after this patch skills like endure pain, signet of stone and berserker stance are so broken. it gives too much advantage imo.
But let be honest… Is it SO hard to code? This is minor, and quite safe (won’t make character expode… but would be funny). I would like such change.
For some it may not be the problem, but for some it is (and it was even before Guild Wars). Friend of my during vanilla WoW Molten core raid had to use some potion that changed his body (he was playing Tauren). Some people even make fuss about how big are weapon models in FPSes).
Would it be so hard to code a “Open all” , “Use all” “Salvage all” button added to the inventory ? I’m no dev or programmer,but i doubt so seeing that most if not all mmo’s ranging from f2p to p2p usually have this basic feauture installed..we still don’t have it so don’t get your hopes on this one.
How will this be of effect towards vets that has been playing since day one but arn’t altoholics. The extra slot doesn’t do anything for me.I mean yeah,youve listend to feedback for once which is very nice and decided to do someting about it,but this doesn’t apply for me.Now ill still spend 50 bucks and have an extra slot i will never use.I know,you can’t please everyone,in this case im still not pleased and will still not be buying the expansion.
how about if for my elite I use Rampage and transform into a juggernaut to run or catch? that would give me a good mobility for WvW if anyone decides to run or if I need to run.
If I do meet someone who wants to fight, then wouldn’t the hammer mace shield combo be too overbearing for almost any class?
Rampage is always good to use it synergizes really well with a hamm or mace set up, though you dont wanna waste a 150sec elite just to bail,and it can still go wrong,thieves can still catch up and gs warrs can still catch up quite easily aswell.You’re gonna be chased untill rampage runs out and you will probably still drop nonetheless.
Ham/mace combo is incredibly strong from an 1on1 perspectiv since you can completely lock someone down,but in wvw you’re not about to find much 1on1,it’s gank or get ganked.You can always try it nonetheless but i’d advice to run gs/hamm in wvw and use rampage as a proper elite and not to bail out.

Don’t use this in WvW,you lack mobility to outrun or catch up anything..If someone decides he wants to run,chance is he will get away.If a zerg pops up out of nowhere,chance is you will die.Keep hamm/mace for pvp, and rather grab Gs/hamm or mace/shield – GS for WvW.You really Need the mobility.

A-Net is a company, pure and simple. They have to make money in order to maintain the game, bring you new content, fix bugs and generally keep us amused. Gem store items are a staple of that as well as Character slots, Transfers, and Bank slots.
They gave you 3 seasons of Living World FOR FREE (some bad, some good, some great) as well as a host of QOL things.
$50 is not unreasonable to pay for a game that will guarantee at least 50 hours of content, in a day when the average console game is $60 and gives you 8 hours at best.

this isnt true. Gear released after day 1 not tied to the cash shop: Asended gear, , truck load of back pieces, mutliple shoulder, gloves, boots and helmets. Glorious + Glorious hero armor set, Radiant Armor set, hellfire armor set, Hexed outfit, Carapace / Bio luminescent armor set, A lot of Champion weapon skins, amberite weapon set, Sunless weapon set, twilight assault weapon set, guild commendation weapon set, Ascended weapon skins, sab and winter weapon skins
to that there are also the Sovereign, aetherized weapons, dragon jade and sclerite weapon set. While they are now exclusively cash shop you could earn them in game through game play for a month or so.
So no Arenanet were never exclusively about the gem shop, they strike a balance. Not a perfect balance mind you but its definitely unfair to state they always only released new skins in the cash shop cause it is far from true.

Just cause people buy stuff from the cash shop it doesnt mean the content was not free. You paid for whatever you bought not the content, simply speaking people who chose never to spend a single cent still got the same content for free which in itself makes it free.
And no arenanet didnt force you to buy the game again together with Hot, Arenanet gave it to you for free, its you who are forcing yourself to see it that way.

This is a bad time to be talking about coverage. When the expansion hits, there should reasonably be a pretty big population spike, which is gonna throw all the population issues into a chaos. I suggest people either transfer right now if they’re now happy, or wait until HoT comes and observe what happens before jumping to conclusions.

He has a point though. Runes of resistance are underwhelming. Many rune sets are terrible and never used.
If Developers just buffed these terrible sets to an okay playable state, i think it would add a ton of diversity to the game. This has been on my wish list for so long. Just take one hour and go through the runes and make appropriate changes, THX!.

Im gonna run with Mace/Shield – Sword/Sword .
Block on mace 2 with a 10 sec icd ,
3 sec Block on shield with a 30 sec icd
2¼ Block on sword offhand with 15 sec icd
Just for these runes i will run 5 signets Meaning i can have 1 extra block on every signet use,which will be 5 extra blocks ( without the icd it currently has )..Not counting my weap blocks either.Eventhough 5 signet builds are pretty much pointless,you must see there’s something wrong if you’d run something like this,since signets can be traited for lower icd aswell.

