It´s the worst map in the game, it shouldn´t be in any pvp game mode.
1shots by pulling somebody are kittenet. The amount of stability in the game is not designed around this map, also the effort it takes to kill a player regular vs pulling/knocking is not justified while stealth pulls are not telegraphed and can´t be counterplayed.
As it was said already, the players feedback on this map is very bad since release of this map for obvious reasons and it shouldn´t even be in a regular hot join rotation, i rather fight on capricorn than this.

this bug is in the game since release and also happened in some big tournaments, no idea why it´s still not fixed

Currently we want to test thieves and warriors, but guardians can also have a chance to get in.
whats the fighting area?
does it favor running away and resetting or is it a conquest type of 2v2 ?

people to make teams , to practice with them and improve ,to make any pvp scene …
this please, we need some incentive to stay together as a team, not just a one time tournament. The leaderboard must work and must be rewarded properly.

the competition would be much harder increasing the numbers of teams if there was something to fight for
this build is bad, you cannot not counterpressure and you cannot outsustain any decent player while you lack range damage. There are better choices than this. The times of ranger as a melee class are over.
I do not run rune of strength and I disagree with the OP. I think Elementalists are at a good spot with that rune. Without the rune, they will be weaker than they currently are which will put them at a disadvantage again.
Also, I do not play an Elementalist or a Warrior.
If you’re of the opinion an ele is fine with might stacks why not suggest buffing ele’s personal might stacking, while nerfing the runes?
^ this, we don´t need builds that stand and fall with a buff or nerf of a runeset.
facts why strength is op:
1. 7% is not in line with other runes like rage which is 5% dmg for a boon that does not have 100% uptime
2. other runes dont have 2x 4set bonus.
3. 90% of the pvp population is using this rune
Still looking for guardians and warriors to try out. Exceptional engis might also get a chance aswell as thieves.
I didn´t receive any mail from anet so far, got #3 in tol, not sure if i can choose with that between anything tho. Waiting for tol reward aswell as the last 2 esl weekly wins.

rune sets influence the meta alot, like lyssa and strength, both didn´t favour conditions.
Right now strength runes grants 7% dmg for the easiest boon to keep up(might) which makes no sense compared to rune of rage etc AND it got 2x 4set boni which is also not in line with most of the runes.
We are looking for s/d thief, warrior, guardian, ele. We still have to test lineups. If you are necro or ranger we won´t have a spot for you and i also think it´s very unlikely that engi/mesmer will make it into our team.

leave trebuchet, go 5man on map. Your job was done, you probably hit someone with the trebuchet and forced a player to move to the treb. If you go to help your team you will have 1 additional player on the map while thief is busy killing it (30sec).
If you are using sword mainhand and scepter mainhand your build is weak and you will struggle with all half decent players.
i know you cant stop people from afking on purpose or disconnecting etc, but how about report function for afkers and no leaderboard minus points for 4v5s or just remove a leaderboard that doesn´t show the skill level of the player. I don´t see the point of it being in the game.
Staff ele lacks own single target damage. You could see me using staff ele in the quarter finals of the ToL. I had to use pirate runes and keep my parrot alive with heals and protection in order to create counter pressure cause i dont have own damage sources. Dps classes like engi, warrior, mesmer etc destroy you pretty easy cause you lack counter pressure and they can easily overextend/pve on you. Also bad to get points back vs guards due to lack of damage. You survive better and bring more support than dd ele but a 5v5 is not large scale enough to make staff ele 1st choice so i will probably go to dd ele or play warrior again.
solo q is not more than hotjoin lol, i get people with the worst builds possible and lineups that don´t make sense at all. It is only the fact that there is a leaderboard which makes people think this has anything to do with skill. Ofc better players will make it higher since it´s more likely they will carry their team to win, butit is still stupid in terms of competition.

Hey, I just want to clear up that we are not looking for a legend tourney roster and you might have to reroll to another class cause i see issues with the viability of your main class while i am playing the same 3 classes as you.

Hello everybody, once again I am looking for the best players in this game to form a new team. As you might have noticed my last team cheese mode doesn´t exsist anymore, but the core is still willing to come back and bring all their experience.
At the moment we don´t have a concrete plan on what classes we need due to the new patch, so every class except ranger is welcome.
We try to test many players in duels and team q to judge on their mechanical skills aswell as communication and rotations/overview/understanding of the game. Please understand that we can´t test everyone so only contact us if you are sure to fit into our team.

Something is wrong when a class with over 3k armor (heavy armour + toughnes amulet) is getting hit by illusions for over 6k constantly, sry but either strength runes or something else causes this problem, but other glass canons would just get oneshotted by npcs.
These are exactly the kinds of runes we need to counter the condi spam meta. Because of these runes, power builds are being looked at again as a means to neutralize the favor towards condi builds. You now see more GS warrirors, power engis, and power necros. It’s not the perfect solution, but it is a step.

There are players of all niches, not just dps zerker and those builds using strength runes would still be viable with different sets of runes / nerfed strength runes.
The goal can´t be to have a dps zerker meta, the goal must be to open up all variations and strategies to have similar chances if played correctly.

This rune is way over the top. 2x 4 set boni is not in line with other runes and 7% dmg under the effect of might is simply too much. With the recent sigil changes everyone has access to perma migth and this synergy is simply broken. Please stop this power creep cause the only way to face 25 migth glass cannons is simply to kill them quickly cause there is no way they can be outlasted by any sustained build.
If you made different experiences please share them with me, but that´s how i feel about this rune.

Why do you apply pve skin on my pvp characters and not the other way around, that´s not fair at all?
The 80 transmutation stones are not enough for all my Characters!
I have to spend transmutation stones on my pvp chars and if i level them up or even exchange an armor piece on an 80 character i have to keep the old transmutated piece in my bag all the time just so i can look nice in pvp?
Is this the final version or will we see changes to the system? Can´t believe it at the moment.

We are not all quitting the game, but the effort to run as a team with tourney schedules etc is just not worth it for no reward. Some take a break and focus on studying, some will pug around, pve or find another team. The meta also became boring.
Maybe a balance+reward patch next year can motivate us
I know devs are working on it with all their passion.
As you have seen in last esl this pause option is really needed. When 10 people play over 4 hours there will always be dc´s and versus the best teams you won´t stand a chance in a 4v5. This time it totally screwed us over and it happened to other teams and will continue like this in the future if there is no change to this.

Why? Because we have 2 weapon sets?
devs mentioned that you can use 2 sigils on 2handed weapons AND you might be able to use 2 active sigils aswell + other classes get nerfed so mesmer is in a good place.
For those unfamiliar with what a transform is in PvP, it is a skill that changes your skill bar.

Decap engi is a horrible build, there is no counterplay for the majority of builds/classes. It´s only good for diversity and only aslong as it stays out of meta.

It is more than just annoying on a high level pvp when particle effects shut a melee down for seconds so you lose range to a target and lose the whole fight / game.
they got 9 seconds internal cooldowns so they wont proc more than on any other 2handed class
I just hope devs understand that ele will never make it into meta as a bursty roamer like mesmer / thief cause they are not sneaky. Even if they can oneshot someone, it´s unreliable and 1 rezz would make them useless. Their boons and heals make them pretty supportive by nature especially with staff, but in a 5v5 everyclass must be stable on it´s own which ele is not due to crap ratio of surviveability/dmg, even as full bunker you sometimes die in one stun chain, 1 pistol whip etc.

Roles of ranger and necro are inverted. It should be necro who survives on point with life steals, shroud and shouldnt need to go full offensive but got cc instead while rangers got all it needs to jump around, kite and roam between points while kiting.
