If we hit rank 12.. Oh god. 7 weeks of getting stomped. Im first to admit our NA and Oceanic coverage has been getting good, and is continually growing more and more, but servers above organization and numbers are still crazy compared to what we see.

[KoR] might be the worst guild on IoJ.

They seem to just call in numbers when they’re getting stomped an under level guardian. I didn’t think I could do that much damage to a level 80 on a level50. The guy had to call his friend in to help kill me.

KoR is largely a PvE guild. Many dont WvW but they are of the larger guilds on IoJ so their help is always appreciated. No need to dis a group of ppl that may be learning WvW.

usually I go with this simple rule of thumb: if the absolute worst player on the game, given enough time, can achieve it…it means its nothing worth talking about to start with.

as I said, its purely a time based achievement

anyone can hop on a level 1 char, go to WvW, and if they dont avoid fights, have within 5 minutes their “kill 50 players in WvW” monthly done.
250k kills is simply throwing more minutes at it.

Meh it may only take 5 min for you upper tiers, But 50 kills in the lower tiers takes a bit longer then 5 min. Especially when servers run away so much.

IoJ Hoping to roll you soon DH time to test our selves against some bigger servers.

It’s nice too see new faces in HoD a few IoJ has just transferred here I have no idea what sort of drama is going on there but apparently some of ur xfers from GoM raged them off ur server u guys need to sort it out over there id hate to see another Anvil Rock take place : ( other than that this week has been a nice vacation for HoD a lot of our weekly and weekend warriors r busy making moneys with new content and farming with the double teaming from SF and IOJ I’m really surprised we r still doing pretty well for ourselves keep fighting HoD I’ll try to be more active next matchup but at least I will have moneys ^^

I think IoJ sounds like a good bunch of wvw Lifetakers and heartbreakers and everything if heard from our scouts there is good imo, i really liked the part about Commanders not being heckled after they spend there time and hard earned money on siege and what not to make points for there server.

We have our occasional trolls what server doesn’t but the community always has and always will step up to defend the commander tagged up. Whether his decision was bad or not he/she will learn there’s no need to heckle them about it. :p

Yeah we tend to Queue EB from NA Prime-just after late night PST time zone (I.e. 12-1am PST is when our queue will drop) We dont queue things on the oceanic side much though. Our EB queue has recently hit like 30 min, I remember the days when if I hit a queue i’d be like wtf is this O.o then get in like 30 seconds later lol

Hmm, first challenge would be Darkhaven, but it looks like that is definitely doable. I don’t think you’re quite up to SBI, but Kaineng should be a great matchup for you guys, for sure. SBI got a lot of DR’s guilds recently so I see them going up a bit.

If we get 2/3 guilds looking for us I think we could contend with SBI, Both are 75-100 WvWers, 20-30 on at any given time, We didnt do horribly against SBI back when we last faced them, but yes they got a lot of xfers as well recently, So that’d be an interesting match up. Especially since our rivalry against DR was do to many of those guilds that xferred to SBI lmao.

Correct and we have 3 Medium sized guilds currently scouting us out and considering us. Out biggest challenges in the near future will be BP, Kain and SBI. BP cause of the NA, SBI and Kain cause of their night crews. I feel where we are right now we could beat DH.

Personally I like the change, But If I was in any of those servers that are consantly changing ranking cause of the close matches I would feel screwed over too :l You have 1 month to get rating up to play with your friends and foes though. However that’ll also put you against BG, JQ, SoR at least once. I think they should have just stuck with the 4/6 plan they had told Joystique.

Drips of Liquid Karma from champion loot bags have been replaced with Piles of Bloodstone Dust.
Open world bosses, temple bosses, WvW keeps, and castles now drop Dragonite Ore in addition to their regular loot, which can only be earned once per day per location.
Dungeons, minidungeons, jumping puzzles, WvW camps, and towers now drop Empyreal Fragments in addition to their regular loot, which can only be earned once per day per location.
Daily and monthly achievement rewards now include Essence of Luck. To offset this, the amount of karma earned from daily and monthly achievements has been reduced.

