Strange. 90% of the skins I loot from chests are run on my Ranger. I thought there was favoritism towards Rangers.

If you bought it from the vendor. It is already stuck with you. They are masterwork quality (green).

Only the skins looted from the chests inside the Super Adventure Box are transferable to another player. They are rare quality (yellow).

I’m at about chest 250.

I looted a scepter 8 hours before reset. Then after reset, I looted a sword on my first run. On my third run, I looted a sword and a greatsword. I am now rich. Thank you SAB.

On that note. I’ve never looted any skin from the chest in the 3rd zone. Never. Has any one else?

When they make a legendary short bow that shoots lightning bolts instead of rainbow ponies. That’ll be the day legendaries perk my interest.

A while back we had an unofficial dueling of all three servers at the top of the EB jumping puzzle. It was very weird where no one was attacking except for a few who were taken down quickly to keep the peace.

Every one was basically dueling to down state. No kill trading involved.

I switched to Pistol+Shield on my Engineer, just to run with it. The shield looks simply awesome. I prefer rifle, but running mostly with kits in wvw, its not so much difference. Love the blue trail the shield leaves when you run.

If you’re running with kits. Pistol and shield is better than just rifle as you get 2 sigils and not just 1.

I hope they never expect any one to dodge jump in jumping puzzles. If you have latency by not living close to the servers. It’s near impossible to replicate.

Yeah, keep in mind world 1 is easy. The difficulty will be rising as more worlds come in, as well as hard mode. I’m sure you’ll eat a LOT of CCs if you want to take that challenge on.

How ever there are 3 barriers preventing you from making use of the Continue Coin. Making them just paper weights.

1) Not dying (obviously).

2) Even if you do die. There is a mechanic that gives you 5 free lives if you just leave the instance and come back in with a group. Probably not intended. But it is there.

3) Lives and Potions purchased from the shops also prevent you from having to use a Continue Coin.

If you don’t want to PVP (or in some cases PVDoor) to get your map completion. You do not deserve it.

It is map completion. Every one has to do PVE and a little bit of PVP to get it. It’s not some’ PVE achievement and I should deserve special treatment because I don’t like PVP.’ It is the complete package.

So here’s the thing. I keep getting these. But I never use them. Like… ever.

Having yet to use a single continue coin. Is there going to be use for them for those who don’t die or will there be another use for them other than bank space paper weight?

On my speed runs. I bought a shovel on my alts. Dug up over 250 baubles on the way. Got the wallet. It basically pays for itself since I get over 360 baubles per speed run collecting all three chests.

There’s really no reason not to have a wallet. Unless you’re delete character farming. Then that’s your problem.

The next thing on the list is to wait until the next installment of SAB comes along.

I’ve opened 200+ chests now with only one skin to show for it. This is not delete character farming either. Just farming with my 7 80s.

Well, you can sell the skin for more than one gold if you wish, so probably to lessen gold farming.

Skins bought from the vendor are account bound.

I want to save you all some time from watching his video as the title and the posts in the thread are very misleading.

He counts each bauble bubble as 250 baubles. This method was probably obvious to a lot of people since the max baubles you can carry is 500. He only collects 361 baubles. His speed run is closer to 15 min than 10 min unlike the title of the thread suggests.

To the OP:

I’m not criticizing your method of running SAB. I just find the way you’re showing everyone to be very misleading.

Not really misleading. Rather. ‘360 baubles and 6 bauble baubles in 10 minutes’ in the title simply does not fit. Blame Anet for that one. Though it is pretty obvious the number includes bauble baubles (what else are you going to turn 250 baubles into?).

I think what is going to happen for hard mode is. Since happy clouds help you out with rainbows. Grumpy clouds are going to make it a living nightmare for you.

Perhaps instead of rainbows. Bridges/barriers of lightning that hurt you? They’ll probably also go off in intervals to add a timing element to the jumping puzzles.

I’ve heard this from several different people. Needless to say, I never wanted my work to make people sick! I honestly don’t know why this is happening specifically in SAB. But I have to assume it has something to do with the angular geometrical environment and bright colors. I wonder if someone who gets sick tries it in black and white if that would help them.

I’ve been farming SAB for hours for baubles/skins and have no problems.

Go farm mobs out in the open world and I get motion sick after a while.

A speed run of Zones 1-3 of World 1 plus optional extra baubles at the end. Taking the most optimal routes whilst maximizing your bauble collection. Great for farming baubles and rare skins!

Having 7 characters to farm with. I get about 13 thousand baubles a day.

Skins how ever… Opened over 100 chests and only received one skin so far.

It happens when the person’s location is out of sync with the server. The server is saying they’re in one spot while on their client it says they’re at another.

But I can say it again, as someone who attends the Dragonbrand Command meetings, and talks to many of our commanders at various times, there is no truce and no alliance of any sort with YB.

But as an aside, if we wanted to form an alliance with another server that would be perfectly legal and fair. ANet has designed WvW with inter-server cooperation in-mind. That is why we have a three server paradigm.

If Dragonbrand ever does do an alliance with another server we will announce it. We would have no reason to hide it. It would be to our advantage to announce it to demoralize the enemy.

So the entirety of SoS is one person’s opinion? Glad we got the generalization ball rolling.

In zone 2. I can get over 200 baubles doing a speed run and digging on spots on the way. I’m just wondering if there is a need to make such a video.

Best Dyes I’ve had randomly drop were 2 celestial dyes around the first week of head start. Then nothing until a single white dye from mystic forging random dyes recently.

Another thing that frustrates the living kittening kitten out of me is how bad targeting is on the frog, it continuously drops target and wont select ruby many of the times. The toads at back dont help but i think thats done on purpose.

You can dodge the tongue and don’t have to target the ruby. Just whack away.

Also I agree. I dislike the maximum length jumps. I enjoyed jumping in the clock tower and the winter’s day one because they gave you a bit of leeway.

Not that I’m saying there should be no maximum length jumps. Just not as frequently as they are now. Limit it to perhaps one per level.

I’ll be joining some of you in the 30 club in a few days and the SAB had me sitting at my PC with a stupid grin on my face. It’s FUN! That’s why I play games… for fun. I’m weird like that!
