Besides,take a look at the combat information section when you died in a spvp match,look what did the most dmg to you,9 out of ten times it’s condi’s ( Bleeding did 25k dmg..torment did 18k dmg..staggering blow did 3k dmg… you get my point ),with the melee skills at the bottom of the list.

If i were you i would save up 20bucks and get the AMD FX-8120 Black Edition instead.I owned the 965BE and the 8120,but the 8120 is by far faster and way easier to overclock,you can hit 4.5ghz easily on air ,has a much larger cache lvl aswell as it has 4 more cores.

To play WvW with 40+ fps in zergs you need something like this.

Devs,have you ever played a warrior vs an op necro,mesmer,thief,guard build ? I reckon you dont seeing the changes youre about to make.Anyhow,i advice you to play your own game every now and then to get a feeling of what youre about to do and why youre about to do it….because imo the changes being made to the warrior class are being made by someone that has no clue on what hes doing and why hes doing it.

Millers,please learn to fight outside of a zergball.When you see 2 people roaming around and we are engaging a fight vs 8 people,there is not much glory to behold when all you people do is run away,get back into your towers when you get a few hits to wait for your cd skills to recharge,get out of combat mode to regain hp or get even more reinforcements so you get the courage to go at it again.It;s what was happening all evening last night,it’s pathetic beyond all words.But when theres a miller zerg of 60 people going around you do your best to go out of your way to chase down 2 guys.Do me a favor,hit up spvp and get some skill on your characters because you seriously lack it individually.

I was thinking about the new ascended armors being added and suddenly came to the realization that since launch, a year now, GW2 has seen literally zero new armors added within the actual game. As in not in the gem store.

You can try using the TcpAckFrequency=1 reg tweak,it “might” help.But if you have a topnotch connection it won’t make a huge diff.But it can still stabilize your connection.And i do know from when i played Aion it got my ping from around 200 to 50+ ms.

5. Double-click on the new registry key and change the value from 0 to 1 .

What we just done is to disable the delayed ACK. ACK (short for ACKNOWLEDGE) is a confirmation that you have received a network package. While you are playing anything online, you are constantly sending and receiving network packets and each of those packets has to be confirmed from your local machine. To prevent a network flood okitten messages (sending out a confirmation for EVERY package) Windows has a smart trick! Windows waits some time (up to 200ms) before it sends out the next ACK, so that it can send out multiple ACK’s in one go.

The solution?
TcpAckFrequency = 1 will disable delayed ACK. Default is 2, so it will wait for 2 packages until sending out ACK.

Have a look at Far Shiverpeak,were a great community and strong in primetime and only getting stronger again after some recent setbacks mainly due to that matchup system introduced a while back,but that is about to change soon.We are in Desperate need of nightcoverage since we currently lack the Oceanic people for that and the current EU people arn’t able or willing to still be making the long night shifts that they did before.

It’s really great to see you’re all working so hard to get our server back on track again ..i wish i could do the same at times, but time is an issue for me lately.Real life issues been plaguing me alot aswel.I will atleast do my best to help out the new commanders as much as i can providing them with any help needed whenever i log in,and will also slowly start commanding myself again soon,although the hours i used to make isn’t something i’m still able to be doing.

FSP is in desperate need of nightcoverage,seeing the work destroyed people have made during the afternoon and the evening can be quite demotivating at times when you log in the day after.We really have an awesome community nonetheless and seeing guilds start working together more and more often is a good thing to be seeing, and things will only improve from where we are standing now.

From what I’ve seen, and experienced, AG have mostly been going after AM. We’ve been scrapping across EB, our border, and AM’s border. So I don’t see where the idea of double teaming is coming from…

All i want to say is ,this isn’t the slighest bit of truth.I have been commanding this afternoon in eb for FSP after a Long break.AM was holding our keep during the day,camping it with 20+ ppl constantly,camping spawn constantly.I/We were trying to recap our stuff,had some success,but then AG kept moving to our side aswell eventhough we barely had one tower AG kept insisting on leeching everything AM took,you guys even tried to cap our keep aswell. AG kept hitting our towers with their full zerg when AM was roaming around and re-capping everything we capped aswell.Ag didnt even bother going to AM side since you guys just leech the easy server,we didn’t have room to manouvre or even try about getting our keep back since fsp cannot handle 2 huge zergs that insist on staying on our side and are even able to split their zergs up aswell.

