If you’re talking about tiers, is the tier 1 matchup the one with the current #1 NA server, or the one with numbers 2 and 3? What if 1, 2 and 3 are all split up?

I thought of doing a real response too, but public forums aren’t really a place for this kind of feedback. However I disagree that they are far behind, just lacking in a few aspects.

Hey, if you’re not willing to post in the open forums, send me a PM. Not just Lrn2Play, but if you have serious constructive criticism, I’m totally up for hearing what we do wrong and how to improve. Don’t take the vocal minority on the forums for what all of the players are like. Some of us LIKE hearing what we do wrong so we can kitten fix it.

Also, my comment on siege was re: open-field ballistæ and arrow carts, not on keep/tower siege. Totally go for siege caps there, I don’t care, it’s how the game is designed for defense. But when we’re ~even numbers in open field, or you outman us, open field siege is just unnecessary, imho.

So you have a 50% chance to get T6 materials, ecto don’t count as ‘rarer materials’ and have their own probability to drop. Average drop rate using BLSKs is 1.25 per rare item if item level is 68 or greater.

That said, sometimes you get bad luck. Sorry :s

Actually, we’re fairly happy in Tier 2 (not that tiers really exist anymore)

That said, BG+SoR would be quite fun, albeit a HUGE uphill battle.

I wouldn’t mind our old standard DB+FA though, for some serious fighting and even competition.

Ok, so I don’t have a widescreen monitor, but in WvW last night, when we had full guild tower boons, a heroes banner down, my food buffs, sigil stacks and I was attunement swapping (I’m an ele main), my passive effects kept sliding off the right side of my screen, not wrapping to a new line when they hit the edge. I’m not sure if this is an effect of playing in windowed-fullscreen or not, but I’m hoping that a wrapping fix could be applied here based on screen resolution. Ideally the effects would wrap before they pass underneath the loot acquisition area (or map screen, I guess, if people run that on the bottom of their screen.)

The only issue I have with bust-size, is that the female heavy armor styles just don’t practically WORK. You put a sharp indent in the middle of the chest, and you’re just asking for a broken sternum as soon as any blow hits your chestplate.

WTB flat-chested plate armor for females.

I assume CC = Customer Care, as there are a few red-names that have that prefix.

ive constantly run against the guilds the same size as urs like MERC and ATM.
i can tell u one thing, u guys come out and fight, tough it would be ncie if u could run with a little less nos for a while so we dont get huge lagfest.

I don’t think Nightlight sleeps much, and when he’s on, he always has a strong following, ‘cause you get LOOT if you can stay on his tag as he pushes. Also, he’s really fun to listen to in Mumble. ♥

CERN was running defense on Bay in SoRbl, and rest assured we always want to fight the largest numbers we can handle; usually 1-2 times our numbers, depending on co-ordination of our opponents.

All I have to say is: holy kitten you folks have a ton of necros in your zergs. Wells EVERYWHERE. Mistforming through them all ahead of the zerg is fun, though. watching all those ’Invulnerable’s pop up on your screen must be frustrating as I pop them all to no effect.

I’ve learned that Cleric ele is amazing in z v z fights, potentially superior to PVT in survivability. Those water fields and regens become a little OP at 1800 healing power.

So… what’s the news? Where are you headed?

RoG for wvw as an ele with no better elite in zerg v zerg fights. PBAoE chill and poison as you mist-form through a zerg of 70 is quite fun.

I think a lot of it is who we are facing as much as the challenge. TC and FA got to where they are by never say die attitudes. Neither server was blessed with large block transfers (though they have done alright in this regard over the last 2 months) but stayed competitive by simply staying tough.

We’re not going to shame ourselves by not doing the same. We will continue to come at you, using new strategies, constantly probing for weaknesses; and we will be all over you every time one of you blinks.
We aren’t going to win, but we aren’t going to make it easy either.

This is why I like fighting you, SoS. Make it as hard as you can. We won’t pull punches, and we hope you don’t just sit back and take them. Come out (and go down) fighting, every hour, every day.

[CERN] will be pushing hard into every red-name zerg we see, no matter which server you’re from. The bigger the zerg, the more we want to run into you.

Now that I’ve woken up again, that fight last night in SMC (TC vs FA) was AMAZING. It was what, 50 minutes of solid fighting? So much fun, so much wxp, so many loot bags despawned .

I don’t see why this needs to be nerfed. What’s the point in farming wxp if you’re not participating in fights to use it. :P Good trade off in my opinion. You may be leveling your skill,s, but you’re not helping your server while you do so.

Best wxp farm is zergbusting anyway. I gained a rank and a half in under an hour fighting FA in SMC last night. Plus 5 gold in lootbags (and nothing lost in repairs.)

