Once you complete x traitline, you gain a scroll which you have to consume. Then it should be opened in the panel where i got it

I have unlocked it. It require random tasks. One of them is to kill karka queen. And it need 4 unlocked skins as well like barbaric, scale etc.

My guild wars 2 folder is 23.5 gb at the moment,im sure it used to be 21 gb.
I think i read that hot will use 35gb,so im expecting an 11.5 gb download on the 23rd.
I could be wrong though.

Keep in mind that we already have probably 90% of the HoT content. Its just not activated. I seriously doubt 11gb will be added.

90%? Where you pulled that number from? Beta? Beta had olny 1 map and on top of that it wasnt even fully revealed. There is tons of stuff to download. New items, new fractals, new maps..mobs.. story.. Not all was put in to prevent datamining.

On top of that changes based on feedback.

staff and a generosity sigil can work wonders, it’s 4 condis cleansed on a 10s cooldown. you won’t really run that on a dps revenant though but i’m not running a full dps revenant build anyway.

tbh nobody cares about scullcrack warriors. they are rare and useless so why build for something that you won’t encounter 99,9% of the time?

Staff has 15cd, generosity 10. Its 3 condi total when most condi builds can put 8 condi on you so unless youre lucky with rng it may not save you at all.

You also missed the picture about catching rev out of UA. Its not just skullcrack, its me with jade winds. Its reaper with chill to the bone (unbreakable), its chrono with gravity well. Its anyone that can time their cc.

You also can pressure much better with stab on you as know you dont have to fear cc. See that pesky lb ranger? Dodge for stab and go for him. Fear not pint blank wont do a kitten. See that rifle engi? Fear not overshoot wont do any harm either.

While dev/invo/herald builds had decent damage they also been squishy to the point where people just stunlocked them to death.

And rev is not made to stomps? Please explain me why you wouldnt make use of quickness on demand to stomp ppl?

Jalis hammers are best for tagging as long..terrain is flat. Same goes for hammer.

Other than that its hard to choose between staff and sword..Staff overall has better cleave but rift from sword cleaves mobs even better (rifts can hit up to 12 times)

I hope it stay as selfroot. Theres nothing easier than hb some poor nab guard trying to use his skill and in exchange taking far more damage

In reality tho – selfroot without defensive abilities = im here, burst me down. It would be better if they buffed it damage to match rapid fire but also increased cd to 8 sec.

I cant imagine lb being any good in pvp due to selfroots on 2 skills in a mobile game.

Ah..howered i still doubt that hambow can take ele 1v1, hammer is quite telegraphed.

I give up invocation as after all..devastation provides small amount of healing which is more helpfun than invocation. Not to mention life stealing bypasses such things as endure pain etc.

Sadly no. Unless you want to feel like a necro – ping pong. You cant really secure stomps, you have to carefully use UA (i teached my skullcrack friend already to catch out rev right as they finish UA so enjoy 4sec stuns once more ppl learn it)

Staff wont save you to condi either, better to run hammer if you want to prevent condi in the first place.

And i dont understand ppl running marauder too – berserker all the way as rev can affort it.

td;dr for ppl that dindt bother to read – revenant is locked into Shiro/Glint like ele in arcana/water lines.

And i disagree with reaper, sd engi or hambow countering rev unless you run some subpar build. Espesially hambows as they just cry at my double stab on dodge.

What advantage Jalis has over Glint except fun factor?

Stunbreak? Hmm not really..
Reveal? Sadly no.
Tankiness? Well nope
Protection on demand? Nop.
Fury? Nah
Burst? (elemental+str burst) Well nope
Support? There is some support in form of little dmg reduction but its quite poor compared to Glint boons+aoe 50% boon duration
Coverting all damage you take to healing? Um no but instead we have crappy 5,5k hp on 30cd and 1 sec casttime

At this point tell me why i should use Jalis over Glint?

Glint is mandatory right now due to how crappy Jalis is. That legend has nothing going for it except hammers which breaks on uneven terrain, walls and w/e. Healing skill is poor, stab skill is a joke, taunt nearly useless and can be strafed/deflected/reflected. Rite of the dward – too high cost for too little reward cause what is 50% reduction? 17% more than protection..its not a big deal espesially when we consider a necro hopping into ds for 50% as well. Rite also doesnt work as stunbreak ability.

If you dont run Glint you simply lack standing power due to lack of sustain. Shiro/Jalis may work in pve but not in pvp. Jalis is a legend that needs overhaul as it doesnt even have any synergy between his skillset.

Look at your dat file. From the HoT faq we know that with the Expac it should be around 35GB. That should give you a solid idea of how much you will have left to download once expac goes live

Sword offhand is purely pvp wep. Theres no reason to bring it in pve unless you need block. And something to keep in mind – more elite specs will be coming in future so you wont have shield always unless you plan to run Glint forever.

Howered thief community still failing to realize why there are basically 0 berserker (marauder actually..) builds tho.

I personally going to stick with traveler runes both pve and pvp and dont give a kitten about swiftness from Glint.

Duration is capped at 100% so forget about 9 seconds. Max you can get is 8. Condi rev wont be viable in pve unless there wont be any difference in damage between moving and standing still tormented foe. We basically have damage from torment reduced by 50% in pve as mobs dont really move much.

Howered lets hope that the trait Roy spoken about will bring torment damage to the point where it wont make difference between standing and moving foes.

Unlocking your elite spec is a training line in your training panel that costs hero points. You do need to have trained all the existing training lines before you’re allowed to put hero points into your elite spec.

That is so extremely lame. I personally do not like revenant very much but loved herald. So I’m basically stuck doing an insane grind with a class I don’t like, being forced to do content on a character I don’t like, then unlock I character I do like but can’t redo hero points with a class I want to do it on

I have different experience on the other hand. I prefer base rev and Shiro+Jalis as Jalis feels much more fun for me to play but till they dont get him right i will be stuck with Glint. Theres something wrong when youre forced to take elite spec which was olny supposed to alter playstyle..

At least i did read that we gain 10 points per hero challenge in jungle. Theres also runes/skins etc in Herald so overall cost is lower than 400. Maybe it wont be too bad

It’s 40 hero challenges within HoT. Even less if you currently have excess hero points. Not a big deal…

I’d take a look at what the other tiers do. It’s highly unlikely maps will be locked out by masteries above the first tier. I wouldn’t be surprised if sections of a map were blocked off though.