This is from the update notes, Thank you anet for finally including WvW into the drops and making it possible for us to get ascended through WvW and not just Pve, also the essence of luck from dailies is nice :P

The troll on BG is spending 8 plus hours a day doing this. It really impacts our ability to play especially at reset. I am really kitten ed off that this has been going on for at least 3 weeks. ANet if it is going to take awhile to engineer a solution, then you have an obligation to investigate the hundreds of reports you are getting about one individual who is ruining the playing experience for many others.

I hope hes being paid as much as a paying job would give him for doing this at least. Cause 8+ hours a day, that kid really needs a social life and job.

You guys wiped quite a few times at these stairs, though you had at least 2 times the numbers… But your efforts to recap Briar were honorable. (Nice cata distraction as your golem hit the gate!) Sorry [PHZE] couldn’t cuddle with SF some more, we had to go to guild missions

Just saying, your reaction time was actually horrible. We had inner gate 95% down before even spotted and then we were in centre before your zerg came. Good times though, it was fun.

For the wp being contested and someone having to run all the way to check it out from citadel you could have easily been spotted after you got outter down. Now I was on eb during this so idk if you ever drew orange swords all I can tell you is we werent even told til inner was at 80% on teamspeak. So I feel for the time given to use it was splendid reaction time but agreed, It was fun xD

I have a question about the loot drop at the end of the event. Getting the chest reward in any encounter like this require taging the boss i.e doing enough damage to him, who will players that man the turrent or those who protect them will get their reward?

If you need to be in a role and defend you wont be able to tag who are you going to make it worth the efford, to the replay i also ask this if it based on who is in the area for for some time and help the event – will it mean players who come at the last 30 seconds will get the reward also?

This is an improtant aspect if you want it the new challanging event to work

They could have changed it to simply completing the event to qualify the reward. And defending would qualify you for that.

I want to thank the couple of SF thieves that have been providing us with laughter and bags. It is so funny when they get turned into a Moa, seems their stealth no longer works. Oh my aching laughing muscles!

This also works particularly well on the rapid inflow of meta builds that I’ve been seeing, including, but not limited to:

- Fear-mancers;
- Stun-lock warriors that love to run away at any sign of trouble (only to realise that the spam-laugh in moa form isn’t very fun);
- Spirit rangers (although not as effective in this case); and,
- Condition thieves

If only Moa weren’t on such a long cooldown – I would totally use it more often.

Over on the WvW front it’s much more exciting. The goosebump-raising news of the day is that the first season of WvW is to come, and as such, the team will be dividing up servers into leagues that will compete for huge rewards over a span of seven weeks. Europe will feature three leagues and North America will have four leagues, each league containing several worlds. The idea here is to look at recent WvW ratings and match up worlds in similar levels, with a gold league, a silver league, and so on.

As the first season progresses, each world will have a shot to earn points every week based on its standing. First place awards the most points, but your side will still get some points for lower rankings too. At the end of the season, the points will be added up and the world with the most points will get a cool trophy and a unique custom finisher. However, there will be smaller rewards doled out along the way, and even if you don’t participate in WvW, you could be on the receiving end of some goodies if your server does well.

So int he live stream they Have previewed the new teq 2 times already, going on a third.

Ill list the new things they announced for him here, If I missed any please post and ill update the top post.

~Damage, HP, Defense on him has been Buffed.

~Now spawns a Bone Wall in front if you do not keep the New “Hardened Scales” Stacks off him from the Turrets when they hit 20.

~ He now creates a Small and Large Shockwave. The small can be jumped over, The large cannot, However you can use the new Jump Pads to jump over the large one.

~He will Drop new Ascended Weapons Exclusively for now.

~He will Drop Exclusive Skins.

~He will Drop an Exclusive Mini Pet

~New AP for Teq.

