Yes, I have reported this via the exploits email address. But I think it’s important to note that people are very frustrated when this occurs and the feeling is that when the violators are reported using the in-game mechanism, for example for botting, nothing ever happens. Doesn’t matter how many people report it. Yes, I understand that ANET doesn’t care if 200 people report someone, but don’t they have an obligation to investigate it? If given the violator’s account name and description of the violation and the timeline that it was witnessed, you would think that it would be enough.

It seems that either an anet employee has to see it himself while in-game (which prolly won’t happen b/c the anet tag sticks out like a sore thumb), or there’s got to be irrefutable video proof (and even then, there’s no fast guarantee). Anything short of that, there’s no ban. The feeling is that it just doesn’t seem like it’s a priority for ANET to investigate these reports.

The first time I encountered this FA hacker was when I was on a catapult hitting Garri, when all of a sudden, I was repeatedly getting knocked around by this falling uplvl warrior, pushing me all the way to the cliff. This hacker continued to do this to other players for many hours in plain sight in front of scores of players, even after multiple people have reported him on both servers. It totally ruins the game experience when this sort of thing is allowed to continue.

Warriors don’t need a nerf,other warr builds need to become more viable for shoutbow to dissapear,nerfing one build doesn’t fix it.

When trying out different double melee builds builds i always come to the same conclusion..Shoutbow/heavy condi pressure( Especially this,apply and you can run around like headless chicken ),everything including bow is optimal,Hambow is still viable but not optimal anymore.Anything not including bow is neither optimal and in most cases not even viable since there are to many hard counters going on.

Especially when you look at mace builds,you have to pay close attention to the range,you have to deal with dodges/stabi/ports/stealth/blinds/blocks/invulns and closing the gap,in some cases it’’s doable but in most it’s not,especially if you meet players who know what they’re doing and can easily outkite you or read your skills.Wheras with bow you can be sure to have great condi pressure and should have no issue with people trying to kite you.Bow is our only optimal range weapon where rifle is heavily lacking in multiple ways.Playing anything with bow feels easymode compared to running double melee.

I first created a warr to be able to be the frontliner wielding double melee weaps,at this point i’m only crippling myself by doing so,even though i have the most fun using these builds but being forced to run a certain setup is something thats getting on my nerves.

I was never too fond of bow and heavily favor melee builds but i like to have the choise.Where warrs or any class for that matter are being pushed into a certain direction is where things are going wrong,it’s even noticable in wvw now where range is king and melee is pointless.Is there ever a change coming in any way to make melee builds more viable ?

The only thing i dont trust is MS giving something away for free.

That x100..been hoping for proper deathmatch maps forever,pvpvers wanna pvp..Conquest is old,holding points is a bore,and Sh is something i will never be interested in.

Solo is roaming is hard nowadays,depending on the time and class it may be possible ,but usually it’s gonna end up being 1vx or just so many you have to keep bailing.Zerg mentality,always take atleast 1 or 2 guys with you.

If i stop it’s because of anet unable to fix their laggy servers,and this entire range meta is the biggest load of boring bull ive witnessed so far.Yes all of you range classes are absolutely loving it,but take a look what happend to frontliners like warrior…have to stand around kiting like a kitten now,there’s no diversity,if you say there is..you’re foolingyourself.Throw lines of warding,and aoe the kitten out of everything or kite around for 10m…Its such a kittening bore.

I’d have to agree,the kiting in there is just stupid to say the least,you’re playing on a small kitten map for god sake,you’re not in wvw.Too much 3 – 5 and passive regen.That’s not a duel,that’s playing cat & mouse while being Really dependant on healsig and adren hp regen.

well eotm it was bound to happen eventually. in regular wvw we dealt with hackers and still deal with hackers for years. why do u think they removed orbs?

then we had teleport hackers porting straight ino towers and keeps and capping maps like that.

we got multiboxing, speed hacks and yes invis hack.

its hard to fix longterm and prevent hacking ,but at least ban the players.

We even had some idiot in our own zerg about a week ago,on EB..Also a necro ( funny ).The guy was using some port hack,whenever he got caught up behind the zerg,he insta ported to the front..at times he was jumping in at out your screen,on top of hills etc etc…It’s like they wanna get caught.

Ranger autoattack is even stronger than 100b and doesn’t need a lockdown skill to be used first.100b is weak in every aspect,even when you go full zerk and you’re able to land a full 100b on someone using skullcrack + paralyze sigil the damage is still meh.

Keep playing and try not to worry about these hackers,report them as much as possible and just enjoy the game.Keep in mind,hackers are in every game,sadly.

To make it a bit less frustrating,try using the targeting option Next enemy instead of Closest enemy.The Next enemy option will usually select players over anything else while the Closest enemy option just picks Anything it can find from pets to npcs to walls to whatever..