I dont mind the occasional double-teaming,ive done it before,sometimes you have too and sometime it’s the smartest thing to do.But what ive seen this afternoon,hitting a server so hard with 2 full zergs when they barely got a tower and their keep is being camped all day long is beyond pathetic,i lost all respect for AG..never had any respect for AM for that matter ( sorry but its the truth ).You were double hitting us hard,while it wasnt necessary and we barely had a tower,when we did had a tower either AM or AG re capped it right away.

Necros are quite easy tbh with a ranged weapon.Im guessing..no i know for sure that you are using double melee,switch it around and kite em….See how easy they really are,everytime when i switch to my bow and back of out of their range and start kiting them im seeing the nec gets frustrated,making mistakes and doesnt rlly know what hes trying to do anymore.Pick up that bow.

Again,The downed system is what making fights like these Harder then it should be Since finishing people off during a fight with others still alive can be a pain if you have no more stabili,your life is almost drained and youre still being hit while the downed player goes in stealth,mistform etc.

No the first suggestion shouldnt be changed into checking a larger area.It may check people who are not even gonna roam with you.Stacking those people up is necessary,if they arent being able to stack up if you ask for a suppcount,then you might aswell tag off right there and stop commanding.

Also have this issue,at times the sounds just cuts off,usually when theres probably to many sounds going on at the same time ? Dont know what causes this,but it Is rather annoying..Sometimes my footsteps or weapon sounds just stop and wont return untill i restart my client.

Also at times a huge delay between sounds..complete silence for a few seconds and then all sounds start blasting together like a kitten nuclear bomb. Wvw mostly..

ArenaNet. You guys have done well with this revamped encounter. Making the waypoint contested to prevent zerging, making it have more health, do more damage, have more mechanics and require more than just mindlessly shooting at his foot..

Dropping ascended weapons and materials, dropping a mini Tequatl, having its own achievement list! This is incredible. I hope the other dragon and meta events follow the same pattern shortly but I am genuinely impressed.

Please leave it challenging. Tweak if needed (extend the time alotted or something if anything at all) but PLEASE do not nerf it. It looks incredible and I can’t wait to give it a go!

So my best idea so far was spending 450 gems on 5 black lion keys to get black lion claim tickets or scraps. The BL weapon specialist has some weapon skins that look appealing to me. Mace needs some working,the perm stunlockdown is too much ( Coming from a warr ).Especially coupled with hammer you can stunlock someone into eternity without him using any skill at all,it’s a cheap build imo.Although mace hits can be hard to land,1on1 its just to strong to be able to lock someone That long ( Yes Stability Ends at one point.).
Also every random warrior is now practically rolling this build because they dont know any better then to copy/paste the current “OP” build,like so many other people do…And then mace gets nerfed into oblivion anyways.But yeah imho Mace does need some work.

What’s happening with FSP, 1-2 months ago you guys could pressure all 4 borderlands, now it barely looks like you can keep pressure on EB and another borderland, + maybe a small group on the second :S

Living Story and random match-up is what happened. The combination of those 2 has pretty much made every pug we have only log onto EB and even there if someone cool is leading.

No hard decision for our PUGs since our “WvW-guilds” barley cooperate with them lately cause of all this “omg we are more than 10 peeps at one location, we are blobing. spread out! spread out!”-kitten . They rather running on their own without integrating the PUGs, who running uncoordinate over the battlefield as a easy target. So no wonder that our numbers decrease more and more.
You can flame the german servers for “blobing” but they at least integrating everyone to the group and playing together. Something i cant say about FSP.

And you dont think that the fact that FSP PUGS are unable to listen most of the time,are unable to stack,unable to follow and stick on the commander without chasing one guy with half the zerg,unable to follow the most simplest of orders,unable to scout,Hanging on sentry’s when there’s rush to defend a tower…losing that tower in the process because 75% wants Sentry WXP…Using a Mortar ? Whats that…. ? Maybe,just maybe..these things are connected to each other and the fact that commanders are dropping like flies because of this.But no…Lets blame the Guilds,thats much easier..Let me tell you,EB is in kitten because youre losing commanders because the PUGS behave like this,its not because of the guilds at all.You guys dont even realize whats happening and why its happening do you.

What they need to do is give a kitten HEADS UP…before people start to think its their own pc and going through dozens of hoops to figure out if its on their end or not…Its a Small thing to do anet,yet you let people in the dark and only use kitten twitter to let us know that You know there is a lag issue.Beyond that… absolutely nothing…wich is imo,pretty kitten awefull.

when people get lag issues,and start to disconnect on a regular base they check the forum if anything is up ( But since you people dont like using this forum to let your customers know you have a lag issue,people will think its on their end since they see no reports from anet on any lag issues ) so they start looking at their drivers,reinstalling them,messing with settings,installing/reinstalling stuff,rebooting routers, etc etc etc.Honestly is it too much to ask to use this forum and let your Customers know you have such a problem wich saves alot of people alot of time ?

