Do these two traits stack damage with each other? dumb question…
I’ve been seeing some Ele’s use this now with Diamond Skin of course. And SoR didn’t get a buff or anything, but there was a fix to it that made it so it healed correctly with certain skills or something?
out of all the heals, i think I’ve seen ether renewal and GoEH the most recently, and maybe Arcane Brilliance… thoughts?
I really love the downed state mechanic in any aspect of GW2 whether it be Pve, Wvw, Pvp, dungeons/fractals.
I really like it because you have that chance to revive/rez an ally and potentially change the outcome of a match.
its not the end of the world, relax. 25 skill points won’t kill you. If you want it, then you gotta earn it. Some people agree with it, some don’t but ppl have their opinions. And not necessarily all the new healing skills are good. You still have 3 other healing utilities though, it’s not like you don’t have anything to heal you.
But thats only with the Total Makeover kit faces right? And i would have to agree that some of those faces are a little silly/kitty-like. But it could work out alright if u change the facial features a bit… maybe…maybe not

Just take axe/focus and scepter/x. use ghastly claws and spinal shivers or something like that and then burst. its really not that hard to figure out. or even better yet, do what Sonof Krypton suggested. Conditions still hurt an Ele if it deals direct damage and if they have diamond skin.
Or you could just pop into Lich Form, use Grim Specter, Chilling wind(knock back) and then mark of horrorYou can also use a two handed axe that deals condition damage in your power build… how does that sound ? Come on it’s not that hard…

Terror builds still work :P or if u don’t want to take that, use axe/focus and have scepter/x for your swap. necro Condibuilds aren’t dead at all. You can’t just face roll all your Condi’s on a target and hope that they die now…pop into Lich Form. problem solved

Throw on Short Temper and/or Mighty Defense with Retalition build ftw
The build i threw together wasn’t for DPS at all. it was strictly seeing if I could break the 500hp per sec. and I don’t even use healing signet. rarely i’d only use it for bunkering down and being a condi-noob. But most of the time, i use any decent Dps/survival build
every build i’ve run works fine with me, even with some nerfs/moved traits. You gotta learn to adapt as changes happen and quit your whining and complaining. every1 else has had nerfs too, Ele isn’t the only one. Figure out something that works for you, Phi :P

and u have to have banner of tactics up to get 501 Hps. (I just have signet of might+dolyak signet, because it adds to your overall healing power)
a heavy hood? That doesn’t make any sense at all :P
I was thinking it might be better off in Pve, but in Pvp it could still be decent, depending on your opponent’s crit chance.
And also, does the sigil of luck have an ICD? if not, then you could run into a mob and gain tons of any boon, even though its a 50% chance. that’s a pretty high frequency

But i just thought of something: make conjurer a master/probably a grandmaster trait and when u picked it up, your weapon skills were replaced, as well as utilities. but u’d still have healing utility. +15 more charges… meh
Does the duration stack at all? I know that the crit damage doesn’t.
you probably don’t have it equipped on your water breather. that’s the most likely reason
I’ve been thinking about conjured weapons and the trait. Yeah, it’s nice to have 10 more charges, but they go to waste really fast/easily because of the auto attacks of most conjured weapons.
How about if the auto-attack chains counted as 1 use, rather than 3? just a suggestion. i don’t see it happening soon, seeing as Christmas is right around the corner and ppl got stuff to do and all that…
but yeah…a little change to conjured weapons in the future? maybe? maybe not.

Somewhere in the Metrica Province or Brisban Wildlands, you can buy a hylek tonic and actually use it in combat :O it only has 1 attack skill, but hey, it works.
imo, i think some of the new charr hairstyles are pretty weird lookin. if any1 else agrees, cool. But, what I want to discuss is what kind of new body types you might want to see if any get added in the future.
not that it bothers me a whole lot, but i think something should be done specifically with charr and their slouch. I’ve seen a thread or two like this before, but maybe the light armor charr should be made to stand upright and keep the medium/heavy armor charr how they are.
And for new body appearances, here’s a few things I’d like to see:
-a worn/ragged fur option be selectable.
- maybe a skin that has some horns/spikes sticking out of it?
- or fur that looks more fuzzy/frizzy than the rest
- new/more horn options or some of the current ones slightly changed
- Charr war paint???

