CAN SOMEBODY PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT EXACTLY IS GOING ON HERE with all this talk of rytlock and zojja being gone and something about Mad King Thorn and Scarlet?! and it sounds like some shiz iz bout to get real at D.R. on the 20th. I haven’t been on gw2 in 5 days!
All of you are wrong XD Rytlock is still in BC. just make new charr XD :P
“We are the Watchknights. Your biological, magical and technological distinctiveness will be added to our own. Resistance is futile.”
“ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!”
lol that warrior was playing whack-a-mole about halfway through that vid XD
I like the idea of the trait. Its a little lackluster as a GM trait though. gaining 5 secs of retaliation once every 15 seconds if struck by a critical hit is such a short duration.
Should either be increased to 10 seconds or keep at 5 seconds and add weakness or vulnerability to your attacker every time you’re struck.Should also add 5 seconds of protection.
Dangit, Daecollo! Stop asking for protection on warriors! it’d be way overkill.

Alright so linked below is my current set up. I normal run in pug zergs that can range from just a few people to a big ball of folks, the only time I solo roam is when I am getting to where I need to go so I am not concerned with 1v1 effectiveness. Basically my goal is to be a front liner, charge in and wreak cc havoc with the hammer. I use hammer + sword/wh (for mobility + blast finisher). Right now I try to balance survivability and a little extra damage by mixing in berserker gear with my soldiers. What I want to know is if the little extra crit chance/damage is worth it or if I should just go for pure defense (especially since I am about to burn some laurels on ascended gear for my warrior). I could also use some advice on what weapon sigils to use, I am just using some I had already. Also which heal ability, I switch between the signet and surge and not sure which is better.
Edit: Had a wrong trait slotted in the build
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQNBiYDbk0J5t5RGCHOggeohcRVoKMHpHiBakGA-jEzAoLBZCCEBCmQAk8AyeMasV2ioxqdwUlK16yA5xDk3YZ1yAwsAA-wThanks
I like the shout/heal build with hammer and s/shield. I was going to suggest going mace/shield and hammer, but I didn’t notice you were running WvW. Warbanner is great for zerg buffing on-the-go and rezzing allies. I might suggest using longbow instead of sword/wh, because it offers more aoe capabilities and is more effective in WvW…though WH is
Take out Merciless Hammer for Last Stand. the chance you’ll be hitting stunned players in WvW zergs is slim.
I don’t personally know a whole lot when it comes to WvW, aside from stacking buffs on zergs (especially swiftness,) staying together for the most part…basic stuff like that. But I do know that zerker and defense don’t necessarily blend real well. If i were you, go defensive. Don’t worry about you being able to kill people. Plenty of other people in the zerg will rip your targets apart. All you have to do is land at least 1 aoe attack on a few enemies, watch your zerg down them and you get plenty of credit from it.
Switch out one of your utilities for Stomp if you want to stack a lot of aoe might. Firefield + F.G.J, Arc Arrow, EarthShaker, Warbanner = 15 stacks of might.
-Don’t just spam might buffs in a zerg.
-Maintaining 25 stax of might is difficult to do, but it’s easily accomplished with timing and even voice coms.
This is the best advice I got for ya.
(p.s. use healing surge rather than signet in WvW zergs, and if you have the money for it, id recommend getting the superior sigil of renewal (aoe heal on wep swap))
-I’ll agree that warrior is very effective in melee combat vs someone unprepared for close-quarters.
- Warriors aren’t OP in any way at all. It’s just the dumb player way in over his head vs the warrior who just happens to get stunned and burst to death.
- The problem with most warrior players in pvp is the AoE cond burst they accidentally walk in on.
- berserker stance shouldn’t be used at start of combat. never use it just to gain adrenaline :/ it should be saved for more of a last resort, or for re-applied blinds/nasty condition situations.
- don’t use ms/gs… ms/hammer is much more effective with frenzy. But still has the same function as ms/gs
- Only way I can see warriors being a little OP is in teamfights.
- Warrior is a good class to play. But at this point in the game, it’s almost entirely predictable as to how your opponent will attempt to counter you. Being predictable isn’t bad though. Find out how to throw your opponent off-guard if you can.
- as a warrior, don’t expect to pull a Leroy Jenkins and come out #1 :P
- No class in the game is “unkillable” or “undefeatable.”
- 90% of a build relies solely on player skill/effectiveness.