Just open up Task Manager when gaming, click the Performance Tab > Resource Monitor , check under the TCP Connectionss tab and look to the right of GW2.exe under Latency to see your current ms.

Try a -Repair on your client.

Mace is fun to use..when it works,but most of the time it just doesnt…Miss/evade/block/blind/invulnerable/teleport/stealth..This happens way more then an actual stun hit from mace,not saying it never lands..but you will be so busy focusing on that stun hit that you will mess up the rest of the fight if they will fail probably.Having way more fun with other builds then this one atm.

You might have a case if it was a first person game. You might still have a case if the tool in question is the same one that people were using as a zoom tool to see trough walls. If all it did was increase the FoV then there’s no advantage with that.

Can’t have a case here, it is already possible to change FOV (wider screen/ajust resolution).
Based on what the op is saying, since that’s where the argument came from, it is only a FOV tool.
So, no logical reason to be this fire up against someone using 3rd tool to change his FOV.

Are you people absolutely dense or what ? ARROWCARTS and WVWV + a Fov Hack tool is giving anyone using that kind of tool a HUGE advntage over other people,besides this there are many more situations where a wider Fov will grant you a big advantage over other people,but i Doubt it will be read anyway because you people seem to have a problem with that.

No, something is wrong with you. You’re fighting against a slider being put into the game that everyone could use (and is not a hack) and direct people to doctors, that can only advise you so much about the lighting, dietary choices, but can’t fix the way your brain comprehends 3D objects, instead of allowing them to have a simple fix that would help everybody.

Yeah your cpu is def the case,amd’s tend to shut down when they reach 65c+,safety measure.Your gpu on the other hand is also pretty kitten hot…i think you have some airflow problem inside your case.

Also,don’t simply “redo thermal compound”….ONLY do it if you know How to do it,and ifyoure not sure how to do it properly,then let someone else do it.

Just a fyi,ive seen to many people giving it a go only to mess up their cpu,bending pins,dropping the cpu,applying the paste completely wrong,putting on way to much paste or putting to much pressure on the cpu etc…

There’s nothing wrong with your system…its just the absurd spell effects when multiple people use skill s at the same time,its just way way way to much.Especially as playing melee you can barely see your own character or what it is hes doing in all that chaotic mess.Yes anet its a chaotic mess to be looking at,tone down those spell effects allready or give us that kitten slider…

Are you kidding me ? What you have been using is a bannable offense,you by using a Fov hack gain advantage over other players who are not being able to zoom out and see as far as you can,by using that hack you can also use ac’s to shoot at places no other person can without that tool.

If you play in windowed mode you can get a FoV you like, but won’t take up full screen^^ Should make the game playable for you until you find something to replace~

What in the world is wrong with you…? I just ….First of all,im not being “mean” if you think i am then please,grow some balls. Im just sick of seeing hackers in the only aspect of this game i still like to be doing,if hackers start to ruin that aspect aswell,i might aswell not play at all anymore.There are LOADS of people using these hacks in wvw and its killing wvw for what it is on a regular base.I dont care what kind of lame excuse people bring up to use some kitten fov tool to have an advantage over other people.And in any case,he should go see a kitten doctor instead of complaining about his HACK not working again since the latest patch.Everything this guy said screams “I am an idiot please ban me”,but that will probably sound mean to you aswell.

As mentioned, that was just a Vertical FoV increase not a horizontal one.

I was suffering from some slight nausea/headaches when playing before the old fov patch, but it was just a minor case for me. I’m all in favor of getting a horizontal slider to help people still affected.

For stating the obvious ? Anet stated that using any tool that gives an advantage over other players is a bannable offense.Since you never played wvw by the looks of it and have absolutely no clue that this is giving people a Huge advantage over other people with the normal fov and basically screwing up wvw for what it is.There are Loads of people using this type of stuff,and it is considerd to be a Hack.

By all means,send anet an mail with the link to the program you used ( Wich is only available on Hacking/exploits sites with the warning that you might end up getting banned ) ,and see if anet gives you the “ok” to keep on using this type of stuff.

I guess my 3 monitor eyefinity display which GW 2 supports and automatically increases the FoV is a bannable offense.
