will it be YB or IoJ in T3 with them (unless CD is for real, but history has proven them to be weekend warriors, but we will see this week). T4 is a little more cloudy. IoJ or YB will be T4, while we don’t know about HoD, CD, or BP yet.
T5, well, GoM is a lock for that, along with either CD, HoD, or BP. The other server will either be NSP or SF.
I don’t follow too much past silver, but I do pay attention, and T6 will most likely have either NSP or SF, along with DR and probably DH. Then after that, it remains to be seen. Will SoR settle in T7? What will happen with the rest of the servers in that range?
The uneveness is brought on by the players. not anet. The only time I know that anet had purposefully created the uneveness was season 2, when they offered free transfers before the season, to select servers. Now, the uneveness is being created by the players, transferring from one server to another.
It is how it is, and I am on SBI. Most of SBI understands that we wont compete with DB, or FA. We lost many players in Feb, and we aren’t going to be able to hang with T2 servers. Most of IoJ and YB understand that as well when they face FA.
Some players don’t show for that week, some do. You can have some great fights when facing FA (and some really bad ones too). The people that come out and play during the weeks with FA, know we are going to lose, but we come to have fun. There is something satisfying about wiping them, and they just keep bringing more numbers, because they can’t win a fair fight (and a lot of the guilds that transferred to FA, suffer this problem). They do have some great guilds though, that put up some really good fights.
Was a fun server to fight in the season, when our numbers were closer.
Had some fun fights with IoJ during the season as well.
Blew out CD, NSP, BP too much during the season, and got Blown out by HoD.
It is what it is.
Well, that would only apply to the 1 week before the season. Their were only 4 t2 servers before that. The drop off between DB and SBI in T3 was huge (and let’s not forget SoR was drowning in that match for weeks). SB was artificially inflated by SoR, and while the glicko points they bleed off of SoR was massive, SoR wasn’t losing them fast enough. That is what hit FA pre-season. FA dropped to T3 for that last match, and there was no chance for them to get back into T3, because of their points vs IoJ and SBI’s points. DB wasn’t going to lose many points, even if they got creamed by SoS and Mag because of the difference between their points and SoS’.
But again, as far as DB rolling a match with HoD, well, HoD didn’t have that population until FA dropped to T3.
I’m not on EBay, I’m on SBI.
The reason they are low is ranking has nothing to do with just their prime time numbers, but the rest of their coverage. EBay was hit hard after season 1, where a ton of their players mass transferred off. I think it was to SoS.
Map cap pops wont help crap, and will actually hurt the very essence of what WvW is supposed to be. It is supposed to be large scale warfare, and have a limit at is equal to some WoW BGs isn’t really large scale.
Also, 50 person map cap isn’t going to help when a server like FA, can fill up multiple 50 persons maps during NA off hours, while YB and SBI would be able to fill 1 if we were lucky.
Well, while season 1 promoted server stacking, it was happening way before season 1. As T1 servers were losing numbers, they were pillaging guilds to replenish them. Season 1 had guilds transfer to servers, but it really wasn’t until a few months after season 1 that stacking really took its toll. Whole servers were crushed by transfers, others weren’t crushed by lost a lot of players. There was a massive mass exodus, that hit multiple servers, even before season 2 was announced. Where did all those players go? DB (who was t4 at the time), SoS, Mag, JQ, BG, TC, and to a smaller extent FA.
Then a week before season 2 saw the wonderful free transfers, and the FA exodus.
Now, after season 2, we are seeing more movement.
I can’t blame seasons for all the mass movement, since it has been happening since WvW has been in existence. Anyone remember when HoD, SBI, IoJ, SoS, and others were in T1 and T2, and fell during the period between launch and the end of free transfers? Anyone remember Kaineng? DB (who suffered and exodus and got some guilds, and benefitted from YB, SBI, SoR, and FA having exodus’ to get back to T2).
Don’t blame seasons on something that has been around since the game has launched. Players do what they do, and you can hold Anet accountable, but in reality, it is the players who are accountable for transferring.
Good guild. They came to SBI during Season 1, and stayed for a few months after before heading to an EU server. Enjoyed playing with them, and they are great when it comes to teamwork.
Agree with Shini. Basically im just saying bring back the 24/7 Fights in T1. This is my last reply as this thread is getting trolled and derailed by lots of people.
I have never logged on and not been able to find a fight. If you really can’t find someone just set up some siege in bluevale and start attacking bay, I guarantee someone will show up.
Do you really mean you can’t find a blob to join up with?
I think he is just frustrated, like YB, IoJ, and SBI are when we face FA right now. During the afternoon, it will really be 80-100 vs 30-40. We get ran off the map. It is what it is. The difference between T1 and T3 right now, is that TC, JQ, and BG are at a relative strength to each other, and FA has received so many transfers since the league has ended that they are a legitament t2 server.
We get the same thing when we go against GoM. It just makes it that much more satisfying when we take out 3 times our numbers in a fight. Will we ever beat them in PPT? Of course not, but we also never have to look for a fight.
I think it’s just a different mentality.