- Warriors vs thieves…yeah stealth on another melee class is cheap at times, but don’t just complain cuz thieves are OP. They aren’t. Stealth and dodge/evade are their defensive/survival capability just like warriors have a ton of stability and endure pain/zerker stance vs conditions.
- When it comes to effectiveness with warrior, timing is crucial to survival/winning.
- There’s always a counter to every build, and not just with warriors. There’s always going to be someone that does something better than you. Accept the fact that no one can always be #1, although we’d all like to be there.
best advice is to just practice against nasty cond classes with friends until something clicks, then try it in spvp matches, adjust the build and see how you do in tpvp or WvW.
Spear.
Spear.
Whip.
Spear.I don’t really picture Warriors as using whips. I’d think that’d be cooler as a Thief/Mes/Ele sort of weapon.
As for Land Spear (I’d call it Polearm to avoid confusion) I’d like to see that as well, but got mental block trying to keep it distinct from the UW spear.
Ball & Chain?
Warrior and flail.
I’m sort of impressed by legendary weapon users, however a vast majority of people go for Twilight, Sunrise, Kudzu/Dreamer. Though there are some people with Predator, Juggernaut, Bifrost…those other ones. it takes a long time if you truly work for it, but it’s a pain. Imo, I don’t see the reason to go for a legendary besides the some-what neat particle effects… Maybe if they did more damage or had steady damage on them, then it might make them worth it.
warhorn warhorn and shield shield. maybe a great axe or a long pike
Whats next, focus+focus dancing queen warrior ?
Dual staff
howz about warrior dual wielding 2 staff guardians dual wielding 2 minionmasters dualwielding 2 d/d eles all while flying around on a dragon
nah, thats not strong enough for 100b. It’s gotta hit for 300% more damage in a 300radius and applies 25bleed,25vulnerability,25torment and 5sec stun :P
Mate, save your laurels as best you can!
Try to spend an hour a day farming here. Its supprising how quickly the gold ads up and soon your money worries will be over.
Thanks samski. though i have run through areas like in Frostgorge before. I’ve tried farming the icebrood colossuses and that didnt do much :P Next I aimed for the sons of svanir/icebrood norns. That gave me some okay loot. But i never really paid attention to the grawl there
maybe. MAYBE replace rifle with a crossbow.
I can see warrior eventually wielding flails.
and maybe having 2 types of shields: combat shields (which would be smaller, more offensive) and tower shields (bigger, more defensive of course)
Id like to see spear being able to be used on land.
What is the best strategy you’ve ever followed or came up with?
I know that. But there’s just no way im gonna spend 5gold and a few guild commendations for ascendeds. I ran out of badges of honor cuz i spent the 8 stacks i got from the last 5 achievement chests on better gear for 1 of my chars. But Laurels seem a bit quicker to get ascendeds. I just need to complete more/bigger achievements toward my next reward chest in hopes of getting BOH.
Ever since ascended rings and amulets have been added to the Laurel vendor, it’d been a whole lot easier to obtain ascended items rather than having to take the time to run thru Fotm over and over again. The only problem I have is money obsession :o Ive had 10-15 laurels like 4 times in a row that this has corrupted my patience. Im just so determined to get one ascended, just so i can say “yo…i got me an ascended.” But this is exactly what happens:
-checks personal laurel amount (18)
-looks at ascended amulets at laurel vendor
-checks personal gold amount and panicks
- constantly wastes laurels on t6 mat bags and feels even worse even after making 5-12 gold from selling the mats…
yeah… XD
Tell me what you’ve used portals for, besides in JP’s, or stomps.
hand to hand combat would kinda be like the boxing gloves… :o
I kinda like anet’s 2week release…but id much rather prefer slightly bigger content that’s been polished up a bit and had some things here and there fixed beforehand. The 2week thing, imo, feels rushed. Although theres some good content,add-ons, and items along with it.
I know that i’m not the only one that’s just DYING to be able to go into the Crystal Desert, Blazeridge Mountains, Far Shiverpeaks, Blood Legion Homelands, Fire Islands/Ring of Fire, Maguuma Wastes, Woodland Cascades, Isles of Janthir, the other half of Orr waiting to be explored…ya know :P
It’ll be quite a while before then…
Im pretty sure that the maximum % speed boost you can have is 38% if you use superior runes of speed.
