So you will level up regardless if you have or havent explored the maps,did any events or hearts..? Bad idea ,its not hard leveling up and it certainly does not need 15h a day…
For matching up with other mmo’s…? What ? why ? Gw2 wants to be different then other mmo’s.And why would you feel left behind if you cant play for a week,you should stop comparing yourself to others,as we dont all need to level at the same pace,and as we dont all need to get a legendary aswell.

I can imagine the people complaining on forums already…“there’s this constant group of people in one spot near the bank in LA making those awefull music sounds over and over again,i just have to move away from this spot because its so kitten annoying,please reduce the time of these emotes being used since i usually turn my volume off when i hear them!”

Great idea ! But also if this does not get implemented,it might be wise to shout in chat that you have your icon on only for your guildmembers and that others should follow the #1 commander otherwise.

Yes please don’t let this topic die,This really needs to be adressed.It happens way to often,also in wvwvw where it can be really frustrating losing killshot to something obstructed ( when on flat ground ).Also alot of times my target is out of range..when he is certainly Not.Sometimes i shoot my target and no dmg is being seen At all,no message that he is either out of range,or being obstructed.Not sure what’s happening or why it is.

Because a large enough zerg crashes systems,and most of the people using a portal in such a huge zerg do not show up untill half of your team is dead.And for people saying..“now you just have to use 3 mesmers to portal bom them all in the same spot”…Please think for a second,they make a change like this for a reason,you’re trying to find a way to bypass it simply by making More portal bombs..You want them to do something about that too ?

Banners are fine. They are stronger then something like say shouts which are mobile (Aka come with you) so its balanced that they need to be picked up if you move around.

The on use effects are strong, and spending time using them is fine. Banner’s are not designed for a highly mobile fight, such a skirmishing in PvP, not every skill is ideal in every situation.

IMO, banners on the back is a horrible idea because it is too much for us to be able to do at once. And i dont mean being able to manage all the skills buffs, I mean it brings too much to the table without a penalty.

If warriors are the control class, you can’t give them something glaringly different or better than other classes like that, it needs to be balanced with give and take. Giving us the ability to carry a banner while still fully equipping our weapon sets is too much. It would be like giving an engie a grenade kit and allowing him to keep his rifle, or whatever other analogy you want.

This entire post does not make any sense to me whatsoever.FYI,Banners are used For Allies,not personal use,why should i keep carrying it being useles besides pressing 2 – 3 every now an then ? Instead of wearing it on my back,buffing my allies,and be able to smack things with my normal weap.Being able to atleast carry One banner on your back,would be a great idea to be implemented because as of now banners are clunky to use and it happens to often that you are Forced outside of the banner area,and forget it,or need to pick it up again (if you want the effects to do anything usefull ) while people are smacking away at you.

People can and do win 1v2, 1v3, 1v4 every day. It is doable, but not easy, and requires a large skill/terrain/gear advantage, which is honestly exactly how it should work.

Stop telling yourself that you can’t win 1v3 or 1v4 because of the downed system and start realizing that you can’t win those fights because either you’re not good enough or your opponents are too good. It is like saying “I woulda won but they were using weapons and stuff and attacking me if they were AFK I woulda got ’em”. You don’t get to ignore mechanics you’re bad at and then proclaim victory on the basis of those mechanics being dumb anyways.

You played with a warrior before ? Its unable to finish of someone,when playing 1 vs 3, 1 vs 4,you will Not finish them all and struggle with most of it.Hell,ive won 2vs6 with a thief buddy,because HE was able to finish them off,Not me,i down them,he finish.Not every class is able to do this,thiefs have a huge advantage over all other classes in downing + finishing off.

Its been reported over n over,i made a thread a while back about the sm lag being pretty devastating for people trying to protect it..Zero responses. Gl with this one.

Most were there from launch already,just a few got added later on,not the majority.Also the aion emote was for people who pre ordered aion or something,not sure anymore.

Banners on your back would be an interesting change. Would need some thought on running multiple banners though. This would be a way to make having them as part of your build less irritating.

This is The solution…honestly.

Just wish they atleast had the basic emotes from gw1..the current emotes are quite sad tbh.And btw,wheres the drunken mumbling “I’m The King Of The World”… “I Love You Man !”…These things were so generic,yet so freaking fun in gw1.

Honestly ? everything is So easy to find and do in gw2 you barely have to use a brain at all…Compared to some other mmo’s i played where you Had to constantly google stuff…gw2 is insanely easy to understand.

great idea,i think Commander title for about 1000 badges would be nice,atleast you know someone is commanding who played wvwvw before not some random rich pve kid who likes to show off a blue icon and think commanding is KewL but doesnt know jackkitten about it.

How about some official answer that you people are working on it or atleast Looking to change it ? Also The Triangle wich appears above someone’s head when youve Targeted someone,compared to someone who is downed,looks to much alike changing the shape or colour for any of these would solve this..Its no einstein project you dont have rewrite entire engines right,i think this would be a simple change that alot of people are begging for,yet nothing is being done.If you want to atleast keep some customers,please start listening to these basic changes we are suggesting.

