Is this ever going to be addressed? My Chronomancer can break several bars before my Tempest has broken even one. The more Break Bars are added, the more this imbalance is going to show.
Something everyone is also forgetting:
The auto attacks need to not require a target to use otherwise any form of stealth class will shut it down very easily, especially if they keep the majority of the AoE as it is. Long and visible wind up which you’d have to be blind not to be able to walk out of.
I remember when the forums told eles to equip a staff in their oother weapon slot, and change to it to AoE thieves. Ahh, good times…good times.
I don’t know, but I can hear Gravity Well pounding away in my sleep. Bang, bang, bang… over and over again. Face two mesmers on point and it is: bang, bang, bang… bang, bang, bang… bang, bang, bang… bang bang bang… You’ll be bopping up and down for 30s like a rag doll.
The interlude after the 4 Gravity Wells is a nice Dragon’s Maw sometimes.
Pull, float, pull, float, pullpullpull.
Is this Pinball Wars 2?
Painfully accurate. The CC in GW2 is absolutely bonkers.
What is a looser? Someone who loosens knots?
Sceptre, not fresh air.
The focus on polish and fixing existing content is the perfect opportunity to balance these runes and sigils.
Normalising health (and maybe toughness?) and then nerfing elementalist sustain, etc, would be a good way to fix ele OP survivability.
Why was the food one not put there as well? Using that food for its proper purpose of buffing over the year sounds great.
I really hope Anet actually do a proper balance pass on these, as there is so much vendor trash. Hell, even the ‘special’ ones like Rune of the Sunless, and Rune of the Tempest are complete rubbish.
Sceptre and Warhorn buffs for ele needed.
Arc Lightning is the best skill for being interrupted, though!
Wow, they took it away? How stupid. It was something that actually made sense to work on slowly, as it was actual buff food. Epic fail by Anet.
He DID NOT steal our credit, nor did he do nothing. We stole HIS credit (and a lot of other people’s). He did everything, and we just attacked stuff.
Plz give Maclaine Diemer music for Guild Hall
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

1000 linseed oil and 100000 elder planks per song.
Jokes. Would love the music.

It is like a different game, now. Soooo much better.
Fine. Get rid of the instant-cast stuff first.
Why? That has not been viable in PvP for months.
If the damage is bumped up, it becomes extremely hard to deal with, because it cannot be evaded except by prediction.
Auto-attacks…
Oh. Thread was moved here to die.
That would be the best way to do it (along with adding AoE). Those cast times and after-casts are ridiculous.

Maybe like when you attune to earth or something or every couple of earth attuned spells? I’m not sure I don’t play ele at all so…yeah…
That would make it useless, especially when combined with Overload Earth.
Elementalist Sceptre (and focus) will be receiving quality of life improvements. This is great, but for the sceptre, it lacks DAMAGING AUTOATTACKS. Having mostly single target tickle beams is what kills this weapon.
Changed to remove conditions. Wonder how it will work…

30 deldrimor
30 spirit wood
You can craft the first level of the The Hunter, OR, you can sell the mats and buy the entire precursor, plus have gold leftover. Hmmmn, tough decision…
And the only ‘example’ you gave was things to do with nerfing. Which is not an example at all.
You gave no specific example. Probably because you do not even have one.
And farming the mats themselves does not suddenly mean they cannot sell them for more than the precursor costs…
You gave a rhetorical example.
Also people can sell the mats they farmed…
The precursor for The Predator costs a zillion times more to craft. No idea what Anet were thinking.
That’s because they didn’t based crafting costs on demand for precursors. Since only two classes can equipment it, with it not part of either’s meta builds, the precursor is cheaper than others on the TP. Anet based crafting costs into buckets with the rifle being lumped with other two handed weapons. This results in it being more expensive to craft. If they were to add more elite specializations that used rifle, the cost on the TP would rise and crafting may or may not become a better option.
I can tell you have not even looked at what it costs to craft.
Or more likely you have no idea what I had said. It’s definitely not a “zillion” times more to craft.
It seems hyperbole is beyond you. And you do not have to defend everything Anet does. They DO make mistakes, you know…
No one is going to craft The Hunter.
I’m not defending Anet. I’m simply disagreeing with you.
Have you ever disagreed with Anet? I have seen a lot of your posts, and I have never seen you disagree with them. Not even once.
Maybe because I’m usually not having any conversations with them to disagree (or agree) with? You act as though I’m simply choosing to side with Anet and that I have no mind of my own. I have stances on various things and whether or not it sides with Anet doesn’t matter to me. For example, I typically disagree on 99% of things that involves nerfs in difficulty.
When have you not sided with Anet? You even think a precursor costing a ton more to craft than to buy is fine. Why would someone not just sell the deldrimor and spirit wood, then buy the precursor? This is clearly flawed.
You can burst if you get an ele, etc, stuck in CC.
They need to nerf warriors and thieves in PvP, so that I stop getting them on my team.