If there wasn’t a cap on movement speed, then im sure the necro would be the fastest class…Necro has quickening thirst traited(assuming mainhand is dagger) and signet of the locust. So far, thats 40% faster movement speed. Pop swiftness and that makes him run 73% faster. Then he goes into deathshroud with Speed of Shadows traited. If all this did stack up, you’d have a necromancer sprinting around 98% faster in deathshroud like a maniac XD
Would increasing the movement speed cap be too much?
He’s Adorable! <3
Some things we buy on TP with gems are definitely worth it. Others, not so much.
I bought the marriners horn before its update, and after the update, i dont want it anymore yeah, it sounds kind of dumb that I don’t want something because its not as fun, but I just want mah muneys back now. Should we be able to return certain items from the gem store and get a refund?
You should be able to change the name of your guild, just like changing the name of your character…yeah? What if you came up with a better guild name and it’s too late? or are you already able to do this? just wondering
Longbow #1 is great, but it’s pretty slow and can be dodged/avoided even at a close range. Id like for the projectile movement to be increased. Or was it already increased? idk… any1 else agree?
Combustive Shot: only thing that concerns me with this skill is its animation. At full adrenaline when its fired, the ring of the entire field is like an 800 radius. But the description says 240. Is that only for where the damage ticks? Or does the damage tick everywhere inside the ring?
Axe #5: not too many people use this skill though. Ever since release of gw2, i’ve never noticed a displayed radius for the attack. Can I assume that it’s only 130?
thoughts? suggestions?
good intentions here
Make warrior god of teh kombatz: check.
Give warrior protection: check.
Keep conditions off: check.
Adamantium Arrow= God’s Holy Divine epic noob-pwning Arrow of Smiting and ultra win: Check.
Steal invulnerability: mhmm
Gain stacks of defiant whenever you have 2 or more conditions: naaaaaaaaaaah
Fly in on combat riding a dragon, leap from dragon with Death from Above trait: Nuclear Explosion with a 10,000 radius.
You’ve just melted the game due to extremely high levels of inhuman awesomeness! Congratulations, you just won guild wars 2. Here’s all the legendaries, and you’ve also been instantly leveled up to rank 80 in pvp. You are now a Dragon! Go gloat and boast to all your friends about this incredible feat you’ve accomplished!
jk. but I really do like how you want some of the weapon skills to be a bit more useful.
hmm…protective burst. Guardian + Warrior? yes plox :o dolyak signet + signet of judgement and massive protection? thats not op at all
Have you ever looked at the hammer’s 3rd chain attack? it has a HUGE radius and it looks like it could be at least 600 units where it throws up a little dust ring :o and theres a little “blast” animation as soon as the hammer strikes the ground…maybe it should be made into a blast finisher. but that could be a little op…
Id like if shockwave #3 did a 1 sec knockdown or knockback along with cripple…
mace/shield and hammer
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQNApeSjcO1wFPuQMRCA0jvyirTBlUFsLpYsyA-ToAg0CvIqRVjrGTNyas1MQYJC here ya go this build will require some skill, and GOOD timing. Timing is the key of this build, because u DO NOT want to waste your stuns too early, ESPECIALLY the f1! or mess up the weapon rotation.
some tips: if a target pops stability, stray if you can, or just whack em a few times with mace or try to wait it out.
Use pommel bash or shield bash to see if they have another stunbreaker or something.
And Id recommend popping your signet of rage around 75% hp.
Step #1: if you notice you’re below 50% hp, pop endure pain.
Step #2: Land your beautiful Skull Crack.
Step #3: Pop frenzy RIGHT AFTER skull crack and swap to hammer.
Step #4: Auto1=auto-win. auto-win auto-win auto-win XD (work out timing vs eles and mesmers. practice with some friends first, thieves are trickier)
IF endure pain were to be reworked, here’s what it might look like imo: Endure Pain in gw1 lasted from 7-18 seconds and gave u an extra 90-300 hp for the duration, depending on how many points you put into the strength attribute…obviously that’s not quite the case now.
However, it might be nice if the duration of EP was increased, gave you an hp boost and reduced incoming damage by 50% or so…
tbh, i dont think stick and move should even be there. It should just be replaced with something else. Although, I like your idea of the damage reduction.
That’s the whole point of the map lol. You gotta be careful when using a dodge or evade skill around a panel so you don’t roll toward it right after it breaks and fall, making you look like a noob among many who’ve done it before XD I know i’ve done it plenty of times. I think points A and C have some panels around them that you can try to use to your advantage against other players. It’s hilarious stunning someone or immobilizing them and just watching them fall as the panel below their feet cracks and breaks XD
isn’t that kind of what anet was going for with Skyhammer? To not make it so everyone is on the same ground level running back and forth attacking each other? There’s no problem with skyhammer at all. I’ll admit it is a kittenallenging to try to stay on a target with all the air lifts hopping from floor to floor though. But that’s what makes it interesting. AND its a brilliant map for CC trolls.