5 DE’s on dzago map against 10 of FS – nothing much happening since you guys keep trebbing a t3 bay not realizing that you wont make it to the lord 10v5.

No people at all on FS map – all green and nicley ticking for us.

No dzagos on UW map aginst maybe 2 or 3 camp takers from FS and maybe the same numbers form UW to cap them back. Rest is all red.

Equal numbers on EB between FS and UW with maybe 5 players more on Dzago’s side. Slowly taking blues remaining objectives out before visiting UW’s third.

Overall 75% alts under lvl 80 on both FS and UW and like 15% on DE. There you have your nightcappers. Just think about it please

It will stay this way untill DE moves away,next week probably.Most people do not want to play against you guys,exploiting,hacking, glitching in towers,glitching inside walls in bay,the issues have been named and they keep on happening,i do not say this to discuss,its the harsh reality wich you people will not accept.Do these things,and you have a mighty boring week,maybe a good lesson for next time ? Kinda strange, i feel exactly the oppsite of you. The last few hour of the old match, we had a group of 25 People of our guild (+ maybe 1-10 Random fellows) against a zerg of maybe 50+ of FS on Dzagonur homelands. I dont wanna cry, we did fare well, you didnt even get more then one tower, we slaughtered about 500 of yours in 3 hours. And i didnt see that much exploting, but mad ppl gonna be mad.

But i just tried to figure out, why our views are so different, and thats the conclusion ive come to:

FS outnumbers us on 3/4 Maps during the day, thats ok for you.
DZ outnumbers you on 3/4 Maps during the night, thats ok for me.

so basicaly each and everyone of us is happy, as long as his server is winnig, its that easy!

But one thing i cant understand: The only “guild squad” of FS i remember, is [BLOS]. None on UW. So if you wanna have a fight, ill be there!

Please go on posting, its amusing me every time. Ill go on fighting against the real population of FS and UW: The ones who fight till the bitter end, and dont go crying in forums, because one was crule to them!

Is this considered good tactics? What happened to actually fighting? What is even funnier is once you figure out the gimmick, it is easily defeated and sent packing. Is this what you folks fought so hard to get into a high tier for? I totally love the portal bombing, but the stacking thing is just terrible tactics.

Nah,don’t like this matchup.Rof ,UW,FS was fun,but vs DE its garbage to play against,nothing but exploiting,teaming with the opponent against FS,and nightcapping ppl from other country’s….Plus there are no small tactical squds within DE,just big zergs.Plus the constant portal bombing with invisible zerg gets boring aswell,it’s obvious when its gonna be used but the culling issue is being used as an advantage here and mostly people notice it untill half are death. All in all,i like to play a fair game but De has no clue what this means.

I dont mind about the ressing people,it’s imo the downed state that has no place in wvwvw,and feels quite unbalanced and a frustrating thing on most occasions.

It feels way to close for me,wish i could zoom out further…

Because dark places are so awesome….No.Btw there’s enough dark ,gritty places imo,The balance between these types are fine as it is.Each map has great variety in detail and effects,no map looks the same.I think its all good as it is.If you want dark,gritty,go Orr and have fun.

It’s the freaking sunny on the green map! All i can do (as the commander who just took the tower) is saying in TS to not attack the door with any kind of jump/blink skills. And if it happens accidently (happend to me too btw since i forgot on which map i was) to just jump of the wall. I also told that one guy that it wasnt cool pulling the lord already to the door but yeah… We would have gotten the tower anyways with 30+ attackers, 4 rams, 1 cart and against only 10 defenders. And we did smash the door before attacking the lord.

So all i can say is that i am sorry and beg Anet to finally fix this door which is buggy since at least 3 months now.

No need to apologize,save it for later for when you guys hack/exploit your ways in eb towers or keep.

When a large enough zerg uses a portal bomb..in a full server atleast,changes are likely you will be greeted with the sound bug and have to restart,or are greeted with a crash .This has happend now twice in a row tonight,when theres so many people using a portal bomb and then they all have the be processed at the same time or hower your cullingsystem works…ending up crashing systems,atleast it does for mine tonight.

Imo,portal bombing needs to be looked at as a whole in wvwvw untill the culling issue is fixed aswell.If a zerg this big portal bombs there is nothing you can do about it since you will not see them after you have died,or after it crashes your system.

You should do what makes you happy.

But i’ll be honest and say that if you want a rifle warrior, you’re better of with an engineer or even ranger which can also use gs or swords. Sure, rifle isn’t terrible damage, but it sure is a lot less compared to let’s say axes or gs. I can say this because i do use a rifle, but only as 2nd set for when i need that range damage. But i always prefer melee damage, and my melee damage is simply better.

