you can’t expect that Anet WILL implement everything they said they would later on in the year. Yes, there’s a lot left to be implemented, but some of those changes are just insanely huge, like adding new skills and traits. That takes a lot of time and effort/balancing etc. New maps in Spvp is also a really big and time-consuming task. There’s been 3 new maps added to Pvp since launch, and though that may not seem like a lot of maps, Wvw’ers only had the current map, and now, Edge of the Mists is coming out like in a few days? And I bet, after that, Anet might be able to squeeze in at least another update/patch or two I didn’t even know that they were working on/made a new Wvw map until about a week ago

“Victory Is Mine” is essentially the vigorous shouts trait…which seems to fit alright. Bulls charge makes a little less sense as a stance…imo, bulls charge in gw2 is fine as is. And decapitate is almost exactly like Eviscerate, minus the deep wound thing. And now, looking back on it, a ton of the skills in gw1 were just straight up insane. Backbreaker knockdown for 4 secs while they eat a frenzy full of insane crits? gg
A champ that I can easily solo, though its a group event, is Victurus the Shattered. Before the little fix to the event, his minions used to respawn really fast like every 30 secs, but afterwards it was easier. It’s a little annoying to deal with all the minions, but after that, Victurus is a breeze. He hardly does any damage and he has a decent amount of health.
Another champ that I’ve solo’d is a champion risen Juggernaut in Sparkfly Fen. (it was either there or some zone around there…) But its’ attacks were predictable enough so that you could either dodge or evade or whatever. It was easier with my warrior just cuz sometimes it would go into a recovery/invuln/block state and i would watch my might stacks fly up from Short Temper. The risen juggernaut does a buttload of damage. It has a fiery rush skill and you really don’t want to be anywhere near the fire field obviously, but if you get caught in it, you don’t want to stand more than a second in it :P And it also has a triple lava tomb ability Overall, if you’re smart and decently equipped, you should be able to kill it, but it will take awhile.
other weak sauce champions include: the frost gorge sound corrupted Quaggan, Giant Branded Devourer, some of the champ spiders in Queensdale, Flame Legion Effigy, all the personal story champs and legendary bosses, and all the Epic bosses when u make a new char
Though it’d be cool to have mounts, it’d be ridiculously OP in Wvwvw. Imagine the stampeding zergs of Dolyak riders… or a bunch of little asuras riding svanir bears. Imagine an army of Charr hitching rides on an army of Flame Effigies…
Or men riding dragons, throwing wolves at maggots…

the ranks dont mean anything except how much you play spvp.
nobody is rank 80 yet. Nobody is. The highest ranking player is somewhere 75-78
the only thing that pvp rank means is more weapon and armor skins that you can unlock/use, as well as the next rank finisher…it’s mainly for looks and plus, being a higher rank doesn’t mean that you’re better. It just means that you’ve either spent a lot of time in spvp OR you’ve spent a few weeks farming rank points/glory in Skyhammer just to get to rank 50+ like every1 else is these days…
You can be rank 60 and get absolutely demolished by someone who’s rank 5…
So, spectral walk doesn’t really have a range, right? So, could you pop SW in Wvw or Pve, hop into a mesmers portal, then after it closes you hit spectral recall and you’d be back to where you were at before you went thru the portal, right?
I think nerfing earth shaker by 20% then nerfing burst mastery damage by 3% is too much of a nerf just for the sake of hammer warriors because then earth shaker will deal less damage than the hammer auto attack. It’d be fine if earth shaker got a 10 or 15% nerf, but 20% with burst mastery nerf is a little much. i don’t know why burst mastery is getting a 3% nerf. It’s 30 in discipline and not too many people go 30 discipline anymore… And people are worrying about damage with hammer? Backbreaker still deals the most damage for a hammer warrior, so idk why people are crying. CC skills are annoying despite how much damage they do.
Unsuspecting Foe is a great trait and tons of people think warriors will be unviable or something because it’s moving to master tier. :P personally I think it should’ve stayed in adept but just be toned down to something like a 33% increase crit chance vs stunned foes
also, theres a TON of other skins that are missing that could be implemented into pvp as well

it’s fun to scout out zones for glitches that let you walk right out of the map. But i’m wondering if anet plans on getting to fixing them at one point or another.
Some of the map exploits that have been fixed that i know of are in Ashford (around the decimus stones area), Divinity’s Reach with being able to get on top of the city, and Spirit Watch in Pvp.
There’s map glitches in Fields of Ruin, Snowden Drifts, Mount Maelstrom, Forest of Niflhel, Skyhammer…thats all I know of so far. There might be one in Frostgorge sound. Oh and there’s one in Fireheart Rise
I’m just wondering why, when you make a new character, that all of them have the exact same voice, and it doesn’t matter if you’re really big or short, or if you have a different face, you’re voice will be the same as everyone else who makes the same gender and race as you.
Isn’t it currently out of gw2? because the reason i remember was the massive throw exploit….which was a pretty huge bug. But it was a pretty fun mini game imo
i shouldn’t be doing this, but i compared the pvp amulet stats to a Pve setup with full exotic gear, accessories too (without food, runes/sigils/crests or orbs.) and it’s a little higher than what the Pvp stats are at. Should the Pvp stats be boosted a little or not? I didn’t even take into account the ascended stats…
They are the exact same skill and I can understand one of them bleeds and the other chills, but only the Ice storm on the bow got buffed, and the ice storm from the glyph didn’t. cmon… and the cool down on the glyph is like twice as long
I agree! This is indeed quite a hazard to ships’ navigation. I’m glad somebody stepped up and said something about this!
And I would also like to point out the similar rocks and jagged rocks like this at the bottom of the Diverse Ledges waypoint. It’s a severe safety hazard to all the divers!