I doubt anyone has bothered to craft The Hunter, due to the 30 deldrimor and 30 spirit wood needed for the first stage.
GG Anet.
On topic: banning everyone in a household for one person botting would be bad.
Why? More peer pressure not to bot that way.
Spy on your family?
Ban entire net cafes?
Ban university dorms?
Ban parents for an idiot child? This would be an extremely bad way to go about it.
The reason Anet did it is because people can bot their alt account and send money to their main account.
Weather it is right on wrong, I don’t know. But that’s typically how every mmorpg handle this kind of situation
I do not remember WoW ever doing this, because of the reasons I stated. It would be an incredibly stupid way to go about it, considering they can track the materials mailed, etc.
Lose.
I am about to hit diamond, and it has been very, very painful. I once had the same mace/axe warrior on my team 3 times in a row, who would just suicide and die within a few seconds. AND HE WAS DIAMOND!
It doesnt take much insight to understand that he mostlikely got to diamond with a different class or build as such playstyle wouldnt get u there, unless he played tons of games which is less likely.
We have class achis for the ascension and if u put two n two together hes likely to be testing around, like many do after hitting diamond
Then he must have been intentionally tanking, he was just that bad.

Right… And then people would wait til just before reset to deposit their money into guild banks or mailed to alts, then pick it up after reset. Free labor, didnt pay a dime.
Doing that every day for 1 silver? You have strnage priorities…
Lose.

who knows if owl is really gone?
the ingame owl shrine makes you think that owl is actually alive!
you can check it ingame or look up wiki description:
Quote:
“This shrine is dedicated to Owl, who was devoured by Jormag. Although Spirits have been missing before, Owl has been destroyed forever.”
—>Remember Owl’s sacrifice.
“What comes next is an assault on the senses. A flurry of feathers, a scream into the maw of oblivion, a creeping coldness. But one sensation towers over them all—hope.”sounds like the spirit of the owl is still there just very weakened maybe so it cant show itsself fully?
then again in the sentence directly before that one it says “destroyed forever”….
I believe that is Owl’s final moments. The hope part is letting the Norn escape.
What even ARE map points?
Post to fix forum bug. Gaile please ban the forum bug that make this problem
I got infracted for doing the forum bug fix post…
On topic: banning everyone in a household for one person botting would be bad.
It is OP, but it is also the only thing keeping necros, and to a lesser extent revenants, from ruining the game even more. Any nerf would have to come with a nerf to the condition bomb.
Lose.
And yes, Anet need to fix this and a host of other issues.
Because they are hideous I guess.
Honestly, yes, its hard to get… But no harder than 40-80 fractal dailies… And its so worth it!
…what?
I finished the shoulders tonight and spent maybe 3 gold buying drinks to help top things off.
I spent time with family over the holidays, did things outside of the game and farmed a whole lot of choir bell in between doing other things in game. For a RARE collection, it’s fine. I don’t have all the rare collections done and some are going to be harder than others, but to get them done it’s going to take a concerted effort and that is okay. It’s a goal.
I don’t think rare collections are meant for everyone to be able to get quickly. They require effort and dedication to finish. I don’t think the collection is going to go away, so if you don’t finish this year there’s always next year.
Not sure you realise just how much choir bell you must have done…