Back in the first couple months of gw2’s release, larger team tournaments awarded players rank points, glory, and I think gems. Now, I find it hard and a little annoying that the base reward for a tpvp match is 200 rank points, rather than somewhere around 700 points. Ranking up after you’ve hit rank 30 takes a while. And I don’t know why every 9th lvl requires you to earn a hugely increased amount of points to your next rank.
It just takes so much time to level up. Shouldn’t there be a rank-point booster? Maybe increase the rank points you earn by like 15% at least?
Maybe tournament rewards will be changed sooner or later so it puts less stress on players trying to rank up.
I know some/alot of people in custom spvp matches have just farmed rank points off each other however they choose, and it’s convenient when there’s a full match and everyone cooperates with one another and doesn’t sabotage the whole thing. I ranked up in no more than about 10 minutes from r37-38. It was great, but not a whole lot of people are committed to doing that I guess.
Also, it’d be cool if there were some more weapon skins added in pvp. Sure there’s a lot, but it looks like a lot of the same stuff thats been there since release. Is there a word out for Legendary skins in pvp? There’s a lot of great exotic skins that could be added to pvp such as: the mjolnir hammer, the purply-looking mist weapons, Volcanus, maybe the cooler-looking guild weapons…etc Will there also be someway that I can constructively use my 250 arcane dusts, orbs, and slivers, rather than trying to make a weapon/armor I don’t already have yet, or making dyes in the forge and hoping to get some decent dough from it?
A few days ago, I was thinking of ways to maybe spice up combat in WvWvW. What if players were able to be upgraded to be a Veteran, Elite, or Champion, including the copper, silver, or gold ring around their icon? They’d have just as much health, and armor as them, and maybe have some of the Defiant perk…idk it seems a little overkill, BUT not everyone would be able to gain access to it. If they could, then you’d pretty much have brutal zergs made up of champions completely wrecking citadels in an instant.
So, I was thinking that Commanders would be the only ones to promote other players to this upgraded status, but not themselves. Other commanders could also buff other commanders too. One way to achieve these ranks might be where players from a world donate their badges of honor toward whichever rank they choose. More badges would be required for the higher ranks of course. And I was thinking that this upgrade might be an exotic consumable for Veteran and Elite status, and Champion status would be something like an ascended consumable.
Also i thought that there could be an “Ascension Forge” in each of the homeworlds’ fortresses. It wouldn’t be a rank-required recipe. It’ll be like any other recipe at the Mystic Forge just combining stuff without having 100% in all crafts :P Although, it’ll be more tedious gathering supplies and materials for the higher ranks. And I guess you could earn different effects for the Elite and Champion status for more supplies.
I think this would be a good idea to include in WvW sometime. If not this, then maybe you could “recruit” allied NPC’s and train them to become Elites or Champions and they’d be able to follow Commanders where ever they direct them.
Along with this recruitment/training idea, (which would be kind of neat to have the npc’s that just sit in the citadels 24/7 actually do something) Every time a server completes a dynamic event for a mercenary camp, they help out your server. But if you did another event for them, it would give them “inspiration,” increasing their health, armor and damage dealt to players. And whoever completes the 2nd event, would be able to instruct the npc’s to take on some sort of new offense, or defensive strategy that would better aid your server. There should be an update that would allow players to make more use of the mercenary camps like this.
One more suggestion I had about WvW…This idea, without a doubt, would be overkill. But, it’s worth a shot: Include World Bosses into WvW battles! Every player would make Offerings to which ever boss they wanted to come in and help each server. And here’s what I was thinking of how to summon the bosses: which ever server donated the most Offerings, helped out mercenary camps the most, and completed a random task where players had to gather certain artifacts that would convince it to fight for them. Once summoned, 3 options would show: “Annihilate” “Defend” or “wait.” Players can vote on 1 of the 3 options, just like in dungeons when choosing a path.
Annihilate-command the dragon to fly around a selected area and attack all players. (including allies)
Defend (self-explanatory…choose a location where you want it to be heavily defended, using less offensive abilities)
Wait-don’t take action yet. waits for a command.
