They should have been placed in the HoT story, proper achievements and through the new zones. The adventures have nothing to do with anything, yet are 30, THIRTY, mastery points.

The problem is that they are adding very little other than gemstore stuff. They need better balance.

They should test their patches themselves, instead of testing them on us.

The live server environment would be different than the test server environment. So when the patch goes live, sometimes things will happen that don’t happen on a test server. This happens in every single game with test servers, btw, not just Guild Wars 2.

We have a mega server system. Even if they have hundreds of people testing the game (I have no idea how many do test), that means there will only be a certain number of servers spawning.

When it goes live and there are 10,000 players or more playing at one time, you’ll get more servers spawning and if the bug happens only then, only then can they fix it.

That excuse only works for some of the issues. Most of them are ones they should be able to catch themselves. There was even one time killing someone in PvP caused everyone to crash.

You can farm orbs by doing events in zones that have orbs as map rewards. Obviously it’ll take a long time, but then it’s a legendary. Or you can farm gold and buy them. At least now there’s an option to do something besides that.

What zones? I have never seen orbs as a map reward.

Aren’t eles ridiculously mobile and with insane healing sustain. Aren’t they pretty much taking the same role as thief where you +1 but instead of being selfish like a thief, an ele brings boons out the wazzoo and make everyone on your team unkillable.

Tempests are the least mobile thing in PvP.

I was already destroying eles with my reaper before the epic ele nerf, and I suck at necro, so GG Anet ruining this game.

I’m pretty sure those eles couldn’t use DS or you weren’t condi/cele. Or they were just bad. Before the change I didn’t die to a necro once.

Anyways, never listen to anyone who tells you to use Ether Renewal, worst heal ele has.

Just tested it out. It was a bad as I feared. You have to be physically hit while above 75% health. It is absolutely useless now.

It will probably clean a random condition, like every condition clean skill.
But…ehy… it’s a free condition remove every 1 sec (in a fight you will always be hitted, by high or low amounts).
If someone spam conditions on you he have to hit you, then every sec you remove a condition why he’kittenting you.
The well of necro hit you when corrupt your boon, then proc your diamond skin, yes. The well corrupt a boon and the DS clean a condition (not only the new one, I think).

It is not ‘free’, it costs a Grandmaster trait.
It is only above 75% health, which is never in this new burst/CC meta.
A condition burst will just kill you, and people are not stupid enough to keep hitting you after doing it. Not that you will be above 75% health…

You have to get struck in order to have condis on you in the first place.

If you have 3 conditions on you, you have to be physically hit 3 times to remove them. With a cooldown of 1 second. Oh and you have to be above 75% health.

The trait is absolute trash now.

You now have to be STRUCK for it to activate. An ele getting struck is NOT above 75% health. And what is up with Anet’s obsession with making eles have to get struck to do anything?

Well, it was OP. Of course Anet killed it off and mangled its corpse, instead of balancing it.

In case you didn’t catch Evan’s post last week, I just wanted to remind everyone that PvP League Season One (including the Guild Challenger League) will end on January 26 at 00:00 UTC (4pm Pacific on Jan 25). There will be a one hour grace period after 4pm to allow any in-progress matches to complete and then the season will officially end.
