They need to put all these stupid new currencies and items in our wallet and collection. Why are machetes, etc not in the wallet? They are scribing mats, etc not in the collection?
Yeah. Only one choice for grandmaster, two for master and maybe two for adept. It is pretty lame.
I did it with 2 other guildies and it worked. Full credit, favour, etc.
Basic materials to make armor insignias and sigils should not be so rare if the numbers required are as they are with the Pearls.
My point is that no armor stat set should be so much harder to craft or so much more expensive than others, the same goes for sigils, they are basic items. Looking at you too Zealots…
I guess Anet disagrees with you, which is fundamental here; they have created the game and the TP in a way that doesn’t allow them to control the price for specific mats. This makes your point completely irrelevant. They have also implemented a way for players to choose how to buy things based on how they value time and money to allow players to optimize how they decide to purchase things. Neither of those two things are going to change I can assure you.
Anet controls the prices.
Wasted.
I would question how much Anet cares about us, outside of the gemstore. HoT has been disappointing so far.
Gliding doesn't work well enough when you lag

That picture above is dead accurate.
Actually, if they made gliding, mushrooms, sanctum powers, etc CLIENT side, just like jumping, these issues would disappear.
I play on an old laptop from New Zealand. You just have to get used to it.
That said, the Wintersday one is bad because it forces you to use the horrible in-combat movement, instead of the OOC one.
In combat speed is barely a problem here because this jumping puzzle design with that in mind. There is no large gap jump that you require to be in normal speed to pass.
In fact . It’s make some section like small pole jump easier.
It feels horrible, and you have to build momentum. In combat jumping is just sluggish and should never be the basis of any jumping thing.

After failing quite many times, I have achieved at least the level of cruising through the snowflake flatforms without even thinking about it. the boxes are one of the worst parts of the thing imo, I could never figured out the pattern, through strangely I got through quite frequent. And the absolute worst part of the puzzle: OTHER PEOPLE! gosh, so many distraction and charrs and norns are so big they can obstruct your views of the platforms.
There is no pattern. It is based on how many people are going through the gingerbread part. Reddit has a thread about it.
I would like to see that thread, because it sounds stupid and wrong. Also not effectively trackable, nor confirmable. It is more likely that it’s based on time, either actual time or timer time.

When you regularly speed run this puzzle you can find all kinds of small shortcuts, patterns in the exploding presents, timing of the snowflake respawns, etc. There’s absolutely a puzzle aspect to it.
Not really. You learn to roll when passing a snowman. That is basically it.
If that’s all you can think of then you have no idea what I’m talking about.
Nice double post, champ. And yes, that is basically all you learn. Rest is just normal running and jumping.

With masteries now released, I seriously doubt it. Maybe double exp for under 80s only.
It is not a puzzle. It also needs more servers and better server software.
Oh and making it a STUCK IN COMBAT area, complete with the horrible in-combat movement was a masterstroke, Anet…
a) unable to complete JP due to physical disabilities
Then how do they play the rest of the game when its just basic movement skills in JP I wonder?
Its rather sickening the lengths people will go in order to minimize effort for a petty item.
You joking? I can play this game with one finger.
Get a QA department, and stop relying on the players and your good server infrastructure to handle everything.
They wont run out as theres a constant flow of them into the game from the login rewards. It will balance out with people paying to make the skin/people waiting to collect their own coins and people willing to sell their login reward to make some gold.
i agree, when we get down to the last 5k, we can get nervous. til then, i think it’s balanced ok
Getting there…
Shoulders take 150. If only 1000 people made them, that is more than is currently on the TP.
Looks like 50k were just dumped on the TP. Will be interesting to see if the supply can keep up.
Good.
The latest Snow shoulders require 150, and there are only 80k in the TP. Can you please add more ways to acquire these? They are still critical for Legendaries, and they are going to run out.
The game took 5-6 years because they were building the engine, designing professions, etc. Not sure why you are comparing that to an expansion…
Impale sucks. Has like one use. Still, all Sceptre auto-attacks suck, but at least it has [SHATTERSTONE]!
You do not make 90 gold ‘a day of fun playing’. Not sure why you are saying such an obvious lies…
The problem with Anet right now, is that there are only gemstore updates, and more than one a week now! They need to add things into the actual game as well.
They were not OP a year ago. They are OP now. So you were wrong.
I have not noticed anything changing on leveling other than the crystal throne. The cracks and ruins are still there, the weeds are still there, and the bridges are still busted up.
So there is actually NO way to fix this stuff? Wow…
Another week, another gemstore update with nothing in game. This expansion is seriously disappointing
They do gemstore items roughly every two weeks. They released Halloween items two weeks early as well. None of this is a change.
Every week now. With no corresponding in-game items.
There is A LOT wrong, if they offer very little elsewhere.
So can expect more ‘content’ in the gemstore tomorrow, or will you actually put some into the game?
How do we fix all the broken ruins, take out the weeds, fix the bridges, plant trees, etc? It just looks like we are squatting in ruins
Crafting experience doesn't move the XP bar
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

If crafting xp wasnt capped everyone would just max out cooking over and over again to max masteries…
That would be ridiculously inefficient.
Gilded was always going to win because you COMPLETELY RUINED Lost Precipice by disabling the updrafts.
Love of gliding? How are we supposed to do that when we have to hit these stupid jump pads to activate the updrafts?
Some of these should have been obtainable in HoT. Also there really needs to be more new armour.
Agreed with above. NAY. Viper is for professions who do more than 1 condition.
Could care less means you care.
ANET can you make some mini-game easier????
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Axialbloom.8109
My main issue is gating mastery points behind these stupid PING RELIANT mini-games. Really screws Oceanic players.
Agreed. They especially suck for Oceanic players, because it is all server-based (like gliding…)
If:
- Fire had a large radius and did more burning
- Air hit 5 targets instead of 3
- Earth did more bleeding
- Water left a frost field behind
- Shouts were all instant so could be used while overloading
- Protection and Swiftness actually worked properly while overloading
- Stability trait was not mandatory
Then yeah, I would be satisfied.
Once every 3 months? That is pathetic.
The mat cost is more than just buying it off the TP, for the old ones. For the new ones, it is still far too much about buying it, instead of earning it through gameplay.
Loses.
I quite like it. Even if Anet made gliding and mushrooms server-side, which completely screws over Oceanic players…

I would recommend saving your favour and mats until they fix it.
You have to get tier 4 day and night.