This would take a lot of time and work. I really don’t know if it’s something that EVERYONE would want, but its just one of many suggestions. Comments? Ideas? Suggestions to this? Criticisms? please post anything.
I was just wondering about a crit-based life steal necromancer rather than the dozens upon dozens of MM or conditionmancers out there. Would life steal skills/sigils stack with each other?
Say you ran 4 superior vampirism runes/2 precision runes, and you had dagger/any offhand and axe/different offhand. You put Superior sigil of intelligence on the axe and Superior sigil of leeching on the dagger. Then most of your utilities here dont really matter except for Summon Blood fiend. Also, you might have omnomberry ghost for more lifesteal on critical hits.
What im wondering, is if you used Taste Of Death in combat and gained the lifesteal from Vampirism’s #4 effect, switched to axe, gaining the 100% crit chance then swapped back to Dagger for the Leeching sigil’s effect and used Life Siphon. Would all those effects stack up? or do certain sigils not work like that. Because the way I see it, you’d siphon health from dagger#2 (along with extra lifesteal from the sigil,) steal life from the food’s effect, and you’d gain health from your next attack after using a heal skill( taste of death/just summoning blood fiend.) That’s 4 sources that increase the total amount of life you stole (assuming that it all DOES infact, stack up) which might make the lifesteal at least twice as effective, if not, more. I didn’t even include trait bonuses either. this is just from armor and sigils. Anyone have any input on this????
I think this is mainly a pve/wvw build XD run full dolyak runes on cleric armor and have inspiring banners traited and use only Compassionate banner. Other utilities-healing signet, balanced stance and maybe endure pain/berserker stance. And you gotta have a good supply of Mango Pie for extra hp regen. (also if you happen to be insanely rich, and feel kind of lucky, buy some black lion keys and open up some of those 100 chests that you wish you found more keys for and hope that you get some Rejuvenation boosters) XD This isn’t a serious build. It just has some incredible self-reliant hp regen and a huge boost of regen coming from the banners’ regen source XD and yes, it does lack damage. But warriors cant do it all! haha…or maybe they can…
Looks like some people want the hammer to be faster and not just have to use frenzy. Hammer is the most destructive weapon out there for warrior with some good timing. I used a standard cc build…mace/shield-hammer, but the traits are what you need: Merciless Hammer, Desperate Power and Empowered. (full lyssa rune set) it can be a little risky, but it just about kills anything in one burst. Wait until the halfway point, pop your elite (might want to stick with SOR.) Throw skullcrack on your opponent, pop frenzy, swap to hammer, and just drive your opponent’s head into the ground. XD It’s great in pve and pvp as well. BUT it does get a little predictable if you happen to fight the same people.
Wow, thats such a nasty and harsh confusion CC build XD. its just beautiful with those new runes. Idk how you plan to use it effectively, but with a few tests, it’ll be crazy. If I were you, here’s what I might do: hit my opponent a few times, and get at least 8 confusion stacks on them, and dont use skull crack right away, use pommel bash/ shield bash, and maybe kick for 12 confusion. Then swap to sword, slash them a couple times and lay down your f1 on them and while they’re immobilized and bleeding, throw torment on them with #4 and just kick back and watch them do the rest XD ( I would go mace/shield sword/sword)
Would it be a little OP if Dogged March was changed so that every time you were crippled, immobilized, or chilled, you would gain 3 seconds of regeneration each time you were affected by these conditions? It wouldn’t constantly stack duration, but after each time it activated, there would be an internal 5 second cooldown before the next one started back up and you wouldn’t regain regen for the same condition over and over.
So, it might look something like “gain 3 seconds of regeneration every time you are crippled, chilled, or immobilized. You cannot regain regeneration for a reapplied condition” it would be a rotational regen I guess…
This is just a thought I had about the trait. If you have any suggestions, comments or criticisms, feel free to post
I was in a match with GS while using the Mobile Strikes trait. After i had used Rush, I was immobilized halfway through it! and i thought that maybe it was a glitch or something, but it happened again when i used Bulls Rush :P I think mobile strikes only works when you use a movement skill after you’ve been immobilized, not during. Any thoughts on this/questions?