To clarify: $50 is the price of the expansion. We included the core game as a free bonus to make it easier for new players to get into it.
No we don’t…Guild wars 2 costs 20e in my country.Hot will be 44e.The way i see it is im being forced to lay down another 20e for a game i already own adding 24e for the expansion pack…Hot is worth 24e,this doesn’t feel right to me.
The price of gw2 atm is around 20e,The xp pack will cost 40 ? That’s including the core game,so what happens is,you’re paying again for the game you already bought and owned…The expansion pack is Worth 20 – 25e,but since it adds the core game you have to pay more ? Am i getting this right… ?
If so,why am i being forced to buy something i alredy own instead of releasing the xp seperate for a lower price? This smells of greed to me.

Turns out paying for something like an expansion to a game that was giving out free content before isn’t really hurting my wallet.
Honestly though if anything is getting on my nerves, its how close this situation was to when Burning Crusade was announced ‘price-wise’. Good news is that people will buy the expansion regardless despite their ‘almost entitled’ whining.
That “’free” content was made possible due to Gemstore purchases aswell,please stop this free,because we aint getting kitten for free.

On the plus side my ele went from OP to super extra OP… so I guess that’s a plus lol.
It’s not easymode enough for em,some guards actually have to roll their face over their keyboards twice or sometimes even three times,reducing this to one faceroll only makes sense.
Seriously go play condi class in wvw. You notice that condition dmg is totally useless and need some serious buff or aoe condi removal needs some serious nerf.
The only dev ive only see play a warrior was Nightmare on Chaithh’s channel,he only ever run shoutbow,ive never seen him run anything else,i bet if he did he would drop in a sec.Anet has no clue what theyre doing with warr,pushing us more to bow or shoutbow,doing nothing with rifle or any other spec just shows this.
Why such a random nonsensical change to make f1 burst skill function share a cooldown between 2 different weapon skills.
Was adrenaline not nerfed enough that now if we have 1 bar back within 8 seconds or use burst mastery to preserve adren that we cant even use it anyway?
meanwhile much more ’’OP’’ mechanics in game remain untouched or even receive buffs.

It’s the most ridiculous kitten ever,i used to be able to combo 2 bursts with burst mastery…now i can’t,it used to be one of the reasons i always ran burst masery in the first place.But now Ill just run bow and pew pew pew and blast firefields every now and then like every dipkitten no brainer out there without trying to combo anything.
Im surprised how you people don’t see the issue the Op is mentioning. Play a little pvp,complete some maps and you get stones ? How is this enough if the person in question likes to change gear several times a day for whatever reason it may be ? The current system is Heavily limiting these people from doing this,lots of people have world map completion aswell so there arn’t any stones to get from that,besides the few you get from pvp arn’t even worth mentioning.
Simply put,asking money for Switching gear,is wrong no matter how you put it.Then Selling them by 5 instead of 6 is just pure greed.
Nothing is perfect (like I don’t understand why Slick Shoes even get a buff reducing cool down) but it’s a huge steps in the right direction.
Some of us here appreciate you hard work greatly. Sure there will be people complaining about OP stuffs when the patch land. Just keep tweaking it, balance patch every month, and this game will be the best!
No idea why this skill got buffed…But its a huge step in the right direction..because buffing something that doesn’t need buffing is Good ! lol
The warrior meta really is changing at quite an alarming rate with this recent buff. I think they need to slow down and listen to feedback before they proceed with any further changes.

I kinda agree with your point,many people have loads of transmute stones but they have been playing for a long time aswell,so switching gear doesn’t really matter for them.But when you’re stuck on 10 – 20 stones,and you’re the type that likes to change gear Alot, ( RP purpose or whatever the cause is ) Then you may have a problem.I think charging money to change the look of gear is just to milk money from people willing to spend it on the stones,this certainly show how they sell the stones by 5 instead of 6…..it’s certainly not making things easier as ive also seen when making another char.And the current price of transmute stones is just too expensive,
No bad word about condi’s unlimited stacking,but this…this hurts you,just lol.
In a pvp environment, it’s very rare to even hit the 25 bleed stack cap, so I don’t see the change affecting pvp that much, maybe burning and poison stacking intensity with poison fields from thief shortbow and engi grenades.
I can easily stack 25 bleeds on condi warr,i dont even wanna see what 3 – 4 people are able to do when they all run condi spec,and they will..all run condi spec when this patch hits.
And the Shoutbow Warrior shrugs it all off together.
No bad word about condi’s unlimited stacking,but this…this hurts you,just lol.
