I think the idea of solo content in a massively multiplayer online game is ridiculous. I am 100% in favor of group content, or even forced grouping to progress as it builds upon the community that is necessary for an MMO. Solo content creates an every man for himself attitude that does not belong in a game like this.

You could have just used the normal coffins…or buy them on the broker…You dont have to spend gems or real gold to get a ticket.I got 4 tickets,all from normal coffins.Don’t blame anet because You bought rich coffins..

Even if the damage is minimal,the point is that we’re gonna be punished for moving now…While warriors being in need of more sustain,rely heavily on mobility..and now our leg specialist is being cut down ( Why actually…is 1 sec immobilize Really that Op to be having for a warrior..? ) ,ontop of it we’re being punished for walking aswell..Prob,some kitten will jump in saying,well then just dont move untill the condition is gone…So,we stand there not moving,also not attacking because retal hits like a truck,confusion hitting you aswell…I think in about 4 patches warriors will be just sitting ducks standing around being worthless because were probably gonna be punished for breathing in air aswell.

If the patch notes were “leaked” intentionally, then it is for the purpose of soliciting feedback before the patch goes live. So, “complaining” and “praising” are part of the feedback ArenaNet will need before these changes are implemented.

So “stopping complaining” is tantamount to not giving feedback (which would defeat the entire purpose of the “leak”). The Devs need to know what we think of the changes, good and bad, so this game can be the best that it can be.

Giving feedback on Real patchnotes…not on patchnotes that could have been written by anyone..Hence wait for the Official patchnotes,so you can give Proper “Feedback”……

Maybe we should stop complaining untill the Actual notes are up and the patch goes live…

The game is multi threaded,it just doesn’t utilize all cores to it’s fullest.

I spent 100 gold on a tag that I don’t even use. It never fails every time I turn it on people will critisis me for simply having a commander tag. People will even whisper me with name calling and harsh insults to my intelligence. How can you base intelligence on how someone plays a video game? So far i am having fun in WvW, we still manage to put up a fight from time to time. Yesterday we had some crazy rushes from PS on our keep in EB. We wiped, they Wiped, we wiped some more etc All in all it is a fun week in WvW eventhough PS is a bit out of our league

They have the people to fill up all maps at all times.They still do things like early morning golem rushes on EB with about 30 people when there is no real reason too,i see alot of people saying good things about piken but their kinda mweh imo.They do have some very organized guilds that really know how to play i agree with that,but other then that im not really impressed by their actions,more by their numbers at any given time.

Laughs at “totally unjustified” golem rush/siege use? check.
Condescending “Oh sure, some of them are half-decent”? check.

Honestly the numbers speak for themselves, and anyone who does a significant amount of WvW has seen it. Roaming is almost the “fight thieves” mode of the game at this point. Which exacerbates the problem even further.

Fighting a thief 1v1 isn’t that horrific if you know their mechanics (play one, if only to learn), yes they can reset but most give up if you brush them off 2/3 times and many will get greedy and die. But many players who could handle a 1v2 against other classes will get wrecked by a pair of even somewhat competent thieves.

If the cause were all other Thief builds sucking, their population wouldn’t have ballooned like this. Don’t get me wrong, they need more build diversity (like a lot of classes) but stealth is out of control at this point. Bring back 4s revealed at least, that should thin their numbers a bit.

Oh and make it so that if you hit someone with the Heartseeker through Black Powder the stealth fails with revealed.

Why do people feel they’re entitled to win 1v2s?

Honestly, if 2 thieves can’t kill 1 player they need to l2p. You should not be able to win against 2 assassin type characters.

And why should you not be able to win vs 2 enemies,no matter the class ? That would be nonsense.Also never seen thiefs doing the same vs other people? Why would any class except thiefs be unable to do this ?

Some races should stay as they are..not all are meant to be playable neither should they become so.The only actual race i would like to see playable would be Dwarves,about them being turned to stone..thats no issue,its an mmo after all..something can always happen that would turn them living again.Imagine a whole story involving around Dwarves and us looking for “something” to turn them back into flesh and blood again.Anyway..Kodan for a “Maybe” since i think they could look pretty awesome in the right gear with the right weapons,but other then that i wouldn’t want to see any of the other races you named being made playable.

