I think you’ll love the Living Story, if you don’t have it try to buy, you won’t regret.

Coming from FFXIV I do note that added extra instances can put strange pressures on a gaming company. Added lag. Sometimes to the point where the game will not run. Something about it costing more for the gaming company to have extra instances. The mechanics of an mmo aren’t run on magic like most gamers seem to think.

Instances is a way to alleviate workload in the server, that is a good reason why GW1 is fully instanced besides the outposts.

Support won’t help because you gave the gold of your own free will, Anet can’t and won’t enforce a deal made by 2 players at their own risk.
It is just like when a guild member clean the vault and leave the guild, it is the guild leader fault to give him access and not ANet’s fault.

Good question. They may add a cap on how many stacks epidemic will spread or they won’t change at all and the necro can take advantage of a target with tons of cond stacks.

You all dont know that. Staff could be made more bursty by Shiro legend traits and skills.

That is not how GW2 works.
Take guardian for example, no matter the set and traits you pick, mace won’t be a damage weapon compared to other guardian weapons, you can rise its damage but will always be a support weapon.
Shiro legend can probably make staff more bursty, but I’m pretty sure that almost any other rev weapon would be stronger (damage wise).

In a mobile game like this, stationary spirits that are atackable wil be a huge nerf. They not Engi turret. We can’t just destroy them like toolbelt can. We have only 1 activation skill. Replace that with a destroy skill would also be a huge nerf. They need spirits like Ritualist with large range and powerful effects to be slightly useful in a game like this.

Ritualist spirits were also static, you had to use another skill to teleport spirits to your location.
We really don’t know what devs can do, the area of effect of spirits can be increased to a huge area like ranger spirits in GW1, the HP can be vastly increased, the summon can be ground targeted, there are many possibilities that can make it useful even being static.
BTW, in WvW spirits are used only in roaming and even there it is a sub par build, in zerg the last thing you want is the spirits following you.

I won’t be able to link the facebook post now, but ANet post a lore text about the Daydream set that heavily implies that it is related to Melandru, not a direct set though.

Devs said that spirits will be stationary, yes, but they also said that they would change them to compensate it, and we don’t know what it will be, so try to complain after we find out what that change will be.

I made 4 characters in the 1st day of the game.
I played my main till I got to 80 and did a few things, then I started to play with my 2nd toon on weekends (leveling and map exploration) and with my main on weekdays (dailies, dungeon runs, map completion) until I got lvl 80 with my 2nd toon and pretty much repeated that until I got all classes to level 80.

Oh yes, the “meta” changes a lot depending on the game type.
The “all mighty zerk” meta is a PvE dungeon thing only, open world it is really good but not the most efficient in every aspect.

In PvP conditions not only is viable but it is meta for some classes and ranger has really good cond builds.

In WvW rangers are good roamers and cond / regen are good options, a time ago apothecary was a quite popular gear for ranger roamer.

The problem is that the annoying few that gets “offended” by script play is louder than the people that appreciate it.
Keep doing the good work, I have a new friends that are musicians and I know that compose a music is way harder and technical than just playing an instrument.

It is coming next update, but we can’t say for sure when the next update will be.

Clever, but most organisations with a decent web dev team will enforce form validation and include a web app firewall to prevent SQL commands in submit forms :p

Yeah, prevent SQL injection is one of the 1st things they teach when you are learning DB programming, only really bad site/system would be affected by such a thing.

Engineer (medium armor) and Elementalist (light armor) also don’t have weapon swap but have many 1~5 skill options due their class mechanic.
Revenant (heavy armor) also won’t have weapon swap but in compensation they will have access to 10 utilities (6~0 skills), also many skills doesn’t have cooldown, they consume energy instead.

I can guarantee that Revs won’t get weapon swap.

Well, I guess we’ll have lore or minuscule information about something know, like how the design team got idea for guild halls, but no mechanic info will be given.

You can equip any weapon available for the rev, no matter your legends, you can go staff + Jalis/Mallyx or mace/axe + Ventari/Jalis or hammer Mallyx/Ventari and so on.

The 1-5 skills are tied only to the weapon, so hammer skills with Jalis will be the same with Ventari, staff skills with Ventari will be the same with Mallyx, only the utilities (6~0 skills) changes depending on legend.

All class reveals had a teaser, and the Ventari legend was the only one in a Monday.