What do you other charr players think about this? I know a lot of the current options are pretty good, but i feel like every other charr I see is the same as the last player I saw, or just another player who wants to make a hideously fat charr with the biggest horns and head imaginable :/

I remember back in the day when there were gem rewards for Tpvp and i think gems were only rewarded for the 1st place team plus rank points/glory and a gold reward chest. Then did 2nd place get gems? i don’t think it did. just rank points and a silver reward chest. But how much gems were rewarded and how long were they available before they were removed?

i got bored, so i tried brainstorming a buff to tornado. (decent idea)
Tornado lasts at least 20 seconds instead of 15. And when you swap attunements, you become enveloped with an effect based on the attuenement you’re in.
Fire: become a giant flaming vortex, burning nearby foes.
Water: become a massive whirling current, chilling nearby foes and have a small chance to freeze enemies in a block of ice.
Air: You are empowered with excessive winds and launch nearby foes.
Earth: gather up dust and debris and become a dust devil, blinding nearby foes and crippling them.
(maybe 2-3 skills per attunement. idk. I’m just spitballing)
Fire Attunement
Firestorm: unleash multiple bolts of fire around you, damaging foes
Blazing Defense: enchant nearby allies with a fire aura. (5 seconds)
Incinerator: unleash a cone of continuous fire in an arc around you, damaging and burning nearby targets.
Water Attunement
Freezing Rain: cripple and chill nearby foes while damaging them over time, periodically hitting them with ice shards.
Frostfall: summon 5 giant spikes to revolve around you shortly before hitting the ground, exploding and inflicting vulnerability and weakness on nearby targets.
Chilling armor enchant nearby allies with a frost aura (7 seconds) and protection
Air Attunement
Whirlwind: _you are protected with swirling winds that reflect projectiles and destroy all unblockable projectiles. (10 seconds)
Forceful Winds: you launch nearby foes far away from you
just tell me what you think. and yes, something like this obviously wouldn’t happen anytime in the near future.

Do the extra damage trait/skill effects stack with each other? For example, if you went 30/30/x/x/x with Beastmaster Signet and Moment of Clarity using Greatsword/Greatsword (just go with it…) and you used Signet of the Wild and Hunt, would that mean that your next attack after interrupting a target deals +325% more damage? i seriously doubt this, and that’s not even including that your next attack is a huge crit…
Hilt Bash + Maul = a lot of damage then…
What if they made it so Ricochet has a faster projectile movement?
How do you manage to be able to save your laurels to buy ascended rings/amulets etc when they cost so much when you could just buy tons of t6 mats or 10unid dyes and sell them for a lot money instead?
The last few times i’ve saved my laurels, i’ve always blew them all on t6 mats back before t7 mats came out and every time i did, I kinda regretted it, but at the same time i was glad because i had more money. but later, I eventually learned to just deal with it and save up my laurels, no matter how tempting it was every time I looked at how many I had, and resisted wasting my hard-earned laurels on something else… :P

I like zerker builds but the problem is that they are glassy ofc. (usually) and if you could find a good balance between defense + crit and crit damage mostly, that would be pretty cool
oh yes. absolutely. but I’m just saying that obviously beast mastery makes your pet all that much better. You could also run 30 WS with Empathic Bond+bear(shake it off is great)+signet of renewal. that’s already 4 conditions cleared every 10 seconds. and 2 conditions cleared every 25 secs. AND you could use something as crazy as soldier runes + “Guard” and shout master trait to get almost 5 conditions cleared every 10 seconds
you could just put 30 into beast mastery and be good to go pretty much.
i’m really invested in making a mace-zerker build because Sundering Mace/Cull the Weak is just yelling in my face and plus the mace auto-attack does a lot of damage anyway.
Which runes are the best DPS runes? I’m looking at runes of the thief, runes of the eagle or i could just stick with ogre runes and run pure power build
in my opinion, i think that one of the biggest nerfs was the nerf to SoR a while back. That and removing the stun break from cleansing fire, LF, and locking mist form and RTL. But those 2 are kind of understandable, seeing as you’re invulnerable/evading attacks and able to use utilities while in it.
But i think that the buffs/changes in 2 days are pretty good. especially with arcane retribution/power CD reduction, blasting staff, cleansing fire, embers might, burning rage…alot of the changes are pretty good in my opinion, but i am little upset that elemental attunement is moving to master tier, but thats kind of understandable.
I just wanna point out that not all the new healing skills aren’t necessarily better…