It’s sad but those sort of things are also happening on EU/NA.Anet can’t do much to stop these people besides taking away their accounts once being caught.The players that are hacking,are actually spending big money to use these things.To stop it completely you’l have to go to the source and stop these sites selling hacks,that’s something that’s not gonna happen anytime soon.You can only report these people and send the vids to anet for them to be booted of the game.

Practice before complaining,alot of things may seem completely unbalanced,untill you figure out how everything works and that most can be countered.Like you said with hamm your being thrown around and knocked back,look closely at the animations,go spectate some hotjoins and watch people play paying close attention to the animations and skill rotations.Hammer is one of the easiest ingame weaps to avoid/dodge,when it comes to thieves if you see them coming at you and starting off with stealth it means they’re gonna make a combo at you in 1/2 sec,be ready to dodge or pop an invulnerability.

I’m not even gonna explain anything besides,Get that kitten out of WvW for kittensake,After almost 3 years of this bullkitten going on where you fight 2 or 3 people alone,you’re actually able to down 2 guys,whereafter someone randomly levels up get’s up from downed state with full hp and knocks you back for 5 sec,and its game over…Please remove the kitten Level up knockback + gaining full hp from it,it has No place in a pvp structured environment.

Your cpu aint the issue ( It could use an OC though,theyre Made to OC.. )despite what people are making you believe here,they All got intels,most never used an AMD at all and all talk based on what they read online,and not from actual experience.I used to rock a fx 8120 at 4.6 ghz,Fps 100+ in most areas game nearly maxed out.Dont make yourself waste money when it isn’t necessary,something else is holding your fps back most likely,might also just be because you’re running it on stock.Besides you people should support AMD some more…if AMD ceases to exist or stop making cpu’s alltogether…Intel will kitten us from left to right and the prices will be insane

nop, still the same, i still move around with my warrior (GS main).
the only one who is really rooted in place is the ranger but that’s it.

The warrior greatsword skill #2, called Hundred Blades (or 100b in short), roots you in place. You cannot channel it while moving. If you start it and then move, the skill stops…

But you can still move. “root” is when you cannot move due to a skill you used. See ranger sword on auto, for example, or sylvari elite turret skill.

Are you for real… You cannot move when you use 100b,please.Simply made a comparison Damage wise,rapid fire vs 100b,rapid fire being free movement while Gs roots you in place..Now we have 4 comments from ppl not knowing what root in place means.

I think,rapid fire needs to root players in position,this way they cannot spamm their rapid fire on will but actually have to use their brains on when is the best time to use it..am i close enough to fully connect all hits ? , am i far enough for him not to close the gap ? etc etc..Atm its an Hur dur dur skill from 1500 range with no real counter besides reflect or getting out of range and theres no real risk to using it either.

they are so hard to catch if they wield GS and they are uncatchable if they have gs + sw/wh equipped.

its really unfair that warrior has so much mobility and guardian doesnt while warrior can tank with super high base hp/armor and can do crazy damage at the same time and they got the mobility as well… yet guardian has low base hp and crappy mobility.

Have you tried fighting one ? How did he fair ? Oh let me know…It was in WvW and he didn’t fight because he was built to run ? The build is purely made for speed,to outrun everything,it does exactly that.I bet you never even fought the guy at all,but are just annoyed by the fact that he didnt want to fight and you couldn’t catch him.

The system is bad,it makes their Own map design pointless…E.g The supphuts in SM on EB are all made to have trebs on them able to hit every tower its pointing at,these used to be spots only killable by mortars/treb/bali…With the new camera system people only have to set an ac next to the wall thats reaching the supphouse,its utterly ridiculous.Remember the previous ac range patch a long time ago ? This needs fixing aswell,make a set fov when you equip sieges so your own map design isnt borked anymore.

Ive also had the same thought for a long time now.Not that i have alt accounts,but when i compare the loot to other people i play with on a daily base with around the same MF,theyre getting ascended gear,trinkets ,exotics,rares..I always end up with greens/blues..worthless junk and the occasional exotic.Im not buying this RNG thing either.Ive always said my account is cursed.

People have been complaining about Gear Shield and IP long before Turrets were complained about. Slick Shoes has been complained about since the Stability change. This is nothing new at all son. Healing Turret isn’t problematic though. It’s in the same spot as Healing Signet and Consume Conditions where all the alternative heals just ain’t up to par.

Well, I have a feeling that we’ll see another nerfhammer on engi then, looking how effective it was for turret, I’m realy concerned.

1on1 practice vs different classes in an empty arena is what you need,preferably with another warr spectating you while you’re figting,so he can give advice.