That is how a lot of us in SBI look at it. We are outnumbered, but we are going to go out, and we are going to fight. We don’t turtle in the keeps, with tons of siege (we do use siege, but not like YB), we go out, we fight. Of course, we always think there is a chance we will lose an engagement when it is lopsided, but, it sure does feel kitten good when you are wiping the floor with them
That would be ez but Ar has Lost more Guild’s. there some good one’s still around just at night time on some Nights there not that much ppl on.
So if AR has lost guilds, then why blame EBay for you troubles?
I’m not sure how the game treats this situation but what happens if someone is downed and they log out. I have a feeling it doesn’t give any stomp points. This can be abused in PPT focused matches so one server denies the other thousands of points.
Go kill more yaks, to make up for the loss of the few people that alt+f4 to avoid stomps.
I am so glad that I don’t play in a tier that gives a kitten about that junk. Even during the season, in silver league, no one was alt+f4 to avoid stomps, because of points. kittened.
If a person wants to deny you a point, at a cost of his convience, then so be it. But, I am sure that the whole zerg that you killed, is not exiting the game to avoid being stomped.
Anyways, most the time, in a zerg fight, the first few that drop are focused down, and it is usually after the battle is less hectic, and more under control when stomps start to happen. All those thousands of points you are losing, due to focusing enemies down.
Agree with Shini. Basically im just saying bring back the 24/7 Fights in T1. This is my last reply as this thread is getting trolled and derailed by lots of people.

Since my last post was deleted, I just want to point this out.
T1 has the best coverage of all tiers. All 3 servers in those tiers have different times when they are stronger than the other servers, which allows for the possibility of a different winner each week.
Now, if you think it is bad in t1, with +70, you should come down and see the FA/SBI/YB match (especially during the week), or how about that Devona’s Rest match.
We all know about the coverage issues, and yeah, it is easy for us people in kitten, T3 (and maybe T4) to call for server merges, when all we want is to swallow up other servers to push our coverage even further (but it wont help, their will still be coverage issues).
No one seems to ask if the players in T5, T6, T7, or T8 want to merge into the higher tiers. Some people have fought for their servers since day 1 (or early on in the game) and they have pride in that. Why do they not matter in this talk?
WvW has always been a numbers game, and always will be. Was it ok when TC dominated servers in T2 every week for months? With superior coverage? Somehow, T1 changes peoples perspectives. Maybe it is the competitive nature of being in T1 that creates these politics, but most of the wvw community has come to terms with coverage issues, and we just go out and have fun.
The area we added to Obsidian Sanctum was in progress prior to the incident mentioned above
lol, I’m not buying that.
Much like science, you don’t have to believe it for it to be true.
LMAO, most of science isn’t even true, most of it is comprised of theories, that have not been disproven (or proven for that matter).
It has come to the point that as WvW has not received real updates since launch that we ourselves would not mind doing the testing.
I can appreciate that many people don’t like EotM, but don’t conflate a lack of updates that you personally like with a lack of updates. WvW has added a great deal of content and rewards over just the last calendar year.
Hopefully you will find more you like in future updates and we’ll continue to add to the game.
He has a point here. Whether or not we have gained as many updates as PvE, is irrelevant, because PvE has a larger active population. But, if you look at sPvP and WvW, they are pretty close in terms of updates.
I appreciate everything that they give me, considering I don’t have to pay for these updates. The wvw user base that is active on this forum, is starting to sound like some trashy customer at McDonald’s, complaining about everything at the counter. It’s freaking annoying.
Rant off.
On another topic, how about you drop some news on when we will actually see something new in WvW Devon.
That 100 rating didn’t come out of nowhere we gained a handful of guilds because of seasons and some of them stayed
The post-season rating difference between ranks 6 and 7 is an artificial creation from leagues. Being the bottom of Gold is like saying the bottom of T8 is great because there’s no one to fight below it.
Nah, you guys were low during the leagues, because,
1) the glicko system is pure garbage, and while they share their algorithm, it still makes no kitten sense when implemented (kind of like, how reset can’t happen on the hour like it is supposed to)
2) FA lost to HoD a lot, and even to IoJ, plus had a close match against SBI, that lowered their rankings a lot.
3) FA keeps getting a 10 ranked server in their match, with the 8 or 9th server. They have to blow us out by a lot, in order to keep increasing.
4) DB is still close to SoS each match, and Mag, which keeps them from losing a lot of points.
5) Glicko is garbage and it doesn’t make any kitten sense.
This is the effect of…
1) free transfers
2) gold league being only 6 servers
3) ratings isolation cause of leagues (servers at the league borders being prevented from fighting each other)
4) slow glicko adjustments for population changes
5) WvWvW’s lack of teams of roughly equal sizeGoing to PvE might be a good idea. Wait until the ratings adjustments finally blow over.
I have to disagree with you on this Chaba. FA went out, and recruited like crazy when the season was over. You guys want T2, and you will get it. But until then, it is k-train central for you guys, and for SBI (who gets stuck with you because somehow that random number generator knows SBI is really supposed to be 8th not 10th, put us there), and either IoJ or YB, we just have to suffer through another week of 40-60 vs 20-30. It is what it is.
