Sounds like maybe you just don’t have the right color dyes to match the npc’s. Sky dye iirc is a pretty close match to the blue they use. So is Robin I think.

Considering guard off hand sheld is complete garbage compared to warrior and engi, main hand would probably be even worse

strength runes arent cheap at all, but perplexity is. However WVW isnt fair, this is not pvp, use whatever you want. You are rarely going to fight a fair one on one anyway; abuse perplexity and maul people in mass amounts. crush those zergs and push helpless old norn off mountains. death to them all, bless you child!

I use my zerker necro in PVE cuz necro does well in every category, just as well as other classes for open world content. Dungeons we just lack the diversity for speed runs but dungeons are so easy once you know them it doesnt matter, save for fractals, you do need a good team for that.

Cheap rune set for zerker, if 3g is a lot per rune, then get rune of the privateer for now

Sylvari, Human, Charr. one of those three. I have 2 norn and I dont play either one I just dont like their animations or stance. I like the voice acting the most but thats it. Asura just dont click with me, I like other peoples asuras but not mine.

I just want sword and shield for ele, hammer/mace/GS for necro. Engi can get any weapon and they can make it work for any build honestly. Warrior pistol offhand for heavy condis, id prefer to do it have bleeding/burning and a knock down. Guardian shortbow, ranger staff. Thief absolutely anything, im so tired of their limited weapon set. Probably the most mobile class in combat with a fluid initiative system but is trapped with such a tiny weapon set its annoying. Mesmer needs a main hand weapon like mace or axe. Everyone keeps asking for a pistol but its stupid Mes already has a power and a hybrid/condi ranged weapon. Needs more melee options desperately

I just changed to knowledge is power, I already had the skin and its cheap anyway and I reallllly like it since its gold. Phoenix focus is nice, I may end up getting that one!

I jus made incinerator for my ele and I’m looking for a good focus. I use bolt and anomaly on my mes, and I was using chaos dagger and focus on ele. Need some ideas

2h swords… they are pretty much the only pve meta for warrior. Yea you can run axe axe but you can also use only virtual keyboard instead of real one on your PC but why would you do that… it gets job done but it is far less efficient :/

What’s this now? Axe+Mace are most certainly part of the warrior PvE meta.

That’s for the vuln stacking/utility. So if your group has say an engi or ele you may not even care about swapping to them and simply stick with the GS.

scepters, they are pretty much the most useless weapon of the game regardless of profession, if it doesn’t lack damage it lacks useful skills.
i would go as far as saying that if one weapon needs a complete overhaul for every profession it’s the scepter.

Ele scepter is really good. Guardian scepter can do tons of damage on large targets. Necro and mesmer scepter ate two of the best pvp weapons

Crafting precursors is such a bad idea. Legendary weaponss are already common. Without prea being craft able there’s nothing to get excited about in drops it will make a boring feature even more boring. Want a pen just buy it. I got sick of trying to get a pretty so I grinded for 4 days and bought spark

I dont really like any of them, but…

Bolt because I love the lightning effect
Incin because the flame looks awesome, but the grip is just so out of place.
Sunrise is beautiful, I never liked it until recently, its still too… fat.. for my taste. I like skinnier more realistic 2h swords not these monster fat things.
Predator is cool but the pre is better.

The legendary shield is amazing too but this game doesnt support shields so it doesnt really matter. the rest are horrid

this game is actually increasing in population believe it or not, its not anywhere near closing

I leveled my 2nd necro using an exp scroll and 40 tomes, so I just had to level 60-80 and it was unreal how weak I felt. I overall dont think the system is as bad as people make it out to be, but again, I started at level 60. Im making a 2nd guardian soon and I plan on using tomes to hit 80 because find and seek traits is ridiculous to me. I honestly like the new leveling system for NEW players, it is a good way for them to not get bored with having all their abilities from start to finish at leveling; its a complaint a lot of people had at launch that didnt stick around I remember. However I feel people with older accounts, 6+ months, year, whatever should not have to go through this system. The event hopping + gold spending and waste of skill points is just ridiculous for traits imo.

The game is better than its ever been. Veterans like me are bitter because of changes to things we preferred, but the game is better, and it is growing. Anyone who has stopped playing would love to return, they are simply waiting for more content, which is completely understandable especially in a game without a sub.

Where are your top farming spots? Ive been a hardcore decicated cursed shore farmer for quite a long time and have recently brought my talents and ocd to SW. I still think H.Mouldy bags are the more valuable than champ bags overall due to more tier 6 mats/ powerful bloods.

Everyone complains this game is too easy, then when we get something with any kind of mechanics that can cause failure or death people require a beer asap.

Necro and meservices both have worse stability. Also engi has blocks and stun breaks. Necro is an easy to hit class with no stability it’s horribad

im getting a bit tired of using staff for everything. Thinknig of maybe going d/g or s/f? what are you guys using in SW, ill be honest ive mostly been using my ranger there lately

I liked Siverwastes, interestingly designed map, was fun for about 3-4 hours and then I left and ever returned, just like that other map.
There’s nothing to do on those maps unless you want to AP farm or zerg.

theres really no zerging or AP farming on SW, dry top as well for that matter. Its actually the complete opposite. The maps force you to seperate and take care of events all over the map as often as possible in order for you to get the proper reward. I hope more of the maps in the future are like this, SW is extremely rewarding it feels like a giant dungeon and I love it. The mobs are actually difficult to the point that I barely melee anything there. Sad you spent such a short amount of time in the best part of the game

I think season one was way better than season 2. I feel like nothing has happened in season 2 at all. I love silverwaste though
