I’m a shortbow primary and dagger/pistol off set thief.

I had no issues. Shortbow made quick work of the groups and the dagger/pistol was great for exploding the lone targets and vets.

Though I was almost stressing at one point when they swarmed as I thought I may have actually had to use my heal.

Any other MMO would charge you that price per character.

But then again this is from some one that never uses server transfers. Let alone pay for it.

I find the issue being that achievements that deserve titles do not get rewarded and achievements that require little work to obtain hand them out like candy.

There will always be rebels who want to ‘go against the flow’ and do what they please unless they are forced to.

But with our new super weapon fully operational. Blue and red will be fighting each other for some time whilst we take what we want.

Here’s a revolutionary idea. Why not reward both equally dependent on time spent and difficulty to please every one?

I am a SOS mesmer and I will continue to gank other servers in the JP. Why you ask? Because its WVW, PVP, Server vs Server. I love how all of you are complaining about us mesmers in the JP ganking yet thiefs roam the map freely ganking innocent players with almost infinite stealth. Get over it. If you want an easy map go to PVE. WVW is mean’t to be tough.

Also +1 for invulnerability at the -> EB jumping puzzle spawn points. The PVP should be in the puzzle, not at camping the spawn. Even though I have no issues with it personally. I do see the problem for others.

Seems like everytime I log into these forums for a quick read I see this Vayne character defending Anet from complaints and grievances that their users have. You sure your not employed by Anet Vayne? Seems like you have a full time job for yourself here.

How ever. The more one posts on the forums. The less they are playing the game. Meaning they’re not enjoying the game as much as they say they do or else they would be playing it instead of posting here for lengthy periods of time.

Which leads to one thing. Boredom.

People don’t want to do long grindy tasks multiple times for multiple characters. It is boring. Especially the second time around.

Why isn’t there any RNG involved with “dynamic” events?

For example. Why does [insert dragon name here] come at every meta boss event? Why not once every 10-20 to make it memorable? Give people a meta event with same rewards, but have the dragon only appear randomly to make it special.

There’s no longer siege in the puzzle. Problem solved. Any thing else is solely the fault of the player. Why the need to necro it?

Indeed. I’ve been in this industry for 16 years and worked with a several publishers including Interplay, Sierra, THQ and now NCSoft. And for what it’s worth, the amount of creative freedom that NCSoft gives ArenaNet is MASSIVE compared to the others. NCSoft is crazy successful for a reason. They recognize the talent here and support us with a very hands-off policy in general. They give us a LOT of feedback and data to work with, but I’ve never got the impression that they are overlords like I have with the other publishers I’ve worked under.

A little off topic. But I just realized you worked on Descent 3. <3
