(laugh) Again, this is what the expansion people wanted. No content between expansions, remember?
Living Story sucks.
But, that said, maybe these new golems will enliven the people.
Hmmm. That would makes sense. Like Bobblehead from last year. . . .
There was a hot fix last night.
Just logged back in and yes, there were still a ton of them next to the waypoint. No idea what’s going on.
Strange. You think it could be a player exploiting something that’s not supposed to be in game yet?
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Golem_uprising
Some think this is going on . . . again.
Interesting. Now I have to take a look. . . .
Edit: There were a ton of them at Minister’s Waypoint. They very much look like the old British Redcoats.

I’d rather find out about what they’re doing with the trait system so that I can know if I should care about the expansion at all.
Hits the nail on the head.
(laugh) And now I remember why I don’t bother with guilds.
I’m not in a guild, but I think this makes sense too.
just to show how housing can be done right:

So . . . you want a ugly version of the Sims? Um . . . no thank you again.
Oh the expansion will definitely be released this year. And a ton of fixes and patches will follow. Just wait until you see all the flames on the board. It’ll be epic.
Armor and weapon skins for certain achievements and collections.
Boy has it ever. Might be best if you look over the patch notes or just play the game at this point. The new leveling system alone will turn your stomach. But, apparently, they’re changing it again come the expansion . . . if that tells you anything.
Love it. Please keep it in PvE. This will be awesome with StabilityTraining on my pets.
I kind of felt this way too. Don’t know if there was a stealth nerf, but I wouldn’t be shocked given the amount of rares we get from Silverwastes. Yes, it’s probably RNG. But I’ve also stopped salvaging rares and started to just sell them on the Trading Post.
Just made more sense.
Page fix again. . . .
Oh . . . I think I’m all for this change. Expect many tears from players who win by knocking you off a cliff.
It went the way of the dodo. Never really understood why. Maybe a lot of bad ideas? Who knows.
I love underwater combat too, but I think we’re in the minority.
I sometimes have issues with mobs as well. In certain zones, the mobs appear to teleport all over the place.
A good idea. I mean, if you can change your name, I don’t see why a guild couldn’t do it too. Happens in real life all the time.
Sigh. I really do need to stop reading these forums. . . .
I said your earlier response was such a gross over-simplification that it should be criminal. That saying does not mean I called you a criminal.
For example, “That cake was so delicious it should be criminal!”
That does not mean I called the cake a criminal.
. . .
My God. I really had to explain that? I’m bowing out of this thread for obvious reasons now.
Agreed, Zania, and well said.
Thanks. http://dulfy.net/2014/07/15/gw2-ley-line-weapons-gallery/
Code is: [&AgEG+gAA] if you want a better preview in-game.

Can’t say I’m crazy about how it looks. Which one is this exactly?
As I said before, if a mesmer helps me get to a location I couldn’t I’ll thank and tip them. It’s not a requirement, but something of a courtesy. If you don’t feel the need, that’s on you.
However, there’s no need to show your proverbial rear to the mesmer or the responders to this thread should you disagree on the means, or method, for those that do tip.
Which is pretty much what you did earlier with your sarcastic post. So please don’t get altruist about it now. You knew what you were doing when you posted your mocking reply. And it proved my point about the rude behavior and responses in this thread.
I get it. Better than you know. And, again, the opposing responses, like yours, say more than you intended.
I’ll just leave it at that.
(edited by Ardenwolfe.8590)
No thank you. Housing tends to turn cities, and their communities, into ghost towns. The hometown instant is enough. But I would like to see some trophy room in the future.
You know your response just proved my point, don’t you?
You can tell who is part of the solution, and who is part of the problem from the responses in this thread alone.
Thank you ArenaNet for block.
Just about any activity in the game helps you get achievements. Do you tip people who go out of the way to rez you, give you boons, kill something you’re having difficulty with, etc? If you want to tip, more power to you. But they’re not entitled to a tip just because they took a little time to help you and used a class skill.
That’s such a gross over-simplification for selfish behavior, it should be criminal. If a mesmer takes the time to get to the end of a jumping puzzle I cannot get to, yes I tip them and also thank them.
I know that’s crazy. Polite behavior in an MMO? Shocking. But I also tend to thank people who do give me buffs and rezzes . . . should I go into a down state which is rare.
It’s not an entitlement. It’s another form of thank you. And I find it very telling that the loudest people to balk tend to be the ones with the rudest responses in the this thread.
Which, in turn, is no shock at all.
And what are we talking? A gold? All this fuss over a single gold coin worth of appreciation for help?
That’s just sad.
(edited by Ardenwolfe.8590)
I kind of look at it this way: if you aren’t thankful enough to tip the guy or girl who helped port you to the achievement, then don’t take the portal.
Simple.
Wow . . . you opened 4.5K trick or treat bags and still didn’t get the mini? That’s just nuts.
Also, keep in mind, that legendary will probably drop in price and/or become obsolete come the expansion.
Seriously, I’d save my money for the next shiny coming in a few months.
Not a chance.
Depending on the port, I always tip a mesmer that’s willing to help. If it’s a jumping puzzle, I always tip. Just seems like the polite thing to do.
Still hopeful they’ll add it, but looks very much doubtful given all the silence.
Stop being nerds and simply dont do the achievements if its not fun.
If you force yourself into doing something that you hate, its your fault, not anets fault.
But … but … Laurel!
You don’t need five wins for the laurel.
That’s why I stop at 2 participations.
This.
(laugh) Now they’re all just in Divinity’s Reach.
I really wish. But this is like the third or fourth thread about the mini. Never once has there been an answer.
And I think that’s answer enough, don’t you?
Ah the snow and sleet. Sure enough. That explains a few things.
Will the new expansion be mostly living story stuff as well?
Sure will. The expansion continues where the Living Story Season 2 stopped with its cliffhanger. Yes, there will be non-Living Story elements. But the expansion will attempt to combine both from what we’ve been told.
It’s the reason there hasn’t, and won’t be, any Living Story updates until the expansion. Time, as far as story, has stopped until Heart of Thorns is released.
And, despite all the negativity you’re hearing here, a lot of people are eager to play it. Including those complaining.
Don’t let them fool you.
Agreed on both.
If I had to guess, any feature pack or fix will be included in or with the expansion when it’s released. Nothing else, as far as updates, will come about until then because it wouldn’t make any sense.
Heart of Thorns is the focus for now. Everything else is moot. This iddy-bitty seasonal event didn’t tell everyone that already?
I’d just like it if they un-nerfed them back to the way they were, myself.
Not to point out the dreadfully obvious, but this ain’t Final Fantasy nor whatever that other nonsense was. This is Guild Wars 2. And, after three years, I sure hope people know what to expect.
(edited by Ardenwolfe.8590)
It was a very common opinion, actually. Not zero updates in between – especially if you’re including things like balance patches – but no more living story, or major delivery of content outside expansions.
Which we argued wouldn’t make any sense. No content updates for months or years between? And they said, yes. That’s what we want.
I know, I know. But that was their stand on it.
And here we are.
A lot of isolated cases, I suppose.
Then you weren’t paying attention a few months ago.
GW2 has attracted a certain bunch of idiots. I don’t remember ever doing daily dungeons in GW and seeing GWAMM’s ONLY or getting ridiculed for not having R10 Luxon/Kurzick when doing associated activities.
You’re not a bad player, you’re just playing with bad people (aka whiney kids with lots of time on their hands).
Amen.