A lot of us on SBI, just go out, and enjoy wiping your HoD transfers
Been some good fights, we know we are gonna lose, so it is just about going out and having fun. No pressure on us.
But, glicko rankings will stabilize, HoD imploded, while FA became the bandwagon they have hated for so long (all them HoD people too). But, in reality, no one should hate FA. They know what they want, they did what it took to get it. They are playing the way they want to, and that is good for them.
And Chaba, I haven’t seen you much in WvW the past few weeks, where ya been?
Well, let us be honest here. T1 is stagnant. Always the same matchup outside of seasons. And the more you recruit guilds to t1, the more stagnant it will stay.
T2 is stagnant. The same matchup as well. FA is recruiting hard to get back into t2, and then DB will drop down to 3. The matchups might be more random for a short time, but, t2, also suffers from t1 stagnation, due to how they recruit for coverage as well.
T3 and below, is more random. The matchups have been different every week (except for t5 atm) since the season ended. If you don’t like being in the same matchup, you need to transfer.
Atleast in T1, the outcome can be different each week, unlike T2, where it is the same match, with the same outcome, every week.
good guild. loved them on HoD and wish them the best on JQ.
people are quite brave on the forums, as you can tell from the posters above lol
You haven’t fought them like some of us had. The moment people come to fight them, kome puts their tail between their legs and logs off. If they don’t have anyone defending against them, then sure they can pvd well.
Witnessed that a few times.
Well, DDLG and KWBH picked blue bl, before reset. When reset hit, it just happened to be IoJ we zoned into.
After a short while in IoJ BL, DDLG left to hit FA BL to put some pressure on them, and it worked. KWBH eventually went to SBI BL to clean it up. Then, when late NA hit, we were doing well (actually getting the most PPT in late NA, early OCX).
IoJ and SBI know that we wont beat FA. But, plenty on SBI wanted to face FA, cause they wanted better fights than what they got last week.
Also, IoJ loves to target us…and well, we gotta get them back for that last defeat
Don’t ask people on the forums about WvW. A lot of people troll these that don’t even play WvW anymore.
Also, usually only people who like to complain come here.
GW2 is free to play, since you already bought it, so just log back in and see for yourself.
Gonna bump this as well.
SBI talked an awful lot of kitten about Olaf on their forums to try to welcome him back on his recruitment thread. To be expected from SBI…
Yeah, some people were out of line in that thread, but so is your post here.
The consensus seems to be that many in the OCX/SEA would like to have him back, but they are not willing to pay for the transfer.
Of course, you aren’t privy to the private discussion that took place as well.
I like the tourneys. Adds some competition. Funny, how some servers only show up for the season, and then they go back into hibernation post season.
1800Gems to transfer is unreasonable. Seasons are over Anet you need to fix this issue.
That is why it is 1800. During the season, only a few servers costed more than 1800, while the rest were 1400 or 1000.
Just come to SBI, we already have one of your old guilds here, you can come join them.
Here on SBI, we have a different WvW culture than some other servers. We have gone through 2 exodus, and have come out stronger as a community. After the last exodus, we have grown into a tight knit family. We believe that WvW is to be played for fun, not as a job. We value homeland defense, and we love our 3rd in EB. We believe in teamwork, and communication, and even a majority of our pugs are using our public team speak now.
We aren’t looking to get a huge influx of transfers, in order to rise up in tiers. We have no desire to push for t2 or t1. What we desire is having fun, and being competitive with the servers in our tiers.
We have many different play styles on SBI, from roaming, to havoc, to zergs. We have people that like fights, and people that like PPT, and people that like K-training. We value them all, and they all work together for the common good of our server, and our community.
With that being said, our family needs to grow some in SEA/OCX. We would love to have more like minded individuals for our Koreans, Australians, Americans, and others who play during that time.
If you are looking for home, that will treat you with dignity, will allow you to have fun and not expect you to “work”, then consider SBI. If you want a family environment, then come chat with us.
you can contact any of these people in the game, if you have any questions about SBI,

The fact that pver’s transfer to the “most likely winners” is enough to just cut it.Eitherwise Double the transfer costs so they have to think twice about doing so.These bandwagon whores ruin wvw and the tourney for what it is.
Really ? Im allowed to say whores…lol.
delete and infract me in 5 …4….3..I dont caaaareeeeeeeeeeee.
Honestly, more people transferred to TC, SoS, Mag, and DB before this season started, than they did to HoD. You should really stop hating the those people.
Some of our servers have people who want to transfer into them, and it isn’t for winning, it is because they want to move now that the season is over. The point of these threads are for Anet to get rid of the tournament related costs and EoTM lockout, since the tourney is over.
I finished tied for 4th in Silver, and I’m not bashing HoD like you are. Get over it.
T3 and lower are deemed the lower tiers these days.
Xilllix, I didn’t know you posted on here
How is life in your new guild?
Yeah, Chaba, my server has it worse. Sitting at 11th, with a 2400 price tag, while YB and HoD are ahead of us. IoJ is at 2400 also.
