With this current state of balance (3 unplayable classes+some op classes ) it better doesn´t start
The strongest elite in the game, utterly broken , on a 50second cd with f5 and alacrity.
It was already broken with the regular cooldown. Just arguing its hard to land when you can just lock people into a cc with sword/shield doesn´t justify a skill that freekills someone even in a 1v1 withing 5 seconds , on a stupidly short cooldown.
No counter, no fun, completely broken.
No response, feedback , anything?
How do i know this is noticed/being worked on ?

the trait clearly says:
“When you apply an aura to yourself, grant that aura to nearby allies aswell. "
So I get an aura from my shout, why won´t it share? They are intentionally adding bugs to the game?
“Outgoing healing effectiveness is increased by 10%”
In it´s current state it only increases the healing effectiveness to allies, but not to yourself.
Also it is not listed in any sigil category in PvP.

Since you cant stack classes in the new tournament format to prevent having 4 revenants on each game like in the upcoming finals the ideal setup is:
Revenant
Reaper
Druid
Scrapper
X (Dragonhunter/daredevil/Ele)
didnt try warrior and mesmer yet, but they only have to compete with the low tier classes so there is always hope with this new rule set now.
Powerful Aura is supposed to share auras I apply to myself to teammates. Auras I apply to myself from shouts are not shared. Teammates only receive the aura from the shout, but not from Powerful Aura. This bug causes a huge lack in healing and boons.
When I use a shout that applies an aura like Feel the Burn!, my teammates are only affected once by the aura as if I didn´t have Powerful Aura. The shout is supposed to apply the aura to them regulary + I get an aura from the shout too, which is not shared because its bugged. It wouldnt be a big deal cause auras dont stack in duration, but I miss 1500 aoe heal and protection regen and vigor with each shout.
Every time i get taunted by a druid pet in diamondskin I am unable to move after the taunt, this is gamebreaking in pvp.
It works with other taunts aswell if they dont move you during the taunt, but players usually move, once you started to follow in taunt the bug doesnt occure.
I am more conerned about beating revenants than reapers on my ele
Next game and another 3 stuckbugs, this is so common that you have to be afraid of playing this in a competitive environment.
i only experience this on my ele, but i have to type in /dance 2-3 times per game because i am completely stuck and unable to move. Usually happens against druids after interrupts.
So 2 days have passed since the patch and already everyone knows that warrior mesmer and ele cant keep up with the other classes. With the restriction of class stacking every team will be druid scrapper rev necro X . Thats not more diversity then before because 4 of 5 classes are already determined by poor balancing.
Why don´t the developers put these 2 days in to figure that out before releasing the patch?
This might sound rude, but as a disappointed customer i got the right to ask for the reason of this failure.
9. thieves get verbally abused 99% of the matches and customer support doesn’t even move a finger to punish such wide spreaded player griefing (best joke, someone from anet said on reddit they get like 10 reports per day……… OK…..)
Yes i always report warriors and thieves in ranked as it is a competitive game mode and when you dont want to win then play unranked, lfg system abuse.
All meta builds you will ever find in tournament strictly require the expansion.
Can´t enter a game, not even at prime time. What am I supposed to do?
Once more people don´t give a kitten about winning. I get matched with other well known players and many of them just play alt classes and throw games because of the bad reward/punishment structure.
As a competitive player I want good and serious match ups, which I can not have since 3 years outside of organized 3rd party tournaments .
Also I am currently in queue for 25 minutes during prime time.
Why don´t you let me play the game?
The worst stomp bug is dislocated corpses, just lost 2 teamfights cause i couldnt stomp, enemy rallied 10 meter away from its downed location, gg.
you dont enjoy 2 condis revs on every team ?
It is kinda unplayable for me aswell. When my team is not online i cant really play because of too high mmr. Guess i have to throw 30 games on purpose or something so i can q solo maybe.
When i play with my mates many times we face solo groups that forfeit right from the start, so it goes both ways, but it´s not fun for anyone.
Hello, after the removal of svanir and vampirism rune I just died 5x as Moa in game because mesmers can just reset this cooldown.
Ele lacks the 25% crystal hibernation, endure pain, elixier s kind of thing to survive Moas and active counterplay is not possible as I don´t have access to my abilities.
Do you think a 25% mistform would be a good thing? Or a change to moa so it breaks once you take more than 10% dmg like transformations in other games?
Feel free to leave any suggestions that helps to counterplay this ability.
Ele doesn´t provide enough damage anymore. It can´t even pressure marauder classes off node like scrapper dragonhunter etc.
Other classes have the same sustain but more dmg, no reason to play ele currently.
Autoattack Greatsword weapon stow is still exploitable to reduce the casttime. Was fixed long time ago for ele air dagger and necro axe. It is strange that this change has not been made for mesmers. Nobody wants to constantly stow his autoattack just to get the maximum out of his character, it´s just super clunky and not fun to do.
If you feel like it´s a nerf to mesmer to fix their autoattack then just give the reduced casttime out be default.
Waiting in one attunement to unlock the overcharge ability to then channel 4 seconds which is impossible under pressure just to get locked out of your attunement is a clunky triple punishment mechanic. Oh i forgot you have to spend traitpoints on that aswell, totally worth it…. None of the given effects justify the quadro punishment for using tempest.