~ Its now a Rolling Event, Stages, At 75%, 50%, 25%. These stages are when you defend batteries that charge the megalaser , When you charge it successfully it will down teq and put him in a weakened state to allow players to deal more damage.

Come on now HoD :l I was hoping for better. I was all hyped up last night after seeing what you could field on reset.

Had some fun fights tonight on HoD BL against [Core] and [PPK]. We had 12-15 earlier in the night, but dropped down to 8-9 when you guys took Briar back with the break-out. (Siegerazor is OP) Unfortunately the BL flooded with more of your guys and then more of our guys. Hopefully we’ll get to fight some more against each other this week.

I state New HoD because you were able to compete with DH, Last time we played you, you were on par with us. So either you’ve gotten xfers, or have done major recruiting for your WvW on your server to field more numbers. Hence why you are New compared to last time :P

This is probably the poor attitude he was talking about, Regardless of if he angered or annoyed you he and his guild were apart of your community and tried to fit in and it seems you guys weren’t anything but rude, Judging by these posts at least.

If IoJ and SoS got paired on a regular basis, your oceanics might have more to do than pvdoor! I’m not trying to be insulting. It’s probably what happens when you get matched up with servers that don’t have any oceanic coverage.

Sad thing is, Most servers do have at least 5 ppl that play at night. Generally around 10. They are just idiots though and never use cannons or oil. If you ahve 5-10 smart people at night you can hold things for a long time. Even on a golem rush, 5 sup. ACs will knock those golems right out. I solo held Langor Against 30 HoD for 20 minutes before someone finally came to help during a PvE patch day. So its possible for ppl to hold other things just as well lolol

I was in IoJ a very long time ago. I have many memories of the server being a decent home for a long time. The server had a lot of oceanic guilds and was struggling in NA time slot but even so the guilds became tightly close and familiar with one another.

Eventually IoJ became a server with a tier 3 population which made it into tier one. I was one of the players who went to IoJ when they needed more NA guild and eventually started Twilight Daze there as a small guild running five man parties.

I enjoyed the server and when we finally got to tier 1 so many players left WvW and entered the Halloween event, forgetting that we earned our tier 1 spot. We held our own for three to four days in tier 1. Once guilds saw we were not serious as a WvW server, they left to other servers. This started a downward spiral.

Towards the very end, paid server transfers were coming and before falling into tier four, around 12 WvW guilds transferred to FA including my own. However, it wasn’t what it was meant to be..

…while I felt happy for a while, I saw the IoJ spirit fall apart. There were different mentalities and attitudes to deal with on FA and the IoJ guilds offered a lot of help to the FA guilds but I saw the FA top guilds and opinions dominate a lot of attempts to move forward. While FA grew stronger, the combination of FA and IoJ guilds and their gameplay never allowed them to legitimately achieve what IoJ managed to achieve alone, to enter into tier 1 and fight a match at that level legitimately and not by random deviation matching at WvW is.

IoJ earned its tier 1 match and I enjoyed every second of it, along with the long nights and months of WvWing and getting to know many there. However it was due to the FA attitude that some former IoJ guilds left FA and went to other servers.

I still feel today that I am one of the few who even as TC player still retained the early, friendly IoJ spirit that I learned in that server. I feel a lot who exist on FA from that server lost their spirit that today its like if those players have become different people.

I would give a lot to see IoJ recover itself, get a handful of new guilds, recover their old guilds as well in an “Enough is Enough” message and knock FA out of the water. I found my home in Tarnished Coast but I would start a second account and pitch in my own way if anyone spearheaded (myself included) a recovery of that server.

It was great while it was good before its full decline into the ground. Next to Tarnished Coast, it was my favorite server, while I can say that out of eight servers I’ve spent time in, FA was by far the worse server experience of my life….both times I was there.

Our NA presence has been complimenting our Oceanics presence quite well recently. Feel free to come back, community is still around
