If you go condi: you can use condi DMG, Vit and Toughness and still do the same dmg as Direct DMG which doesn’t seem… fair?

Since before you could get 300 300 100 from trait lines now they are all base line.
You cant just pull 1 stat when 4 was buffed for you. (two witch buffs the other 2 you use to deal damage )
Were is condi damage base 500 stat to make it in line with power/precision stats?
Actually no that is not how the patch works, your base stats with out gear were bumped from 926 to a round 1k. you did not get +300 to every stat. The rest of the stats comes from gear and the cap remains the same.
So if you feel to squishy and want more armor, guess what, get more armor.

Same rule applies, where you now get 300 crit lets say, you dont get 300 armor and vice versa.
You can still put those extra points into toughness instead of crit if you want, nothing is in the way of you doing it.

Other than burning can you explain to me how conditions are OP now? Bleed was nerfed, so if it wasn’t OP before the patch then it is fine now. Are you saying torment is doing too much damage? poison?
People keep saying that conditions are the cause of this crazy damage yet say nothing about:
1. 4 extra traits for everyone, usually including 1-2 +10% direct damage traits
2. Buff to zerker gear
3. stackable quickness (i’ve had up to 50s of quickness at teq….)
4. Boon spam everywhere (guards, rangers and thieves can stacks 20 MINUTES of fury)Once again, burning needs a significant damage reduction, but I have not heard a single argument against the other conditions yet…
That’s true, but if they buff zerker gear means more raw power, players are already doing much more damage on melee (toughness in wvw feels like playing almost zerker already…), and yeas by condi i ment burns, since i mostly play guardian forgot other classes had more condis to use besides fire :P
(sidenote) i didnt spend much time on spvp but some condis there can make some pressure and felt like playing gw1 it was really cool.
This is wrong. The only players getting benefit from more power are the ones that previously did not invest in the trait line that gave power. The people that did get the exact same raw power as they did before mainly 2300. So while yeah in average there is a bit more damage going around, but the bigger numbers are not due to extra power stats from gear.

So extra damage is not coming from The Raw power Stat.
There arent extra stats points int the game, they simple changed source. Damage is coming elsewhere.

Please for the love of all that is holy Warrior Shouts can not scale 1 to 1 with HP AND start at 1k. Healing power is a useless stat. Having skills that require you to invest heavily on it, specially since you do not have the pve flexibility in SPVP regarding stats, only serves to break those skills and traits.
They do not need to be awesome, but you need to consider that not everybody that used shouts before run celestial gear, specially not in PVE. With this change you have pidgeonholded every warrior into either the default stance based high burst builds which are entirely CD dependent and the exact reason while i did not play them or a Celestial Condition based builds.
Please as a suggestion, make them base 1.5k heals and scale 1 to 1/2 healing power. Damage has overall increased across the board, reducing shouts to 1.5k from the previous 1750 average is already a nerf.
So can i PVE is about grinding gear for WvW any way. I like doing it faster.
Banners are unusable on WvW.
You don’t need 25 stacks to hit 1705. If you’re healing for 1560 with celestial, then you need roughly 14 stacks. Very doable. Most shotubow builds only run 2 shouts since a stance or endure pain is better than a third shout in most situations. You’re not losing much healing at all. 400-800healing every 24 seconds…not a big deal.
Err yes it is, its 40 to 80% more.
you know they kittened up when you go back to guardian because warrior is as thin as paper now.
Should have stayed at 1500, it was already a nerf due to the lack of +healing.
1K healing for shouts makes them useless.
Gonna give it a shot for a couple of hours, but most likely shout builds of any kind are essentially dead.

OP is objectively demonstrated wrong by GW1 and Arena net previous work and releases.
It will be compatible, but you will not get any extra performance out of directx12.
The current UI with all that painterly stuff is so outdated, it screams 2007 and to be honest, this game would be 100% better if you made it more modern…

3. A clearly defined current target. As it stands our current target can be easily obscured by particle effects to the point where we have no idea what it is doing. This could easily be solved by making the outline that you get by hovering over a target with the mouse permanent.

The price for HOT stand alone ONLY is $50, that is the price of the expansion…. Ok, still following…… Base game is included free to make it easier for new players to get into, which is a good thing.

I just think they made a mistake I think the should have worded it like this “Contains the core game for new players” I think people would be less upset if they just thought this through a little. The price point is inline with the industry standard pricing so I don’t have a problem.
Actually no, at 30 i am ok with no extras, at 40 i am ok with it if it came with 1 slot, at 50 it has to come at least with 2. It costs them nothing and nobody would have complained.

They’re an American company financed by NCSoft (A Korean company), their publisher in most of the world. They have to answer to NCSoft, but ANet is American.
So yeah basically they are a korean company with American employees.

Yes but they came with an entire new world each(except eotn), 2 new extra clases and 2 character slots, you were litterally getting the same value of the original pluss change. Here you get a couple of zones, 1 class and that is it.
I would be ok with the price if it came with 2 character slots base. Like GW1, only we get less content and half the classes, but im willing to take it anyway. Not like this thou.

$49.99 is the standard price for a full expansion. For comparison, GW2’s original price was $59.99 and the deluxe was $79.99. Whether HoT is actually worth the price of a full expansion is another question.
I’m pretty sure GW: Eye of the North was a lot cheaper than $50. HoT being this price if you already own the base game is just silly.
Plus it had the same amount of content, you got one entire new world on every expansion and a couple of char slots pluss the new classes. Here we get what a couple of maps at most?.

What i was more interested on than the skill changes was the stats changes. Currently traits give 1400 stat points. I wanted to know where are and how are those going to come from now.

I wouldnt worry to much it say “next patch” might as well read “some day”.
If this nonsense of the hammer as a ranged weapon is so rejected (much like the Mesmer great sword) as to merit a post about it, why not simply change it to something else. People clearly do not like this.
Above all it need to
1- Slow down.
This game watches as, player1 a moves from A to B, player1 reaches A and faces player2, explosions go off, playerX wins, all in the span of 15 seconds, it is uncasteable and impossible to follow. Further more, there are no tactical choices that actually matter, no build up nothing. It kind of like American Football, its not played with the feet despite its name just like guild wars is not about guild wars, its a mess of bodies clashing with each other and watching it is not about the game but about getting drunk enough to enjoy it.
This is not so hard to address actually, pvp gear exists removed from the rest of the game, so you could easily tailor amulets to favor more defensive/bunkerish builds over offensive ones. That ought to slow the action enough for people to actually get an idea of what is happening.
and
2- Be clearer to watch/cast.
From 1 comes 2, no cast bars, too many particles and so on make it difficult for the casters to make it interesting for the watchers.

Actually i would rather voice my concerns now and may be shed some light on it, than wait the unholy amount of time it takes Arena net to fix balance issues.