You mean another year, the last time we saw effective changes was april 15 2014 , since then ranger and necro have been underperforming and air/fire sigils proc people to death. You can aswell just quit if your class is not viable or hope for the addon where you get access to the elite spec traitline.
Proc damage has to be lowered until sigil of force is more rewarding for good players who land their abilities than proc sigils. Landing your skills always has to be more rewarding than passive play.
Thats just the sigil part. Trait procs that mitigates hard ccs like fear in form of transmutation , applying stupid amounts of passive burn damage or randomly blinding big cooldowns also have to be adressed in order to make the game enjoyable. Nobody wants to play actively around passives.

You were obviously just bitter because nobody wanted to play with you and wanted to ruin for some other team.
I´m sorry you are offended by our mistake. We can´t do more than apologizing for now. I tried to explain our motivation, but false accusations are not gonna help here.
You aren´t an angel either, but I dont think it is constructive to go into this again.

If you ever want pvp to be skillful then reward people for landing their abilities and not this nonsense which the community is complaining about for over a year and you manage to ignore successfully:
not agree on warrior being gods.
still depend on actual player skill.just because a very small handful of players play warrior good, does not mean warrior needs to be nerfed, again.
warrior doesnt need to be nerfed when it removes 100% of all condition builds from the meta?
I already explained why sigils should be weaker (not defining builds). Doesnt matter if you tweak the damage or the internal cooldown.
The issue doesnt exsist all of a sudden, it has been there for 1 year. And you are incorrect, sigils and runes do carry builds.
summary of all nerfs:
10% celestial nerf, free to spend stat points = ele is forced into vitality while other classes max out important stats, arcane traitline nerf while other classes get core mechanics baseline instead of taking them away. Burn change (eles biggest dmg source) potential nerf or buff. Current state: dropping out of meta due to lack of impact / i win elite / too small support range and cloth armor in zerker meta.
Would be nice if you finally started to balance classes around their own abilities. If your spec is viable right now depends on your sigil and rune synergie. Warrior gets 2 weapon swap sigil every 5 secs, good synergie. Zerkers get air/fire proc every few seconds. I´m just tired of dealing with pasive procs, like you run up to an engi with 3 stacks intelligence, doom, leeching and his first hit passively deals 6sec burn, 6 sec poison, crits you 100% and leeches 1k hp.
I really hope that sigils in the future become more of a tweak towards what you face instead of defining builds. Good example here is nullification sigil. Obviously same goes for runes. Having a viable short cd heal is a huge advantage in terms if sigil synergie. The active effect of some sigils like vampirism are just broken.
If mesmers autoattack wouldnt hit 3 times, this broken synergie you can see in this picture would never occure