I gotta say, I like anywhere around LA/kryta especially around the beach-ish areas I love the Diverse Ledges waypoint cuz just i like the underwater scenery of old lions arch and also, who doesn’t love a nice dive?
Gendarran Fields is also another great place. The coolest place there imo is party island/party rock however u wanna call it its slightly northwest of the Ascalon Settlement wp. And yeah, blood tide is and timberline falls are fantastic and Judgement Rock in southeast Mount Maelstrom is just like the perfect hangout XD

And also, this is a fun map and is more skill-based. All the “broken abused bad map mechanics” of the map that you guys whine about, is what makes the map fun. There’s hardly anything broken about the map at all. It comes down to skill and positioning, mainly positioning. Though I will comment about how often it is in map rotations. its just crazy. Like last night i was watching Ostrich Eggs’s twitch stream and i’m sure he got sky hammer like 3 times in a row at least
and I think there should be 2 archers on each of the bases’ gates too
I just want to say, that even if you are tanky, the soldiers and casters still do a decent amount of damage and making them do 50% more damage is just a bit much and giving them 200% more health? really? i can understand giving Lord more health, but maybe 50%-75% more hp
so…i guess i can rule out the fact that it doesn’t fear enemies every time they come within the radius throughout 6 seconds…or is that what happens? cuz to me, that just sounds like a forcefield of fear when you’re rezing an ally
Oh and why is necro the only class with 2 reviving traits? or is mark of revival+ritual of life because of there’s no +10% faster revive speed necro trait?

The only part about this trait and for other classes, is if you’re attempting to go down a steep ledge/slope, say going down the side of Rata Sum, it’ll proc like 5 times in a sec XD it comes in handy in a lot of situations
hmm. I have never noticed this at all. its a little surprising, but it hasn’t affected bothered me
i already have an 80 warrior, so thats out of the way, my other lower classes are ranger (40-ish) guardian (20-30ish) and elem(40-50ish) and Im thinking of going for a signet build. It’s too early for me to tell what exactly I want to run with my guard, and for my elem, maybe I should just go zerker d/d when i get to that point, or just end up face rolling some random build thru Pve.

i’ve been really into ranger lately. and which pets do the most damage? Cats, or birds?
Which class is the best at dealing direct damage? I want to say it’s either warrior or a signet/beastmaster ranger. Or maybe an elementalist. But I just want 1 Pve char that does a bunch of direct damage, because why not?
with the upcoming insane cd decrease to tempest defense and other trait changes, there will probably be more aura builds around and that’s something i’ve always wanted to run, especially magnetic wave and the higher procs of shock aura.
Does any warrior use Mobile strikes? Mainly in pvp? it’s a good trait in the discipline line among other good traits too, so it’s kind of a risk…
And what about Sweet Revenge? There’s a few times where it actually comes in handy, but there are those times when you get vengeance off and you end up downing your enemy, thinking “why didn’t I trait sweet revenge?” also, though it’s not in the discipline line, has anyone ever used Vigorous Return? there’s other traits that are more useful than it, but if you rally, 25% more health is a decent amount of hp given the more you have and you regain all your endurance.
Am i reading that trait right? :/ do you gain 25% more health and have twice as much endurance when you rally? or do you just get your endurance refilled? the description is just a little confusing… but yeah

with all this being said about glyphs, does any1 think glyphs should get a buff?
I don’t know how the animation is for other races when using Flamestrike, but on charr, it just feels really slow and weird. I think it might make the animation look and feel better if it used like the charr necro animation with the blood curse chain, except not nearly as fast…

all it takes is 4 s/s lb warriors and 1 necro to pop epidemic and voila, you have 20 stacks of torment and 10+secs of immobilize + a bunch of other conditions ticking away…Aoe torment
I agree with Chokolata for lightning reflexes removing cripple, chill and immobilize, just like warrior’s Restorative strength, tho that’s a trait, but with the same idea.
I would suggest something but realized the potential OP-ness of it: rangers with Mobile Strikes. Would it be Op? I mean, assuming you use sword and just spam 1, you never worry about immobilize, though you can still be crippled and chilled.
GS can net you 3 1/4 might stack. Empower might nets you maximum 5 stacks if you crit as soon as it goes of cooldown. The sigil can net you about 10 stacks assuming the same above statement.
That is a total of 18 stacks if you have no boon duration. And no downtime and crit everytime it goes of cooldown without any spare time between.
However as most Guardian using GS know, the might from the Auto-attack is terrible.
And Zerk Guard are rare cause a fully specced zerker Guard would die instantly to most other classes.
i’ve noticed most GS zerker guards go down rather fast, and not just from the low base hp either