So they waste 800 gems to annoy people..The sound will probably be blocked somehow again just like the winterbells because people like to act like a bunch of immature little pricks ( No kitten here ? ) .So then the forum will be flooded by these fools demanding their sound back since theyve spend 800 gems on something ! just walk away from that area for now,or report them for spamming..i mean it is spamming.

Ive done that in about an hour some time ago…Was pretty bored..But just as killing that champ..it takes long,and gets pretty boring.Even after slaying Tequatl solo and giving me some “awesome” Green loot…It didn’t really felt rewarding At all…Just time consuming.

I do like them looking more realistic..not so Barbie & Ken…I think most humans in this game are too “pretty” they dont have a hardend look.Norn only have a couple of those,face full with scars,the nose thats off etc..I like that stuff.

Just ignore them—don’t feed and it’ll go away and look for responses elsewhere. Roaming WvW thieves are looking to feed on your rage. Thief is the Troll class, anet got completely carried away making them and people have taken that to the next level, as the players always take things further than the devs can envision.

Mesmers are pretty slow, at least from what I’ve seen/heard, so maybe you should roll a class more suited to escaping from others, like a… oh yeah, have you tried a Thief?

Isn’t that showing that something is Terribly wrong with the class,if people say Just ignore them…If even Developers say “Just ignore the thief”…Anet fix Thiefs allready,and if you got no clue on how to fix them,come out and say so….So the players will fix the class for you….

Well,i just got my ticket tonight.Wasn’t even thinking of ever getting one since my luck with these things is normally horrible.But i think,all together i found around 200 – 300 chests,didn’t spend any gems on them and about 2h ago now i got my first ticket.So yes,in this case i think i was pretty kitten lucky.

What kind of job do you have? If you do anything with programming, you’d know that such things can take an extremely long time, not necessarily because they’re difficult, but because they’re not important.

Looting mostly works in this game. Changing working systems has last priority. There were far more serious issues to address first. The game is now relatively bug free, at least concerning game breaking stuff. Time to work on the fun stuff. For the same reason, lfg tool is far down on the prio list.

What does my job has to do with anything that i have said ? i;m making a comment about something that should have been adressed months ago,if something has been suggested over and over again it would been a good idea to put a bit higher on your priority list.Many people have been annoyed by the fact that when looting you pick up banners start talking with npc’s etc and text bubbles pop up on your screen,its frustrating and has been suggested from the start of gw2.Giving looting it’s own key would have been the best way to deal with this instead of sharing it with the interactive key imo.

Why bother continuing on ? if you notice this from the start,say bye bye and find another group.Also start doing dungeons with people you know or from your guild.

I have GTX560TI SLI,and it’s kinda hard to describe,you dont get a massive boost like you can get in alot of other games.But the load is being spread out pretty evenly across my gpu’s reducing the heat alo,since when using a single card my gpu starts screaming and getting to about 70c,but with sli enabled they both hover around 55 – 60c.Now if i have sli enabled and i stand still watching the MF in LA i have the exact same fps as when sli is disabled ( it differs alot area to area ).

But when you enter WvW you will notice a difference especially in the bigger fights,i think im having about 10fps more with using sli in these circumstances.So yes,the difference is noticable when there’s alot going on your screen.

No idea but, people have a different definition of what runs smooth for them.Some people call 30 fps smooth,i call it choppy..60 fps is smooth imo.But your other hardware is important too,especially your CPU.You can have the best gpu but if your cpu is lacking,you will still be playing choppy.So rather post All your specs,and maybe someone can jump in who actually owns a 460.But all in all a 460 should be more then enough to run Gw2 at high, (Pve speaking).

I love these amateur “graphics mods” these days.
They increase constrast to hilariously exaggerated levels, to the point the game looks like a cartoon, and call it “The Ultimate Super Mega kitten zor Hax of L33tskillz Graphix skillzors!”.