12. S garrison inner gate never upgrades, and doesn’t contest the keep when under attack.

13. Commander icon appears under party icons (which appear under ally icons) on the minimap, making it very difficult to follow.

Yup, our tier is amazing, and I’ll be sad to see the shuffle come. Fighting new servers will be a change of pace, for sure, but long, hard, competitive fights are what I live for. Epic (and even) zerg vs zerg fights, 3-way keep battles, open-field shenanigans and risk/reward management when assaulting objectives while others are under attack. I have a weird love/hate relationship with both FA and DB, and I’ll miss the good times we spent together.
Let’s make the last couple of days memorable and amazing.

Hey [Agg] – I love fighting you folks. So much fun, reminds me of running up against War Machine. You guys are VERY good at what you do (mostly killing people, to be honest. ) Great fights in TCBL garrison all 4 times we pushed in, yes even the three times we wiped before finally getting a foothold. Thanks to FA for being the perfectly timed, albeit unknowing, distraction there, too.

After that we hopped to EBG to have great fun in SMC and Overlook. [CERN] looks forward to many more epic nights in the future. This whole “no seige” thing makes for some amazing fights.

Looks like the top to bottom priority of commander tags, party dots, and player dots was reversed. The green dots are covering my party members and the commander tag.

I agree this is what it looks like is happening. I’m assuming it’s something to do with the sPvP change to the minimap for spectator mode that prioritises player markers over objectives. Please change this back, it’s making WvW exceedingly frustrating (especially when partied with, or close to, the commander you want to stay near.)

10g per hour is pushing it a bit, but 8g is perfectly reasonable (6-7 runs at 1g26s each run). Asura thief, I think, is the fastest. And people with digital deluxe edition have a personal golem banker, where they should have 0-req weapons (2 daggers and sb) and a fast way to deposit their gold after each run. That’s what I used for farming SAB heavily, anyway

Other than the horrendous lag and trying to get people into one overflow, I don’t mind this rush. I’m glad our guild doesn’t need the merits right now, though, ‘cause getting an Anders bounty, the karka challenge or this rush isn’t friendly at all.

So, I have a ticket that I haven’t spent yet, and I’m not sure what I want to spend it on. How long will the fused weapon specialists remain in the world for me to redeem this ticket? Are they around indefinitely so I can hang onto it until I get another character to the point where I’d want to use it on them?

Upgrade status on objectives would be awesome. Just the readily visible ones: wall, door and waypoint upgrades. Nothing that you can’t see from the map or from running by.

Would it be possible to get contested/uncontested status for all waypoints, and waypoint status for WvW keeps (built/unbuilt, not contested status for WvW.)

The FoE wvw map is pretty high resolution if it’s still up and running.

Hit and target boxes are the same size of all professions/races.

Give the guards the same ability the molten protectors have. Invulnerability shield to any NPC (NOT PLAYER) within their radius for 30 seconds, 30s cooldown, guards are subject to pull/push/launch effects, Yaks have “Unstoppable” – same as risen abominations. This guarantees you have to kill the guards first.

I wish my PC could handle recording. New dungeon solo is a load of fun (on my Ele, might try my Me this evening, but the end bosses will likely be a bit harder)

After doing it solo:
- lots of thrash
- not enough waypoints (yea, enemies are a threat when solo)
- npc’s tanking inside Molten Protectors shield (try launch/knock and they just run back in).
- npc’s needing to be with you when rescuing prisoners (or dungeon gets stuck).
- lots of control, sometimes I felt like a pingpong (ok I’m fine with this but it’s often complained about).
– weird aggro (sometimes you can split groups, sometimes all come in).

Doesn’t seem that much different than original dungeons, only a lot easier.

What class did you solo as? I just did it on my ele and it’s pretty easy, I agree. Lack pulls/pushes as ele makes the protector fights really long, waiting for air 3 to come off cooldown on staff, or air 5 on s/d, but not overly challenging if you’re using the terrain to your advantage.

ETA: The worst is when you push a protector out of his bubble and then Braham knocks them straight back in with his kitten shield bubble. >.<

Uhm, no. Some of the changes are sPvP splits, yes, but some of them are sPvP/WvW/PvE-wide (like RTL and mist form.)

Uhm, cantrips weren’t nerfed. The trait ‘cleanse a condition on applying regen’ was given an ICD. The fact that you now have no mass condition removal spike just puts Ele’s on par with all other classes.

RTL cooldown is going up 5s, yes. Not that big a deal. You’re still getting into and out-of combat at almost the same rate, it’s just your reset is gonna take longer if you can’t find an ambient/PvE mob to RTL into when you’re on your escape phase.

As a main ele I’m ok with the changes, and I hope this will balance the class a bit better. d/d and s/d bunker ele are a little OP as they currently stand, leaving no room to run other builds.
