I’m extremely active in WvW as well. I play a few hours in EU primetime, and when my guild ends it’s raid, I pop onto my NA account and join in the WvW raids there.

And yet I still come here to post my views. And yes I have a job :P
But anyway, the real complaint is that after asking for a new fsp, we didnt hear anything for over a month, then the thread disappeared when we asked, and now no mention of them assigning the new fsp.

Where did this zhonnika.1784 come from?! Post history shows they are a WvW player who most likely left the forums due to non-communication from the devs, and only comes back every now and again. Or only started to repost cos they were made fsp.

Remember when Devon said it takes 6-8 months to map and test a WvW map. Then after 8 months we didnt see a new map and then when we asked again Devon said it takes a lot longer to make a map.

Remember when Devon said WvW changes would come after Dec 31st 2013, and then we saw nothing.

Remember when after 9 pages of replies to this thread, we havent seen another red post.

I’ve popped over to NA T1 and it took the group more than 30 minutes to find an enemy group in a desert bl!!!

Can you imagine running around for 30 minutes for a fight that lasts only a few, then back to 30 mins of looking?!

And this is NA T1, the most populated servers of them all!

…still complain cos you never do anything right. So even if it’s just bringing back the old BLs, I know you’ll mess it up somehow!

The zerg moved to EB, they attacking all our towers and keep at the same time!
OMG we cant move maps for another 10 minutes! There’s not enough people to defend! We’re gonna lose everything!

K move back to EB and recap everything!
Enemy zerg is on our BL again taking all the towers!
That’s it I’m calling it.

How did you not see this issue before suggesting a time gate to changing maps.
Add that and everyone will leave for sure!

Sorry if I’m not that excited about this post, but we’ve all heard this before.

I’ll believe it when I see it, and then again will it be changes we want, or what anet wants?!

It’s not just WvW and sPvP players who are complaining now, but PvE players as well!

HoT has been the worst expansion ever!

One big complaint from us, one giant headache for anet.

WvW was supposed to be a main selling point of the game, but Anet just havent been able to keep up. The dont have the resources, money, manpower for it. This has been seen and admitted by the devs.

The state of WvW is that they’d rather see it die and replace it with something else, as is evident with the alliance vs alliance thing.

Some players may like it, some may not. Either case is that WvW is removed from the game entirely.

If even the NA T1 servers are complaining that their desert bls are also mostly empty there, then how do you think silver or even bronze league servers will be like?

T1 servers have the greatest population among the servers, so if they are having trouble then there is a real porblem.
And those that are in the desert bls are only there to do stuff whilst they wait for their EB queue to hit!

Even worse is why have we not had a single response from anet regarding this since launch of HoT?!

A lot of people play in WvW because they like the big fights.

The problem with the desert bl is that it is too big, has way too much pve crap.

In EB and the old bls you could get into a fight within minutes. In the desert bl you can be roaming around looking for the enemy for more than 30 minutes!

Because most people dont like the new bl, you rarely get orange swords. And when you do, it takes you so long to get there that by the time you arrive, the enemy have left.

All the new BLs have done have reduced fights and increased PvD!

And once again WvW is not your priority as you claimed it would be after HoT release!

Players are complaining more than ever in the WvW forum, yet no dev have come to respond!

The new maps are not wanted as they are not what we asked for!

Just bring back the old maps!

Please change title to:

The community can’t handle change that they said was a terrible idea and never asked for in the first place!

We do need a new map, but not this pve one!

I’d rather have the old orbs than the ruins! They never got rid of the hackers, remove one, two more appear.

I say go back to launch settings, but update with the culling, lag, and optimisation settings; and updates we want, not what they want!

The problem with the gem store is that apart from finishers, everything else is for PvE.

Toys are disabled in WvW cos a few of them give an unfair advantage. So instead of fixing, they just removed, the usual Anet way.

They can add skins for siege, even skins for towers so when you claim it the structure changes.

When do the devs work on WvW?

Well actually all WvW players are typically really into PvE, we always work on PvE, so we must also always work on WvW!

Remember when things were, according to Anet, unblanaced? Before they nerfed everything.

It used to take hours to take an enemy garrison.
Now you can take it in minutes.

Anet have removed all the fun out of WvW.

Technically we are supposed to get the old maps back after being tweaked.
Technically we are supposed to have map rotations
Technically we are supposed to have more than 1 map in order to have a rotation.
Technically we are supposed to have a rotation to prevent any one map from becoming stagnant.

So yes, even EB needs replacing, but after this disaster, replacing EB with a EOTM style map will most likely kill WvW for good!

There is a solution, but Anet wont ever do it because all the bandwagoners will complain.

Kick everyone from every server and then control the rate at which players can then join a server.
To prevent guilds from losing members, guilds can apply to a server, and when spaces are open they can all be let in. But they will not be guaranteed that server and be offered another to prevent all guild applying to the same server.

Indeed, the only way for so many server to become open is if they all were tanking for the last 2 weeks; or the more plausible reason: players are leaving WvW.

Now the problem will be how they calculate populations.
Is a Full server above a certain number of active players. Is that number decided by another calculation? If so then in another 2-4 weeks we may see several servers become Full again.
But this will not mean that players have returned, it will mean the Full cut-off point has been lowered. So dont let that fool you if it happens.

Yeah sorry, it’s my fault after I asked Gaile where the 2nd fsp was seeing as it had been over a month and we had not heard anything.

But I do love how they claimed this fsp thing was supposed to improve communication, when even archonwing cant get an answer from them!
I think all he has is an email address to send his report to, I bet he’s never got a reply back.

I saw that charged quartz could only be crafted once per day.
That was over a year ago.
So I bought 150 stacks of quartz and been crafting it most days.
I now have over 300 charged quartz, and 80 stacks of normal quartz. And thats after I used quite a few for guild upgrades mats.