You couldn’t be more wrong,engineer rifle is focused on controlling and close range,warr rifle is focused on dmg output, + warr’s rifle range has a longer range.Also,warr rifle when using the correct build + piercing trait..can make for some fun times.Got a thief buddy to help you out ? let him make you invisi and pick off people with killshot in a zerg,line em up nice,because sometimes its to obvious when you see a warr kneel down and people evade it easily.But tbh, warr rifle > engineer rifle, mainly for the fact that ive never seen a engi down 4 – 5 people in a row with one single shot like ive seen happening with killshot.

Hell no.this is like the worst idea ive read so far,sorry to say.

No,thank the downed state to that.Only thiefs are able to do this easily,yet another imbalance issue.Youre missing the point where downing can seriously affect pvp in wvwvw in a bad way,especially when One class is able to this,yet the others mostly fail.Stop thinking about every encounter being a Zerg vs Zerg type scenario,your missing Alot of others.

You want badges,fight for them.Jp has no place in wvwvw,i honestly wish it would be removed already.

@ dragon..then kill more,do more wvwvwv and join the zergs, 7 in 4 hours playing….i think i have 7 in a few minutes.

Downed state is what’s stoping me from trying to fight vs multiple opponents,really.I mean i still try..as a warr,and im able to go head to head 1 vs 4.But when i down 2 players,and im unable to finish them off due to 2 players still attacking me,my support skills on cd so being knockd backed etc etc not being able to finish off…so your standing there like an idiot trying to finish of 2 people youve just downed and it just wont happen…If this state was removed i would honestly be able to take 3 – 4 people perhaps and would gladly do so.Now im running away from most 3 – 4 encounters i find Due to downed state and Downed state Alone.I think it has absolutely no Place at all in wvwvw.By the way,downed state gets abused like CRAZY,especially by mesmers,thiefs,or someone with that awefull mistform runeset.People just rinse and repeat what theyr doing because they know..they go down,but wont be finished,they just get up,regain hp and do the same.

No,not at all,walk 20 sec while being on your mounts…get of,fight,rinse and repeat.Yeah great addition,mounts in wvwvw.Maybe if they make newer maps with mounts actually being Usefull in wvwvw itself.WIch it wouldnt be at this point,the maps are not large enough to go roaming around with mounts,it would make the maps feel even smaller,people would be at their locations way to quick,also when your attacking a tower and people will be there even sooner to defend it or kick your kitten away.No…mounts in wvwvw would be such a turn off.

It’s the map,it just horribly done.big reason im using SweetFX,no more blurryness for me,not even in that map.

Get rid of stealth because I die to much from it. How about you just learn how to adapt…. Having to fight illusions is really annoying, getting portal bombed is really annoying, 15k crit warriors with 20k+ life is annoying, but we all just deal with it.

Honestly you complain about a warrior ? immobilize,cripple cripple cripple kite kite…no matter how much dmg they deal,warriors are WAY easier to catch and to predict their movements then a thief will ever be.

I think nvidia can release some better performance drivers for gw2 though,i mean how many times did they do this ? Once perhaps ? How many times do they keep releasing drivers for other games stating it will give you XX% more fps yadayadayada,ive only seen this on one of their drivers for gw2,they havent even tried optimizing it for gw2 any further at all.SLI works fine most of the cases,but still not optimal for one..

Is the noise coming from your headphones/speakers ? Or is it coming from your pc ? it could be coil whine from your psu or gpu when your pc is stressed.

the devs dont need to respond,they have people for that,a simple “were looking at it,im passing the info to the devs”,Would be a nice start,ive honestly seem some great suggestions here,but no word if anything is ever gonna be done with them.Then whats the point of this section of the forum tbh ? I got the same problem as you do and it is specially annoying in WvWvW as you might find yourself in middle of enemy group. My specs scored 9 and 10 from “can you run it” tests. Going to get another graphics card and put SLI on. I wonder if it helps at all to load the characters faster. Also I’m going to get more ram.

SLi is Hit and Miss it could actually make your performance worse. you may want to read the forums about other peoples SLi issues and see what your getting yourself in for.

Also Guild Wars Scales in performances with CPU far better than it does with GPU’s

I agree! im at 600+k karma atm,and Nothing i can buy with it thats somewhat usefull to me.Being able to atleast buy cultural with it,( or something else…Whatever ) would be a nice addition.

Every thread about mounts gets deleted,for a good reason.Since im seeing most people do not want to see mounts in this game,for many reasons,including myself.its been discussed over and over,and every thread gets closed eventually.

The bubbles surrounding the sieges,fix the “push back effect” please, ive been stuck within 2 of those bubbles ( honestly ) ping ponging me around untill i died form people aoeing me.yes people laughed theyre kitten of,myself included but still think it needs to be adressed somehow :p

Thanks all exploiters and bug abusers,glitchers and culling abusers,you’re destroying wvwvw for your own “pleasure”.What we need,is a gm ingame in wvwvw just invisibly scanning areas every now and then,because we are Unable to even report these people in most cases.I know t would be difficult to achieve on all servers offc…but something tneeds to be done about this,and these people need to feel they are doing the wrong thing aswell.