Agreed, most of the screenshots are over-saturated and quite ugly… people should learn to calibrate their monitor instead of using third party “mods”.
The only positive benefit I can see from that thing is the new anti-aliasing modes.

How it looks ingame is Completely different for Every monitor.Just because a screenshot can look “oversaturated” is because of your monitor settings,if i post a shot now it will look oversaturated and dark,ingame it looks completely different because Guild wars Not using windows calibration or the nvidia control panel settings in fullscreen mode,but they Are being used when you make a screenshot,hence a weird outcome of the screenshot and usually much darker and more saturated then it actually is.The settings are “monitor specific”,hence you need to find your own settings,you cannot simply copy other people’s settings either.Also the AA setting aren’t “new” at all and calibrating your monitor doesn’t do the same as using SweetFx,again someone incapable of figuring out what sweetFx actually is,but rather judge on screenshots made for a specific monitor, and you using your windows calibration to watch them,gives you a Completely different look then how it actually is.Use it before speaking might be wise in this case..

FSP doesn’t really blob..in EB atleast,mostly we’re just forced to go that way.If i ever comm and i see i have “too much” people.I ask for people to make striketeams and go campgrabbing,or ninja capping.Sometimes your forced to have alot of people with you because some of the “other” servers don’t like to move about with less then 60 people,and even then they get completely demolished because the lack of skill to do anything usefull with that many people.Hence they rather sit and camp their towers all day long to come out at night and cap empty maps.

That’s Am for you,a server uncapable of doing anything usefull when there are other people on the map besides them ( in EB atleast.. ).I don’t see a reason for them to bloat here,you;re not good AM,not even a tiny bit.You just have the numbers to fill up every bl,and the numbers to take over empty maps in the middle of the night vs 5 people,that’s the only reason you even have points.

Devon is basically addressing 90% of the issues brought up on these forums and people still cherry pick parts and take them out of context so that they can keep complaining.

It makes the entire WvW community look stupid.

Not being able to understand a joke can you make look pretty stupid aswell.

So,people have trouble enjoying themselves and making a good time..? If you get so upset about a dungeon run,you have other things to worry about then the dungeon itself.Thats their loss…Taking a game so seriously,is ruining their own fun,i would only laugh at something like that.And tbh i only run dungeons ( if ever ) with people i know,or from my guild,suggest you do the same to avoid these things from happening.Dungeon runs should be fun to be doing,you shouldn’t have to worry about “Hmm wich person will start raging this time”.

Players would like a clear and concise yes or no. Personal opinion and the understanding of a worded document are not always agreeable or obvious and its not customer friendly to be vague then ban players after. I would like to try this little programme but I am concerned about Anet wielding a ban hammer for some reason I don’t understand currently and so Anet has -1 loyalty from me for putting me in this position due to their lack of commitment to the player on this.

Most of us are using it since August last year,no mod has ever told us directly it is a bannable offense.It’s merely to increase the game quality,and Anet knows exactly what SweetFx is capable off,and by knowing that.. they know that no one using SweetFx will get a better chance in the game then someone not using it.You will Not get banned using SweetFx,don’t worry.

They should only have to remove the Food buffs upon death in wvw .See how many people still keep buying and using them….

It’s more about the issue that no one should be allowed to be able to switch builds “on the fly” a dev responded on this once,thread might still be somewhere.

No it should stay like this.People should pay money to change their build,they shouldn’t be allowed to change it all on the fly for free whenever they want to counter that kitten they meet in wvwvw and start to make builds just for One target only to switch back later again…No,Horrible idea.

It is rather boring i couldn’t agree more,the lack of maps,objectives..It’s the same thing over and over untill you get bored of it.I used to play spvp Alot at gw2 release,but it was more to test out different builds,traits,using all possible weapon combos then anything else.Once i was done with that i havent touched spvp again,think i only came to rank 24,simply because its not fun to be doing.Now if this was made into something like Kurzicks – Luxons …