@ mayan
If you have 30 points in discipline and say you’re getting rooted…you obviously aren’t running mobile strikes :P i use 20/0/20/0/30 with warrior runes for a 4sec weapon swap I use axe/shield and hammer or mace/sword for extra blocks. Axe damage is still the same…if u havent read the notes, the damage at the end of the skill chain makes up for overall axe DPS. And if you say offhand sword is useless, well lets just look at it. without any points into condition damage, offhand sword #4 does about 2.5k bleed damage with 4 stacks and #5 is a great block vs projectiles and another 4 stacks of bleed vs melee. and then there’s Kick. 300 range is really far for a kick. if you wanted to you can get physical training trait and have the CD be 16 sec…use distracting strikes with Kick and try to say its bad. 4 stacks of confusion adds up fast and it messes people up who arent ready for it. And i also agree the heals could be slightly better. Healing surge, mending and maybe healing signet were supposed to get a CD reduction of like 5 secs…but just dont stand in spot and try to tank it like a guardian because you cant. warriors have great utilities.
I like what Daecollo said, about blind rage, but Quickness is a bit much… I was dueling with a thief who would just love to pull me into his small smoke ring so he could rip off my stability, stun me and use his whirling attack :P it sucks. but in pvp, you gotta get used to landing one minor attack just to get blind off, then you can burst with cleansing ire (especially with hammer.) I guess it all comes down to timing and skill with warrior. You cant rush into a duel or spvp/tpvp without stability at all. warriors MUST have 1 at all times. For blinds, idk. Use Lyssa runes? just keep working with builds. you cant just assume you’re gonna rush head-on in a fight and expect to be invincible, as much as you’d like. :P
I’m getting tired of making builds that some-what have condition control while trying to maintain dmg/cc. It’s all just too much for the state of warriors atm I’m just gonna say screw it and stick with what I know best: brute force damage and stability
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fIAQNAneTjgOxwJPyOMxBEkCNMLMKOiiQ9gOsjNE-ToAA1CvIQShkDJDSSksIN4YJC this is one build im tempted to try using Destruction Of the Empowered… not necessarily as a burst build, but for Might upkeep and chop chop chop :P
whoops, sry bout that link there in the last post. :P http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fQAQNBIhZakRLcvaTdjeTRMpgbeDqw7jegslpMqCwD-TsAg0CqIcS5lzLjTSvseNwYJyEDA here :P
http://gw2skills.net/editor/?fQAQNBIhZakRLcPdzajeTRMpgbeDqw7jegslpMqCwD-TsAg0CqIcS5lzLjTSvseNwYVyUEA Try this build out MGjam. It’s focused around lifesteal/crit/damage and good CC for necro It’s a more offensive-based build. But if you work with it a bit, you might like it. U can change some things around if you like, but it’s mainly built for trying to stay alive as much as possible with lots of lifesteal and stacking might while in DS along with Blood Is Power
Necromancers needing to rely on that “life-and-death” aspect in combat to make it feel more like it did in gw1. Players miss that.
Switch out that “Vampric” minor trait to “Insidious Parasite.” so that we’d steal 30-45 hp from a target everytime it attacks instead of stealing that much when WE hit with an attack.
Increase Life Siphon amount, MAYBE rework the minions’ appearances? just a thought :P
Signet of Spite – active effect could be a bit more devastating. 1 stack of each condition except burning, immob, confusion and fear doesn’t do necros a whole lot. :P
Consume Conditions should remove the conditions on you and heal for each one removed.
Unholy Feast – take out retaliation and replace it with stealing life for each foe around you.
Deathly Swarm could do a bit more base damage and I think Locust Swarm could include weakness on every hit, not just cripple.
Signet of Undeath would be nice if it regenerated more Life Force every 3 secs.
If you enter DS at 100% Life Force, life blast should be made unblockable and the rest of the DS skills slightly more potent if activated at 100% lifeforce.
comments? suggestions? im just throwing this stuff out there
btw, I just noticed this:
Poison – maybe its just normal, but a lot of different skills that include poison damage deal different amounts of poison damage. Compare Signet of Spite, Corrosive Poison Cloud, Putrid Curse, Chilblains…
I had a GREAT idea for warrior. Make the entire adrenaline system more functional. Make it function like the thieves initiative. In gw1, you had to build up adrenaline before using a skill. And some skills would heal you/grant regen, make your attacks deal extra damage, reduce incoming based on how much adrenaline you had, etc. Id like to see the warrior aspect of Initiative…
One skill that I loved in gw1 was “I Will Survive” – for 10 secs, you’d gain alot of health regen based on the number of conditions that were eating you alive. I’d love to see this implemented into gw2. wouldnt you? Warriors need to deal with conditions better. It seems that we die after 4 conditions :P (a little exaggeration, but you get the point)
Any thoughts?