thief is still required for any team and overpowered , same as warrior and engi , but ele is already dropping out of the meta
I highly support Eternyas ideas. Currently ele has not a safe spot in the meta because warrior brings so much more support to the teamfight and engi is so much stronger at dueling. Ele still works vs some teams who have easy targets like power nec/dps guard where the ele can support in his melee range, but as soon as you have to deal with sneaky zerkers like mes/thief you cannot catch, warriors you cannot pressure and engis you cannot kill and obliterate you in duels and 2v2s you become useless. Increasing the support range of ele would definitely help its teamfight presence, currently we have to reposition even for a single target support.
Also we are lacking a high impact I win button like crate/moa/banner aswell as the damage to make a difference, nor do we have the cc to decap reliably.
Instead of changing elemental attunement to grandmaster it rather deserves to be baseline 600 radius. The only good change I see so far is 20% less dmg from close range so finally we dont get oneshot by thieves anymore. In the end ele is not more than a low hp pool clothy with some boons.
Also don´t forget that the celestial amulet might take a nerf around 10% and the choice for another zerker will be easier than it is now. In addition the traitlines will lose their stats and eles will have to invest into vitality and healing power while other classes like warrior can go all the way into toughnes/direct/condi damage. When warriors can have more armor and health by nature, why can´t ele have more healing and boon duration by nature for example ? Another aspect is the upcoming burn change, if burning does less damage and has to be stacked first the eles main dmg source is getting hit aswell.
If you think ele is still good, its weaknes is one reason I´m not playing for orng and abjured also gave up on trying with ele.

The metagame is going into the direction of pure direct damage since condis are easily countered by aoe cleanse spam and the stupid amount of damage that can kill people before your conditions even tick a few times.
I fully support coordination and bursts even tho stealth oneshots can be kinda sad when you die faster than the human reaction time and only random evades can save you if you dont have access to stealth.
The classes viability is highly determined by its sigil synergie and incase you can always play air/fire sigil on zerker. Support can´t keep up with the stupid amounts of damage dealt by it which has nothing to do with coordinated burst.
What equivalent of condition sigil would it take to keep up with this?

A meta game with no place for condition damage or bunkers that requires thieves for invisibility because there is no way to actually deal with this damage except hiding is not healthy for this game. I can´t imagine anyone can be happy with this lack of diversity in competitive play.
On another note there is not just sigil synergie, but also rune synergie that has to be adressed . Too many runes require active heals while some classes only have viable passive heals. A special case here is vampirism rune, I remember Svanir rune once got nerfed because people easily avoided punishment for mistakes, if you look at vampirism rune now , it took this problem to a whole new level.

Hello, when possible i play with friends and win most of my matches, therefore my mmr is quite high. On the other hand that means when I q solo I get paired with the worst players available due to high mmr which is not fun to play and plain unfair.
The current System breaks the game experience for solo qing with high mmr.
vampirism rune , pack rune, air/fire sigil, unviable condi builds cause shoutbow.
Especially air and fire sigil are the reason why you see zerker everywhere.
I´d trade in all my ele elites at once for crate.
I can only run full premade. If I don´t have a full group I get the lowest mmr players available to make up for my high mmr and I get farmed 500-0.
I recall that a while ago svanir rune was considered being op and broken by saving people too easily, therefore the cooldown got increased. Now Vampirism rune even allows you to move, enter portals, safestomp/rezz, use toolbet skills while it has actually strong small effects with leech procs and power stats.
So I don´t understand the mentality when you say Svanir was broken and nerfed it, yet Vampirism exsists in its current form with a lower cooldown, better stats and effects and lower cooldown.
Only sad thing about current state of solo pvp are turret enngis. In unorganized pvp this build outshines everyone in groups with mediocre players while you don´t need the slightest mechanical ability to pull it off.

Did you play more before or after the update on Friday? Before the change, losing did not remove points often enough. This will even out over the remainder of the season.
Ok then it is just this bug , didnt know about it. That makes sense now.

I don´t understand how people with 30 more losses and same amounts of wins can be that far ahead in leaderboards. There are actually many people with worse stats and even less wins that are ahead of me.