Every city have a portal to Lion’s Arch, once there you’ll see 4 other portals in front of you, 1 for every other main city, including Rata Sum.

BTW, nearly all the times a hacker gets a password, it isn’t by brute force methods, it is the user that typed in computer with a keylogger, or in a Phishing site, and in those cases strong passwords won’t help at all.
And for brute force attempts, a password like this: “ThisIsAnIncredibleLongPasswordOMG1” is much harder to break than “P4$$w0rd” for example.

A few things I want to point.
1 – Healing Spring and SoR also can from the party and drakes can tank with much better damage.
2 – If you are using LB + bear and have “Search and Rescue” in the skill bar … you need to rethink all your concepts about playing a ranger.
3 – Have a downed player usually mean that something bad happened, and the lack of utility you provided may be the reason.
4 – That is a point against you, Healing Spring is better if you are in melee with the other players, who cares about AoE heal if you are in ranged distance alone?
5 – You should list a few of the “much more” because the previous ones were not convincing at all.

I used a mix of Apothecary/Settler trapper ranger for WvW, it performed really well.

You can get the skin for another weapon and sell it for a gold, it isn’t as bad as you think.

I have an unique password for GW2 and other for my e-mail, for the rest I have 2 standard passwords, and all of them exists only in my memory.

Also, if you forget your password you can retrieve it, so no need to have it written anywhere, so yeah, the password restriction is good enough, here where I work our password policy is way worse, we set it to have at least 12 characters, upcase and lowercase are mandatory, numbers are also mandatory, expire every 45 days, can’t contain any part of the user name (if you take my display name here my password couldn’t have ‘be’ or ‘lz’ for example) and different from the last 30 passwords.

Ascended armor/weapon also requires laurels, so yeah … all directions points towards laurels

Yes, bags count as chests.
Yes, as I mentioned it is technically bannable, just don’t make a macro that open stuff while you are doing something else. Do something like bound mouse scroll as a click and open all your bags.
ANet makes it unclear because they know that they need to implement an “open all” or “consume all” option, some things requires unbelievable amount of clicking, like buying beads for the Hylek weapons collection (2850 clicks to be exactly), just don’t over do it by automating to open all bags while you farm it.

The limit of those floating boxes is WAY higher than you imagine.
After a WvW update almost 2 years ago (I think it was when WvW rank was created) I ended getting like 15 bonus chests (maybe more) unopened and I got them all correctly.
As RoseofGilead quoted, above 3 bonus chests unopened the rest of the chests just stay “hidden” in the UI and it will appear after you start to collect them.

I would go for laurels for sure, it is a time gated item that you can’t get anywhere else.
The mystic clovers can be acquired in some PvP reward tracks, and crafting it rewards T6 materials if you fail and those are also used in the legendary crafting, so it is a win-win situation to craft it.

No problem, I can’t support my statement with a link, because technically you could be banned be using autoclick no matter or what, just like instrument auto player could a time ago, but devs just ignore it and don’t actively search for autoclickers that open/but “too many” things.

Try just to use the auto clicker to open/buy things and do nothing else while you use it.

Depends a lot on how you use it.
If you end using just to open tons of boxes or buying tons of items then it is ok, but if you use to afk events or something similar, then you’ll end getting banned.

Most world bosses can’t be crit, so the precision and ferocity isn’t used, but still have the highest DPS possible.

This is blatantly untrue. Soldier’s gear always offers better DPS no matter what build you play against crit-immune targets, especially if food is considered, so much so to the point where the soldier’s gear can garner an upwards of 20% more damage.

Berserker-stat gear is not the be-all-end-all DPS set. With the condition cap changes, I would largely expect sinister gear to replace it in dungeon runs because it will strictly offer better DPS values from some classes if the stacks are not competed for by players.

Again kinda, in that scenario zerk and soldier have the same damage since both gives the same power (tied 1st in damage with Valk set). Soldier would have more damage only if food is considered.

BTW, currently besides world bosses (and who cares about efficiency against it anyway?) zerker IS the be-all-end-all DPS set, I hope that HoT changes it a bit and condition become more desirable.

That was a terrible daily. The combo had to deal damage in order to count which means there were many combos that didn’t count.

I finished that daily, it was a pain, I had to get help from a guild mate so each one could do it.
The thing is, it didn’t required to “just” cause damage, you had to KILL a mob with a combo, so time a killing blow with a combo was really hard.
